My wife and I stayed at the hotel for a promotion. On the whole , friendly staff, nice and clean rooms, very accommodating, and generally a very nice hotel. Breakfast at the in store restaurant was over priced and poor quality. Dinner at the same restaurant tasted amazing, but took over an hour to be served. I ordered a snack through room service and was charged nearly twice the advertised price. Finally the 2nd restaurant at the top of the pyramid was grossly over priced with food that was very similar to the food served down stairs at the bowilng alley.

Did stay but had a three day conference. The conference rooms were huge with plenty of room for our needs. Service was great, food was excellent and staff were very helpful/friendly. Anytime they saw you in the hallway he/she would ask if you need assistance no matter their position from the wait staff to the chef I passed. Clean, comfortable and excellent experience.

I would give it 5 stars, but the valet system is terrible! We returned late 1 night and a front desk person had to valet my truck. Consequently, the next day, my key nor truck could be found. It took 45 minutes for the valets to find them! The front desk person that night did not enter our key back in the system. Our service at Uncle Buck's was lackluster too. But other than those things, great stay.

Nice place but had stuff stolen from the very pricey room, was basically called a liar by management. I would expect this from the sleazy 39.99 room off the interstate in any town you go to but not here

My boyfriend and I had the most WONDERFUL experience staying at the Bass Pro. We stopped in just to look around as we were road tripping home from Tennessee and decided to stay the night we loved it so much. The room was PERFECT...very neat and clean. We ordered room service and everyone was so nice! We had a few drinks at the top of the pyramid and had a lovely conversation with Lucinda who was so sweet and kind! We ate dinner at Uncle Bucks and enjoyed the food and beverage service! The only downside to our trip was that it was too short...only one night! We will most definitely be staying here again when we are in the area!

Great place, have stayed here two times and have always enjoyed ourselves. Rooms overlooking the Bass Pro store and great service. I highly recommend this over the stuffy Peabody hotel .

Seriously? This place is a monstrosity for tacky Americans. The rooms are absurd. The building is absurd. This entire thing is absurd. If you want to overpay for mediocre food and service go for it. Post all your pictures so your friends can secretly make fun of you.

Started off wonderful with Margaretta taking my reservation. Upon arrival had to look for the valet for 20 minutes just to encounter his poor attitude and rudeness. That service continued with the valet until check out. Upon check out the More

My husband and I chose to stay at this hotel for our wedding anniversary because we wanted to stay somewhere local due to COVID-19. We booked for two nights to give us time to enjoy ourselves, RELAX and my husband was trying to recover from a back injury. I loved our room, it had a screened in balcony and a large Jacuzzi tub. After waking up from the first night, we ordered room service for breakfast and did some shopping on-site. Just as we were about to leave the hotel for planned activities and then lunch, there was a knock on the door, it was house keeping. When I answered the gentleman was surprised that someone was occupying the room. He walked off and proceeded to tell someone that the room was still occupied. So now I m curious, I called to the front desk to verify our check out date and was told that I only booked for one night. I then proceeded to tell the clerk that it must be a mistake because the price that I was quoted during booking was definitely not for one night. She repeated that I only booked for one night. So of course now I m upset. I started going through my paperwork and emails and found my booking confirmation and called back. I proceeded to tell the clerk that I had a confirmation email and she said she can book us for another night but the price wouldn t be the same as I was quoted originally because they didn t have a record of it. I then asked to speak with a Member of Management because that didn t make sense. I then explained to him what happened and his response was, so basically you just want to make sure you your are not being charged for two individual nights then my response was absolutely. (who would want to pay extra for you all mistake). Then it get better, he asked me what price I was quoted I couldn t remember the exact dollar amount but I knew to the hundred. Then he proceeded to tell me that their calls were recorded, then I said GREAT because that would alleviate any further questions. He said I will get it sorted and call you back but we have already booked your room for someone else. So we would have to move you. I hang up and then proceed down to the lobby to look these people in the eyes. I get down there and the manager in the back requesting a copy of the audio . My husband looked at me and said forget it let s just leave but of course I don t want to leave, it was our Anniversary. The manager finally came up with a price that is close to what I was told, but we still had to move rooms but we would be upgrading . At this point I did want to leave but was too invested at this time and didn t want them to think I was trying to get something for nothing. They gave us a choice of two rooms that was listed in a pamphlet with just a single photo to go by. Before choosing I asked the clerk did both options have the jacuzzi tub, she said yes, we move our things and what do you know the room was a down grade, no private balcony and a soaking tub instead of a jacuzzi. At this point I laughed at myself for being optimistic. At that point I gave up. Me and my husband proceeded to leave to fulfill our plans and just move on but as we walked through the lobby I just had to tell the clerk that the tub was not a jacuzzi. She then helped me move all of our things to another room on another floor that was much like our first room with a little more space. I was deeply disappointed with their service and our experience there. I wasted so much of our precious time dealing with that situation. I will never forget that experience.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The rooms are set up like little beautiful cabins, with fake fire in the fireplace. There are balconies looking into the big "city" inside the pyramid. The elevator ride to the glass balcony is cool, as well as standing on glass that high.

Nice staff, clean rooms! Great view of the store from the balcony. The only complaint is our room was sharing a wall with the bar, making it hard to sleep while they clang cabinets and drawers.

One of the coolest rooms we have ever stayed in. Valet parking included with your room. Bass pro shop and Uncle Buck's fish bowl for food, drinks and fun. Very reasonably priced rooms.

I'm a big fan of this place, and I've been telling everyone about it since I was able to visit in April of 2018.

Will make it a point to fly back and stay longer next time. There's just so much to see, from candy stores, to hunting shops, alligators under the lobby bridges, and more.

This place is out of this world, with world-class accommodations. The in-room cookies were to die for; what a nice touch as well. The staff was extremely courteous; everyone from the valet, to the bellman, to the shop owners, to the elevator attendant in the tower.

My favorite part was the bathroom; so luxurious, and the architecture and room decor were like no other; again, world class.

Will have to come back again soon!

Hotel room was absolutely wonderful, staff was very helpful, very clean rooms as well. Only downside was going for breakfast on the first floor where staff was extremely rude, waitress complained she would not wait any longer for us to be ready and forced us to order, small plate of food was definitely overpriced. Would fully recommend the hotel rooms, but not the restaurant. If it wasnt for that experience, would have given the five stars.

Awesome decor, very nice rooms. The particular room we had shared a wall with a storage room, and we listened to what sounded like someone trying to crash through our wall until around 10 at night and again starting at 8 am. I think a different room would have been awesome, but for over $200/night during the week it wasn't worth it. I was hoping the store would turn off most lights after closing and look more like a night in the swamp and maybe pipe in some sounds to go with it, but it looks the same day and night with just no people at night.

Beautiful rooms, however the staff was not very friendly or helpful. Considering that the room was over $500 per night it seems that there should be a higher level of hospitality. We had to call the desk twice to get someone to bring fresh towels, housekeeping skipped our room. Room service was rude when we called for breakfast . But it is a cool hotel and rooms are spacious.

It was our second time stay in Lodge, and it was great again! One of a kind cabin style rooms, steamy hot shower, hot tub, 2 sinks in the bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable!! We got complimentary goodies inside the room, which was nice to have, thank you! Only one minus - was the Uncle Buck's fish&grille restaurant, do not recommend! Its a long story, and i wont share our bad experience. Go to the restaurant on top of Pyramid - better and faster service!! Also, front desk should have silverware for guests in case if needed. Besides that our stay was very good, we will be back!

Must stay at this hotel, loved it so much I had to add more days. Great service, atmosphere, amazing rooms and decor. Mr Jeffrey the bellman was a big help to show us around and very amusing to talk to, he helped us with our every need as well as the other employees and managers everyone was nice. The hotel even offers car service to take you to get food in the downtown area. Its well worth the money!

I took my kids to Memphis for a few days. Spent 2 nights in the Governor's suite at Big Cypress Lodge. Room was nicely appointed but cleanliness is not up to the price you pay per night. 1st picture is a wine glass that was found in the room followed by the larger items of trash inside of it. The room hosted a party the evening prior and had dollar bills in the strangest of places. 1st night one of the jet tubs would not work so we had to wait till the next day for it to be fixed. Room was filled with dust. I waited a month to post this review as I was hoping for a response from the property but no such luck. Its a cool concept, but price range is way inflated for the quality of product offered.

The rooms are nice, but they're not for everyone. If you not looking for the experience of staying in a hunt lodge style room and overlooking the bass pro store, you may want to stay somewhere else. This place is pricey for what you get. Our room is very dark. My wife had issues putting make up on in the bathroom because it was so dark, however we discovered a lighted makeup mirror in the cabinet under the sink so this helped. All in all my wife and I enjoyed it mostly because there was a special event happening at the bass pro shop and the convenience of being right here was worth it.

My Fiance and I popped in for a spur of the moment vacation, and this hotel was BEAUTIFUL. A lot of the extra amenities were closed due to the virus, but that's something that couldn't be helped. The staff were so polite and friendly. The bed is honestly the comfiest thing I've ever slept on. My fiance loved the walk in shower and I adored the soaking tub. Will definitely be staying again.

Great place to stay. Staff is friendly, place is clean and relaxing. The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom is huge. Everything was clean and tidy. Rooms are pretty much soundproof you can hear people next to you or in the store. Room service was excellent as well!

Loved it. It was beautiful. The only downer about our stay was the first receptionist, Kabrina, was rather rude and snotty. Also our room wasnt ready until 3, which meant we had to wonder around after a 6 hour drive for 4 hours. Which was ridiculous.

I surprised my boyfriend with a trip to the pyramid and a night at the lodge. We had a lot of fun on our stay. Lots of close activities and dining, the room was beautiful and the staff were amazing, especially the bartender at the lodge bar (I didn't catch her name, but she was awesome!). I would recommend to family and friends.

We stayed here in May 2016 for one night and our truck was vandalized in the parking lot. Two tires were damaged and flat when we went to leave the next morning, causing us to have our truck towed and tires repaired. The hotel said the parking lot was "park at your own risk" and did not offer us any sort of discount for our inconvenience or any compensation for our horrible experience (except for extending our checkout).

Disappearing Staff at Uncle Buck's! The service was poor. The hostess was missing while waited to be seated in an empty restaurant! We ordered an appetizer that never came. The waitress was no where to be found and is not like she was busy. The foood was below average.

This place was great, a lot of attention was paid to details and all furnishings were high-end. Pretty sure this is a true 4 star hotel. Restaurant on top was excellent and the views were the best

Spacious room with lots of amenities. The view from the Interior is absolutely amazing, and there's just so much to see and do in just the Pyramid. The staff was super friendly (especially Bryon, who checked us in and gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation.) 10/10 would recommend to others!

Our second stay.

Our second stay.
We stayed in the tree house. The cost of the suites is over $700 per night.
Our first stay (summer/fall 2016) was ok, the room was good. They were doing construction work on the exterior which resulted in an extremely loud vibrating noise echoing through the entire structure in the morning. This obnoxious noise woke us up much earlier than we were expecting, also we were not notified in advance. We overlooked it.
Second stay and the reasons we will not return. We and our family occupied two adjacent treehouse suites. We immediately noticed several deficiencies. The first one was dried urine on the top front of the toilet seat. Second, a ring stain inside the bowl of the toilet. Third was debris on the bathroom floor. Fourth was unreasonable dust accumulation throughout the suit (for both suites). Fifth was obvious and unaddressed stains on the carpet. In our previous stay, we liked the bed; so, we were trying to find the manufacture of it. In our effort to learn the manufacture, we moved the mattress, we found significant accumulation of dust and debris behind the bed. This discovery not only grossed us out; but, made us doublethink their approach to hygiene.
Individually, these deficiencies are cause for concern; but, collectively underscore a serious laps in elementary housekeeping. After we made these issues known to the manager, he addressed them; however, it shouldn't take a guest paying over $700 to identify significant deficiencies. Additionally, the manager comped us 10% for the problems; but still, if we are paying over a $700 for two rooms (for one evening), we EXPECT, higher standards than what we discovered. Furthermore, if we wanted Motel 6 standards, we would have stayed there! Big Cypress Lodge, you have fallen a great distance.

Great place to stay. This is not a huge hotel, so the service is incredibly personal and through and through perfect. Rooms are wonderful and the place is spotless through and through.

Way better than I thought it would be. Very comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Kind of different from the normal hotels, but this place really cool. The food was pretty good, nothing special but the staff was great. Always wanted to be inside a primiad. Very relaxing place.

Loved the theme in the room(we stayed in Junior Suite), staff did an amazing job making sure we were taken care of, left a card and cake in the room for my wife's birthday, they also provided free shuttle service to and from most downtown locations.

The sportsman themed pyramid sidled up to the Mississippi river is unique. There is an unfamiliar meshing of the great outdoors with luxury touches. Attention to detail is noticed if you are looking for it.
Housekeeping - unnecessarily loud conversations in the echoing hallway at max volume amongst themselves on a Sunday morning was not appreciated. On my second day here I had to request my room be made up in the late afternoon as no one had come to clean.
Interior King Room - after spending a few days, you may start to feel as if you are living underground and wonder if you'll see your own shadow come Feb 2. You will miss your windows back home like you never knew you could. Apart from the feeling of living in perpetual night, the room is nicely appointed in terms of decor. Comfy bed, terrific shower and tub.
Cost of food on premises - one example, a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast with past their prime grapes and a banana that would've been ripe in another three days will set you back $12.
If you are looking to see Memphis, realize that this hotel is not in the heart and is about a 15 min uber to get to any other tourist attractions.

I'm from Louisiana and just absolutely love Tennessee. We took a vacation to Nashville and on our way home, we decided to stop in Memphis. We discovered this place and had to make a stop here. We ate at Uncle Bucks and it was great. I especially loved the observation deck at the top. It was such an awesome experience. We didn't stay in any of the rooms, but I definitely want to make a trip and stay in one of the tree houses. It is a very beautiful place.
