Juan Hernandez sold us our 2020 Honda Civic EX. He was very knowledgeable on all the features of the vehicle and was also able to provide some comparisons with other vehicles. He listened carefully to our needs and offered suggestions. At no time did we feel pressured during this vehicle buying experience. We live in Astoria Oregon and we're able to make most of the deal from home! The finance peorson, James, worked hard to get us a good deal and gave us a great trade-in value for our van as well! Dave was an extremely friendly sales person and very quick to respond to our text messages and I will recommend them to anybody looking to buy a new Honda!

On Labor Day weekend, my husband and I travelled to Portland to visit family and help our daughter purchase her first car. We had all done our research and headed over to Bob Lanphere's to check out a couple of used vehicles. Loved the One Price One Person model and really appreciated the time, attention to our needs and knowledge of our sales consultant, Kyle. I soooo wanted to be the bad cop in this car buying experience, but that role was unnecessary because Kyle was transparent about the models, financing programs and incentives available for our daughter. She drove away in a newly leased HR-V at a price that fit her budget and we flew home knowing she was driving a safe and reliable vehicle. THANK YOU, Kyle, for the great experience and customer-focused deal.

I'm really suspicious when I was here... I asked to check a vehicles undercarriage to see if it was bottomed out it was a Honda s2000 2005 for 29,000.00 . I was told it cost a lot of money and time to do it.. the only way to see and do it was to commit to buying it... I hadn't even test drove the vehicle and it was an inch above the ground this dealership is untrustworthy... even gave me a feeling speedometer fixing was possible here

Belinda was so great to work with! We did A LOT of shopping around, test driving most major manufacturers small SUV's and we found that the Honda CR-V was the best and most well rounded vehicle. And out of all of the sales people we worked with, Belinda was by far the best! She knew that vehicle like the back of her hand and did a great job explaining all of the little details and features. You could tell throughout the experience that she really cared about finding you what you were looking for and getting you a good deal. She explored some different financing options with us that were really helpful in making our decision. Lastly, we got free coffee and a cookie on a freezing day, so that pretty much topped it off! I would 10/10 recommend Belinda and Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda to anyone looking out there.

Great experience as usual. Love dealing with only 1 person and you never feel forced into anything. They well inform you about everything before signing and do an amazing job at making sure we re comfortable. Would recommend this dealer to anyone interested in getting a new car.

Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda is really the worst...

Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda is really the worst Management and customer services.
Once they messed up with my Odyssey, lots of trash in the car and they play with my dash cam, GPS, Radar Detector and my other things.
Today 11/30/2017 I called them asking what is the color of the Reverse Backup Wire under the dash in 2000 Honda CRV? Is it GRN/WHT? They can ask their tech or print out for me the wiring diagram. I chat with Becca from customer care she cannot help unless i schedule a diagnostic appointment and pay for it. Then I spoke with Amanda Ball the Service Manager on the phone and she also will not answer my question unless I schedule a diagnostic appointment and pay for it. Then when I spoke on the speakerphone with Andy Plunkett the Parts & Service Director together with Tim Nelson the General Manager; Andy said will not give me information for free, that information is copyright and will not release it unless I pay. I spoke to Tim and he added that he does not care about the review that I will post and he wants me to make sure that I will spell his name and the others correctly in my review. Honda Beaverton is the worse in customers services and will try to take my business somewhere else.

You are now lying to clean up and shine your Beaverton Management. i spoke with Andy Plunkett, Parts & Service Director about my Odyssey add to that you can read the full review on Beaverton Honda Facebook page. All i want is information (in my 2000 CRV, what color is the reverse wire under the dash?) i spoke first with Beeca, Customers services, she refused to help me. Then i spoke with Amanda Ball, Service Manager and she also refused to help unless i schedule an appointment and pay. After that Andy Plunkett, Parts & Service Director called and wants me to pay for any information that i want. then he gives the phone to Tim Nelson, General Manager and Tim told me to make sure that i will spell the names correct in my reviews and with BBB. i never spoke with Alex Haigh, Marketing Coordinator the one she is replying to my reviews and of course, i understand she is trying to protect her General Manager and the other members at customers services and members of the management because of her paycheck from them.

Great customer service!!! I would highly recommend Sales Consultant Alberto Perez. When we entered through the door, we received a warm welcome. Alberto was extremely nice and so helpful. I found the car I needed for me and my family. Alberto answered all the questions we had for the vehicle. I actually went to 5 different car dealership before Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda and seen 5 different sales consultant and I must say Bob Lanphere's and Sales Consultant Alberto Perez was best amongst all. I really appreciate the manager to come and thank us before we left the dealership. That's a great way to show your customers how you appreciate doing business with the company. Never seen that happen before in any car dealership and we have bought so many different brand new cars before and never had that same excellent customer service we received from Bob Lanphere's. I would buy my next vehicle from this company and same sales consultant.

Based on my personal experience with Beaverton Hon...

Based on my personal experience with Beaverton Honda would indicate that the majority of favorable reviews were written by employees or friends of employees. My half hour oil change took over three hours. I knew I had a small oil leak, apparently they charged 100 just to find out where it was. 45 minutes later, they found it, and apparently a host of other issues. They said they could fix it for an additional 200 dollars, and it wouldn't take long at all.

Two hours later, I see that my car has been moved and my repeated attempts to garner attention to find out it's status were ignored. Finally, after an additional half hour, I was able to get the attention of one of the mechanics who got me my car.

When I took my car to Everett St. Autoworks, amazingly, none of the additional problems they found were there. I left there angry that so much of my time had been wasted, and that I felt as if they were running a scam on me.

Other people may have had good experiences with this location, but on talking to my friends and family, none of them have. Thus I would steer away (pun intended) from this dealer for service needs.

By far one of the most horrible customer service provided. I came to the dealership to get my Honda appraised and possibly sell it to the dealership or trade it in. A salesman greeted us at the door and after asking us what we needed he said he would be right back. Almost 10 minutes later he is standing there at the desk having a conversation with another sales team member. didn't even have the common sense to come back to let us know that it would be a while and or let us know what we should do while we're waiting. After I went up to the counter to check in with them the response I received was not very helpful nor did it seem like the sales team were taking their job seriously they told me it would be 5 minutes. almost 10 minutes later after standing in the cold I did not receive any kind of service or any helpful information so I left the dealership. I really hope that this sales team tries to figure out how to better themselves also on how to properly communicate with customer service. I suggest anyone going to this dealership to do their homework before going there this is not the kind of service anyone deserves

Before going to Beaverton Honda I had went to Beaverton Kia and had an experience that almost made me throw in the towel completely on trying to find an used SUV, the experiences between the two dealerships were like night and day at Beaverton Honda Brian was so nice, calm and understanding. Everything was very upfront at the other dealership they wouldn t even tell me the price of the car I wanted to purchase. He didn t keep us there all day waiting to hear about finances and then leading us a merry dance, he was quick and efficient and very upfront about everything. He even gave me some extra advice that was super helpful! It was a great experience, I m so glad that we stopped and I got what I was looking for. It was a great experience!

Beaverton Honda Service department recorded my car...

Beaverton Honda Service department recorded my car's mileage wrongly and voided my Honda Care warranty coverage. According to the CSR there was no way to correct the wrong record unless I do another service. Beaverton Honda does not apologize for their mistake, neither do they cover the $15 inspection fee, not to mention the time and hassle I had to spend on this issue. Due to pandemic, the ride back service is no longer provided and people who get their cars serviced either have to stay in their service area or go out to breath the polluted smoky air.

Still love my car, but I m updating about everything after the purchase.
I have not gotten my registration yet. I purchased this car in January, it is now MAY. I ve called multiple times, and nothing. No update, no email , no carrier pigeon to even let me know why I have not gotten my registration yet. This is ridiculous. I would not have bought this car knowing I d have to be calling the Title Office every week, MONTHS after I bought my car.

Kyle was awesome. Two thumbs up. He helped us get into a used Toyota CR-v and he made the process painless!! We were prepared to be there for a good majority of the day, but Kyle got us out and in our new car quickly!! He helped us get a great trade in value for our truck and helped get us a great loan. Didn t feel like there were any hidden fees or that we were being taken for . Kyle made this a rest experience for us!! Thanks Kyle and Beaverton Honda!!

I can t comment on the car buying experience here....

I can t comment on the car buying experience here. This review is for their service department. I brought my Honda Fit in because the fan (for the vent and AC air stopped working) they gave me a quote of $850 to repair. Luckily, they didn t have the part so that gave me time to go to a mechanic for a second opinion. Sure enough, the mechanic diagnosed the problem to be exactly the same as the dealer had but the repair was only $350, that s $500 less than the dealer!!! Beware! The dealer up charge is a very real thing, someone has to pay for that fancy new waiting room and new car wash they recently added. If your vehicle isn t under warranty find a reputable mechanic and go there.

Another example: last year I had to replace my windshield and while I was getting my vehicle serviced (routine maintenance) I asked them for a quote on a new windshield and it was $1000! I got it done by a mobile windshield service company for less than $250. See a pattern here?

I ve had a couple other not so good or questioning moments at their service department but honestly this is already taken too much of my time. Just giving a heads-up, definitely get a second opinion before just going ahead with any mechanical repair if your questioning the cost. I bet you save money. You re welcome.

i had set up an appointment days earlier. and called up and confirmed coupla times same day before starting. but when i showed up at beaverton honda, after driving from a long distance, I was told the guy am supposed to meet was not available. No respect at all. I was just told come tomorrow if you want to meet him. I see that they are doing the "make him wait and get him frustrated" stuff,...but well, give respect and take respect,. I dont know about others, but you just lost my business.

We love Beaverton Honda and bought a car from them in the past. Recently our old Civic reached its end and we were lucky to work with Ron Chirrick who helped us find a new used car. Ron was patient, helpful and efficient, understanding that our time was limited and we didn t have days and hours available to go through the long car buying process you often experience. We went to Beaverton Honda to do research on cars that would fit my needs. We met with Elmo, he heard all our requirements and showed us the 2018 Honda Accord. We told him from the beginning we were there to research and not buy a car that day. He completely understood that and never pushed to make the same that day. I appreciated that since we basically lost our time at other dealerships after they were told that I was not buying a car that day. The process was smooth.

Another upside is that I brought my own preapproval and I told him not to run my credit (I ve had the prior experience that dealerships run your credit through 20+ creditors and that just screws your score). He suggested that I run it with Honda to see if they gave us a better rate, which they did (2.9% how can you beat that?!). I am super happy with my purchase. I am happy to have bought my car at Beaverton Honda and my experience throughout it all was great!

There is literally always someone there the moment...

There is literally always someone there the moment you step out of your car, if not 2 people. Its amazing. Their location is walking distance from Target, so I have no prob taking my car in for any service and walking down the street and losing an hr or 2 shopping. Otherwise, drop off and pick up is just as simple. The waiting room is clean and nice. I don't mind being there at all!

We had the good fortune to work with Manuel Madrigal as we leased out new CR-V at Beaverton Honda. I have worked with many car salesmen and consultants over the years and I must say our experience with Manuel rates right up there at the top. He understood our needs, focused in on them in terms of the appropriate vehicle, placed absolutely no pressure on us either to buy or lease, and then when we did make that decision, he did not try to have us select additional accessories or add ons that he didn't think were necessary and would only increase the price.

After our test drive, he patiently explained the numerous technical and safety devices which was most helpful as we are not too well grounded in those areas. The entire process was efficient with no time wasted and he encouraged us to get back to him with any questions we may have. You can be sure we will.

All in all, our experience at the dealership with Manuel was very appreciated and we are happy with the choice we made, which is bottom line. Thank you.

I've brought my CR-V in 3 times recently for routine maintenance and on one occasion for a suspected transmission leak that was spotted when I brought it in for an oil change. When I took it in for the leak, they looked at it and told me that what they had suspected was an oil leak was just some oil build up and that there'd be no charge. I really appreciated that the service techs were honest with me. I also love that my car gets washed every time I come in. It's the little things in life I guess.

I recently got a vehicle from Beaverton Honda, and I must say, I was very impressed with the customer service I received. The associate that helped me, Rob Soto, was very knowledgeable, and helpful with any inquiries I had. Rob made getting into a new vehicle, during a pandemic, stress free. I'd purchased vehicles from other dealerships before, and they were pushy and seemingly dishonest.

At this place, I didn't experience any of that, and I liked the fact that everything I needed to know was all upfront.

I wish I had come in to Beaverton Honda sooner, thank you!

Where to start.... I was greeted by Mike McIntosh. He knew his product and was overall nice but when I said if I buy today will you buy me dinner. He says I appreciate that gesture but I can't do that. IT'S A JOKE YOU WANNA BE CHANNING TATTUM ! The experience was awkward after that and I ended up leaving so an average score for this dealership. I understand being professional but he made me feel like he should be teaching a children's youth group.

First and foremost, I would like to say that our salesman James was great! He is the only reason I am not putting a 1 star. But as soon as the deal was done and we got the car, thats when the second rate service begun. For instance, when we were checking out the car before they went to detail it, I noticed some blue paint on the wheels. Now they ASSURED me that after the detail it would be gone. But lo and behold 3 months later it's STILL on my wheels!! Furthermore, we had to eventually get our sealents done. Beaverton Honda repeatedly harassed my girlfriend leaving sassy voicemails asking when she was going to take the car in to get the job done. They also took it a step further and made the mistake of calling our families asking when we were going to take it in.(my mother in law really gave them an earfull) Now keep in mind, we both work 40+ hours a week and live an hour+ away from Beaverton. Now you might ask, oh well how come you don't just take it to get it done on the weekend? Well, they supposedly only have one guy who knows how to do it at the highest volume Honda dealer in Oregon, who has the weekends off. Which is really the only time when someone who lives an hour + away has the Time to go there and get a 6 hour job done on your car. So, in conclusion, if you want a good deal on a Honda and don't care about abysmal service, then go to Bob Lanpheres Beaverton Honda! Otherwise, just go to your local Honda dealer. Oh and if you do live in Beaverton, go somewhere else.

I'd never buy a vehicle from them, I was approved from my own credit union on a car, and the saleman would not send the purchase agreement to my credit union.
Honda dealer wanted to have me finance with one of their banks which was higher cost to us.
Stand Away.
Should Bob be rolling in his grave with the way management runs his business.

I purchased a used SUV from Mike Macintosh the experience with him was amazing. He did a great job of explaining all the paperwork to me and I had no issues at all. Since there were a few things that needed to be fix I was told I would get a call on Monday and I can pick it up then. After numerous calls to them on Monday I finally was given an answer that it wasn't quite finished and I could pick it up on Tuesday. All in all I ended up with a vehicle I really enjoy Mike was awesome.

I'd recommend for BUYING a car... but get your servicing done from a trusted mechanic. They wanted to charge me $1200 for a repair I just paid $500+ less for a local reputable shop to fix... and were going to charge me $130 for routine air filter replacement on my engine and cabin filters that cost me $30 to order off Amazon and 30 minutes of my own time to replace... and I only had to watch a YouTube video. There's been no response from them on any of the above.

I want to start off by saying I'm super happy with the purchase I was able to make here, with the amazing help of Margo!
It was my first time buying a vehicle and I was pretty scared, not just do to it being a huge commitment on my part but also because this entire process of buying a vehicle was completely new to me.
I'm so happy that Margo was there to greet me at the door and help me till the end. She was very patient with me and informative and she genuinley just wanted to help me find the perfect car.

The entire staff was pretty welcoming and given these times with Covid they were always on point when It came to sanitizing everything down for the next person(just something i noticed while I waited for paper work). Overall I'm super happy with my purchase and I definetley reccomend this place!!!

Brian and Kyle at Beaverton Honda were both super helpful in helping me find a car and trying to give the best deal possible. I was able to leave with a brand new car, and a cheaper monthly payment than I even thought possible!!! They are a solid company and incredibly helpful!

Bought a brand new car here and had to take it in ...

Bought a brand new car here and had to take it in several times because of malfunctions, software updates, and a recall. I called a couple of times and was told I could come in to have it looked at, only to be turned away upon arrival. After finally making an appointment for an oil change and having them check out the CarPlay at the same time, they ve walked up to people behind me without appointments and checked them in before me. My car had a recall with less than 4000 miles on it and I had to pay for a rental car because it took them an entire day to complete it and they no longer offer shuttles or loaner cars. Edit: I appreciate the response, and that's great that you apparently got it done in 1.5 hours, but that doesn't change the fact that I had to get a rental because the staff told me it would take half the day and I thankfully have a job to go to. I've also received numerous calls and voicemails from car warranty scams since buying here. Still not impressed.

I had a VERY good experience and Beaverton Honda. I worked with Adam Brown and Robert Soto....both men knew there stuff and were very efficient and friendly. This was the most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had. Thanks guys!! I love my new Civic!
