Big Bob's Flooring Outlet - Yuma, AZ Review

My baseboards and walls were horribly damaged when the carpet was installed last Wednesday. The house was scheduled to be listed for sale the next day. Big Bob's doesn't seem to feel responsible for the quantity of damage that was done. I'll be discussing this with them again on Monday. I am highly disappointed.
Big Bob's sent an employee out to the house to review the situation with me. Ted helped me to see all of the signs of the poor paint job. This definitely was not an issue with the carpet installation, but rather the poor quality of paint that had been used.

Jonathan was amazing help when I had to unexpectedly change floors in most of my house. Helped me make the process as smooth as possible. Also, they were most thorough when measuring to give me estimate. They were all very professional and helpful.

Big Bobs flooring was professional and friendly from the moment you walk through the door from the salesman, office staff, contract/ surveyor, supervisor of workers and to the tile layers. The most important thing is the final project. The tile work was exceptional. I would recommend Big Bobs for any of your flooring needs.

Carpet looks great ... unfortunately, my freshly painted walls took a bit of a beating - even after expressing specific concern over this when the installation manager called a day ahead of my appointment (and I was assured they would be careful). Going to have to retouch the paint in the house due to careless installers. Thanks - I love paying to have things done only to have to do them again.

Salesman, Joe, was very friendly, professional, polite, and helpful. He helped us choose the perfect mattress with no pressure to purchase. We shopped at a couple other retailers before returning to Bob's to complete our purchase. Would recommend this outlet to anyone.

Excellent experience with the flooring consultants at Big Bob's and the installer. Do not remember the name of the first consultant who was not available further visits. Caleb was the consultant that helped us make changes to the floor layout and select a transition tile that worked out excellent between the old and new tiles, his help made the process run smooth. Julio was the installer that did a meticulous job in cutting the tiles and the layout. All in all an excellent job. Contact Caleb and ask for Julio to install.

We just had many floors at our home replaced by Big Bob's. Our installer, Lee, did a fantastic job and we couldn't be happier. He was very meticulous and his skills with quarter round were impressive. The staff kept us up to date on installation dates, etc. We are very pleased with our experience.

Excellent job. Workers showed up on time. We had some linoleum replaced as well as laminate hardwood flooring installed. Everything was done to my satisfaction.

We received a friendly greeting as we entered the store. He offered assistance, should we have questions; but did not try to SELL us anything. We told him what we needed in floor covering; he showed us some options that were within our budget. This was a very satisfying, no pressure shopping experience.

I live in a different state so every thing was by phone and email. Nick was quick with his responses, I understood what he was explaining and the pricing was very reasonable. 3 days and all was complete. 10 years ago I bought carpet from Bobs and they were able to pull that old order up even. I paid for carpet and installation for my parents home. The installation looks great, and price was fair...

However, the installers of this company did damaged my parents bedroom wall during installation. I appreciate that BBFO's management took corrective action to repair which was completed by a very talented and kind handywoman named Sandy (I reccomend her for your repair projects, but I am unsure she'd like her number posted).

Buyer beware, although it is in their policy to review the job done, always inspect the area before and after the service is complete. This would be a five star rating had their middle management carried out their policy, followed-up and followed through without giving me the go around upon my complaint.

First sales person was not very knowledgeable (and was not there when we returned to order). Young man helped us later and he was very knowledgeable. Bought carpet for an rv that was stain, water and pet resistant- think that was a bit of an oversale because the installers said it was very hard to put in. But we used Frank's and he did a FANTASTIC job of installation in the rv.

Had new flooring installed. They did a good job. Waiting for an estimate for floor trim, hoping to get it soon because we d like to get it done. Didn t leave much of a mess at all, nothing a little vacuuming can t clean up. The company is responsive and reasonably priced, we would recommend them to others.

So far we've just selected the flooring and reviewed the estimate but we've found Big Bob's to be excellent to work with. Chris was very personable and easy to work with as was Steve, preparing the estimate. Now on to the work itself.

We just had our vinyl installed by Big Bob's and my husband and I were happy with a job well done! Miguel,the master cutter and his co-worker, Ricardo were a good team. Every park model is small, but our floor plan was challenging because of the many "nooks and crannies". They did an excellent Job! Thanks Miguel for coming back so promptly the next day to "tidy-up" loose ends. We went into Big Bob's, just looking for some small pieces of carpet to complete a home project. We were greeted when we first walked in by a wonderful salesman named Chris Hill. We told him what we were looking for and even though it was a small amount of carpet, Chris treated us like we were carpeting our whole house. Just when you think customer service was gone, you meet someone like Chris.

We have experienced excellent service with Big Bob's Flooring! Caleb is always on task with assignment, and Steve is quick to produce the estimates.

Chris was an outstanding salesperson: knowledgeable, quick, thorough, and polite. Big Bob's has an outstanding selection, and we were able to complete our transaction and have the installation done in one week, including a team that would come out ahead of time and do detailed measurements. All in all, it was an outstanding experience.
UPDATE: As the carpet was almost finished being laid in the living room and bedroom , I came in for a peek and discovered it was the wrong carpet. After an investigation, Big Bob's determined that the carpet had been mislabeled from the manufacturer. They removed the carpet they had laid, acquired the correct carpet, and completed the installation on the same day. Great job!

Went to Big Bob's Flooring Outlet with my mom to help her pick out flooring, although with Nick Blair as her store associate, she didn't need my help as she was in good hands. Nick and the staff are extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about all their products. Mom has been doing business with Big Bob's Flooring for over 16 years and have always found the store to be very organized, well stocked and exceptionally clean.

High prices. Played games with our estimate. We worked with these guyzzz for two weeks trying to get a competitive price for our flooring, but they didn't work out for us.

I have used Big Bob's Flooring in Yuma for years. I have looked other places and always come back to "Bob's". The professionalism of the sales people and measuring is phenomenal. The installation of my carpets and vinyl has never had problems. "Bob's" is doing something right because the same sales staff has been there for several years. I would recommend them for all your flooring needs.

Edit: giving three stars now that the job is complete. The field manager and team of Fabian and Javier did a nice job finishing the work and making sure everything was done correctly.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. One thing after another has gone wrong with installing a laminate floor. The installer shows up late. Doesn't have the right materials, the measuring guy said the baseboards could be painted yet the installer says they are plastic and you can't paint them. Doing one room in our house has taken more than 10 hours. Stay away from this place. You are better off going with a bigger brand store. This whole experience has sucked

I'm so disappointed in my experience with Big Bob's! We ordered flooring and were given a date for installation. Then we wanted baseboard and was told that the installation would not happen on December 2nd-4th... Then we were told that installation wouldn't be until December 22nd-23rd... Which meant that we couldn't decorate for Christmas... Why ordering base increased our installation date we don't understand. We've spent several thousand dollars which may not seem like a lot to you but is to us!!! We feel like a bigger job came to you and you've put us off... Don't think we'll be recommending Big Bobs any time soon!

Nick was very prompt in greeting us and his knowledge of the product was superb. We will definitely come to Big Bobs again in the future.

My husband and I have gone to Big Bob's several times over the years for carpet and tiling needs. We have always been very pleased with their products and the service. On one occasion they didn't have what we wanted, but they were very helpful in finding us a dealer who did. Their service is just outstanding.

The installers do excellent work and are very professional. Big Bobs makes more money by oversizing the job so that you pay for a lot of left over material. My last tile job had 2 bags of mortar and 2 boxes of tile left over. The guy that plans the job is using a computer too. I think they either need a new program or the guy needs a shorter tape measure.
