I have purchased many cars over the 30 years years...

I have purchased many cars over the 30 years years, and have experienced the gamut of bad car dealer experiences. That said, my purchase of 2017 Accord Touring from Beaverton Honda was the simplest, no pressure experience I've ever had. David Moreno was extremely professional, and handled the process from beginning to end. No sales manager pressure of finance person trying to upsell me on additional programs. This dealership is highly recommended!

First off I love Hondas and have always had good luck at Honda service centers. I took my car in to have my turn signal replaced. It need a new housing and to be rewired back in, super simple. So I made an appointment for 930am. We get their and they charge you a 130$ "diognostic fee" even though I know the exact issue. Ok so they say it will take an hour and a half, alright. We get back and they tell us it will be another hour and total just under $200, for changing a light bulb. I am blown away. Save your time and money and take your car to an honest mechanic. Worst experience ever from Honda.

My husband and I just purchased our first new car. We worked with Pete Young, who was incredible. I never felt like I was being sold, rather that Pete was helping us -buy- a car. He was very knowledgeable, walked us through the technology before we drove our new car home, and even stayed late to help us make our purchase. Very satisfied.

This has the easiest and quickest car buying experience I have had. Manuel was awesome and Extremely accomodating and friendly. He did a great with getting us in our new pilot. I would recommend him and Beaverton Honda to anyone lokking to get a new car. I will continue coming here, they never dissapoint.

This dealership was top notch! Daniel went above and beyond to make sure I purchased the car I was most comfortable with. He gave me suggestions and his advice, but was in no way pushy what-so-ever. After I decided on a 2017 Honda CR-V Ex. The process was so quick and professional. I felt like family by the end of the whole process! I would recommend Daniel to anyone is looking for a new or use car.

My fiance found a car online that he liked and we went to take a look at it this afternoon. We were helped by Jim (there aren't enough adjectives to describe how incredibly wonderful our experience was with Jim. He was super professional and a wonderful person to chat with. It felt we were being helped by a friend rather than a sales person). The car was everything we wanted and then some - and at an incredible price! We highly recommend Beaverton Honda! This is a business that cares about you as a person, and that's rare to find these days. Five stars and a huge plus!

This is the third vehicle I ve bought from Beaverton Honda and most likely the last car. Very disappointing that I was given a trade in value on my vehicle then the day I came in to trade in my vehicle the value was lowered by $1400. Thank you CarMax for stepping up and standing by their offer.
I was also charged $699 for a sealant already on the new car I had no option but to pay for I was told. Not sure if it s really even on the car since the service department keeps calling to schedule the install then they say it s on there when I ask questions. Second time this has happened in less than a week.

In response my vehicle was inspected in person at Beaverton Honda. JC took pictures of my car then emailed me the trade in value. Only after I sat down to sign papers was I told they were lowering the trade in value.

After being offered a stupidly low value for my trade-in at another dealership, I ended up back at Beaverton Honda, were I have purchased five cars from, over the years. They PAID OFF my previous low mileage Honda Civic lease, and got me into a certified Accord without using the hated words... negative equity.

Jeff Holly may have moved on from the dealership, but he has placed his mark of excellence on folks like Junior, Dave, Greg and the finance team. Thanks for working hard for me, yet again, guys and gals.

Had transmission serviced and they did not add the transmission fluid. Had to get new transmission 3 days later. Did not get new transmission here. They did not want to make it right. We faught with them for weeks and offered a free oil change. WTH!!!

They were awesome. I had fully intended to look at a used car but after patiently answering my numerous questions, I realized that buying new through them now was the best option. We worked with JC who was straightforward and gave me up front pricing. He even answered my questions on his day off!! My son arrived this morning and got exactly what we had agreed on, with no typical car dealer shenanigans. If you want to buy a car without stress and games, this is the place! I was helping my son buy in person, with me being out of state so it was more complicated than usual. Not a problem for them. Special thanks to JC and the team in financing. Everyone was great.

I found a great used Honda Pilot ad Beaverton Honda. Oddly though the sales person insisted on spinning a ridiculous story about the previous owner keeping their car exceptionally clean, they just got it and hadn t detailed it yet while I could clearly see that it had been detailed in the last week (shiny everything, not a spec of dust on it). They mounted some nice black wheels and meaty all terrain tires on it to help it sell (also spinning a story that they got it like that) but then did a bait and switch, I can t buy it with those tires, it will get standard Honda wheels and new tires. Oh and I need to wait a few days to get them.

Not pleased with the sales tactics they use here but I did get a great car.

We had the greatest experience with our car purchase today at Beaverton Honda. Ron there was amazingly easy to work with, answered all of our questions (including the ones we didn t even know to ask), was great with our kids, and helped us to choose and purchase a car which is perfect for our family. We were so nervous to shop for cars based on previous experiences, but were impressed by the low pressure (non-commission) approach taken by Beaverton Honda. Hopefully, we will not need to purchase another car anytime soon, but if we ever do, we will happily do it at Beaverton Honda.

I had an excellent experience here leasing my first car. Mike McIntosh did an excellent job of showing me my new 2016 Civic inside and out and not pressuring me at all to make a decision. He was incredibly friendly and ultimately made me feel confident enough to choose Beaverton Honda over their competitors. They gave a me a great price on my trade in vehicle and an assortment of extra special deals that came along with my lease including unlimited free car washes and free Honda roadside assistance for the entirety of my lease! Mike even went the extra mile for me and cleaned the interior of my car! Wow! Honestly, after hearing so many horror stories of dealerships I'm glad I made the right decision and chose them. If you're looking for a new car, specifically a Honda come here and ask for Mike! He will take great care of you.

I first visited Honda Beaverton in January 2019 and wasn t sure what I wanted to buy. ROBERT SOTO was the person who helped me and he was extremely knowledgeable about the entire Honda fleet. What I like most about Robert is that he was never pushy, never annoying with sales calls/emails, and allowed me to make a decision myself on my own terms rather than him making one for me. He was very respectful and polite with a great sense of humor. My husband and I came back in August 2019 (7 months after my initial visit) and had a great experience. Everything was completely transparent and there was no haggling whatsoever. It also happened to be Robert s birthday so there were cake, balloons, and decorations for him at the dealership. Glad we got to celebrate two things that day Robert s birthday and driving off in my new car! If you re looking for a Honda, don t work with anyone but Robert Soto!! You will be extremely happy!

I went to so many dealerships over the weekend and compared so many different cars and I just kept coming back to the service and quality of cars at Beaverton Honda. Freddy was so laid back and easy to work with. NO PRESSURE! Randy was down to earth and I felt like he was really giving me the straight scoop. No BS. Alex was so sweet and helpful and really knew her stuff. I would absolutely buy from Beaverton Honda again! This is my very first Honda and I couldn't have asked for a better buying experience. Such a drastic step up from any other car dealer I have ever dealt with!!!

I own a 08 Honda Civic Hybrid and have been having...

I own a 08 Honda Civic Hybrid and have been having trouble with the IMA battery light coming on and the battery not working. Went down to Ron Tonkin's Honda in Portland, payed $78 for diagnostics only to have them tell me that based on what their "tech line" said for the code that they pulled from my car, I probably need the IMA battery replaced. They gave me a quote of $3,1XX for replacement. Called around and ended coming down to Bob Lanphere's Honda Service center in Beaverton because they were able to beat the lowest quote from all the places I had called (which by the way ended up being much lower than $3,1XX).

Upon arriving, I received prompt and professional service. The mechanics checked out my car and noticed that the software installed in the car was not matching my battery (hmm I wondered why they failed to mention this at Ron Tonkin's). They updated my software, recharged my IMA battery, washed and vacumed my car, gave me a "thank you" cookie and didn't charge me a dime. Since the warning lights on my dashboard where off at the time and they didn't find any other problems, they instructed me to drive the car for a few more days to see if the software update might have fixed the problem and the warning lights will stay off (before doing any costly battery replacement services). Overall I was extremely satisfied with the service I received at this dealership and will be coming back if I have any future battery issues.

Both Nick and Linda provided excellent service. Nick met my request for a 2013 white/tan interior EXL Accord with a 2014 model because he didn't have any 2013 in that color combination but gave me a 2013 price break! He was very professional and allowed me to make decisions at my own pace. Similarly, Linda provided great financial service for me - even suggested switching to another financing company that offered a better (lower) interest rate (1.25 lower). She was pleasant and did not try to hard sell any of the accessories. I received the information and then went home for the evening to think about what I really wanted. I came back the next day and advised Linda what I wanted to include and closed the deal. She was very professional and a joy to work with in completing this transaction...

This was the best experience I have ever had for buying a new car, bar none!

First off, the salesman that mainly helped me out was Adam. I dont see him on the list of names above but I can say that he totally did an excellent job. He took care of me from the moment I walked in. He's very knowledgable of his job and was able to explain to me clearly the specs of the car I wanted. He's really friendly, he even offered to get us jack in a box since my friend whom I took with me was almost starving to death. We declined tho. We just stuck to the complementary popcorn they have on the corner. As far as pricing, they gave me all the break down and even explained each items. In this way, it gave me as sense of security that I not being ripped off unlike a stereotypical car salesman. I exactly knew what im being charged for and they all makes sense. I also spoke with the manager. He's nice as well. Before coming to the dealership I already had a price range in mind on how much I wanted to pay monthly. He was very patient in negotiating prices with me until finally we agreed on a certain figure. And then lastly, the guy that I sat with on the signing of paper works- he provided me with all the information I needed as far as maintenance, warranty, and other options I might want to opt in. And once again, he was able to explain to me clearly these talking points in terms I'll be able to understand. I keep using the word "clearly" cause to me that is important. I need to be able to understand all these vital information regarding my car and my loan terms. So with all these being said, the bottom line is they gave excellent customer service. You. Guys. Are. Amazeballs.

Fast service on Andrews part and he was able to find four quality new tires on sale with installation for under Costco prices. Andrew was able to get a loaner for me so I could run a few errands as I waited. Over board Service!
And the free cookies are a nice touch too.

This was the worst experience we have ever had buy...

This was the worst experience we have ever had buying a car. Complete incompetence. Sales and management were horrible. Some service was required after purchase as part of the sale, after turning it back in to get it done, they took over a week to return it without doing the work. At one point we inquired what was taking so long and they informed us they performed the service on the wrong vehicle. Worst part was sales persons lack of ability to take responsibility and non responsiveness (Robert). Avoid this dealer at all costs.

I went in to buy a car after work. The process and...

I went in to buy a car after work. The process and paperwork took ages and was exhausting. Unfortunately, I bought a maintenance agreement. I don't think I would have if I hadn't been so worn down, but at the time, I figured when it came time to replace the timing belt, it would be worth it. I haven't even reached the mileage for that to happen yet and my maintenance agreement is expired. Since I only got three oil changes on the contract, I figure I paid approximately $300 per oil change. Never buy a prepaid maintenance agreement.

We bought our third Honda from these folks, based on a good experience in the past, but we won't go back there again. Things seem to have changed since they moved from their old location - they are streamlined for pure profit now. We paid cash for a new CRV but it took us more than four hours of waiting around. We had to go and search for our sales guy, JC, who was by this time working on other customers and had apparently forgotten about us sitting in the waiting room. Also, the "one price, one person, get the car exactly as you want it.." is BS. When JC finally got back to us, he had found a "similar" car at another dealership that he could get delivered, but then it turned out that this car had other stuff too - mud guards and a cargo mat, that was going to be another $500! By that time, we were burned out after waiting so long. They got the car delivered the next day, but it was five hours later than we'd been told. Then, they didn't have the side door strips there, so we had to come back to get those installed, which would have been okay, but they said it would take three hours (it actually took four and a half hours) and wouldn't give us a loaner - only offered to let us rent a car for about $50.... The car was given to us without being cleaned up - there were scuff marks on the doors, there was sticky goo on the mirrors and the outside of the car wasn't cleaned. JC didn't know how to pair the radio/nav/phone to our phones.... No follow up for satisfaction even after complaining about details above. We'll go to another dealership next time, that's for sure

I took my 2008 civic si in to get new tires mounte...

I took my 2008 civic si in to get new tires mounted, drove out a few hours later satisfied with how cheap the install had been, $12 a tire! Well good deals come at a cost... It took me about 20 miles to realize they had mounted my front right tire backwards, and it was affecting the steering... So I took it back to them the next day, they corrected it post haste, but between the initial mounting and the remount of that tire, my wheels are absolutely filthy. They didn't attempt to clean a single greasy hand print off of the wheels... Considering I'm a repeat customer with Bob Lamphere Infiniti, Honda, and Beaverton Motorcycles I am very discouraged at such a careless mistake. If I had been a less mechanically inclined person there is a good chance I would have driven thousands of miles with that tire backwards, and I have no idea what that would have done to my steering, braking, traction and tire life. Im going to try Honda of Hillsboro and see if they're any better. This dealership is too busy to sweat the individual, get you in, get you out is my experience.

Two additions to my initial review:
Beaverton Honda's parts department is pretty good, knowledgeable and tends to set your expectations correctly.

Larry Miller Honda proved a decent alternative to Bob Lamphere's. Their service was priced the same but there was a greater attention to detail in the work performed, as well as a few unrequested good will gestures from dealership staff.

baught a used car and the process was smooth and great, didn't get too much pressure. the service was good, people were friendly. so far we like the car! however, just my personal opinion... the cleaning part was not done well... I am not sure if it's normal when you buy an used car and the cleaning is not good. the car has a little bit of dog smell and when we were wiping and spraying the car by ourselves, we found out the trunk was very dirty but since it's black we didn't notice until we were wiping it. we might have to take the car to the professional cleaning place and do a complete cleaning. and finally, we had to ask for couple missing accessories before we left. overall service and process were good, just the cleaning part and the details make me disappointed.

I have a 2003 Civic with an air bag light on. The ...

I have a 2003 Civic with an air bag light on. The previous owner had the bag replaced under recall by Beaverton Honda so I took it there thinking the light was related. Upon arrival, I was checked in at the bottom of the lot and drove up to the service center, where the advisor, Lance Swanson, met me with his tablet ready to start the process. After taking some notes, he guided me inside to the waiting area and let me know someone would be assisting me with my rental soon. Maybe 5 minutes later my name was called and I was handed the keys to a new Civic to use while mine was being worked on. They charge a reasonable $15/day for the rental, which actually wasn't due back until end of business the NEXT day, so basically a two day rental. Lance said he would call me in a few hours with the word on the car. He had a good suspicion of the problem and noted if his suspicion was correct, the item was covered by warranty and there would be no cost other than the rental. If not, their charge for diagnosis is $130. Seems a bit steep, but not the end of the world either. As promised, Lance called me in a couple hours and had good news - he was right and the part was covered under warranty. As most dealers do, they did a multi-point inspection to see if there are any other items needing to be addressed. Remember, most service writers are paid on commission so it's their job to try and get as much work done as needed. I thought the pricing on those issues was really high, but being that I am going to be selling the car, I politely declined the other issues and that was the end of it. No hard sales push.

Again, as promised, he called me early the next day to tell me the car was done and I could pick it up any time. I am currently shopping for a new car as this commuter Civic just isn't for me, but I actually REALLY liked the rental Civic they gave me and I was fully expecting a hard sales push to buy it upon return, but they just took the keys and gave me mine (which they washed and vacuumed by the way!) and I was on my way. Refreshing, but honestly, kind of disappointing as well. I might have been easily swayed being that I had driven the car for two days and really liked it. I think that was a missed opportunity for them. I've now moved on to a different brand. That said, overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Amazing help by Andrew , We were traveling from California to Portland and our Honda Accord started to misbehave. Andrew was an amazing help and took time to understand what was going on. He also understood that we were on a vacation and wanted our car back as soon as possible. He provided a rental ( at a very low cost ) and meanwhile worked with us to expedite the repairs. We had our car back very quickly and it turned out that we were covered under Honda's 7 year 70k mile warranty so didn't have to pay anything out of pocket. Thank you for all your help.

I received help quickly when I arrived, working with one person from test drive through vehicle delivery. Although they tried to express the entire process, we did end up spending a total of 4 hours until we actually left. (It's been 7 years since I've last bought a car so technology has significantly changed, so there was also time to orient to the features as well as help with setting up android auto.) Two different managers checked in to make sure our needs were being met. I was pleasantly surprised with the finance option that actually beat my credit union rate. I also appreciated how easy the whole buying process was, it seemed less stressful than my last buying experience.

Recently purchased a new 2012 CRV from Beaverton Honda which was a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the entire process, but most of all the sales associate Troy Robison was the best! He treated us very well and kept us informed of everything in real time through text and email. Troy was very honest and respectable and this is something that I value when purchasing a vehicle. I would highly recommend Troy when thinking about buying a new vehicle he is kind and very understanding of the situation which in turn eases the mind and makes you comfortable. From the moment I walked in I was treated very well, and they did a great job on my car. They kept me updated by text when I asked questions. The cafe is fantastic and cheaper than Starbucks! Think I'll be stopping by on my way to work for my morning cup of coffee and a snack from now on.

While I was visiting the Portland area my Honda Odyssey van broke down. The closest service department was Beaverton Honda. Boy, was I in luck! From the first call I made to them I received excellent customer service. I wish I lived closer to them to use their service all the time. My brand new Honda van had a mystery electrical problem and they isolated it and fixed it. I could not be more pleased.

Extremely disappointing and very upsetting. My husband and I bought a new 2020 Honda Odyssey van about a little more than a month ago. Everything seem to go smooth with the buying process the salesman was nice and seem very professional. Until... I went to wash my car by hand and noticed a strange spot on my passenger side back door. I called my husband over to take a look at the spot (Who is an ex painter at Canyon Road auto body which is owned by Lanphere Enterprises who also owns Beaverton Honda) after looking at it he said that it looked like there was a run in the clear coat of the paint. He said that this would be a manufacture defect and quickly called the dealership. After speaking to somebody at the dealership they made an appointment and had him bring it in the following morning. He took my car in and had the manager look at it at and then they sent him down to the Body shop who also looked at it who also confirmed that it was a manufacture defect. The manager said that he was going to place a ticket to get it approved to get it fixed And they had to send it to Honda Manufacture. The manager came off quite confident that it would get fixed and we would be taking care of and even offered a rental if needed. Two hours after my husband returned home he received a text saying that Honda was denying fixing my vehicle. I would first like to say that I cannot believe all they did was text my husband and couldn t even bother to call with this communication. So unprofessional. second I highly doubt that it was already denied from Honda The manufacturer within two hours. it comes off as the manager of the dealership didn t even take the time to contact Honda. Then the dealership tells my husband that we have to contact Honda ourselves. I feel very let down that I purchased a $40,000 van with a paint defect and beaverton Honda can t even back their product or take care of the customer and do the right thing. If I wanted a car with flaws I would ve purchased a used car. I felt that I had absolutely no reason to look over the car with a fine tooth comb that had I think like 3 miles on it. plus it was pouring down rain the day we purchased it. I am extremely upset that I have to get the side of my car repainted as it will never be the same and it will never be original from the factory I don t even have license plates nor have I made the first payment for it. Thank you so much Beaverton Honda for such great service and doing the right thing. I hope if feels so good to screw people out of their money that they work extremely hard for. I will be contacting the better business bureau and Proceeding in whatever steps I need to take to get this resolved. I will never purchase another vehicle from Beaverton Honda nor will I ever recommend anyone to your dealership.

Beaverton Honda was helpful, insightful & nothing but kind. I was definitely happy with my choice to purchase a vehicle from them. After researching for best rated dealerships, BEAVERTON came in at #1 and they truly lived up to it. There is no other place I would rather purchase and service my car through.

GO SEE MELVIN. This was unlike any other car buying experience my wife and I have had. I HIGHLY recommend working with Melvin. He was friendly, authentic, and genuinely wanted us to find the right car for our needs. We were well taken care of, and he made sure to keep us updated when a car that fit our needs arrived on the lot. We will be sending our friends his way.
