Location was nice but don t let the outside looks fool you. Rooms were very outdated and smelly. There was a strong musty smell inside the room Really could be a nice place with a little updating.
First time here. We have a condo ocean view for the week. Everything very nice, only negative comment is the balcony overlooking the beach is covered in pidgeon droppings
Front desk staff was not friendly nor very welcoming. Only plus side to our stay was that we were able to check in early. Upon entering our sideview ocean room it smelled badly of pancake syrup and the floor was very slippery. A few hours later we couldn t take the smell so we went to see about a different room there was 4 of us carrying our luggage all around this ghetto motel (is what it should be called) as it is definitely not a resort . The second room they gave us was super tiny nothing like the first so back downstairs we went... the third room we were given had roaches crawling up the walls... we were trying to look past it as we were not trying to be a pain ... after a very long day we get into bed and realize the bed sheets are all dirty ... we call the front desk and were told we had to come down and get fresh sheets and change them ourselves at that ... we wake up in the morning and as our first day couldn t get much worse we wake up to bed bugs !!! This was a whole mess of a experience worst hotel experience I ve ever had in my life .. I actually brought a bed bug down to the front desk in a plastic bag ... no one seemed to care with every complaint we gave they re answer was just I ll give you a new room there was someone different at the desk also each time. At this point we didn t want another room the 5th time wouldn t have been the charm for sure. I wanted a full refund ... roaches bed bugs dirty bed sheets nothing surprised those employees... bayview resort was a complete nightmare

This was the worst resort I have ever stayed in. It took 2 hrs to check in. The whole hotel smelled of drugs. The room has metal bars sticking out which busted my son's leg open. I would advise you not to waste your money. We will never ever come back again. Our room wasnt even ready when we were given keys to go upstairs
My fiance and i had a great stay here, right by the beach , ocean view, very clean rooms, sound proof walls.Everything was in walking distance. Didnt care for the pool too much however it seemed fun for children. Parking garage right across the street, very convenient. Will def come back!
The pictures aren't if the hotel itself, but the beach in front of it. I was highly appreciative of the rates being off season, and the concierge being so friendly. We were offered a nice deal pack for the local favorites, and that helped a lot! The room was clean, the view was great, and the comfort was high. The clearing service was prompt every morning (even though we didn't really need it), and very courteous. They even left a voicemail to make sure everything was in order. Even being under slight renovation, everything was in order and working smoothly. The pool area was really neat, especially having a lazy river area. Will come back here for sure with my wife!
This hotel is filthy. My room was disgusting. Upon check in, we noticed the garbage overflowing, the washer was filled with nasty dirty smelly water, drinking glass chipped/cracked, dark hair in the bathroom, clock battery dead.
Manager never returned my calls or inquiries to discuss issues with him.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
Great location! Our room had full kitchen, 3 beds big enough for 6 people. 2 balconies, one with view to the city and another with side view of the ocean. The only problem was that the sofa bed had dirty sheets from previously, we had to request clean ones and when house keeping was done, the beds were not made.

My family always comes to Myrtle Beach the beginning of February every year, this year we decided to stay at Bayview the price was reasonable and I ve stayed here plenty of times before so I knew what to expect. Well first of all they couldn t find my reservation, secondly the heat wouldn t get over 67 degrees in the winter, then my sisters room flooded due to the bathroom overflowing because of a maintenance issue then she found bed bugs on the bed and they had to call an exterminator. Needless to say this is the last time we will be visiting bayview resorts.

The experience I had this time was not as good as my previous which was last summer (which I left a great review). This time I had to repeatedly ask for maintenance due to the shower being stopped up and draining slowly. Not until the 3rd time anything was done about it because the manager happen to be at the front desk and made sure it was taken care of. The floor was so slippery that my both my children slipped and fell and the cleaning service didn't come clean take trash or bring towels. I returned this time due to service and location based on my last visit , but I will not be a returning customer again

I enjoyed my senior week here. The room we had was clean when we showed up and it was just like what we read online. The beds were comfortable to sleep in and nobody really complained about not sleeping well. The dishes were clean and put up nice and neat, the refrigerator was clean and empty. The beds were also stain free and bug free so I was excited about that. The few things that really makes me give it 4 stars is that the room service took a little long due to the rushing of everyone checking out on the same day and a bunch of people checking in. The elevators were slow and packed all morning. The hotel is right in the middle of everything you really can not complain about not having anything to do.
My room was located on the 10th floor with the view of the ocean which I really liked. Room was cleaned and cozy.
The woman I spoke to was very nice but my reservation was lost?? But yet was still charged I m so glad I called ahead.
Loved every second of it. The pool is fantastic, but so is the service. The receptionist was so nice and helpful and gave me insight as to some of the places where the locals go rather than the more tourist areas. Will definitely come back again!

We LOVED our stay at Bay View Resort! It made our family vacation awesome and being so close to everything on the strip made it even better!!!!!! The parking garage was amazing too!!!!!!! I loved how our car was protected from the weather as well as how it was protected from violators due to access only being granted to guests. The sunset view from the 19th floor was beautiful as well and my family really enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night.
We enjoyed our stay at Bay View! Our family has designated this resort as our vacation getaway for the past 4 years. We look forward to coming back every summer!
Nice rooms ,but not enough dishes . The bathroom was only accessible though the bedroom not the hallway .
Nice place to stay, comfortable beds, great oceanview (Room we paid for), poolside bar has awesome drinks. Only issues our coffee pot worked halfway and noise from hallway & people above us was loud. Outdated but if your planning just a good night sleep and doing other things is a good place to stay.
Good stay overall. Room was dated but clean. Carpets were not as clean as the rest of the room. We stayed in an oceanfront condo. It had everything we needed for a week long stay.
Elevators were scary....clunking, banging, and vibrating every trip. When we first arrived one elevator was stuck on the 11th floor and stayed that way until the next day.
Lazy River water was murky. We wanted to swim, but it did not seem very clean.

we came down for mustang week. the hotel was very nice and convent to the boardwalk. the staff was very friendly. we recommend a higher floor during reservations and got it (17th floor). upon arrival for check in the system was down.. aletha was very friendly and let us start or paper work and called us in less then 20 mins when the system was back up. the garage is across the street. the room (Oceanview suite) was very clean and amazing. only down side is the hotel that's being built next to it block majority of the Oceanview on the second balcony. maid service was okay . they came and clean the room and replace towels and get the trash but the beds were never made back up. except on the first 2 days of our stay. the pool the boys loved it and was clean. the jacuzzi was great very hot never got cold and was clean. overall the hotel price was good. the hotel was very nice and no problems. the elevetors are nice the higher you are the slower they are. my husband said the girl at Starbucks had a nasty attitude. checkout was fast and they have an app. very convenient. wish I had of known about the hotel being built next to them I would've book an oceanfront room. but overall I love the hotel close to restaurants and bars
Horrible! No toilet paper, no fresh towels, the whole place was dirty and was never cleaned for 5 days, fire alarm chirping for 2 days, elevators in parking garage and hotel not working, toilet wouldn t flush, trash piled up for days. Do not stay here. The pool was nasty and there was absolutely no service!!!!!
Nice condo. The resort was not extremely clean. The maid did not come to our room either day so we had to call downstairs for towels. The condo agreement stated there would be maid service. No biggie except for needing more towels.
Don't get talked into doing the Wyndham Vacation Resorts promotion. I was told it would be 2 hours by the Bay View representative it took up over 4 hours of my vacation time. The day of the promotion you are promised a quality lunch it was a very cheap lunch of Mac and cheese and meatballs. Wyndham sales people use high pressure tactics avoid this miserable experience.

Rooms smaller than I would of thought and did not like parking and first time ever stayed where there is so many floors, took forever to get in and out of resort, well there is a first time for everything
Nice resort & amenities but our room was VERY small. Our air was not working so they were kind enough to move us to another, much nicer room. Staff was great!!!

What a wonderful view! If you get an ocean front view midway up the sights are gorgeous. From our large room we could see the sky wheel, the pear and miles of sandy beach. So beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff seemed to keep us stocked up on towels fairly often.
The indoor swimming was a tad cramped- but you have to love the lazy river. I really enjoyed that it opened up and the beach was literally a few paces away.
Highly recommend. Loved it.
Will definitely be back. Loved everything about this place. Full size kitchen, it was literally like a nice sized one bedroom apartment. I couldn't hear my neighbors, everything was perfect. Front desk is awesome too, especially Wanda, she's everything!
Not very clean and the air/heat does not work as each unit is cooling/heating two separate rooms. This does not work if you want it cold and the person next to you, sharing the same hvac unit as you, wants it hot. Makes literally no sense. Staff is kind enough, had to say something about our incredibly hot room despite having it on cool more than once before it was fixed though
Ant had house keeping sence day one light switched failed shocked 3 of us I'll never be back unless they setisfie us befor we check out ..

I've come three years straight and have been very happy with it every year! Super clean and friendly staff has been nothing but a positive. The room size is perfect and I would definitely recommend it.
We had to call for clean towels every day. In order for our used towels to be removed. We had to put it in the hallway. Also put it in the hallway to be removed.
The hotel is nice. The free starbuck was decent. I gave it a 3-star because housekeeping sucks. Also, had to call for maintenance 3 times in 2 day out of a 4 day stay to get the phone working.

Just terrible terrible. Rooms was smaller than I ever expected. My view is a construction site. Pool so small me and mine didn't even think about getting in. Elevator kept getting stuck. Key cards hardly ever worked to the parking garage. Room service is a joke. If I could I give it a zero with no stars for the amount of money I paid. Had to have my key card to get thru two doors to get to my room. Just very unsatisfied
Our room was not ready for us to go in the housekeepers were still cleaning. It wasn't ready for three hours after our check in and they charged us with the fee to check in late although we had tried but was told it wasn't ready. And on top of that we forgot our six year olds tablet in the room when we left. I have called everyday for the past three weeks to try and get something figured out to get it back to us because we live twelve hours away in Indiana.and go figure nobody calls us back no latter how many times people "take note" of my call or how many voicemails I leave. Do not stay here ... this place is a joke.
They cost too much and double charged me for my room. Otherwise, they are clean and very friendly.

Bay view used to be my favorite hotel at myrtle beach. This time was the worst. Even though checking in was quick. On the other end of the counter, the front desk attendant was loudly flirting with a guest. I didn't care about them flirting. They were just so loud. I called down to front desk twice for two things and they never came up. Our room was not clean. The chair had food stains. There was old boneless chicken on the floor. Popcorn behind the sofa. Dirty dishes in the oven. And I still haven't received my 100.00 security deposit back yet. Overall I just couldn't get over how unclean the room was. Especially with COVID going on. Thank you bay view for the times I did enjoy. I will not be returning.
We had a great vacation for six days with my husband and my kids I love it very convenient and close to the beach very friendly staff except long waiting to get elvator, the bedroom is so small wasn t expected just like in the picture. The carpet is very very dirty and old they need to upgrade a few things
This was our second stay at the Bay View on the Boardwalk. I must say that we have been pleased with each of our stays. The accommodations are very comfortable, like being at home. Room was clean and housekeeping made sure that it remained that way throughout our stay. Bay View was recommended by family who stay here each time they come to Myrtle Beach (they have been staying at this hotel over 3 years). To me, that says something about Bay View. Also, I absolutely LOVE the convenience of the Boardwalk. Looking forward to our next trip.
The room was nice and clean except for the door in the bathroom that covers the AC unit. It was covered in dust. The elevator was nasty and I never saw anyone cleaning in the elevator or common area. You never smelled any cleaner being used. Associates rode elevator with guests which was not supposed to be doing.At night crowds of young people would gather with cars and party with employees in charge of golfcart. Ivy at front desk was so great!

The bay view resort was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.
EVERYONE checking in on that Sunday had to Wait, not 30 minutes but HOURS some came back and were told their rooms were STILL not ready. I had to wait for over an hour, kids and husband had to sit in the car while a room became available. Once a room became available, it was not the room I orginally reuqested but I took it anyway so my kids would no longer have to wait. So we were down one bed and the kids had to sleep on the bumpy sleep sofa. I slept on it one night so they could at least sleep comfy in the queen bed. After coming back from the pool, I took the kids a bath and grabbed the bath towel and it had PUBIC hairs on it! I reqested for more towels and no one ever came up so the kids and I shared the only decent towel available. The next day, I began cooking breakfast, I opened the cabinet door and there was a ROACH crawling out of one of the plates (I screamed). I called guest services and the lady said she would send someone up, Again NO ONE came. The next day housekeeper came at 10a to do the routine clean, she had towels but said she would have to bring the washcloths back. SHE NEVER CAME BACK. I had to call down to get the washcloths. No one ever came up about the roach and no one ever returned my calls. I almost forgot to mention, the GYM. None of the treadmills worked (I would have jogged on the beach but the weather was cold), there was a maintenance worker who tried to help but she couldn't get them to work. There was so much that happened I'm sure I'm forgetting something. I was so drained from complaining that I didn't bother going to customer service in person because I didn't want to hear the lies and them talk about how they were short staffed and blah blah blah. I was fed up and made due with what we had. I didn't want to spend no more time calling and waiting in line to complain about something. The only call I ever gotten was the "CONCIERGE" desk which is nothing but a WYNDHAM worker trying to sell guests tickets or "free nights" in exchange for a 2 hour seminar which they try to sell you POINTS (like timeshare). HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

Room was very small and dated. Bath room had visable mold. Some of the electrical outlets did not work.
The room design was perfect. Staff were really nice. We had amazing views from the 17th floor! Room was clean. Elevators were always so crammed with long waits. Fine print required extra fees when you get there. Parking garage accross the street. Great time!
Bayview is a great place to stay the staff are all friendly and courteous. The entire place is very clean and the location is great. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and it's close to the Boardwalk and Broadway on the Beach. We will definitely be returning next year.
The room was very nice and clean, but the staff was rude. When we arrived my child needed to use the restroom. The cleaning lady told me the restrooms was out of order. Must I remind you they re two( 1 by the pool and the other by registration). They was never out of order. She had just clean them! When asked for help staff had a very sarcastic remark. one of their elevator wouldn t go to the 18th floor because the button didn t work. Another elevator would stop at random floors and wouldn t go no further. The elevator in the parking deck work when it wanted too.And far as pool...it only goes to 4ft and they only have one jacuzzi and a lazy river. My child wasn t excited...bored because that s all they had and it was over packed.
I really enjoyed my stay.. We stayed 2 night and didn't want to leave lol.. The pools are awesome so is the lazy river.. Rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly..
Staff is very helpful and friendly. The ocean view room itself needed some new items when we first arrived, there was a wet towel in the bathroom and one bed's comforter had an unpleasant odor. If it weren't for the quick response of the staff I wouldn't stay here again. Also there is the construction of a new hotel going on outside so there is that as well, not the fault of the hotel but you hear noise while you're on the beach(July 2017).
Lots of people checking in at the same time made for a bit of a traffic jam but staff stayed professional and was very efficient. Room was very nice, big, up to date and we enjoyed our city view. Construction out front should be done soon but it was never an issue. Parking garage is a block away but easy to get in out of. Never had any concerns getting back and forth. Go - enjoy!
