We had a great experience with the staff, especially Brianne (I hope I am spelling that right). She was immensely helpful in assisting my father pick out the right bed and other accessories he needed. She was especially gregarious as well as knowledgeable about what the store offered to fulfill his needs!
Josh did an outstanding job today helping me out with my needs. He was very patient and full of knowledge while making his recommendations. This staff as a whole were top notch and I highly recommend.
I Highly recommend going to the Newington Bob's, we were greeted by Joan who welcomed us to Bobs. We told Joan what we were looking and she showed the best options that would work in our space. Great store, ask for Joan she is very helpful.
I have yet to take delivery (will update once I do), however once again the no pressure sales, and healthfulness of the salespeople, and everything else was quite good. I have now been there a few times myself, and have since taking both my Mom and Dad on separate occasions when they needed new furniture, and in both instances each were very happy.
After 6 months of trying to get comfortable in the sofa and recliner. we are selling both pieces. We will not be getting our next furniture from Bobs. There to stiff in the seats and backs. The power recline is way to slow. The quality is just poor.
Shelly was awesome . She helped us to decide which living room set to go. Also she processed the paperwork extremely fast so we would not have to take to long. Shelley keep up the amazing work.

I went in to purchase furniture for a new apartment on the 30th of August. When I was inquiring about estimated ship times, I was told that I could have my furniture by the 2nd of September. Great! So I place my purchase online. I get the white glove delivery service because I live on the 5th floor and don t want to have to shimmy the furniture in and out of an elevator by myself.
I then get a call that my furniture would be delivered in 2 weeks. First red flag but I had already placed the order and figured that it would be fine and that it would at least arrive before I had family visiting.
So 2 weeks go by and the delivery truck comes with 2 movers and they say that they need more people to get it to the 5th floor and that they need to go make a phone call. I THEN SEE THE DRIVERS DRIVING AWAY WITHOUT SAYING A WORD. I call the customer service line that says they would need 3 people to deliver on a floor that high. I explain that there is an elevator and it s not like they need to climb 5 flights of stairs. To which I am told the truck would be turning around. It never came. I have to call again to ask where my furniture is and they said it would be another week and a half for the rest of my furniture to be deliverEd. Unacceptable. I have elderly relatives visiting soon, have been sleeping on the floor, and have now taken a day off from work to get my furniture delivered.
After being on the phone with customer service for an hr and a half, I am told that there s nothing they can do and that it will come when it comes. So I wait. My elderly family sits on the floor while they re visiting.
When it finally arrives for the second time, there s only two people again. To which they say that they need to go make a phone call to have another person come out. Absolutely not. I know this game. So I hop on the truck and just start unloading my furniture myself. They eventually start to help and we get it loaded into the elevator. The guys seem genuinely upset that they had to do anything while I m helping put the furniture together. Keeping in mind that white glove delivery is over $300 and is supposed to be them delivering it, setting it up and putting it where you want it. When they leave there is packing material all over the floors of my apartment, the hallway, the elevator and trash dropped outside.
After all of this, I still don t have a table because it is out of stock and they won t give me the floor model. So while certainly less critical than the couch my grandparents couldn t sit on, I still don t have a table. They tell me it will be at least another 2 weeks before they can get the table out and that they refuse to discuss delivery compensation until the entire order is fulfilled.
So another 2 weeks go by and I now take my 3rd day off work to get the table. Again having to assist the gentlemen that were delivering. Mid-delivery one of the men gets a phone call and is absolutely losing his mind in the hallway on the phone to this person. He is screaming F-bombs left and right to the point that my neighbors were coming into the hall to make sure that everyone was okay and if a crazy person was in the building. While the man is throwing a tantrum, I help the other guy get the table into the apartment and set up.
So now that my order has been fulfilled over a month later, I call the customer service desk to get my delivery discounted to the price that regular shipping would have been given the amount of effort I had to put into this process. After waiting on hold for 25 minutes for a manager, I was told multiple times that the best they could do was a $25 gift card per order. Bob s is an absolute joke and I cannot underscore how much I would advise going literally anywhere else.
Ron Nystrom at the Newington branch was excellent. Great sales rep. Thanks for your wonderful service Ron. You will definitely be seeing me soon again.

I had an excellent experience in the store. The sales team was welcoming and patient with answering my questions. What's frustrating now is that once I ordered my couch and bedroom set the delivery part has been a complete disaster. I had my furniture delivered and not fully set up because supposedly a drill died. Then I was told that a service tech would be dispatched to me to fix it. By end of day when I hear nothing, I call customer service to discover it was never reported as unfinished. Today I wait on hold again because no one can find the service appointment to just finish completing the setup of my couch set. It will take like 30 min Max to finish I am sure, but why did I pay for in home install when I am now chasing Bobs to finish the job?! Disappointed
Went in for new office furniture and Giacomo Fiore was great! Got everything we needed- he even called over to another store to show us a picture of a chair that wasn't available!
The salesman was absolutely amazing. From his uplifting attitude, knowledge of all of the products, and his brite smile. My wife and I truly had a great experience with Ron Nystrom.
WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! ! My husband and I went into Bob's on a whim. We were greeted at the door by a gentleman named Ron Nystrom. He was smiling and ready to help. He asked all the right questions and from that led us to ONLY the types of furniture we were interested in. No fluff!! He connected with my husband through a common interest and that made us feel even more comfortable. Thanks Ron for offering us tailor-made options and helping us pick the BEST furniture for our home! We will be back ...and we will be looking for Ron!!!
I've been in the process of moving and considering replacing some furniture. Bob's in Newington was easy to find and has a great showroom! Giacomo came to help us almost immediately! I've been in several stores where I've walked in, then around for at least 10 minutes while employees chatted or lounged. It has caused me to just walk out. Giacomo gave me just enough time to walk in, glance around, and then ask to help. He has a great personality and is very professional! I do need to come back after making my final decision, but I was very happy with my shopping experience.
Juan was very helpful to us in that allowed us to buy a floor model and gave us a discount! And the great thing was he did the hard work of emptying it out and helping us to transport it to our vehicle. He really went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. Thank you!!
Went in to buy a new sectional around 8PM and when we walked in the door, Josh introduced himself, let us look around and then was there in the end to set up a delivery for a new sofa! He was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed. 5 stars to our experience and 5 stars to the associate Josh. Make sure to ask for him if you and look for some furniture, he was not pushing us to buy something or bugging us- we all know that s the worst! Thanks Josh!
My wife and I have bought a Dinning Room set, a Living Room set, and today we went back to get a Bed. We dealt with Justin on all three occasions because from the time we meet him he has been a wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful, polite salesman, in fact we now consider him to be a friend and would only deal with him. Whenever we need something we call to see if Justin is there, if he's not we ask when he is scheduled to be in and that's when we go. It has been and I know it will continue to be an on going friendship with Justin and now all we need to do is figure out what to buy next, lol. Thank you Justin for your kindness and professionalism, you are the best.

Probably the best experience I've had in a Bob's Furniture store. The customer service was superb. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Giacomo and Judy helped me get exactly what I wanted and explained the Goof Proof Protection plan and how I would benefit. They were both so welcoming, and they made me feel part of a family. Justin S provided me great customer service from the second I walked in the door. He was really patient while I browsed through my options. He even went the extra mile to try and get me a good delivery time that worked with me. I recieved my items just in time thank you Justin !
This is the most interesting Bob's I have ever been to, it's so inviting and feels like a big house, not a store. The salesperson Corinna welcomed me and my family as we came in and asked us if we would like a cup of coffee on Bob - really! Throughout the whole process we never felt pressured, but Corinna didn't abandon us like the salesperson did at another furniture store in town. I highly recommend this particular Bob's and especially recommend you ask for Corinna.
I was able to find exactly what I wanted at a good price at Bob's. My salesman, Ron, was knowledgeable and narrowed down my choices because he knew the merchandise so well. Everyone was great to work with. It was a great experience. Thank you to everyone that made my shopping experience so pleasant!
Absolutely awful experience getting a couch from Bobs. Chose to pay extra for white glove delivery only to receive a call stating they would not bring the couch up the stairs to the sixth floor, a policy not previously discussed. Upon rescheduling delivery a few days later, the couch did arrive with a HOLE in it. They once again rescheduled a delivery a week later, only to AGAIN show up with a small team unable to take the couch up to my apartment.... Extremely frustrating as a customer as there is a clear disconnect in their company and their policies. After a week and THREE failed deliveries, I finally decided to settle on the damaged couch JUST so I wouldn t have to deal with Bobs again. Would NOT recommend, especially for those in apartments.

Justin at Bob s Furniture on the Berlin Turnpike is an excellent salesman. He is understanding and he listened very well to our needs. We were happy to purchase a sofa bed and chair with an ottoman.
Our salesman, Stephen, was awesome. He had the answers to all our questions and concerns. He was knowledgeable on all of Bob s products and super patient with our 2 kids running around. We ll be back to that store again for our next furniture purchase.
Shelly is very helpful with the whole process from choosing which kind is the best for our house up to the financing part. Id never feel welcome like this to a shop where you are uncertain of the output. Shelly is a good employee to keep. A customer-magnet shall I say, you can easily get comfortable with her.
Our furnitures are yet to be delivered on Saturday, hopefully it will be a worthwile experience too.

Customer service is scandalous, the salesman Justin was a liar that pretended to get us a good deal but really he could care less, when the furniture arrived we did not receive the table due to his/their mistake a.k.a "misunderstanding" therefore the only option was to pay another $200 for it. This was not pleasant in any way shape or form, speaking to the manager of the store was 0% helpful. They like to think that their merchandise is top quality with the best prices. The outcome of this experience has left me very irritated and betrayed.
Every person I ve come in contact with in store has provided absolutely the best face of customer service one could wish for. They ve been pleasant, listened carefully when I spoke, responded appropriately and always been the most helpful they could be. The customer service women at the front counter have gone above and beyond to assist with resolution to a delivery problem, and had made sure to do complete research to verify and fund my proper credit given previously by the customer care department. Each experience in the store has always repeated itself numerous times; as over the last four years I ve made purchases for multiple residences and multiple persons. These are people I am a caregiver for. Their satisfaction was met at every turn. Delivery issues were for the most part non existent with the exception of one instance; wherein the delivery service was not adequate; and I understand that particular vendor is no longer used because of repeated similar customer issues. Overall, I can and do speak about my experiences and recommend shopping at Bob s to many people I speak with. Great job. Good company. Great policies.
My wife and I had a great experience, great value, Luis made sure we knew he was available if we needed him. Excellent and helpful customer service. We returned with our choices and the sale and financing went smoothly along with a few laughs. The manager, Ron completed the deal and made sure everything was in order and we are now looking forward to our new bedroom set. Thanks again guys!
Justin did a great job of showing me all the available options for sleeper sofas (what I came into the store to get). He had no problem pulling out the beds for me, and answering all of my questions. Very personable, professional, and a total pleasure to have been assisted by him!
We were helped by Josh and he was excellent! He gave us plenty of freedom to look around and choose the couch we want, while giving good feedback for any questions we had. We were very happy with our experience, never felt pressured, and left with a great couch at a great price.
Fantastic help! Our PTO voted to make improvements to the Teacher Lounge. We scouted Bob's to narrow down the choices for the committee. Our salesman Giacomo Fiore was so patient and informative even knowing we would not be buying the same day. We spent almost 2 hours taking notes on couch/loveseat combos and was never pressured once. He was great to work with, super knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Once the set was approved, we went back to make arrangements for delivery. Again, Giacomo made it so easy and seamless we are making him our official Bob's Sales Consultant.
My sales agent was Shelly and she was absolutely wonderful... Very patient, knowledgeable, and with a great personality. She helped me make the better decision in choosing a bedroom set. In addioadd, the entire team worked well together. I even found myself laughing at some of their jokes. The manager was wonderful and very inviting as well. Even the gentleman who assisted with the payment was a sweetheart. I left in an uplifted mood and my mission complete.
Shopping at Bob s was a pleasure. The associate who helped me was helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. I strongly suggest going in store to make your decision as I ended up leaving with a completely different couch set than I had expected.
Bob s Furniture has always been a lucky store for us. We visited most of the stores in CT but end up buying from Bobs. They carry wide variety of ranges which fits everyone needs. We finally got the recliner sofa that fits our need and preference. One to keep in mind while shopping at BOBS. The prices are final as marked, no additional discounts. We tried, but no luck :). We like their policy for no extra discount. Delivery charges are not wallet friendly but if you compare it with other stores you will still be on a savings side. Antonio was the sales associate who helped us in BOBS Newington, CT store. You can count on him. We spend five hours in that store and he was with us all the time. Go after him. He is a good guy. You will not be disappointed. I think writing more for him will certainly add value to him but I just to meet Antonio for your needs. I am sure you will be satisfied with his service. I thought Josh was absolutely awesome in everything. His knowledge about the furniture, his carefulness with the order, and it was almost closing time and he did not complain at all. So I was very grateful and satisfied with the entire experience.
I went it and Blanca had attended me she was very formative and she persuaded me to buy a set of couches. I loved her communication skills. If I need further help I ll be sure to go to her. Even all their coworkers are very friendly and helpful
Ron Nystrom helped us so much. He showed us all the beds and made sure we knew exactly which one we wanted. He heard I had some back problems and made sure to make sure to show me the massage chair, he also gave me a card to go to a better doctor. He talked to us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I would 100% recommend Bob s to another customer (as long as they get Ron for the beds)
Josh was the salesperson who greeted us at the door and politely showed us where the Sectionals were that we had come to see. He was quite professional and knowledgeable about all the benefits of each system and fabric that we considered. As well he was very helpful with the selection the good-proof extra care service that was offered to us.. We are very pleased with the service and quality of the furniture we purchased from Bob s and will definitely come back the next time we need furniture.
