You must stay here!! The rooms are so unique! We loved it! Will definitely be back! Everyone is wonderful. One of the best parts is only having to haul that large shopping trip from Bass Pro Shops right upstairs haha

Very epic concept (Only reason giving extra1+ star)
Clean
Very poor customer service.
Attitude from front desk staff(chelsy?) made me sick.
Extra overnight parking fee 12dollar.
The treatment I received was clearly racial discrimination

Don't ever buy this hotel room through 3rd party.
Came to check in at 1pm. Front staff told us to wait until 3pm or they will call us if any room is available. Asked to give us room without view block.
Around 2:30 we saw about 7 families getting rooms. Still no call. I went to line at 3 this xxxxx gave me card without saying anything.
I went to the room and the balcony was blocked by the Building.
Called manager to ask for better room and complain about the early experience. She didn't gave a xxxx
Don't buy ticket through 3rd party.
Nice hotel but management is amateur.

This could of been an amazing stay if it hadn't been for a few things. First, it was incredibly hard to get to with construction. May not have been the hotel's fault but there was no warning nor anything to help navigate getting down into there. Second, there were 3 people at the front desk. 2 were helping other guests. But the 3rd wasn't. Not sure of what they were doing besides ignoring us until we were standing there for 5 mins or more and then decided to help us. She would look up every once in a while but not say anything. That's very poor customer service. All other people working there, valet maids etc were extremely nice, helpful and courteous. I really liked the room except for a few disappointments. The electric fireplace was strictly for looks. Did not provide heat whatsoever. And the tub i was really looking forward to. While it's big it's not the right proportions. Just like a normal tub one ended had to be out at all times. Top or bottom half. And I'm only 5'4"! The tub water didn't get hot enough either. So it was cold in no time at all. The bed was better than the last several places I've stayed at. They also didn't nickle and dime you for everything in the room like snacks etc. Was a unique place to stay though.

My husband and I spent our Christmas here. It s absolutely amazing. We got a room with an inside balcony which I recommend to everyone. The room is clean, beautiful and very comfortable. The bed is super soft and comfy as well. The only disappointment I can share is the fact you only get 1 goody basket no matter how long your stay is. For the price of the room I would think everyday your treat basket and a bottle of water would be complimentary not just the first day. That would be my only complaint. I would highly recommend this lodge as a vacation spot.

This was the worst experience I have had in my life!! If I Am spending the money for the room I expect also the service and the room to be just as described !! Nothing was as said nor was we able to receive from the front desk!! All they could tell us was "ehh"!! I thought I was staying in a motel not in a high end dollar hotel!!
Poor poor service!!!
Honestly u better off staying in best western than at this place u will get much better service!!!

Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced. For the amount of money you have to pay to stay here, there is no excuse for this awfulness. From the time we checked in, things were bad. Check-in was at 3:00 p.m., but it was 7:30 p.m. before the room became available.

When we went to the watering hole known as Uncle Buck's located right at the back of the Pyramid, the service only got worst. Bartender couldn't serve more than one person at a time and you were lucky to get that. After 4 hours of not getting past sobriety, we finally trudged up to the rooms and low and behold, half of our party didn't even have pillowcases on the beds. And some were still in a state of disarray and hadn't been cleaned. Truly unbecoming of such an establishment.

the accomidations and customer service were great. the reason its not a 5 star rating is because we stayed here at the same time as the bowl game and the hotel prioritized the football players over their own guests durring that time

The bed was so soft it hurt my back. It looked like an old fashioned water bed with a bag of fluff in it. There was no way I could get comfortable. Did not sleep at all. Coffee maker in the room was broken, the staff solution was to wait until 8 am and call room service. Vending machine empty, so no water or soda was available. No outlet near the nightstand. Very inconvenient. The chair in the room was broken down too, so there was no place in the room to sit or lay comfortably. This was literally the worst room of any of the hundreds we have stayed in,oncluding the 3 stars we've stayed in when grabbing a last minute room on the road. Don't waste your money by staying here.

Ok, where do I begin...when you first get there it's kind of exciting...its a hotel inside the pyramid, that's cool. When you get in your room it reminds you of being in a log cabin, that's also cool. There are no windows so kind of dark but you have a balcony looking at all the stores inside the pyramid and you can see the fish swimming. That's pretty cool! What is not so cool is all the dust everywhere! I have allergies and yes I got terribly sick!!! Dust on the pretty wood sculpted beams...which would have been cute if clean... trophy animals in the room could probably be cleaned...the elevator door hit my husband and almost knocked him down. Just not excited about this place...I'm at home and not sick after taking medicine. We loved Memphis and had a great time at the Peabody hotel. They have ducks too and a very clean establishment.

First time staying in the hotel, second time coming to The Bass Pro Pyramid. The hotel room we stayed in, was amazing. I don't think I could really call it a "hotel" because it's more like a home. The beds were comfy. The bathrooms are so clean. The shower is amazing (awesome water pressure). There is carpet in the room and has NO smell whatsoever. We will definitely be back.

BUT there is a con, I wish the comforters were thicker.

Was disappointed that we booked a stay at big cypress lodge. And none of the restruants on the property were open!! Room service food was terrible! They should remodel one at a time! Not closed all at the same time!!!!

Very pleasant, very chic, distinctive hotel. However, the fee is opaque, and it is only about 200 yuan, but when you check in at the store, you have to pay more than 100 yuan for all kinds of fees.

Accommodations were fabulous! 3rd floor bar just reopened and was wonderful. But the food was horrendous! Upscale restaurant closed. Burger restaurant only had order and wait at a table with a number and no one had their food. Decided to do room service-took forever, was someone else s order and was beyond cold. Food shouldn t be this difficult for a company that invested so much into aesthetics. Get it together quickly or you ll lose people coming out of the COVID timeframe.

A hotel in a Bass Pro Shop sounds like a terrible idea on paper. That said, Big Cyprus Lodge is one of the nicest hotels in Memphis. They managed to make the rustic, hunting lodge theme classy, instead of cheesy, which it definitely ran the risk of being. The only problem I've run into is that room service stops at the unusually early hour of 10pm, as that is when the onsite restaurants close. If you're visiting Memphis (or even if you live here), a stay in Big Cyprus Lodge is highly recommended.

Listen up!!! This place is AMAZING. From start to finish it was one of the most memorable experiences I've had. The suites are amazing, very comfortable, and super nice. Staff is AMAZING, SUPER HOSPITABLE , even when we left they had bottles of water for our trip.. we are coming back as soon as we can!!!!

Awesome hotel with a very friendly and respectful staff. Amenities are what you would expect from a four star hotel, with a fun bass pro shop spin on the rooms. We paid for the "dino's in the city" package and the products weren't in the room when we arrived but the staff made it right and then some. The elevator to the top of the pyramid is beautiful, and the restaurant on the top looks amazing but unfortunately they weren't serving during our stay due to covid. We will definitely be back!

Stayed in the duck suite, it was pretty cool. All of the staff at the lodge were very helpful and courteous. The room was clean when we arrived and properly turned down the following day. The only draw back for me was the fact that the room had no windows to the outside sunlight. The way the entire building is designed does not allow for all rooms to have outside light. Again, everything was super clean and everyone was very nice and accommodating. We stayed here and drove to Graceland it was approximately 10 minutes away. Also don t forget to go up to the lookout at the top of the building!

The hotel is great, clean and nice, beds are a bit outdated, very bouncy, the atmosphere feels like your in a casino, or a theme park, however you are quickly reminded its just the bass pro shops. I'm not sure why else I'd come here other than one night of curiosity.

Can't brag enough on this place!! Excellent service and a relaxing atmosphere. The food is great! We did some shopping and for family fun some bowling. The suites were super clean and made you feel like you were miles away from a city. We do like getting the suites that have the outside balcony so we could smoke. And the cookies they put on your bed at night are hot and fresh!!

The store is really pretty and the outlook over the city is amazing. The food and service at Uncle Bill's fish bowl was close to terrible. Over priced, greasy, poorly seasoned food and the hostess had a bad attitude.

As soon as we arrived we were met with the best customer service! Then entering our room we were in love!! Gorgeous accommodations! They even had a birthday surprise waiting in the room for me! Room Service breakfast out on the balcony overlooking the store was so much fun! Each day they had a bag hanging on our doorknob with amazing cookies! Location was only 15 minutes to Graceland! We had the best time and will definitely be back!!

Everything about this place is wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay and I dont want to leave lol. We came a little too late for the stores, bowling, and other activities but we are going the next morning. Definitely recommend!

Exceptional stay. The rooms are big and huge bathroom. This is definitely the most beautiful place I have stayed in my life. The staff was very welcoming and smiling. Excellent service. We ate at the Lockout at the top of the tower, the best filet mignon I have eaten in my life. Higher price than the other restaurant but haute cuisine so normal cuisine. The comfort of the bed wow. Quiet and warm as a place. Enchanting scenery seen from our balcony. Experience to live.

Very spacious. Not just the room but even the corridors. The room was well appointed and had a luxurious feel. The bathroom was spacious too and well laid out with two sinks, a jacuzzi, a WC and a large glass cabin shower with a big head. The bed was comfortable and the subtle digital flames on the opposite wall was a nice effect. Check-in was smooth and room service was quick and friendly. Check the revised hours for room service and spa facilities. The deck restaurant was closed at the time. The two issues I had: The walls appeared to be a tad thin - I could hear some boisterous guests and feel adjacent doors closing. Two, the WiFi was rather weak for such a place that too in downtown Memphis. Cell reception was poor too. Side note: You get complementary passes to the observation deck. Doordash/Uber Eats delivers to the lodge (lobby pickup).

Uncle Buck's fish bowl and grill is not a good place to eat! Very poor service. For dinner we waited over 45 minutes for our food. Waitress constantly disappeared.
For breakfast it was just as bad.
Food was not even tasty. We were told that new employees were hired and trying to get into the groove. We were not the only ones there waiting either. But it was Not a busy time.

Absolutely an amazing stay! The rooms are phenomenal. All of the staff from the front desk, restuarants, bass pro shop employees, housekeeping, even the people on the glass elevator were friendly, knowledgeable, and made our stay that much better.
The rooms are gorgeous, there is a porch with rocking chairs for relaxing, the beds are extremely comfortable, the decor is so beautiful, large jacuzzi and huge shower, coffee in the room, and they provide free snacks and water. There is bowling in the building and the glass elevator to the observation deck is a must do!
Drinks and food are priced comparable to the area. Downtown Memphis close to Beale St. is just more expensive in general for food and drinks. A great suggestion for food is the Majestic Grill (thanks Joe at the front desk for the recommendation). Willy in the fish bowl restaurant was our breakfast server. He was always smiling and worked so hard to make sure all his customers were having a great dining experience. I would highly recommend anyone staying here and we will definitely come back!

The staff is incredible and helped with every question we had. The shuttle service was great and really responsive. The room was immaculate and amazingly put together. Absolutely recommend this hotel if you are in Memphis!!

We received a couple free nights at Big Cypress Lodge and were not expecting a lot. We found our balcony room quite spacious and superbly decorated in a lodge motif. From the carved bass above the coffee service area to the rustic chair rails it is evident a lot of thought and care went into the making of the room. However we are accustomed to business accommodations and struggled with the lack of counter space.

The hotel room was beautiful and cosy with an electric firework and wooden furnitures. The bathroom had a bath tub with jacuzzi which is great and well appreciated at the end of your day ! A welcome basket was waiting for us, with popcorns, crips, and cookies. It was a wonderful experience to spend the night in a Bass Pro Shop, however we were disappointed that no breakfast is proposed in the morning.

The treatment I received was clearly racial discrimination! I called the front desk receptionist on her actions, and she laughed it off! The manager on duty "Nile" also gave an insincere apology totally disregarding the issue surrounding her actions. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE in any situation! I know the company has policy on discrimination of such nature yet it was not shown! I will not spend money with Big Cypress Lodge! We work too hard and to spend that kind of money only be treated like second class citizens! They don't deserve the 1 star rating I gave!

The experience was great and a great place to go see. However, I booked a room through expedia and at check out I noticed I was charged an extra $85 on my debit card and when I asked about it the clerk said that was an expedia charge but my account clearly said Bass Pro shop. So the clerk told me to call expedia and have expedia call her but when I called expedia while talking to the clerk expedia said no one answered the phone so I asked the clerk for her direct number and her exact words were "Oh they know our number she's calling the the wrong number" I kept asking for her direct number but she avoided giving it to me. It was a horrible experience. After a long debate the manager came up and within 2 minutes of realizing what was going on she told the clerk to refund me my $85 and the problem was solved. Please check your charges to your card before you leave. This happened to me about 3 years ago but I hope the same clerk is reading this and they should fire her. I had on a purple La Lakers hat

The facility is clean and nice. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly. The kitchen and bar are amazingly bad. Uncle Buck s is too slow for words and the food was wrong more often than it was right. The room service wasn t much better. My wife s Caesar salad had blueberries in it, but her blueberry and maple oatmeal had neither blueberries nor maple. I ordered orange juice with amaretto, then got a call 30 minutes later that they didn t have amaretto, only Disaronno (which is amaretto). At least the fudge was good and the service was very friendly.

Great place. Very nice inside and out. Just about everything you need for hunting, fishing, archery-bows and crossbows-, 4 wheelers and side by sides, electric bikes and so much more..the restaurant wasn't opened at this time. Be sure to stop by and look around.

Hi!

Hi!
We just checked out from the Big Cypress Lodge and while I don't usually voice complaints to companies I felt these needed to be addressed. We were excited about the ability to eat, play, and sleep all in our hotel. When we made the reservations a few days ago we saw that the Uncle Buck resturant was closed for a private party online, they did not mention it when we made the reservation. We were also not told that the Lookout resturant was booked all weekend so we had to leave the hotel for dinner. Not a huge deal, but when we called the resturants they were rude. We also valet parked our car. It was a busy time, but we got our ticket and were told to leave our keys in the car. We dropped off our bags and were walking around Bass Pro shop when we heard that our car needed to be moved. I came out front to find my car unattended with the keys in the front seat still parked in the same place we left it with a valet. Overall our experience was disappointing. The bartender on the 3rd floor talked to her friend on speaker phone and had my husband wait while she finished her conversation on the phone with her friend. We had to cancel our spa reservation and when we told the lady at the front desk our bill was incorrect it was clear she made no plan to correct it until someone stepped in and told her how to do it.
Again, I hate to complain and I normally do not write companies, but my family very much looked forward to this mini vacation away and we were meant with disappointments and rude workers.
Thank you for your time,
Nicole and Matthew Galbreth
This is the email that was sent to reservation several days ago to which I did not receive a reply

The room was amazing! Great attention to detail and so spacious. For the most part people were great. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is the service was lacking the morning we checked out. Room service was slow to bring our card back. 45 minutes after I called the front desk the first time to let them know we didn't have a hair dryer housekeeping came to check that we didn't have one. Took another 20 minutes for them to bring a new one. We waited 20 minutes for a bell hop to come with a cart...we ended up carrying our own bags down. They just seemed disorganized and not surprised at the lack of follow through.
I would definitely stay again, just expect slow service.
