worst! At the time of check-in, the attitude of the front was bad
Even though I was a wife and two, I entered the room and had only one pajama and slippers
The trash of the previous customer was also in the trash!
When I called the front desk
After quite a long time finally came,
It was a toilet paper that I brought in!
If you say that you want them to get rid of the trash, you're going to have a very disgusting face and do it tomorrow!
I can not believe it
Great overseas travel ruins
I will never come again
It is a 4 star hotel
Level lower than Japanese ordinary business hotel

I was travelling in a business trip and was given a room among other rooms occupied by teenagers partying.
It would not be so difficult to allocate guests travelling in business in a better way that they would have to endure these inconveniences.

Staff are quite rude and unhelpful, electrics blew my straighteners up. I don't like leaving negative reviews but for what I paid I expected much better service.
Edit: I'm not the lady from America. Clearly there's a problem with the electrics which was the impression I got when I first reported the power cut as the receptionist seemed to immediately know what the problem would be. When I checked out and she asked if the electrics were ok now, I said they were but my straighteners were blown, she just said 'oh ok' took the key card off me, turned her back on me and walked off. The last of a long list of examples of the service being extremely poor.

Bewley's Hotel is a convenient location if you are looking for a hotel just south of the city. It provides fair budget conference and meeting services.

Do take care if you are parking and have a large vehicle such as a people carrier or jeep as the underground car park is difficult to drive into and is not for the faint-hearted or inexperienced driver

Lovely hotel in a nice part of Dublin. Historic building. Very friendly and hard working staff, clean rooms, very comfortable beds and excellent breakfast. There for a wedding, which was in a lovely room with a vaulted wooden ceiling. The meal was really good and the staff were equally so. Made for a very enjoyable event.
4 stars only because there were no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms and the safe was at the very bottom of the wardrobe, which was difficult to use, when knees are not what they used to be!

I absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were very friendly and always quick to help. The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. They provided us with extra pillows and towels and kept our room very clean. The hotel had free wifi, which is a huge plus. The restaurant was delicious and had a great menu. I just can't say enough good stuff about this place.

A first class service, spacious, Comforting, relaxing, helpful staff, truly a place in which I would much make my mark in regardless it's geopolitical position on the outskirts of the city. Buses and a convenient shuttle service to and fro the airport right outside the door. Cheers.

I stayed in this hotel few months ago. The quality price is very good.
They offer intercontinental breakfast including savory and sweet options.
The location is ideal: very well connected with the airport. The Airlink bus has a stop just outside the steps of the hotel. City bus stop also available just outside the premises. The Dart station is also just minutes walking. All this makes it easier to move around Dublin and the surroundings using public transport without the hassle of cars, driving, and traffic.

Our room was obviously an old smoking room and had a really bad lingering smell of cigarette smoke. It was not a very nice environment to sleep in.
Also the ironing facility was screwed to the corner of the room, meaning you couldn't actually get to it.
The food in the bar took an hour to come.
Not what I'd expect for a room that costs 130 Euro!

Several mistakes were made here, the main one was promptly sorted by the manager. Others we decided to ignore rather than continue with minor complaints involving junior staff.
We had an excellent dinner served by an excellent waiter/manager.

Lovely old building, large rooms and comfortable beds. Not 5 star because the toilet seat was really loose, the concierge said I did not have breakfast included, I had to check and convince him it was and the shower temp kept changing on me. It's a really nice place and there is an amazing pizza place near by called base.

Since this was our 1st time in Ireland. Having a place to stay was a concern.
The Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge made that stay easy and comfortable.
What made the 1st impression of your Hotel stand out, was the minute we got their.
Arriving from the US . We arrived very early AM. My wife was not feeling very well after the flight, and I inquired at the front desk about the availability of our room. Knowing we most likely could not check in till after 12PM . I was hoping to get in as soon as possible.
The gentleman at the front desk was very understanding and got us into a room sooner than expected.
The other great thing about your hotel was the friendly staff, and the proximity of Public Transportation made the stay at your Hotel more enjoyable.
I for one am glad we stayed at such a Hotel that made our stay easy and enjoyable.

We often stay at this hotel when we are passing through Dublin. Easily accessible to downtown and airport (Dublin bus, Aircoach, DART). Rooms are reasonably priced and comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and green, perfect for walking. There is free Wi-Fi to stay connected. We had everything we needed!

A lovely hotel in a very central location. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained. Even better they have curtains that actually keep the light out. Great breakfast with loads of choice. Paying an extra 12 euro for parking under the hotel on top of the B&B price is a bit a pain and I'd feel should be free parking to guests. The experience itself was nice and relaxing. The atmosphere in the clean (with loads of comfi chairs)massively sized bar was only ok. Xmas music playing but barely auditable but on the other side I didn't have to shout at my wife to chat. I'd definitely stay again if I get the chance.

Checked in on a Saturday afternoon, and made our way to our room. Walked in, and the room looked exactly as it did when the previous guests had left. Walked all the way back to reception, and were given a different room - clean this time.
Nice bar in the basement with several screens for sports, good selection of drinks and food.
Breakfast was great the next morning.
Overall it's a nice hotel in a great location.

Very impressed with the standard of the hotel overall and ideally located for the RDS.
My only minor complaint (and it wasn't the Hotels fault ) was that there were one or two families with young children, (One in particular with two young girls ) who left the kids run riot in the bar. Climbing all over the chairs and screaming at the top of their voices whilst the parents just ignored it. At one point I had to pick up a child who was stood on my coat on a chair bouncing up and down using it as a trampoline.

We had to move to the other side of the bar completely to hear our own conversation. But as I say not really your fault and we would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in.
Room decor is a little dated as I have seen others note, but it was clean and spacious.
Breakfast was phenomenal and had the BEST coffee I have ever had.
If I had one complaint it would only be its location. You need to either take a taxi or bus into downtown Dublin, or enjoy a nice walk.

Extremely comfortable and spacious room and I really appreciated the fact that staff took on board the fact that I was staying with my elderly Mum and Aunt and made sure our room was right next door to the lift. All staff were extremely friendly and the meals were delicious. Many thanks! Will definitely stay again.

Lovely new carvery just started the day we visited. It happened to be the same day as Fleetwood Mac were playing in the RDS so that made the place very busy with queues for everything, but still well worth the wait, it was fantastic and would certainly recommend it 100% to anyone

Perfectly located hotel, literary, only a step from city centre. The DART Station is about 100 metres away and the bus stop is in front of the building. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are big enough with refurbished furniture & facilities. It's also easily accesible from Dublin airport. You just catch the AirCoach bus line. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

I stayed at the Clayton overnight to attend a wedd...

I stayed at the Clayton overnight to attend a wedding and a second day BBQ. Overall the hotel was lovely, the location was excellent and the food was great. However, there was a significant issue with the staff at all the touch points during our stay. To begin with, I rang reservations to ask about a late check out. The operator on the phone didn't know what I was talking about and eventually started quoting the room fine at me. During the wedding reception, the staff were walking around with bottles of wine but not serving anyone. When someone at our table asked for wine, they served them and then walked off again. We had to get them back and ask them to fill all the glasses. When the bottle ran out the waiter left and never returned. We eventually all had wine at the table but this was after our starter and half way through the soup course. We got potato and vegetables which were delivered when most people had finished there dinner. We needed to use our own dessert spoons (3) for the potato and veg, and when we asked to have the cutlery replaced for our dessert we were given 1 soup spoon. Our used main course plates remained in front of us right the way through the speeches and were only removed to put our desserts down. We kept being asked did we want tea or coffee, but had not been given cups. In the end 3 out of the 10 people at our table got cups while the rest just gave up asking.

Going to the bar was a struggle. They were incredibly slow to get drinks and there was a real feeling of moving around looking busy but not actually doing anything. Ordering a coffee at the bar resulted in me having to ask for milk and then ask for sugar and then ask for a spoon. One of our group ordered an egg and chicken sandwich. 45 minutes later he finally got it. There were no other food orders in at the time.

I asked at reception for a late check out and the receptionist said that would be no problem and that she would update the booking. However, at 13:00 the next day while we were lying down for a rest, the cleaners came straight into the room. She was very embarrassed and told us that according to her records we had checked out an hour ago.

When we did check out, the girl at reception had no idea how to check people out and had to ask her colleague. Her colleague was confused and started asking her 'How do you not know how to check people out?' The girl did not have an 'In training' badge on so I don't know how she was so clueless about her job.

On the other side, the staff looking after breakfast and the staff who ran the BBQ on the second day were excellent.

For a 4 star hotel, I was disappointed with the level of service given the cost. It really felt like staff were trying their best but the level of training that is required to fulfil their duties was not given.

Very friendly, food and staff were excellent.

Very friendly, food and staff were excellent.
The room was basic, cobwebs should have been removed from 188 and towels enough for three people. There was a little debri on the carpet that should have been cleaned.
Overall the location and friendly staff made up for the shortfall.
