The WORST hotel I've ever been to in Myrtle Beach. Stayed in suites 1009 A and B. There was no air conditioning in the elevators or hallways. The trash near the elevators overflowed for days. The rooms were disgusting upon arrival (food from prior stay(s) on bedrooms and kitchen floors). Housekeeping was extremely poor to the point that my husband swept and vacuumed while they 'cleaned' other areas. Only thing that houskeeping did do well, without specifically being asked, was bring in fresh towels. There were multiple German cockroaches in both rooms (picture is of one on wall), they were spotted the 1st night and we immediately alerted the front desk with proof. The hotel had nothing else available in the size room we needed so, the only thing that was done was to have an exterminator come spray. Manager openly admitted to the pests being an issue recently; He tried to say it began once construction started next store. Meanwhile, I held my 10 month old for the entire week because I refused to put her down on the floor to crawl around on. The fire department arrived mid stay and left me and many others waiting outside for approximately one hour due to a false alarm. What I received for this horrible stay beside a ruined 'vacation' was one night reimbursement out of 7 (something is better than nothing). Disappointment with this facility is an understatement. At the very least, I can say... I had an oceanfront view!

Grey room and acomidations, only complaint is the slow elevators.

I m writing this because I m displeased and I haven t even stayed there yet ! The amount off CUSTOMER SERVICE That I ve been given is truly disappointing.. I booked a room back in June spoke to people multiple times confirming my reservation was good two days ago I received an email saying we hope to see you on the 25th of August... today I received an email at 6 talking about how my reservation was cancelled ... I called and spoke to 4 different people with 4 different answered and NOBODY Can help me .. all they tried to do was give me a room that was more expensive .. if I wanted the more expensive place I would have got it.. nobody has tried to accommodate me on behalf of these troubles .. this is truly poor customer service.. FUNNY thing is I booked it DIRECTLY THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE!! And this is the THANKS I get .. now I have no where to stay .. some vacation this is...

Smelt of weed. Out dated. Says the pool is heated. Thats a lie. Only good thing about this place was the guys working valet parking and the front desk clerk.

The room was very nice and had all the necessary accommodations. But the staff here are the rudest people we encountered on our whole trip. If the staff were friendlier we would return but for that reason we won't be staying at this resort again

We love it here! I want to give a special recognition to Wanda, the front desk lady, for her outstanding attitude and for going beyond the norm to accommodate us! She deserves a special recognition for outstanding work ethics.

Awesome resort in a great location. Friendly staff, reasonable rates, nice rooms, and it's right on the boardwalk!

I stayed here the past weekend I wasn t pleased the rooms are way smaller than the pics online the elevators are veryyyy slow we waited 15 mins to get on the elevators also the hallways n elevators stayed hot they did not have good rooms serves stayed there from the 21 to 24 n couldn t get new towels n bath cloths like u surpose to room service never empty trash unless u had to keep calling the front desk all that money n no breakfast to close restaurants to get breakfast Starbucks was nasty they had to many workers that didn t no what they was doing also the hotel front desk was nice n kind but overall I ll didn t like the hotel all my money wasted bad vacation also when u load n unload ur baggage it was very congested

If you are looking to have a nice family vacation in Myrtle Beach, DO NOT STAY HERE. This hotel is located in the ghetto part of Myrtle Beach. My husband and I felt so unsafe. There are cops everywhere at night, circling the hotel. The motel across the street is filled with druggies and trash. We watched a drug deal happen outside of the hotel! There was loud rap music playing all night long and people screaming. When we asked our neighbors to quiet down, they slammed the door on us. The dunes smelled like urine everyday. The rooms were absolutely filthy! Blood stains on the curtains and sticky mystery stain on the carpet. The shower drain was also clogged with sand and found a bag of cheetos with ants crawling all over it under the night stand. Only positives was the indoor pool and lazy river for our kids. At least they loved that! Save your money and stay in the nicer hotels further up 17. DO NOT STAY HERE.

We first got here and we were very pleased. Very affordable (compared to our home state vacation spot) and looked to be quite clean and nice. We spent one night, woke up and went shopping and came back to our room clean. We checked our belongings and $500 in cash was gone! Safe was not working properly and gave us an error code when we tried to set it up, so we tried to hide everything as best as possible. The front desk really didn't seem to care at all. We called the police and file a report, everything. They said she was one of their longest house keepers and she wouldn't do that. Like really... I don't care how long someone has worked here, anyone is capable of theft! We checked out and got a refund. I would say to make sure the safe works and make sure to use it!!

So fun.. went out of season but that just meant less people!

I'm a regular throughout the year, so I'm always pleased. I had a minor issue on this visit,but Camden quickly fixed it.

I was told that my room would be done at I told them I had my in- laws work me there in the 70's but they didn't have it done till 4:30

Nothing like the picture says very disappointing! No restaurants near and no fun activities around! Worst "Hotel" ever!!

Worst place I have ever stayed period. Elevators are terrible. Took 20 min for an elevator to show up! Lost power. Locked out of my room for over an hour and maintenance could not get in. Only way in is to pick the lock from outside under the door or use a laptop. Could not find the laptop and could not pick the lock. Service was terrible and had to call the cops first night because my players were being badgered by a person wanting money who didn't belong in the resort. Employee at front desk was staggering all over and fumbling to grab things. Then she disappeared. She was the only one on staff and people could not get their keys for their cars. Never again will I come here. When you told the manager all they say was oh sorry.

Love staying at this resort proposed to my wonderful girlfriend there they even gave me a better room because of her birthday will be coming back again soon!!!

Very clean and every room has a balcony and lots of room very good for family vacation.

I will never stay at this nasty place again!!! The elevators doesn t work only 2 out of 4 waited 40 mins for a elevator had to end up taking our luggage down 6 flights of stairs with 4 children behind me with all the money we spent mattress were nasty had to ask for clean sheets because the sheets on the bed were dirty found socks and trash underneath the beds!! Called housekeeping up to the room they could simply careless especially the front desk worker which was on her phone as we were telling her about the problem! Went to the gym the gym is basically a suit with 4 machines in it this hotel was a train wreck they will never receive any of my money again!

Me and my family enjoyed our stay, we will definitely return to this hotel.

Not a bad place to stay. Very friendly staff and rooms clean. Only thing is alot of loud guests that blast music and front desk acts like they don't care. It's more for college kids than a family friendly atmosphere. Will not return just because of to many loud and drunk college kids. I have three kids and I didn't feel safe staying here.

It was okay from what I could tell. My reservation was cancelled and I was not able to get a room. The Manager was helpful in me and my family finding another resort!! It would have been nice to stay, maybe next time!

IT WAS A GREAT PLACE, BUT WHEN I SAY I WANT OCEAN VIEW IN THE 10th FLOOR. I DON'T MEAN THE 4th floor and lean over tha rail to see THE SO CALLED OCEAN FRONT

Resort was great. The pool was a lot smaller than expected. The room had a great city and ocean view. Free DVD rentals was amazing. Room service was kind when we called for more towels. They were well organized and worked with me and my budget.

Decent atmosphere. Wasn't as clean as I would enjoy but wasn't gross by any means. Husband and I stopped in to get out of the rain while waiting for a Lyft. It wasn't as welcoming as the resort we are currently in now, ocean reef resort.

This place was awesome! My kids were in love with the pool area which featured a lazy river, hot tub, pool and outdoor splash area! They didn't even want to leave the resort! Walking distance from the beach and the view of the ocean from our bedroom window was breath taking! My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back! The staff was friendly and attentive! The rooms were comfortable and clean! So many great things to say out this establishment!

Bay View is a wonderful centered located hotel right on the Boardwalk. We have never had a bad visit. The staff are friendly . It is very clean and the custodians do a great job of cleaning and getting towels.
We have been staying at Vay View for 5 yrs now . A few times a yr. We love the people and the location. It should be a consideration to any trip at all times of yr

Only thing is at check out every year we have hell trying to get checked out due to lack of enough elevators

Will never stay at this place again. It s nothing like it use to be. 1 of 4 elevators working. No room service in 3 days. Pool smelled really bad, went to take a shower the water line was broke and off for 8 hours. Packed up and come home early. Asked for corporates email on Facebook to the bay view page they blocked me. Poor service don t stay

Hotel needs cleaning and updating. Don't count on having access to the elevator especially if it rains, and during check in /out times. We had to carry all of our luggage and stroller with our infant up and down 4 flights of stairs, several times. Stairways were often locked giving you no choice but to wait 20 minutes plus to use the elevator. Too many rooms and tenants, not enough elevator / stair access.

We had a very disappointing experience at Bayview for our 5 year wedding anniversary!! I was genuinely shocked because Bayview is usually a really nice place to stay. The toilet and bathtub were disgusting! There were bugs (roaches) in the bathroom!! There were cigarette ashes on the balcony table of this nonsmoking Resort. On the bright side front desk staff and Starbucks staff were very friendly as always! Needless to say, housekeeping has gone DOWNHILL!! We stay at Bayview every year for our anniversary since we got married on the boardwalk at the resort. It saddens me that we may have to find different accommodations for our next anniversary weekend.

BE AWARE SOME OCEAN VIEW ROOMS ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED!
My experience there was brief but fairly pleasant for the most part. The staff were very helpful, one person in particular was the manager Angela.
After learning the room I paid for had no view at all, Angela was able to rectify the situation to my satisfaction.
That aside, some other problems I had were the unexpected long line just to check-in. Waiting for an elevator was like waiting for a bus, and the shower didn't drain properly, but like I said it was a pleasant experience otherwise.

Nice resort with a great view. One of the best maintained hotels in the area. Only complaint was the shower head which was pretty low flow, but not a big issue.

This resort is right on the boardwalk, but it s a couple of blocks before you get to the main strip. This was nice since you didn t have to deal with the night life if you wanted to just relax on the balcony.

We were planning a cruise this year, but unfortunately covid hit and derailed that idea, so we decided on a staycation instead.
We rented a suite here at bayview because the kids wanted to go swimming and the room had a full kitchen and the comforts of home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and the girls at the front desk were so polite at both check-in and check-out. Bayview has a lot of positives and the location is perfect for enjoying the strip.

The area around the resort is a little worse for wear, but the hotel itself has been great. The boardwalk and walking trails by the beach are top notch, and the indoor lazy river is a huge highlight!

Spacious rooms with easy access to everything. Unfortunately they charge a resort fee.

Loved the location and the room, which was ocean front. Did not like the inconsistency of the housekeeping services. Although, they did do their best to make it better. I would come back. I hope they make the elevators more safer for those who walk in wet....the elevators were wet the whole time I was there.

But, still, it is a nice place.

Our first night was really good. Bianca at the front desk was absolutely amazing. The elevators and wait times are horrible. We waited an hour trying to get an elevator. We had too many bags to take the stairs from the 18th floor. The second night, our room was a little outdated but clean. The pull out couch was broken so we slept on a slope.

Great staff, awesome room with a kitchen, dining area, common area and bedroom, two (yeah, TWO!) balconies. One facing the ocean and one facing the city. Only got 4 stars because housekeeping came at 8:30 am and didn't come back later in the day and the room had that "hotel smell" that rooms get when they haven't been aired out and properly sprayed.

Visited family and friends and boy was I dismayed, I would've got a refund. Was sitting at kitchen table when I was showered in white sheetrock dust from construction upstairs. They should close facilities while under construction I wouldn't pay $20 per nite to stay as such.

Would stay agin. Me and my husband stayed with my family here great for multi familys each room came with there own pourch bathroom tv and then we had a larg living room full kitchen and table an large pourch with great views also so everyone had there space and if everyone wanted to be together they could too

It's nice, but it needs an update. The furniture is old and dirty. Replace the carpet, curtains(holes in it), need flat screen TV on the wall, and Keurig in kitchen. Add a recliner to living area. New changes are good, but more needs to be done.

Location was good, hotel located right on the beach with access to local area and boardwalk with beach access. The room however was one of the smallest in size we have ever stayed in approximately 25ft by 15ft and the beachview room they described was just that a small glimpse of the ocean if we leaned over the balcony and looked to our right, otherwise we had a perfect view
of the concrete wall of the hotel next door.

Staff was very friendly. They were helpful when we upgraded our room to a different view. The staff we came into contact with was always pleasant. The pool was cloudy at times (and you could smell the chlorine). Overall, it was nice and conveniently located to many places to eat and shop.

Loving our stay at the Bayview!! Being greeted by Wanda started off our girls weekend awesome! Great amenities location and views!!

The view is great. Would like better housekeeping service. The price is reasonable if you have a large family. Would recommend to others.
