Beaverton Honda Service is expensive and charges y...

Beaverton Honda Service is expensive and charges you for attempted fixes that don t work and then won t follow through when you seek resolution.
They had my truck from 12/18/19 12/20/19 (which I'd previously purchased there) to fix a leaking trunk. They returned the truck to me saying it was fixed and had been tested for leaks to insure this. The documentation I received also indicated it had been tested. However, the next morning the bottom of the trunk was full of water again and has been leaking constantly (I have plastic bins in there now to save my belongings). This means that Beaverton Honda does not have a valid test method to determine if the trunk will leak during Portland rain (if they did, they would have seen it still leaked), and therefore they shouldn t be undertaking and charging for this repair if they can t determine whether it s been successful.
I followed up with the service advisor immediately, sending photos of the persistent leaking. I received one response saying he d talk to the service tech and nothing after that (it s been 3 weeks). This is not the first time Beaverton Honda Service has charged me for work that was not completed.

Not going to trash this place there are some good qualities...However their knowledge and customer service is getting worse..which could cause some one who isnt aware alot of money...not because they are scammers cause they just don't know alot about troubleshooting...The customer service was great before the remodel but now it seems forced and scripted...Maybe they just don't care as much and that's ok..There're not going to lose any money but not going to get mine either..time for a switch...

Larry T. (Service Advisor) provided great help in servicing our Accord. He was thorough and explained the pros and cons with what needed to be done or suggested our options in what could be done. We really appreciated his exceptional customer service and our wait for our vehicle was not long with the additional add-on we did with purchasing a new battery. Overall, this is the guy to go to when your car needs the tune up. Thank you Larry!

I bought a 2012 Honda Civic (certified used car) around this time last year. The odometer reading was about 9k miles when I bought it. When I took it for regular oil change for the first time, I was told that the tires were not in good shape, but it's okay to drive for a while. That was in January, just after three months of buying the car. By the way, I also have a seven years servicing contract with Honda. Recently it became so critical that I was forced to change them. I was under the impression that the tires are still in good condition for at least next 30k miles, if not more. Whereas, the actual condition was so bad that for long time I drove the car with serious danger without knowledge. Luckily enough, they didn't burst on us and I changed them before that happened.
Anyway, when I told the servicing guys that the tires should still be in good shape and it's not anyhow my fault so I should not be paying for the tires, they completely disregarded my concern and basically said they cannot do anything about it. On top of tire changing, I was told that the alignment was totally off as well, so I had to pay another 90 bucks for that.
So, I would say, my impression about them after one year is not the same as it was a year back. I am DISAPPOINTED!

I had Angela Lyons help me yesterday with my car. She was very patient and helpful, explained all the processes and documents I should know or be aware of. While I struggled with insurance, she was willing to go further and help me find one as well. All my questions were thoroughly answered. She was very understanding and kind the whole time. If anyone wants to purchase a car (no offense to all the other salesmen), you all should go to her. Especially if you're a first time buyer or still new with purchasing a car at a dealership, she is definitely the person to go to. And the new Honda dealership system where you stay with one person the whole way instead of going back and forth to each department was definitely less of a headache as well!

I ve purchased two cars from here and have had nothing but great experiences. I ve dealt with other dealerships in the area and nothing compares to Beaverton Honda. Oil changes are quick, plus you get a multipoint inspection...Not to mention a free car wash and a chocolate chip cookie. I m sold!

We had a great experience with the team here. We showed up 30 minutes before close and they worked with us well until almost 2 hours after close. They were all incredibly nice about it. Working in customer facing service they were the type of people I want to work with when I shop somewhere. I would highly recommend to my friends, and down the road when we need another car we will be back.

Had a great experience at Beaverton Honda on August 2nd . Was on a road trip with my family from Calgary, Canada travelling to Newport via Portland and enroute heading on I-5S the A1 service light came on . I called Beaverton at 5 pm and they were able to accommodate my vehicle for servicing even though by the time I got to the dealership it was close to 6 pm . All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Amanda the service manager and Eric the service advisor . The supervisor was patient and able to accommodate us even though it was such a short notice . Even though I was out of town / country the visit to the dealership was a very pleasant experience. My kids feasted on the yummy cookies while we waited for the vehicle to be serviced. And we got the vehicle nice and clean and ready for our trip. To sum it up it was 5 +star service .

This dealership has a different vibe and mentality...

This dealership has a different vibe and mentality than the many other dealerships I had visited during my car buying experience. There was no pressure during the entire deal. They always went above and beyond during the whole process. Robert and Elmo were nothing less than stellar the entire time. I felt like I bought a car from friends, not sales people. When the lease is over I will definitely be back to do more business with this dealership.

He was extremely knowledgeable about the model I was interested in (CRV) and I did not feel pressured into a sale. He made the logistics of the sale very easy. Myke Thompson is the best auto sales rep we have ever dealt with, he listens and takes time to explain everything, I highly recommend him if you are looking to buy a new car. Kelly Parker is the best auto dealer manager we have ever dealt with, the processes they have at this dealership make it enjoyable to buy a car. They did not use a "system" approach but rather listened to what we wanted and then delivered on their promise to treat us professionally. Ell was my sales consultant, and he alone is worthy of a 5 star review. Friendly, professional and through he set the bar high on customer service. Thank you Ell, exceptional service.

My experience was Bob's was also very good. Greeted at the door and welcomed in right away. We first browsed the lot for what i was looking for and was asked what i was looking for and if i had questions. When we reached a decision for a test drive he made sure to track down the exact color i wanted for the test drive so i can have the full experience in the vehicle. He had the specs down to a T, and made sure to go over all the features on the drive. The one person one price really makes a difference, i wasn't shuffled into different rooms or talking to different reps or sales people, it was just Ell, and myself hashing it out. I was impressed how through the process was about getting everything i wanted from the car, and not what he wanted me to get out of it. Everything was laid out in front of me, options were there. Protection plans accessory plans, packages, ect were made available, but never pushed. I found a price listed online and it was matched no questions asked. Any inquiry i had, big or small was met with a professional answer and explanation, the value was definitely matched by the customer service.

Beaverton Honda was the second dealership we inter...

Beaverton Honda was the second dealership we interacted with looking for a used 2015 Mazda CX5. Granted, this vehicle was a trade-in so they may have been trying to get it off their hands, they offered us a fair price right off the bat. We were secured a price guarantee and after researching other dealerships deals I found Beaverton Honda to offer the best deal. Not only this, but there was no haggling nor coercion when I started asking about pricing/financing options.

The consultant I worked with was named Robert Soto, and he was professional and friendly. He seemed mildly inexperienced, however he had a network of support to ensure my experience was positive. Robert was honest and helpful, helping my wife and I connect with an insurance broker on a whims notice as well as helping us sort out complicated issues we had coming into the dealership (coming out of college and transfering titles on vehicles made our transactions confusing).

Freddie Ortega also assisted us in some of our higher level interactions with the finance team and management. He was friendly and had a fun personality, I enjoyed working with him as well. This dealership made me feel at home.

I highly recommend this dealership and am looking forward to my interactions with them in the future!!!

They had my vehicle in the shop on time and provided a loaner when they discovered it would take longer than planned. My wife and I bought a New 2014 Honda Civic here in June of 2014 and had a great experience at the time. No hassle, very relaxed and clear communication on the transaction. A couple of weeks ago I noticed a leak near the rear main seal and took it back in to get checked out. Indeed, the seal had failed (just a bad seal, it happens), but how they responded was great. No questions asked, no paperwork to dig out, they took the car, put my wife into a rental and fixed the issue within 2 days. Nicole in the service department was awesome, communicated wonderfully and didn't once drop the ball. Nicole gave us updates when needed and we left, once again, completely satisfied.

I had a great Salesman, didn't feel any pressure at all, complimentary snacks and beverages at the cafe, but my salesman even paid for my Italian soda. So many cars on the lot so you could hunt around for color, features. All my questions were answered and even though it took about 3 hours longer than I wanted, I drove away in a brand new car. Well, this place is certainly quick to take your money if you're buying a car, but if you try to take advantage of their 5 day guarantee thing and return your car, prepare to wait.

My 2015 CRV was vibrating due to a crappy transmission that is apparently a known issue. So I decided to return my car, and when I did I had to sign a rescission contract then come back the next day for the check. Fine. But when I came back the next day for the check, I was given some stupid line about the boss being out for her birthday, so nobody was there to sign my check, therefore I have to wait an additional day to get my money back. Which was interesting since I'd called and spoken to the finance manager earlier in the day, and she never mentioned this to me. Must have been a surprise party? It's not as though I live in Beaverton and it's easy and quick for me to get to the dealership, so having to go back there 3 days in a row is frustrating to say the least.

Oh and this was golden. When i was visibly upset about this runaround the finance "manager" told me "yea, unbuying a car is almost harder than buying a car." Yep sure is, and getting me to ever stepping foot in your dealership again to buy a car will be even harder.

Should give literally 0 stars. I took my accord for airbag recall and from the next day I had starting issue. I went back a month later because of my schedule. They charged $133 for inspection and told my car has starter issue and it would cost around $750 for replacement. I went to a different auto care near my home and they diagnosed it was ignition issue and got it repaired for $200. Don't trust their service and diagnosis.

My dad and I typically work on out cars so i have never had to use a dealer for maintenance before. I also just moved here and wasn't sure who to trust to check out my car. I went in asked questions they had answer and solutions to my problems as well as future problems. They brought up what should be worked on and what can be worked on and when I said yes to only some of the suggestions they agreed and did not try and push anything on me. I was extremely satisfied with the service and will continue to go here.

We brought out 2004 Accord into Beaverton Honda Service to get a new nozzle for the windshield washer before an upcoming long distance trip. We had been told the nozzle was what was needed and had ordered it, but when the part came in it didn't fix the problem. We were told no appointments were available for this week, and we had to have the car fixed before the trip.. so they suggested we just do a drop in appointment. I brought it in this morning, and they did a troubleshooting of the problem, flushed all the washer fluid lines, replaced the nozzle and fixed the problem. Then they also let me know I needed the rear brakes done - I had known they needed doing soon - and they quoted a very fair price and said they could do it today as well, so I agreed. When I picked up the car they had it ready, working perfectly - and didn't even charge me for the windshield trouble shooting labor since I had had to bring it back to get that done. I really felt they went above and beyond what was expected and it was greatly appreciated.

Great experience at the dealership....no pressure at all for your business. Only thing that was a little upsetting, is the whole military discount pitch. What they don t tell you until your credit is ran and prepped for purchase is that, if you haven t been discharged in the last 2 years to that specific date your buying, then your service is a non-factor! Only reason I gave 4 stars. Other than that...I would recommend you stop by and see what s on the lot!

It is frustrating service. I brought them my car for oil change and it was no wrong with it. After replacing the engine oil I went home to park my car. The next day I found a large oil spots under my car. All the engine oil on the floor. Later after investigation they told me that is not our fault and you are responsible for that !

Salesperson: awesome, not terribly happy that I had to jump and drive from Lynnwood, WA to Beaverton, OR right away on a work night-but that's due to their used car manager.
Brandon (salesperson) was very helpful and communicative! I've done car sales and I understand how stressful and difficult out of state sales are. But he stuck with it! We spent an entire day over the phone going over the car(s), deals, credit unions, etc.
Their dealership is actually much nicer looking than higher end dealerships I've been to (step dad sold Audi, Porsche, etc). They even have a little cafe area and a fridge with refreshments.
In the end I ended up with my first choice of car, and I'm super excited about it!
They offered me over 3x the dealership I WORKED at offered me for my trade (manager of which also worked with my step dad), knowing full well that Chevy Sonics are prone to breaking down.
Brandon made it quick and simple when I drove down, had it all ready and paperwork waiting, etc.

I told him my price range, what I needed from a car, and how much I could do monthly after having a bad experience at another dealership and he DELIVERED. Brian never tried to push me or tell me he could get me into a more expensive car. He was fantastic. Will definitely buy from them again.

My stepdaughter had a 2001 Honda Civic with 178, 000 miles on it. The car had treated her well with no issues since my wife first bought it, used it and gave it to her daughter to drive. However we felt it was time for a new car. We heard great news/reviews of Beaverton Honda. Our salesman Brian Hilgeman greeted me at the door and was helpful from the start. He was very knowledgeable and respected what our needs for a car were. He took the time to show us all of our options to suit our financial numbers. We found a beautiful silver/blue 2017 Honda Civic Four door sedan. My stepdaughter is very excited, and hopes to put 200,000 miles on this new car. Brian went out of his way to make sure we were happy from beginning to end with the purchase. Thank you to all the staff at the dealership. You take the stress out of buying a new car. We can't thank you enough! I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to buy a Honda. You might think that if you buy a new (2017) Ridg...

You might think that if you buy a new (2017) Ridgeline Truck from Honda that all the doors lock? You would be wrong. The tailgate has no lock! ... You might also think that once Honda came out with a fix-kit to allow the tailgate to be locked , that they would install it at no extra charge? You would be wrong again. You can expect to pay over $300 to install a lock on your tailgate...so the moral of the story is: better verify that all the doors have locks when you buy a new car.

Great buying experience at Beaverton Honda

We visited the other nearby Honda dealerships and Beaverton Honda was the best. The pricing at Beaverton was fair, consistent and easy to understand. The employees were professional, considerate and helpful.

On our first visit, Juan greeted and showed us some cars and we went on a test drive. He answered all our questions, was knowledgable and helpful. We never felt pressured or rushed.

We liked the car, but needed some time to consider all our options. When we returned, Juan had the day off and JC stepped in. JC was fantastic to work with. He addressed all our concerns, treated us with respect and listened to what we wanted. The car buying paperwork details were clearly explained and processed quickly.

This was the best car buying experience we've ever had.

Girlfriend took her car in to fix a recall and they quoted $1500 in 'critical' parts needing to be replaced. Took her car to a local Autoshop and after the same inspection the only problem is a $30 brake light.

They literally tried to sell the rear brake pads being shot and needing immediate replacement while the front pads were fine on a vehicle with <40000 miles, LMBO get the **** outta here.

They had the best selection of Odysseys which comes with a variety of features on each van. The best part, though, was getting a reduced interest rate when our salesperson did a little research with the financial expert at the dealership. It saved us over $1000.00 which was enough to make us lifetime customers. Way to go Beaverton Honda!

Don't go here. Our salesperson was rude, totally uninformative, not professional, and apparently even lied to us. Tried to hide everything from us and when we asked questions, i.e. "why does this car do X?" The response was always "i dont know. I dont know this car. I'm not an expert on this car." Not, oh I'm not sure let me get an answer for you? He rushed us through the documents for purchase. Wouldn't let my husband stop for a second to read what he was signing. Rushed us out the door so fast, saying "oh you'll get a call in a few days, bye." Guess what? 3 weeks later never got the call. Had to make it myself, and when I did, he had lied about the fact that we could get another free or discounted key because there was only one. I was told they can't even help me at all with getting another key?? I was really disappointed by the experience and I wouldn't advise anyone to go here. I bought my car from them because it was the perfect car for me from my online research, and the only one in the area with the color I wanted. Not because of any awesome sales tactics.

Won't return my messages, and hung up on the representative at the Dept of Licensing. I am so incredibly happy with my service at this dealership ... from appointment making, to service explanation, to the fact that they don't nickel and dime me for every service imaginable. And I got to pick my car up on a Sunday and leave it for them to service for the weekend.
So convenient and so easy to work with. Really happy customer!!!

From the greeting, to showing us the massive inventory, to completing the paperwork, we have never had a more professional and delightful car-buying experience. Melvin knew the product inside and out, knowing the differences between the 4 separate models. He was very patient throughout the entire process. We traded in two cars for the Honda, and were treated very fairly as to their values. The new car was delivered in pristine condition, and our salesperson explained all features and settings for the vehicle. We would not hesitate to recommend Melvin and Beaverton Honda to anyone looking for a new Honda.

I did not actually buy here but did look. The salesperson did not really know the details of the car when compared to our sales person at Toyota. They did not bother me too much when I was just looking so that is not necessarily a bad thing.

Not too pushy, but my salesperson had very little knowledge. He tried to sell the extended warranty, but when asked if there was a brochure I could take, his response was "I am the brochure." Total fail and a huge red flag. He was able to eventually provide some paperwork, but it was a slimy process. I enquired about the new unibody Ridgeline, but the salesperson looked at me like I was a alien. It was pretty clear that he was OK at selling, but fell behind when it came to the hard questions.

Misleading / inaccurate vehicle listings on their site. Pushy sales person slid thousands of dollars of maintenance into the purchase draft without telling me. Finance department keeps losing my paystub and calling me to send it to them again.

The car (CPO 2018 Fit) was a good price though ($15.0k), and I do appreciate that they don't negotiate on unit price.

Overall, as sleazy as I'd expect any dealership to be.

Brought in my civic last year for transmission seal replacement, they replaced it and next day it busted and all ATF leaked out. Transmission started slipping. Drove back, they replaced it again. One year later, its leaking again. Don't trust them with your car repair. Find another shop.

Great dealership with great people! Was shopping for used cars, ended up buying new after being shown the promotional financing. Drove from Spokane just to buy because the sales team was so helpful! David from Infiniti helped so much and got me in touch with JC. Car was clean, process was seamless! Would highly recommend!

Poor buying experience.
I was strong armed into paying a $193 lost title fee even though I provide documents that were acceptable according to HONDA FINANCE.
I was planning to upgrade my Accord as well but I will be going elsewhere. I advise you to do the same.

The ONLY reason I came to this dealership in a pan...

The ONLY reason I came to this dealership in a pandemic is because the website said masks were mandatory in inside spaces. As a customer with a pre-existing condition I was disappointed to find that there were several customers in the waiting room WITHOUT masks (one woman was even coughing without a mask on). I brought this to the attention of 2 different employees (I was told one of them was a manager). I was told that I could sit in the 'wifi lounge' which was behind plexiglass if I wanted 'more control of my environment'. I checked that space and there was a man sitting in there without a mask on. I ended up sitting outside. It's incredibly disappointing that asking those in the waiting area to wear a mask wasn't a remedy to this situation. Service to my vehicle isn't something that can be avoided. Thankfully, coming back to this dealership is.

I had a very smooth, easy experience buying my new CRV here. Being an older woman buying a car by myself I didn t want an aggressive salesperson and Kalea Sotelo was the right one for me. The managers that I came into contact with (can t remember their names) were helpful and accommodating. Sure, I was in there to buy a car but I ve had lots of experience with aggressive sales people and these were not. My experience here was stress-free. Thank you so much Kalea and everyone at Beaverton Honda for making this a day I will remember fondly. Oh, and I love my car!!

If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! The help I got at Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda was beyond exceptional! Walking into the building, I was greeted by 3 employees. Every employee that helped me was affable. I am a college student/first time car buyer and they made the process so easy for me. My salesman s name was Travis and he was kind, professional, & a quick responder!
