My husband and I bought a 2014 Ford Focus from here in May. We are expecting our first little one in October and I drive a lot so we went in to find something with good gas mileage and safe for our growing family. At 4006 miles, and after making one payment, we had to take the car in and they kept it a week due to transmission problems. One of the service guys told us that they had been seeing lots of these cars with same problem. Feeling nervous, I started researching, found out that multiple people have had serious problems with this car just like we had. It was slipping gears and jerking and lurching at the car in front of us. Sometimes, it would slip out of gear and take a second to get back into gear. It was scary. So I go back to ford to discuss my options as I'm now 7 months pregnant. The service technician manager was horrible, telling me that I could just keep bringing the car in, there was nothing wrong with it. It wouldn't leave me stranded and would not cause a wreck. I requested the paperwork for where they worked on my car and it never came. Had to request 5 times before I finally got it. The second time I took it in for a squealing sound, was told they bent the heat shield while working on transmission, fixed it in 2 minutes (after waiting 45 to even be acknowledged) and sent me home again with no paperwork, telling me I didn't need any. Take the car back home and it progressively gets worse with the jerking and stalling. Take it back two more times desperate for something to be done. Call regional manager again. Never even heard back from him - Austin was his name. Finally had to take a huge financial hit and trade the car in. Still so very upset and disappointed to have been a loyal Ford customer for over 10 years and be treated that way and left in a very unsafe car while now 8 months pregnant. Very very very sad they treat their customers so terribly. These cars are not safe and they are marketing them saying it's normal for this car, but nothing about the way these cars drive is normal.

Purchased a 2019 F250 Lariat there last July. Saleslady, Kenzie was wonderful. Have had to take it in for electrical work repeatedly since purchase. It's warranty work, but still inconvenient. Have had the check engine light on more times than I can count. on my last trip there, I specified a rather large list of items to be fixed. Was told that my truck would be ready to pick up within five days, ended up taking eight days. Upon pickup, I realized that several things on that list were not completed. Also had the displeasure of listening to a service rep disrespect a veteran. Service manager, David, was kind enough to return my call when I left him a message about the disrespect and has since handled it. It still left a bad taste in my mouth, especially after realizing they did not do everything I asked them to do. Rest assured, my next purchase will be a GMC after the ongoing fiasco that Ford ownership has been.

Went for oil change. The service advisor said my oil plug was stripped and had to be replaced. My pickup has always been to dealership for service, never leaked oil until serviced at Bob Utter. Now it leaks at oil plug. Tried to up sale a brake repair also. The boys were standing around and playing around in the shop. It took over an hour from the time my pickup was pulled on the rack. I just moved to Sherman so I started using this dealership. I brought my car here the first time, it was slow and they had trouble replacing a light bulb. I had to show the boy where the bulb was after I saw him start to dismantle the front of the car. No problem with the actual oil change that time.
Don't think I will go back.

The service at Bob Utter Ford was exceptional! I dropped the car off at the Quick Lane and was told it would take about 45 minutes. It was done quicker than that, the service writer went over everything with me and the cashier had me out the in no time at all. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience using Bob Utter s Service Department.
I made an appointment and took my van in for some warranty work. I was told by rep Jason W. I would get an estimate by the end of the day. I did not get a call back so I called the next day around noon. I was told that the mechanic who was working on my van was out to lunch but that my van was next to be worked on and they were running behind schedule. I was again promised a call by end of business. Again, no call back so I called in at lunch time on day 3. I was told nothing had been done on my van so I told the rep that I would be in later that day to pick up my van. The rep gave me loads of excuses for the delay. When I went to pick up my van, they had miraculously gotten some of the work done and ordered parts for the remaining work.
Since I had already been without my van for days I took it home and I brought the van back when the parts arrived. When I came back I asked the rep to note the huge piece of plastic sticking out from the bottom of the van. He said they would take care of that while they were putting in new parts.
When I returned the next day, the original work had been done but the plastic was still hanging. The service rider said he would tack it in place even though it was clearly torn. I didn t get any paperwork because the tech was still working on his paperwork but it will be mailed to you when he s done ???
I didn t want to bother having them try and fix the plastic and risk going through that mess again.
A month later I realized I d never received paperwork on the repairs. I went and they printed out a preliminary invoice because the tech hadn t closed out the ticket. He holds on to it until he has several and then submits them so he can get a good sized check .
I have no idea what he meant by that but you can be sure I will not take my vehicles there ever again. Their lack of communication and abundance of excuses cost them another customer.

First time that I went to this dealership for a oil change. My service advisor Mr. Milam was excellent he explained every thing they checked while I was there very professional. I do have a suggestion if u took appointments for oil change people wouldn t have to wait two hours. I have never seen a dealership that didn t take appointments. I moved from Dallas I have lived in Dallas for 30 + years and every dealership I have ever done business with did appointments. U can still have walk ins and appointments. But I was very happy and will go back

Can t thank Terry Thomas and the entire Bob Utter team for their time and expertise to help me get my new Ford Edge. My car died overnight. We bought a truck here a few months back, so we called Terry as soon as we found out we had a goner in our hands. They were able to offer us several options and I was in my new Edge in no time. I am a home health nurse and my car is my office, so time was of the essence! Terry made notes over the phone and was ready when we got to the dealership. Terry really did listen to my needs and budget, knew his inventory and took us right to the vehicles he knew would work for us. No over selling or switch and bait or any of that nonsense. No haggling with finance; Chris put it all together and helped us with a glitch with our pre-approval documents. First class tutoring class with Donny the tech guy , and away I went. I told Doug what I wanted and how much I was willing to spend, and he found exactly what I was looking for at the price I was willing to pay. At no time did he try to sell me something else or show me vehicles I was not interested in. He valued my time and made the sale transaction easy and simple, less than an hour to do the paperwork. Malcom was professional and explained in detail the financing and warranty, always speaking in terms I understood, ever talking over my head. The vehicle was new, but the dealer still detailed it and I believe it was waxed, with a full tank of gas. Danny went over the features and gave me a complete and thorough demonstration on the vehicle operation. He covered every function, from security system to four wheel drive, mechanical, electronic, computer systems, navigation, he knew it well and I felt very comfortable leaving with the knowledge to enjoy all the features of the vehicle. By far this is the best vehicle buying experience I have ever had.

Great service! Called Doug Mangrum, dealership sales rep, enroute about a particular vehicle and when I arrived it was waiting in front for me to look over. Car looked great! Did a test drive and I was pleased with its handling. Sales paperwork was quick and easy. The car s features were thoroughly explained and demonstrated. The car got some final detailing and I was on the road with the car in less than two hours.

Took my truck in to the "Quick Lane" for last minute oil change and tire rotation. I have a diesel Super Duty. Guys got me right in and finished job very quickly. Service was quick and efficient. Service managers were super helpful, friendly and very courteous. Price was also the lowest I've ever paid too. Hope the rest of the dealership works the same, as I will be back.

I have purchased two vehicle two years in a row now from Bob Utter, one for myself and one for my wife. Did plenty of shopping around before hand and Bob Utter Ford beat everyones price and gave me more for my trade in. Doug Mangrum was our sales rep and he is courteous, upfront and straightforward, easy to deal with and got it all done without a lot of time sitting and waiting. Matt took fantastic care of us yesterday. He even stayed late since we drove several hours to get there and kept getting hit with traffic. Super great team, super friendly, knowledgeable, and everything you want in a dealership. Never tried to swindle us or push us on something we didn t need. We did most of our discussing over phone, Matt gave us a video tour of the truck, and he even had the truck pulled right up front before we got there so it was a super quick process. Highly highly recommend!!

Got us in even though having a busy day, and took the time to drive the car off and on during the day to try to find the issue. They also completed some recall work. My most recent purchase was the smoothest and easiest auto purchase I've ever experienced. Jay and Tommy combined to provide a quick, transparent and honest transaction. They gave me a fair offer on my trade the first time and already had the lowest price on the new truck. I spent less than hour total at the dealership. Dustin also did a great job in finance, he had all of the paperwork printed and prepared ahead of time. If you are looking for a fair deal on a vehicle and don't like playing games and wasting time...I can't recommend this team enough.

Service going down hill!!! Went in after talking to them about getting an oil change and a couple other things done on my wifes edge. Was told it would be no problem. Replace Oil pressure sender switch, oil change/ works package, reset the tire light sensors, and squeaking in the back suspension. 2 1/2 hours later it's ready.... Go to pay and look at there work order....they didn't do the oil sensor and said they cannot get to it ( Its right behind the oil filter and takes 2 minutes when doing an oil change), they didn't reset the tire sensors, and said they could not hear anything in the back after a couple of there techs looked at it......I can literally walk over and push down on the back and hear the squeaking noise along with anyone in a 30' radius. Pop the hood and it's a 1/2 quart low on oil....really. Who knows they probably didn't rotate the tires either, i should have marked them. Make sure your getting the service you pay for people!!!

The Salesman Eric was good and helpful. It would have been better if he had shown more enthusiasm. From the minute I walked through the door, his persona just wasn't excited to us. Even looking through the different options and trying to decide which car would be the best fit for me, he different much advice. Actually, I was surprised that he didn't know the Kia Optima is rated #5 amongst other mid size cars. But overall, my experience with him was pleasant. I did have to send the car back three times to be cleaned again on the inside because the first two times it looked as if they didn't do anything at all. On the other hand, while I was there water decided to come through the womens restroom and put water all over the floor. I told the secretary there what was happening and tried to explain that it was a lot of water and not just a little bit. They put up a "wet floor sign". Fast forward 3-4 hours and nobody has mopped up the water, so every time I needed to use the restroom, I had to tip toe to keep my pants/shoes from getting wet and keep from slipping. Mind you I was there from 10am-5pm AND the only customer they saw ALL day. I asked if someone could mop up the water so it would be easier to use the restroom (they looked at me wide eyed), and one of the guy rudely said, "just put an out of order sign on it, they can walk to the other dealership" So he wanted me, the only customer to come in that to walk over to the other dealership to use the restroom (which I found absurd because the salesman had a gold cart they would use to go back and forth between the buildings) Overall, the customer service was very poor.

Bought a 2016 f150 5.0 with 2 weeks its been back at the dealership the so called extended warranty they sold me doesnt cover a single thing supposedly and they wanted 900.00 just to swap a few solenoids well long story short i have swapped them the ones i took out were brand new looking and seemed to work fine so now im at the phasers being the culprit to all the issues well again not coverd under premium warranty not sure if anything is covered to be honest so canceling that trash first chance i get im about ready to take the truck back and just get my money back cause this had been nothing but bs

I have been in the car business for the last 18 years. I have done every job from sales to gm. I even owned my own used car dealership. I bought my new truck from the Utter organization because of their service and ethics. I drove over an hour away knowing they wouldn t change what was told to me over the phone. I highly recommend Adam, and the whole Utter organization. They have a customer for life here.
