I went with my family on a last minute booking on New Years Eve. I'm glad we did. They did a firework show and a family friendly party where young and old shared the dance floor. Their personnel is super friendly. We ate in all 3 restaurants fast food with affordable prices and a nice restaurant with delicious pasta.

I am planning my wedding here and just had a fantastic experience with Kiera from the spa! She called to check up on my appointment and was incredibly sweet and helpful, even though I have ghosted their phone calls for months. This establishment is so well run and filled with amazing people to help you, any way they can. I am so excited to be getting married at a place that truly cares about their customers.

A small mountain with nice variety of terrain. Nothing else anywhere close has the on site hotel which is very nice. A bit expensive but worth it. Hotel has indoor and heated outdoor pool as well as a hot tub. Lodge outside of Covid times is very nice.

My son had a lesson with the Kodiak Rovers program. Thanks staff was very helpful, and his skill significantly improved. I was very pleased. I have two other sons who have had lessons with the large group - those lessons were much less helpful. If you can, try and plan ahead and get a small group or private lesson.

Awesome

Hotel exceeded my expectations! Really great price for the quality you get. Rooms had everything you could want, and whatever you may have forgotten (like razor for me!), was available at the gift shop. The staff were courteous, and despite having reserved for two nights, I was charged for only one as I came unexpectedly late due to a significant tractor trailor accident. The food options were somewhat limited, but the quality of the food was excellent--the trail;s end cafe even had good gluten free bagels, and as a celiac, I greatly appreciated that! We did not have a chance to do the trails, but we will plan on visiting again! Great venue for a wedding (which is what we came for in the first place!). I would definitely return for vacation.

We visited for a summer wedding and the facility is great. We stayed in a queen suite which was very nice. The restaurants gaff delicious options and great service. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly even gave us a late checkout! Can't wait to stay again, maybe for skiing next time.

I came here to watch my sister and nephew ski, brought my laptop and absolutely didn't hate hanging back in the lodge. So relaxing and peaceful, and the chicken fingers were incredible . I will be checking out a season pass this year specifically for those 2 reasons ..maybe one day I'll ski?

The most important thing about staying at a resort is it s cleanliness, comfort, and food.
The hospitality here is beyond my expectations. The entire staff was extremely attentive, kind, and friendly. The housekeeping is the same way and they do an amazing job cleaning the rooms. The food was great and visitors were all kind to each other. The bathroom is basic but very clean and I do suggest you bring your own pillow because theirs is hard. No place is perfect but this is close to it. Now it is our family go to spot. I have to emphasize once again how FRIENDLY the entire staff was and that is front desk, housekeeping, and the workers in the restaurants ( The Grill and Trails End Cafe)

Seamless and Professional

Choosing Bear Creek Mountain Resort was hands down the BEST decision we made early on in the planning process. I'm a planner at heart and by profession and still found wedding planning to be stressful. BCMR made it SO easy and asks all of the right questions at the right time.

From a "checklist" perspective, BCMR is a one-stop venue with on site accommodations. They can host your ceremony, reception, after party, AND if you plan it right, your rehearsal and post-brunch as well. I also reserved the SPA and had a whole team of professionals work on my bridal party and mother of the bride. Our family spent the WHOLE weekend there (even those not in the wedding/attending rehearsal) and told us it was a resort vacation in their backyard.

If you're on the fence - the food is delicious and plentiful. The tasting package is included with your wedding for up to 6 people (includes G&B - so G+B and 4 friends/family) and is quite the event. You sit in the fully furnished ballroom and go through the motions of a whole reception. Your table will eat (literally) all of the entrees BCMR offers. This really helps narrow down your choices, and I changed all my plans after the tasting. No other venue or B&G I've talked to had something similar to this, and it usually costs more. As of April 2018 (when I went) this was included!

If you're still on the fence - We were so fortunate to have Lisa Geiger as our coordinator (but i've heard the whole team is amazing). She is a treasure and ON TOP of everything. From securing a date, a rehearsal plan, and even reminding me to jump on reserving "The Spa," I felt confident putting everything in Lisa's hands and taking all of her recommendations. Weeks before the wedding, Lisa is in constant contact checking in on little details and wrapping up final counts and payments. The day before she reminded me that I was missing my favors, which gave me enough time to get someone to bring them to me. She also made arrangements with all my vendors (who were all familiar with BCMR) and assured me everything was handled (which it was, and everything was beautiful).

I also recommend using the Woodland ballroom if you have a slightly smallish wedding (I had 120, max is 150-170). I LOVED this space, it was private, and the Trail's End Cafe is right below for the late night after party. My entire family was able to share the one end of the resort. The other two ballrooms are larger, but also have to share the Grille for the after party.

If you're on the fence, I promise BCMR will not let you down. Even the hotel staff, restaurant staff, and the Spa staff are professional, friendly, and helpful. Not a single complaint!

Such a great experience! I was there over the weekend for a wedding. The staff was wonderful and so attentive. The food was incredible. Every detail was taken care of. I would absolutely recommend this for a weekend stay or for a special event. Loved it!

the managers and staff here are incredibly disrespectful, while trying to find my event i asked a woman for help, she was completely dismissing and utterly rude for no apparent reason, practically shooed me away. on top of that, after getting seated (finally) i found HAIR!!!!!!! in my pasta. i did make a complaint but nothing was done. i am so disappointed, bear creek really has went down hill over the years. i DO NOT recommend and sure as hell wont be back! save your money folks!

Tubing was awesome! Was the kids first time there. Sign in was painless, though we hadn't realized that tickets are limited for each 2 hour tubing session. Thankfully we all made it in the same time frame. The girl at the top of the hill was super friendly and helpful with our daughter who was nervous to go down at first. By the end of the day she was spinning her down! Such fun, will be a tradition yearly! Lucky to have this place so close by!

I purchased 3 snow tubing tickets for daughter and friends and my daughter is sick with the flu. I have been calling and emailing to ask about a refund and finally was told that they do not issue any refunds at all. I find this business practice to be extremely one-sided, mercenary and unreasonable. I had heard such nice things about Bear Creek but the dodgy way they handle this situation has really left me with a poor opinion of this place. I do not remember this being posted anywhere when I purchased the tickets online. The rep said that is was all I can say is it must have been in small print.

I was attending a company departmental event where a continental breakfast and lunch were served along with beverages throughout the day. The food was great and the beverage selection was quite good. The lunch offerings included pork loin, mushroom ravioli, baked chicken, baked ziti, large meatballs and crab cakes along with salad and dessert. All were top notch and I would definitely consider attending another event here in the future.

Let s talk about the horrid stay I had this past week at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. I stayed from August 19th until August 23rd. A Upon arriving at the resort at 3:15, I was told my room was not ready, but I would receive a text message once it was ready. 4:00 came and went, and still nothing. Then, 4:30 I went in to see why it wasn't ready. The front desk assured me they were working on deep cleaning my room, and it would be ready shortly. Our room, along with our travel companion, was not ready until well after 8:00 PM.
When we checked in, please note that we were only instructed on parking, pool access, and spa access, as well as informed our room had been comped the first night and half off the second night.
When I went to my room, I pulled back the curtains for the window and saw there was candy all along the windowsill, and there was a half drunken bottle of tea on the floor. This made me completely disbelieve the notion of a "deep clean." Additionally, our bathroom did not seemed to be cleaned, and there was an almost empty toilet paper roll on the holder. I went to call the front desk, twice, but no one answered. We then went to dinner off resort, and I assumed someone would be in to clean the room the next day, Thursday. Thursday came and went, and nothing was cleaned. I attempted to call the front desk again, but no one answered. I hoped my room would be cleaned later in the afternoon.
Thursday night, getting back to the room I noticed no fresh towels, no empty trash, no new toilet paper, etc. I decided to make stopping at the front desk a priority on Friday morning. Friday morning, I went to the front and notified them my room had not been cleaned and I was completely dissatisfied with my stay. They notified me the manager would be in touch. I then went to my spa treatments (12-2 PM). Upon exiting the spa, I noticed a missed call and a VM from the manager, stating he was going to comp the rest of my second night stay to make up for our dissatisfaction. While I appreciated the sentiment of a free night that is not why I called. I wanted my room, which had clearly not been cleaned, to be cleaned, someone to take out my trash, and give me fresh towels and toilet paper, things that should be NORMAL accommodations at a hotel, especially one where I am paying over $200 a night!
I then called Shawn back, and was told he was no longer on site and would not be available to help me until Tuesday. Additionally, there was no acting manager for me to speak to. First of all, he called me a few hours ago, and second of all, how do you function a hotel without a manager on property? I expressed my discontent with the person on the phone multiple times and the continued to express that my first and second nights were comped, so I should be happy. Again, I am not calling to get more free nights, I am calling to get my room cleaned, trash emptied, fresh towels, etc. Finally, they sent me through to the hospitality manager. She informed me that with Covid, the housekeeping staff was unable to enter my room unless I was staying for over 5 days. I was told I needed to leave my trash outside my room each night if I wanted it emptied. This nugget of information would have been quite helpful upon check in.
Feeling like a broken record, I again told her that I just wanted my room cleaned. She informed me the hospitality staff has all gone home (which was funny since I passed hospitality staff on the first floor), but my room would be cleaned first thing Sat morning and she would be sending fresh towels and toilet paper up to my room as soon as we hung up the phone.
Well, I'm sure this will come as a shock, but towels and toilet paper never made it and my room was not cleaned Saturday morning.
I understand Covid has turned our world upside down, but the lack of understanding and communication within your staff is inexcusable. We wanted to come back in the winter during skiing season, but I can ensure you have lost customers for life

Could be cleaner and better organized especially during weekends. They charge a lot of money for ski lifts and they don't even have warm water in they bathrooms and hand rails and dining tables are sticky with dirt.

Good.

As a meeting planner, I have had the pleasure of utilizing this facility several times for corporate meetings and team building activities. My experience with planning the events with Liza and Laura was a easy and detailed. The execution and hospitality has been flawless. Every staff member I have interacted with was friendly and courteous. My team also was extremely happy with the food quality and preparation and can't wait to return. This Resort is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the extra drive. Thank you Bear Creek!

Been coming for 15 years, we love it here but not happy that the hotel equipment rental is only open weekends now. That is one of the best advantages of staying in the hotel, that should be reconsidered in my opinion.

Great food, and pleasant service. We were there for a company celebration dinner while a prom was taking place in another area. At no time did we feel forgotten. The bartenders were awesome, wait staff was awesome, and the managers were awesome.
Overall, the resort is wonderful.

I wish there was a little more to do for toddlers, but it looks like an amazing park for skiing and snowboarding. The lodge was perfect. This was a great place to meet up with family and enjoy time together.

Visted the resort for a wedding in mid fall. The area was beautiful and the views from the room and the event spaces were wonderful. The wedding was fantastic and food was delicious. Our room was very spacious and even included a pull out couch. The Trail's End eatery was overpriced and underwhelming. I had a juice and a bagel for breakfast that was more than $8.
