Make sure you triple check the item you bought. They will sell you an used with dent and missing part camera as new. When I went back to enquire I the missing part, was told they will order in and call me. Did not get any of my details down. I was stupid to believe they were ordering the part in. Call them every month and was having same excuse of the part was ship from Germany so it takes time. Guess what, eight month later the part is still no in. When I called again. The guys sold me the camera was conveniently on holiday, the manager Steven who said he will order in is no longer working there. Aly promised she will call me back yesterday and today. And not surprisingly no one called. Be ware and stay away from them whenever you can. Leica has choose a very bad store as their sole reseller.

I recently bought a few camera accessories from them. Was going to buy a new camera lens for travel but took too long to decide whether to buy Sigma or Tamron and missed the Black Friday Sales.
We had a great experience and customer service with our visit to Digidirect Bondi Junction, especially with one of the staff, Manish. He was very helpful in giving us advice on our purchase of a Sigma lens. We will highly recommend and definitely come back for all our camera needs.
This store is absolutely wonderful. The selection is perfect and the staff are all equally comprehensive. I truly believe their prices are unmatched. Also, with each film roll developed you're gifted a fresh roll - I am so impressed. Zohar served me and he was a delight. The manager whose name escapes me is also lovely. Thanks guys
Best camera shop I have dealt with, the crew are super friendly and always happy to help. Love the photo lab here, my go to place for 35mm film photography for being fast processing of shots and film reel back offer! Highly recommend
New manager Mark there is a mate of mine thats been looking after my photographic needs for 15 years now and even though I have a fairly arduous journey these days compared to where he used to work, his demeanor and standard of service makes the trip well worth it. Knowing him he will make sure all the staff there work to the same standard so I couldnt recommend this store more highly.
The technician there Thomas is a true professional, really thorough and helpful about cleaning my equipment. But when I looked around the shop there were no prices up anywhere which made it difficult to decide what to buy. I had a list of three things I needed and ended up getting none because the guy that helped me was so rude about me having to ask the prices of everything. He was condescending, irritable and I got the impression I was boring him by shopping there.
If you need a passport style photo, look elsewhere. After spending 20 dollars, I asked the staff member to cut them for me and he did just like he was chopping a bunch of lettuce (if that make any sense). What a disappointment. Congrats digiDirect, you just lost a costumer.
Best, best, BEST place to repair camera (both digital and film)!!! Favourite place to get my film developed (literally only took them a couple of days to get my film developed). Not only do they have the friendliest, and most helpful staff members, but they also offer a lot of great deals from time to time. Shout out to Harry and Thomas for being some of the biggest MVP's of digiDirect Bondi! Every visit to digiDirect Bondi is always a highlight :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND 5 STARS 10/10!!! Thanks guys!
Incredible lack of knowledge. No help and not even a try. He just doesnt know whats a nodal head or a pano / hdri, doesnt know oben and doesnt even consider trying. He just wanted to sell this big video head that I never asked for ;). Funny but big waist of time.
The staff at DigiDirect are awesome, I've had particularly good service from those in the lab. I have been developing my film with them for over a year now and their quality is better than any other lab i've been to, I even send my film from QLD to them! Highly recommend getting your film developed from here and a big thanks to the crew in the lab for being legends (particularly Hratch)
I was referred to these peeps by a fellow photographer and I haven't looked back. Very knowledgeable, super easy communication and they can solve problems ASAP - I was never pushed in to purchasing anything and felt I was always given honest advice on products and better cheaper alternatives where possible. Big Ups to Tim in the online department !

DO NOT DEVELOP FILM HERE. Had an absolutely shocking experience, and had a staff member ruin an entire roll of very precious film- images from my sisters wedding. They claimed they had no idea how it happened. I went to a professional film photographer/ servicer for his opinion and he confirmed that the mistake was blatantly obvious and that digi direct was at fault. I asked around about people s experience with this store and they all agreed that they had horrible experiences here and they avoid it all costs. I was given $25 to use in store but that sadly does not cover the loss of images.

Honestly the worst experience ever. Treated me likeable idiot. Had to wait for them to go to warehouse to get the gear. Came back to hear them bitching about me potentially not coming back. Would not recommend buying here and will never go back. Staff are horrible and arrogant. Do yourself a favor and go on Amazon. I would have if I hadn't needed the gear the next day.
Digi Direct is awesome. Will always get your film developed within 48 hours. You get a free roll of film every time you get one developed! Mark has helped me out every time I have gone in and has great customer service!
On top of providing me with the cheapest price on the market for a Sony A7iii, they dealt with an early warranty issue incredibly, basically saving my upcoming week of shooting. Great prices and great service.
Digi direct is my favourite place to develop my film in Sydney. It's always super fast, they do an amazing job and the staff is the best (especially Hratch) ! you even get a free roll of film with your development. I went in for a passport photo and was told it was $20 until i asked for a digital copy and that was going to be $25. (Mind you last time i got this done it was $20 all together for both). I wrote down my email on a piece of paper and the lady read back my email just to confirm the correct letters. I was told to check my junk mail as it sometimes get sent there. Got nothing! No email, no digital photo, no nothing! I paid for this. What happened?
Staff were very helpful yet there wasn't one price on anything... only way to find out how much an item was you have to ask someone... for someone like me that shops around checking prices on a multitude of items made that impossible.. all so the lack of high speed memory cards was a concern.. one if the main things I was chasing and they didn't have any bar one brand that I have never seen or heard of.. the shops well laid out and the staff veey helpful though the first person I spoke to didn't know anything about the memory cards at all...
So may be best to shop online and hopefully they have a pick up from the shop feature cause going in and browsing is pointless without prices...
Recently I was looking to change my setup and went into DigiDirect. The staff were so helpful, answered every question I had and helped me find the best camera for what I wanted. There was no sense of rushing or felt like they were pushing the most expensive things, just genuinely wanted to find out what was best for me. I m so happy with my new Sony! :) Also this is the only place I ever go to get film developed, best in the business.
I only put 4 stars because the staff was nice and helpful but the passport photos were far from desirable. I've got a fair skin and blond hair but when the photos were printed they were dark: my face was too dark with the white patch above my lips and my hair were not even blond. I should have choose the other place to do my passport photos.
I had the audacity to want to confirm a few things before placing an order online for the first time with Digi Direct and was hung up on. I suppose that was their way of saying "sorry, we cannot help you"
Not worth buying a camera from these guys, may as well buy direct. We had an issue with a 1DX brought from them and they could not offer a resolution or loan camera and told us to contact the manufacturer. We will buy direct from supplier in the future. Worst service
Dont go NEAR them... Bought gear for $4000. one of the lenses was defective (focusing ring was way too stiff and unusable). Returned to the store and one of the staff members just lied to me in my face telling me that it's ok, trying to send me home with a defective product. We compared it to the display lens and I was right. He said he will order another copy from another store and will call me when it arrives. They never called. After a week I called them, they said the lens has arrived. Drove to the store again and they handed me another copy. The box didn't look like it's new, scratched, and the lens looked used. I suspected they are trying to give me the display lens so I asked to see the display one I saw a week earlier. They said they've sold the display lens. I was super upset, asking to talk to the store manager and complain about it all and then came Paul. Paul was just acting disgustingly, spoke to me as if I was nothing, absolutely rude, saying the word f*** quietly to impress his staff. Eventually I took the lens home only to find out it was defective as well!!! It make funny noises while focusing and the elements were shaking horribly. Another defective copy. I had to go back to the store again and asked for a refund. Paul refused to refund me and agreed only after I said I will file a complaint to Fair Trading. 2 defective lenses in a row and the worst customer service I've seen in my 43 years. Stay away from them and buy from a reliable shop, they are just too dodgy and who knows where they get their merchandise from. When I told the store manager I will write a bad review online he pointed at their security cameras several times and threatened me that he will put our whole interaction online, as if our voices were recorded. He really believes his customers are dumb... Do yourself a favor and buy in another store or online, it's much safer.
Customer service in store was good bit of a wait but still good but over the phone shocking. called on Sunday to get a lead time on a camera due to a really good sale price. Was told they would call me on Monday with a lead time and so I could order the camera waited all day and tried to follow up call them with no luck and no voice mails. Still no call called them today not able to do anything on price due to sale being over. Due to this, now having to spend an extra $500.
Best one stop shop for all camera supplies, products and knowledge. Friendly helpful staff and technician even helped fix my phone, and cure all my photographic needs.
I am a digi-direct regular customer. I have spent a lot of money (happily because it is my hobby) getting film and photos developed. Usually the customer service is great. However yesterday and today I was extremely disappointed with the customer service. I dropped my film in soon after opening time to be printed and put in my drop box. $25. Usually by the end of the day my film is ready and in my drop box. Today I rang them up, more than 24hrs later to be put on hold several times and told they were "extremely busy" and told by a girl that had she been working she would have told me my prints would take a lot longer then usual. Whoever served me on the phone made me feel very silly for ringing and stupid for thinking my film as usual would ready quickly. Putting me on hold 3 times is unnecessary. It is obvious that had not begun developing my film. I'm worried that I might have to look elsewhere to get my film developed in the future. Disappointing. Nothing is in my dropbox still.
We bought a fabulous Panasonic LUMIX camera from the Bondi junction store. We were given the best advice on the camera to purchase as well as the best customer service when we had a hiccup with the camera. Zohar was so helpful we will only buy our cameras from this store. Highly recommended.
