I just purchased a Silverado from this company. The staff was very knowledgeable on the inventory and made it very easy to find what I was looking for. They even gave me a fair price on my trade in. My sales representative Joseph Pentland was very polite and was willing to listen to what I wanted. He even went the extra mile help me personalize my truck. He wasn't a "pushy salesman" which made my truck buying experience extremely enjoyable. I would buy vehicles from this company again and again.

In general, the mgr. was professional during the whole process, but repairs for warrantied parts should have a printed description of the exact terms listed on the invoice when you pay for service completed. I asked about this & he hand wrote it on my invoice & stated it was through their dealership, but where I signed, it says that warranties are strictly through the manufacturer. Having a shuttle service to pick you up to go retrieve your vehicle is great.

Unprofessional service staff. Attempted to have a quote for them to reprogram a key FOB for an older Silverado because they have the computer tool necessary to manually program them. Guess what? 3 months later I never got a call back. My truck is still a Chevrolet product, sorry it's not new? Is it because it's not going to make you massive profit margins? I guess charging $100 for .2 hours of labor programming a FOB isn't enough. Yeah, no. I'll be sure to go somewhere else when I'm ready to buy a new truck. Beware, when you buy a vehicle here, there's a good chance you'll get ignored.

I went to Bob Brown Used for a vehicle I found online. I test drove the vehicle but ultimately decided to wait. It was still for sale at a lower price about 40 days later, so I called the salesman and told him I wanted to purchase. He tried to get me to pay the price listed at my first test drive. Second, I told him I had my own financing but he still called me a couple days later and asked what I needed to do for financing. Third, we finally went in to do the paperwork and he text me to wait for the finance guy when I got there. That guy came out and said I had to see the salesman first. We got through it all and it was time for delivery. Fourth complaint, the infotainment center wasn't working but instead of trying to fix it they told me to just make an appointment at a local dealership whenever I had time. On a 2015 Certified Vehicle. Fifth, today, about six weeks after purchase, the salesman called me and asked what he needed to do to earn my business and get me in a vehicle from Bob Brown. I will not be going back to this dealership.

I want to thank Bob Brown Chevrolet, the team in the service department, at the used/pre-owned and specifically Patrick Crane for the help and patience in getting me into the vehicle I needed. Searching for a new/used vehicle can be stressful at some auto dealers but Pat was very helpful in listening to what I was looking for. It's nice to officially have a place I will be a lifer at for purchasing my future vehicles for both my personal use and my small business. Would highly recommended them! Thank you!!

I had tried calling but had no luck getting him so I figured an email would be the best approach given issues details that were needed

Purchased a used chevy cruze from Don Caffrey. We saw the car online and inquired about its availability late Friday after hours and he got back to us instantly! We set up an appointment for the following morning and Don was great from the beginning to the end. We ended up purchasing the car and we couldnt be happier! Don was very knowledgable and helpful and a great guy all around! We purchased the car for our daughter and he spoke to her like she was the buyer....even though her parents were paying. Very respectful! Thanks Don and Bob Brown, your dealership will be highly recommended by us!

I sent an email expressing interest in a certified pre owned vehicle on Tuesday, and received a response back from Michael McNeley right away. I was able to go to the dealership on Wednesday and do a test drive of the exact vehicle I wanted. Michael was extremely helpful in this process, as it was my first time purchasing a vehicle. Michael was able to answer all of my questions and explain every process as we were going along. Prior to purchasing this vehicle I felt that it would be an intimidating process, but after working with Mike, my mindset has changed. I love my new 2012 Chevy Equinox and would definitely go back to Bob Brown to get another vehicle. Thank you for everything!

I inquired about a car online and was referred to Mike McNeley. When we pulled up the car we asked about was sitting in front with a WELCOME sign in it which was very welcoming I thought.
Went on a test drive, came back and sealed the deal with very little BS, no pressure to buy extra since we are not planning to keep the vehicle over the warranty period. Would highly recommend Mike McNeley if you are looking for the best car buying experience ever!

If you want a pushy sales guy, rude secretaries, and none of your questions answered, DON'T come here!!!!!

I just want to say thank you especially to Joe and Chris for helping me get my 2021 chevy trailblazer delivered !!!!!! They went above and beyond to help me and were 100% professional, kind and helpful.

Sad I had to go out of state to get this kind of service...If I got exceptional service 600 miles away with just a phone call order, I can only imagine service face to face!

The service workers are friendly, helpful, efficient . They honored their word for the free oil change when we purchased our Silverado. I am confident that my pickup is serviced correctly, and monitored for problems. As a single lady who drives quite a lot, that is very important to me.

My salesman Mike McNeley did a wonderful job from the first day I test drove a Malibu LS until a few days later when I ended up buying a Malibu LT demo model. He's the one who listened to what my interests were and informed me of the demo model that had very few miles but allowed me to go with the LT package that I really was looking for but wasn't sure I could afford. And Andrew Matheny really did a great job walking me through the options available on my new car to include setting up my OnStar account and Wi-Fi account. I was very pleased with these 2 gentleman along with everyone else at Bob Brown. And I love the car. Thanks.

Worst experience I have had at a dealership EVER. I came in with a car emergency and that told me that because I had a Ford that they wouldn't even look at it. Told me I would have to get it towed, but have me no references or a place to start looking. I highly recommend taking your car ANYWHERE but here.

You can t buy a Crew Cab for under $600 per month. Says Bob Brown. I did with Karl and I had some negative equity. For real. Karl is where it s at.

I had a great experience with the salesperson and ended up with a new Corvette. It is beautiful and all that I ever wanted in a car.

2012 Malibu timing chain guides broke at 32,000 miles.

Was told previously by somebody on the phone that the warranty was due to expire at 30,000 miles/3years.

So, I started the repair project myself until I spoke with Bob Lund and found out that the car was still under the drivetrain warranty. So I put it back together and had it towed over there.

They had the vehicle fixed the next day.

Minus one star because they did not offer a loaner car.

I purchased a 4 year old Tahoe from Patrick Crane. He was great to work with, very jovial yet professional - my style. We made a deal that went quick and painless. I drove away and about an hour later I realized the vehicle had a small issue. I returned to have Patrick address the issue. He pulled some strings to get the truck into the busy service department, where they quickly resolved the problem. At this time, I realized something. I had almost made a decision to drive a few hours away to make my purchase. I am sure glad that I purchased at Bob Brown a dealer large enough to take care of me quickly, and yet local and family owned vs driving out of town and risking how they will handle those unforeseen issues. This review is 100 accurate and true, no fake here.

The staff at Bob Brown goes above and beyond! I bought a 2019 Silverado, what an awesome truck. Salesman demonstrated all the features of the vehicle and answered all my questions. Also I used their financing and was amazed at how great their finance manager was. He took the time to find me the best rate available to me, without pressuring me to death! I would definitely refer my friends and family to purchase at Bob Brown Chevrolet. I was in a collision and my insurance company chose Bob Brown dealership to correct the damage. It was rear end damage and suspension damage. Once the work began, lots of other damage was uncovered. The original estimate was 2 weeks to fix my car, but as the rest of the damage was uncovered, more and more time was added. Scott, the service adviser assigned to me was very good about keeping me informed. He gave me weekly updates. He made sure that I understood what was happening and stayed in contact with my insurance company. He is a great guy. He also made it right after keeping my car so much longer than was planned. Thank you for the great service.

It was a bad decision on my part to visit this place last week despite the suggestion from my friend. Once in the showroom, the receptionist tried hard to find a salesman for us, but no one was available few people who came after us were helped first and finally the receptionist found a salesman to help us with the car. The saleman appeared like he was not at all interested to answer any of our questions about the car or even not interested to talk to us. When done with the test drive, while still seated in the car saleman asked me if I wanted to buy the car. I liked the car and asked if I can negotiate (it was missing some features I was expecting, which was down, but had some that wasn't expecting which was up). Salesman pulled the price tag of the car and said this is what you got to pay to get this car, its appeared rude to me and with the overall experience it gave an impression that he is not at all ready to talk or even expecting me to buy the car. With no option left we just got out of the car and walked away. Few dollars here and there I might have bought the car.

We recently had service completed at Bob Brown Chevrolet. All of the staff was friendly and ready to please. The service department is one of the best in our opinion. We go in with a "noise", they quickly figured out the problem, gave us an estimate before the work was done, fixed the problem and we were on our way. The cost of repair was competitive too! We have nothing but good experiences with the auto dealership, esp. the service department. We drive older vehicles, so excellent service is important to us. Our truck is going on 243,000 miles and still going strong. A few minor fixes here and there. Bob Brown is also conveniently located. If need be, they have a nice shuttle service if the repair job is going to be lengthy. They also have a key drop if one needs to drop off a vehicle after hours. We have used all of these services in the past. Thanks, Bob Brown Chevrolet Service!

Recently bought an older Chevy truck from Bob Brown. Clearly these guys went through extra trouble to make sure the truck was solid. Had new tires and was fully gone through. Joe Pentland and Dave Veter were very professional and knew their stuff. Impressed with the personal touch from a large dealership. Was my 1st purchase, but will not be my last. Worth the trip from out of town for an exceptional experience.

If I could leave zero stars i would. Worse car buying experience that I have ever had! I specifically told Pat that i had an approval for my own financing. And they still ran my credit through 9 different banks. And Joe the finance manager is about as clueless as they come. Lied about everything he said, I went back and confronted him and he was speechless. Spend your hard earned cash else where.

Truck went in for two recalls from GM. I appreciated GM and Bob Brown reaching out to me and making me aware. The 2nd reason for service was a (Service Airbag) pop up on the display. Paid $156 for diagnostic check and was told it was a non branded USB cord plugged in the console that was the issue. After picking up with in the next 10 miles the error was back. I look on the web and it looks like this is a common issue one 2014 Silver-ado's tied to connections or the air bag module. Disappointed paid for diagnostics and the truck has to go right back in and appears this is a well known issue.

I wish I could rate the sales side and the auto service side separately. We purchased a car here 2.5 months ago. It was a used car. There were some problems that we discovered later, but I suppose that comes with the territory of buying a used car. We'll be sure to check every little thing next time. I still think it was a fair deal. We did have a wait the first time we went in despite having an appointment, but once we got assigned to a sales person he was very responsive.

As far as the service side, just to sum up, we've been waiting this whole 2.5 months for a seat recliner, had to call and come in multiple times, and when I finally went in for the appointment this morning, two service reps had a tiff about who would check me in while two others stood around chatting. There also seemed to be a lot of confusion about who was supposed to be doing what ever since we started waiting.

Everyone in the place was super nice, even the two guys who didn't want to check me in.

I have bought 2 new trucks here and have nothing but good things to say. Very large, beautiful store and hundreds of new and used
cars and trucks. My new trucks were always very clean and full of gas. My salesman, Darwin, always had everything organized for me to expedite the transaction. It's an 90 mile drive for me, but worth it. Highly recommend Darwin and Bob Brown's.

Unfortunately we could not agree on a price, however he took great care of me, offered good information, and was very personable and respectful. The atmosphere is very clean and professional, the cars seem well tracked and well kept.

We recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Bob Brown Cheverolet. Our sales associate was named Clyde Birks and I would recommend him if you are in the market. He was attentive to our requests & desires - but more importantly, he was patient and didn't make us feel pressured during the test drive or purchasing process.

I would definitely shop at Bob Brown again and hope Clyde is still there when we are back in the market for another vehicle.

Came in without a reservation to look at a car after I went through the Internet. Mike McNeley was quick to take care of us and I must say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had and at my age I have bought alot of cars. The deal was so good and I did do expansive research on prices etc. before coming in. Anyway, Mike took us on a test drive of the vehicle, explained everything about the lease and gave us all the rebates we were authorized. Before the night was over we were driving home in our new 2016 Malibu. Kyle and Tony were excellent also. Overall just a great experience and will come back and tell others.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Me and my wife were looking for a GMC Acadia for quite sometime! We were looking for months just to get started! Well we go the money all saved up and started looking really good past week! I looked real good on Monday late night 07/17/17 and found one here and another place!

I called Bob Brown Chevrolet and Mike Carley answered the phone on Tuesday 07/18/17 I told him what the deal was that we lived 2 hours and 45 mins away and I wanted to know what his bottom dollar on the Acadia would be and that he was competing with another dealership! Mike said let me physically see if its on the lot and call you back in 20 mins well 10 mins later he called back and said yes he had and with a great price! I told them I wanted to talk to the other place and I would call my wife cuz she was at work he told me to get back to him so he could hold it! Well got a hold of my wife and never heard back from the other guys at all! So I called Mike back and said ok hold it for us we will be on our way around 330 he said that is fine he would save it for us and wait for us to arrive! Also told him on the phone and through text message from my wife all the information we needed so that the paperwork wouldn't be a hassle at all since we had to drive back that night if we bought it after we test drove it!

Mike Carley checked on us cuz of rain storm in Iowa City we told him we were fine and delayed a little and would be there in 50 mins! As soon as we pulled in we saw the Acadia where it had a welcome sign on it with our names on it wow were we shocked and tickled about that! We looked at the outside before going in and no one bug us while doing it! We walked in ask for Mike finally met the man we heard on the phone and text messages! What a great all around guy as soon as we got there!

Mike let us all look around in it before our test drive, then off to the test drive where we wanted him to come with us since so my wife could drive it and he took us on a long ride and then a place where I could as well! Then Mike helped show all the features we didnt know about and test them out like auto hatch, how all the seats went down in the back! Everything on the remote, etc etc real hands on and very knowledgeable! We wanted so he took us back to his office took the insurance card then sent us to Dan Dunham the finance guy where he had all our paperwork ready and had it hassle free like we asked he was a superb! Everything was amazing and on point and everything we wanted! I drove the truck home and she followed loving every minute of her new car! Mike even called us today Wednesday 07/19/17 to ask how everything was, the drive and how we liked it amongst other things!!! Never had that!!!

Mike Carley is an outstanding guy that went above and beyond to make us happy and get us in the car my wife has always wanted! Other dealerships should take from this in that area and in ours cuz hands down the best sales person, finance guy and dealership I have ever dealt with in my life! I would recommend this place, Dan Dunham and especially Mark Carley to anyone! You guys are amazing!

I find it very difficult to car shop for used car's when they dont put prices on car's and I should'nt have to go talk to someone every time I want to know the price on the car I don't understand how difficult it is to just stick the price on the car I would recommend every person that want's a great experience goes to KARL CHEVROLET IN ANKENY THEY TREAT COUSTOMER'S RIGHT AND WILL PUT ACTUAL PRICES ON THEIR CAR'S!!!! Sales men seemed very judgemental and short tempered. To sum it up I went to Bob brown was very disgusted and spent my 30k at karl Chevrolet in ankeny!!!

The experience was EXCEPTIONAL! Everyone was friendly, prompt & thorough. My family & myself have purchased vehicles from Bob Brown in the past & have always been treated well. The consistency of the customer service that the associates at Bob Brown have achieved is amazing. Very few company's are able to consistently maintain the level of customer service that is expected - Everyone that I dealt with has achieved this - KUDOS!!!!!! And I LOVE MY VEHICLE!!!! :-)

I needed my oil changed so I took my 2012 camaro to this dealership, oil change went good. Then they told me that there was a recall on it and to bring it back. I brought it back to have them fix the recall. They told me that the recall was an issue with the air bag so I thought that I should have this fixed. Turns out that the recall was not for my air bag, but the air bag light, which worked until this dealership got a hold of it. They said that they tried to fix it but was unable to because my stereo. They could not tell me why, just used my stereo as an excuse on why they messed up my air bag that no longer works. So because of this dealership I have a $50k camaro that does not have a working airbag. I have been arguing with this dealership and have been told if I want them to fix it back to how it was before I brought it there I will have to sue them. It is very sad that is what I have to do to get my camaro back to working safety. If you value your vehicle I would never take it here!
