I worked most closely with Tamra but the entire team at Foundation Mortgage was incredibly efficient and accommodating. Tamra suggested a loan structure that resulted in a lower overall loan amount (and a lower commission for her) but that was a better solution for me. You can't put a price on that level of honesty and commitment to looking out for the best interests of clients.

A word of advice: you will save a lot of money by going with Nick and Foundation Mortgage over one specific bank. The Foundation team shops your application around with several mortgage lenders they trust in order to get you the best deal possible. It's nice to see a company garner 5 stars in their reviews. Buying a home should be, in the final day, a happy experience. Ours with Foundation was not. I will not single out individuals in this review. They know who they are.
Apparently asking questions and following up with a real estate attorney for the most important purchase of your life, upsets people at Foundation. Getting specific details in writing to.protect our interests with a realtor and mortgage company also offends them.
We went with a USDA loan. The information given to us on this loan regarding the appraisal and what would be needed for loan approval was completely wrong. Asking questions made them angry. We had to take the words of the Fantastic Christian realtor and mortgage people as gospel.
Fortunately, the realtor and mortgage company never called or appeared at the closing. It's just as well, we wouldn't want to upset them with questions. Just happy when this was over.
Tred carefully with their feelings and anyone they recommend as a realtor. They are a sensitive bunch.

We have worked with this company for buying our first home and worked with them a second time to do the refinancing. Very easy and smooth process and Josh P. is a delight to work with. Their rates are low and highly competitive and process was very fast. If we ever need to buy or refinance another home we will definitely go through them. Also enjoyed that at closing we were able to do curbside service due to COVID-19 and they brought all the paperwork to our car. Highly recommend such a wonderful and professional company!!!

I financed my home with Foundation Mortgage last July. The lender I went to before FMC told me they could not do my loan. FMC was able to be able to problem solve and get me approved that same day. Not only were they able to get me approved but they gave me the best rate I had come across. Upfront, Nick did such a thorough and honest job of explaining to me the different loan products and helping me understand how the numbers played out. Foundation Mortgage has a team environment and no matter who I spoke with in the office, I received caring and prompt service.

Received a voicemail advising me on all my options and how they could save me so much money on my nonexistent mortgage. I called and requested to be removed from the call list. Was assured that I would be taken care of by a very nice lady.
SIX MINUTES LATER I received another call from Shawn. I told him I requested to be removed from the list. He wouldn't stop trying to tell me all he could do for me to save money on my mortgage. He did not listen and I finally had to tell him to remove me from the list or I would file a complaint. He stated again he was trying to say me money and I finally hung up on him. If the people trying to handle mortgages can't listen to someone who doesn't want/even have one, that never bodes well for the company.
The response makes it even worse. I can accept that it was marked wrong. Happens all the time. The response during the call should've been, "oops, have a good day." Instead I was talked over, ignored, and had to hang up to get the point across.
This is a group of top notch business professionals. They are hard working, responsive, dedicated, and very client oriented. So pleased to have a mortgage brokerage firm like them in town.

Very knowledgeable and prompt at responding to all your questions. Purchased a house in Knoxville while living in another city and had to travel overseas right before closing. Had a lot going on and was very busy but they made sure I have all the necessary documents to be able to close on time.

Nick and his team are AMAZING! We had been approved for a conventional mortgage with our local bank (who also is known nationwide). A couple weeks before closing, they wanted to change our loan that would haved cost us in an additional closing costs and higher mortgage payment. I reached out to Nick and he was able to get the conventional loan with a BETTER APR, payment and less closing costs AND get the loan closed in an astounding 21 days! By having exactly everything they needed up front, along with getting the additional information the underwriter requested, back the same day, we were able to close on the home we were selling as well as our new purchase the same day!! If I could rate them 10 stars I would!!!
