I leased a '13 335is from here three weeks ago. This is my 3rd BMW.

I found the car online, came in, put $5k down, signed everything, and left with the car on the same day. Great experience so far.

A few days later I get a call from the dealership that BMW actually needs $1.5k more down. No biggie, I come in, sign a new agreement, and pay later that day.

The next week I get another call, that the finance guy misread the agreement and BMW needs $2k more down. At this point I'm getting frustrated, and make arrangements to come in on the following day.

I come in, and am told that BMW won't cover the optional wheel and body damage lease end plans that I signed up for on day one. So if there are any chips or dents on the wheel when my lease is up, BMW will make me pay $2k per rim for damage (plus any damage to the bodywork). I like this car and don't want to go through the process again, so I sign and pay up again.

I've loved these cars ever since I got my license, but that love affair is now over. My next car will not be a BMW.

tldr; BMW kept changing the terms on me, weeks after I signed the lease agreement.

UPDATE: The next day after posting this review, I received a call from BMW corporate. They told me that they saw my negative review, and gave back the wheel and body damage plans at no cost.

UPDATE 2: Three years later, I turned my lease in. Turns out the dealership had no record of the phone call, and no record of wheel and tire insurance. I ended up paying around $2k out of pocket to replace the wheels, and $2k for new tires. I will no longer be a BMW customer - this was a really, really bad experience and I feel like I got totally gouged.
