EVERYONE checking in on that Sunday had to Wait, not 30 minutes but HOURS some came back and were told their rooms were STILL not ready. I had to wait for over an hour, kids and husband had to sit in the car while a room became available. Once a room became available, it was not the room I orginally reuqested but I took it anyway so my kids would no longer have to wait. So we were down one bed and the kids had to sleep on the bumpy sleep sofa. I slept on it one night so they could at least sleep comfy in the queen bed. After coming back from the pool, I took the kids a bath and grabbed the bath towel and it had PUBIC hairs on it! I reqested for more towels and no one ever came up so the kids and I shared the only decent towel available. The next day, I began cooking breakfast, I opened the cabinet door and there was a ROACH crawling out of one of the plates (I screamed). I called guest services and the lady said she would send someone up, Again NO ONE came. The next day housekeeper came at 10a to do the routine clean, she had towels but said she would have to bring the washcloths back. SHE NEVER CAME BACK. I had to call down to get the washcloths. No one ever came up about the roach and no one ever returned my calls. I almost forgot to mention, the GYM. None of the treadmills worked (I would have jogged on the beach but the weather was cold), there was a maintenance worker who tried to help but she couldn't get them to work. There was so much that happened I'm sure I'm forgetting something. I was so drained from complaining that I didn't bother going to customer service in person because I didn't want to hear the lies and them talk about how they were short staffed and blah blah blah. I was fed up and made due with what we had. I didn't want to spend no more time calling and waiting in line to complain about something. The only call I ever gotten was the "CONCIERGE" desk which is nothing but a WYNDHAM worker trying to sell guests tickets or "free nights" in exchange for a 2 hour seminar which they try to sell you POINTS (like timeshare). HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.
