Bear Creek Mountain Resort Reviews

The customer service in the spa leaves much to be desired. They seem to have no idea how to schedule for multiple clients. My friends and I had our day ruined by their carelessness.

Would be 5, but snow, er the slush got slushy. Need a good snow storm and some freezing weather.

It has a great atmosphere and view! Good time in the summer and the winter!

Always a great time. Covid protocols are in place and never had a concern for my family s safety. Staff are helpful and polite. My family loves it here.

Very clean and updated accommodations. Plenty of table space in the dining area. Slopes are fairly easy. There was not any moguls that I saw nor were the slopes particularly steep. Staff is very friendly and more than willing to help.

We took our son for his first time skiing. He did a private lesson and had a great time. We will be back.

Wonderful resort. Ski in, ski out. Beautiful accomodations and staff. Will come back again!!

The resort is very nice and maintained very well. Service was great. Only complaint is the cost of the lift tickets. Definitely too high for the size of the mountain. Bring the cost down I would definitely go more.

Good Place to hang out for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of a city.
Nice swimming pools and hot tubs which you can use at any time during the day. Ping pong table present. Spa was clean.
Given four stars for the price of one room. Requested for a room with a mountain view which was not given.
Overall, nice location.

Nice slopes. The lifts don't have bars to rest your skis on though. You have no idea that you will miss those till they aren't there.

Beautiful hotel! Very clean, very friendly and awesome food! The pool is outside and available all yr long (heated). Also a pool indoors with a hot tub. Very relaxing atmosphere.

I attended a wedding here and it was lovely. The resort is beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

Accommodations were superb! Grounds and amenities were perfect. Wine fest on field annex was well-organized and enjoyable. The two small problems we encountered are as follows: 1. When asked if there would be food "included" in the wine fest ticket price, the Concierge assured us there would be.Yes, there was....some sample pickles, pretzels and cheese bits. Otherwise, food at the fest was for purchase only. 2. We could find NO published indication of the hours for the main restaurant, only to arrive ten minutes after closing. No in-room information booklet, no advertisements in the elevator as is found most other places. When we finally returned to our room late at night, we noticed a small laminated placard standing on a hall table opposite the elevator door which indicated the hours. Sorry we did not take time to bend down and read that before.

I had a football end of season banquet here. The place looks amazing. I was here once before but I must have been in a different part. The bartenders were great. The place was clean and up to par. The only issue I experienced was the wait staff. They were so rude and clearly hated their job. A simple question was met with the same angry face like she couldn't believe I had the nerve to even ask her a question. I certainly hope this was a one off experience. I know I could very well end up back here for another event just hopefully a much improved staff.

Awsome place to hang out with friends and family. Not alot to do after hours. Would be great to have a after hours spot.

Hit the slopes at 10am and had 11 runs in by 1:00pm. Conditions were perfect, a wonderful day at Bear Creek.

The room we stayed on was spacious enough that all four of us could feel we had room. The lobby, with its fireplace and view of the slopes,was a wonderful place to come early in the morning fir prayer. The food was ex cel lent! The people who helped were very nice kudos to Matthew, who was so friendly and drove the shuttle so I could get my things out to my car!! The big room was a great place to hear the worship and the speaker. I would love to come back again for our next retreat. Good job, Bear Creek!

I went to The Spa at Bear Creek this past weekend and I always enjoy myself there!! The best service and they are so friendly. It is such a great relaxing time at the Spa. Everyone is so nice! Kate & Nesma did a GREAT job on the Mani/Pedi :) This is the place to go!!!!!!

Here at a Cannondale bike show..a nice Ski area and convention center.

Great place for off site meetings. Fireside room was perfect for 10 person meeting.

This place is amazing i love it so much. I been going for years will keep going for years to come. Staff is great friendly and very helpful and they are all practicing safe protocol for covid.

The sky slopes are very fast and fun, and the chair lifts are pretty comfortable.

This place is spectacular, usually visit once a week in the winter. Always great food and drinks! The rooms are very nice also!

Slopes are great! For beginners they are very nive and wide, blu one are great too, I just wish they would be longer.. didn't go on diamonds, so can't tell anything about that yet.

We stayed at the resort the weekend of the wedding. The room was great and it was so nice to stay where the wedding was held. Everything we had to eat was AMAZING! The hors d'oeuvres were fabulous. I'd love to get the recipe for the shrimp pasta it was my favorite of the whole night. All of the staff members were great. They were very attentive and helpful. All in all we'd definitely come back even though we live 5 hours away!

Great place for a day trip on the slopes, a high school reunion, and a wedding. Been here for all of the above and had a great time at all of them.

Was here (Fall 2019) for a medical presentation by St. Luke's. The acoustics in the room were terrible for such an event. Could hardly hear any of the people speaking. The resort also catered the meal and that was disappointing. Can't remember ever not liking a piece of chocolate cake for dessert till being served here. Not what we expected from Bear Creek Mountain Resort.

P.S. In response just wanted to add this was a couple months ago...was just asked recently to review. Just so you know this didn't happen just a day ago.

Great ski resort, manageable size, fire tables outside on a big deck and terrace.

Very nice resort for any season . We visited for fall / Labor Day but for sure is equally good any season. From pools ( amazing outdoor and cozy indoor) , to jacuzzi indoor and outdoor, golf , kayaking, paddle boards, tennis/ basketball courts, play grounds , hiking, biking ... you name it. Great place for wedding and other events as well great halls for conference . Everything to keep you busy throughout your stay . Will be back in winter for more fun.

This was such a beautiful venue! The staff was pleasant and attending, the food was great, and the view from the ballroom was exquisite!

My wife and I stayed here for a late summer wedding. We were very happy with the beautiful hotel, the food, service, and pool. I would highly suggest this as a venue for an event or for a hotel stay. The food at the event was mediocre, but the cafe for was good.

Great ski conditions and wasn't too busy on a weekday. Staff was friendly and I would definitely go back. The mountain is small, but everything kept clear and moving during my day.

I have always gone here because it was close by. But sadly the mountain is a bit small and gets dull quickly.

Great place! Great for all types of levels! Great place to learn how to use the terrain park equipment go on the family park/trail.

Very fun day with my three kids and there spouse's and 8 grandkids very nice people and the help was great thank you

Great place to hit the slopes with the family. Stay right on the slopes and relax in a hot tub while the flakes fall.

Only been there once to buy a gift card, but staff was wonderful and invited us to go anywhere we wanted. Want to go back and possibly stay overnight in the summer. Beautiful views

Great experience! I got ski lessons here. There was a mix up and they resolved it quickly and then some. My instructor was kind and attentive!

Fun skiing. Little icy but with the weather that is expected. Great day overall!

Bear Creek is a wonderful place to take your family, especially if they are young and are not yet ready for the "big mountains". The staff is 100% friendly, knowledgeable and professional and the ski trails are well maintained. We will definitely be back :)

Great hiking trails in the off-season, my dogs love to play in the stream. Mountain is on the smaller side but enjoy going off peak
