Seems to have almost everything needed without having much by the way of hidden gems.

Has plenty of comics, staff friendly, the toys, cards, and figures are great but some pricey.

Always need to stop at Midtown Comics whenever I make a visit into the city. I could easily spend hours here alone, but even if I am around for somewhere else, I make a stop to look at all the cool new things they get in since my last visit. Really cool collectables from all my favorite comics, Anime, and movies.

A comic I'd been looking for for years they had it. The worker wasn't even sure that they would but he helped me out anyway and we found it. All in all great selection of comics and figures and anything a nerd or geek could want.

Only for comic fans; Very current magazines and books.

A great choice if you are followers. I will always remember the French comments next to me knowing that I'm one of them and who complained that everything is in English.
So if you want comics translated into French I advise you FNAC St Lazare.

Good place forte DC ans Marvel comics. They even have supers i Nevers Heard of.

Huge selection, friendly staff, excellent overall! My only complaint is that as a comic book fan, my carriage tends to be on the heftier side...how dare you make me get exercise by walking up TWO flights of stairs! All kidding aside, check out this shop!!

My daughter wanted to go. I'm so glad we did. Great food. Great entertainment. Real talent so come prepared to tip! It's well worth it!!!! Go for breakfast to avoid terribly long lines. Don't let a line discourage you.

Excellent comic book store and other typical products.
We find ourselves in a very geek American atmosphere, I loved it !!

I visited this place Last week and search of a specific comic book that recently came out. I asked one of the associates if this book was available yet he tells me that the book doesn't exist. so I go In today asking the same representative about the book and he told me that it is sold out. I just find it kind of hard to believe how these people are working here, And they don't ask another team member if they know anything about this book. I know they have a full list of coming books that just came out so this is very surprising to me and this has to be my 1st real bad experience here. Other than that and there is a whole variety of comics. a great selection and reasonable price and they sell figurines posters clothing ect. Really cool place for comic book fans to hang out and talk about Comics

Comic and Action Figure collectors paradise! Must if you are into these hobby!

Great shop very busy so make a list. Figures are on top floor comics on the first floor. Clothing is throughout the store.

Great place for hard to find comics. I take friends here when they visit NYC. Surprisingly not super crowded despite it being a tourist destination.

Big shop with all the new releases, and all the variant covers. The store location does not carry as much of a back issue selection as the website. Order those online and pick them up in the shop.

Honestly? It's lit. I can't really describe it any way else. The employees seem like they're pretty nice, I heard a few being super helpful. I was just browsing so I didn't ask for any help or need any questions answered. I'll definitely go back though.

So many things to choose from! I came here over the memorial day weekend with my Nephew and went birthday shopping with him! spent 3 hours here and didn't even know it! Great place for gifts for boys and also figurines of Marvel and DC. A bit overwhelming, but worth the trip in to the city.

Easy to reach from the subway , it has three floors full of comics and related merchandise. The staff are friendly and helpful , the store has the latest comics and special editions only available from Midtown Comics . It is open until midnight usually . A great place to visit .

A very enjoyable experience. The employees were superb especially when it came to I needed help with a search.

They're always really helpful and polite. They have a rewards program if you buy a lot of comics and 2 floors of new and old books, as well as all the paraphernalia you'd expect from a bigger shop - like posters, statues, manga, clothes, hats, toys, etc

An amazing selection. Only stopped by once to pick up Watchmen but I might stop by here again. Staff was super friendly and the selection is jaw-dropping. I'm adding it to my list of comic book shops in the city.

I was walking in when some guy just fell from the upstairs window. Dont recommend if you value your life.

Large selection of back issues and graphic novels, they let you read in the store, and the staff doesn't follow me around like they think i'mma steal something

They in a lot of customers. The stairs r very narrow n' a blank to climb. The price so/so. But to get outta Bx. This' 1 of places I'll visit

Lot of comics, figures, t-shirts etc. but I couldn't find the comic book I was looking for. Still I enjoyed my time over there.

This is a big store right at the middle of Manhattan, that's an advantage, you can find almost everything, just don't expect low prices.

Experience: Have been here 10+ times, forcing my girlfriend to come with me to check out new comics and or pop figures for sale.

- pro: has a lot more than comics, including books, art books, etc
-con: organization of the bookshop leads to confusion (for first time goers) on where things could be found. However, workers (who were extremely friendly) were happy to assist at a moment's notice

It has a lot of comics that are very cheap. Ex. A quarter for a comic.

Mostly books, but also nice collection of T shirts, toys.... I got a Mad Magazine too!

Little iconic comic shop, even though they didn't have any of the comics I was looking for at the time.

Large shop, really well assorted. For our parameters it is a bit expensive, but it is worth going there, if not to buy at least to see the richness of the offer.

I visit this store every time I come to New York. Make sure you go upstairs to check out all the awesome action figures.

Fun place for all ages. Took my son and he was thrilled at the chance to stock up on Marvel comics.
