Good events, a lot nicer since they updated everything locally. Food in the restaurant is pretty good and preferred to other options onsite. Pretty good skiing for the area definitely not the best in the state or nearby

We went to the garlic and cheese festival. It was held indoors and very cramped. Everyone was crammed together with little room to move. It was hard to get to tasting tables and sample anything. The band was good but a bit loud so it was hard to hear others speaking.
Staff seemed nice enough but the event was not set up very well at all.

My cousin used this place for her wedding back in 2016 and it didn t seem that bad. Never in a million years would I thought I would get married but the day came and as I was planning it I thought about using this place and with much deliberation (and now regret) I chose this place for my wedding. My husband Mike and I want a redo at our wedding. The food was cold and frozen like and seems like it was just reheated. The chicken was hard as a rock and I could of sworn I tasted the freezer burn when I took my first bite. The staff was dismissive and very very very rude. Some of them had a terrible attitude as well when asked for help. You won t believe me as I say this, neither did all of my girlfriends, but some of the staff were sitting at MY wedding as if they were invited and eating the food. As if my experience wasn t terrible already, before the wedding was done, people started cleaning up and I felt like my special day was rushed. Never use this place and their services.

We had a good time at the food truck festival. We wish the cactus blue truck was there but understand they had a brake line fail the day before. Nice to have music, sun and shade to kick back and enjoy.

Awesome experience! We went on a Wednesday mid January and there were basically no lines. They had several slopes to choose from and plenty of fresh blown snow. We brought our own food and gear. The resort is very Covid conscious and enforce mask wearing. Tables inside the cafeteria are very spread out.

Resort is beautiful! The prices at the bar are a bit pricey and service a bit slow but once we moved to the dining room the experience was great. Our table shared a triple dip which was excellent and a bruschetta which was not what you generally expect but excellent nonetheless. We went on Prime Rib Friday and were not disappointed. Others at our table had the shrimp pasta, baby back ribs and kale salad. All dishes looked and tasted yummy. Overall a good dining experience and one we hope to repeat.

Every time we stay we are completely delighted! It has this wonderful luxurious remote feel but is just a stone's throw away from home, which saves us travel and gives us peace of mind when leaving the little ones with the baby sitter. It's a little pricey, but is so worth it because there is so much to do right on premesis that you can stay for days and not get bored or spend extra money on outside things to do.

Clean, safe, picturesque. Great getaway. Large, heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, nice rooms, outdoor putting green, indoor hot tub, two hot tubs outside. Emphasis on clean. Upscale atmosphere for not too much money. All this coming from someone who doesn't like hotels. Amazing facility, great venue for getaway, family events like weddings, etc. Nice workout room and play area for kids. Plenty of activities to keep kids busy. Would recommend to everyone, young, old, rich and thrifty.

This was a mini ski trip for my husband and I. We both have very busy lives and needed a little get away even if it was for a day. We decided to try out the ski classes, mostly for myself because I've never skied before. The most memorable part of the trip for me was this young Instructor by the name of Justin Riddle. He took the time to work with me and to help instill in me the confidence that I needed in order to ski. I'm not a spring chicken, so getting hurt scares me. He reassured me and answered all of my questions. I'll be sure to bring the rest of the family for lessons. Justin is the best!!

Can't say enough good things about the resort. Winter or summer its a wonderful get a way close to home. The restaurant/ pub could have a better menu. Can't say the food is great. My husband loves the food there but I do not.

The resort was really nice. We visited on the offseason for skiing so it wasn't crowded at all. The pools were nice and the grounds were beautiful. We took evening walks around the property and really enjoyed ourselves. The kids want to go back during ski season.

If you are in any way an experienced skier/snowboarder, don t waste your time on this mountain. I paid $60, but after 2 runs, I left. The trails are extremely easy, short, and crowded with falling newbies. I really think this could be a great mountain for beginners, but experienced riders- don t waste your money or time.

Nice atmosphere, but overpriced considering the small size of the slopes. Food is very over priced, and not available after 10:30pm, but is really decent depending on which restaurant you eat in. Paid $4 for an 8 Oz Gatorade in the lower end cafeteria.

The ski school is horrible, kids didnt learn anything at all. The place is overcrowded(there are thousands of people) the parking is insanely far so we gad to trek 0.6 mules eith all the equipment, and no shuttle ever came. The staff sucks and are not helpful at all. This is the worst ski resort ive ever been in, even blue mountain is much better, and I will never come back again. EVER.

When to the garlic and cheese festival at bear Creek mountain. It was a great day. A lot of venders from around the country was there. My favorite was the Alpine winery. They made this great wine that tasted like cold/warm (I know warm wine rit. I was hesitant at first too) apple cider wine.

This skiing mountain is so close that it's hard for us to stay away. I remember coming here when it was Doe and it's unrecognizable. The lodge is beautiful. While hardly brand-new, the building is in excellent shape. It can't be easy to maintain a building full of people with ski boots, but the lodge is beautiful. The mountain itself has a great variety of slopes. There are plenty of beginner to intermediate slopes as you would expect of a mountain this far south, but they have a few steep black-diamonds with bumps if you want to try something more challenging. The only down-side is that it is popular and we have driven here only to see huge lines and drive back home.

Good local ski area, great for begginers to intermediate. Pretty good slope selection, nothing very long or interesting but bear isn't for experts. The lodge is probably the best ever, great view of the slopes, lots of room and light.

Too small for some people. I like it. Staff is pretty helpful. The lodge is nice. The food is great. Store is pretty awesome for a small Mountain. There are much bigger better mountains to go to but this place is one of my favorites.

Off season at a ski area. Nice, big Lodge with few people. Tennis, pools, hot tubs, exercise room, hiking trails, ax throwing, frisbee golf all at a very reasonable price (breakfast included). Good place for a meeting, graduation or wedding in the off season. Friendly staff, great food.
