I called Baxter to see a specific car. They told me to come in and they would show it to me. I showed up, car was sold, so I left. They emailed me the next day with 2 cars that I was interested in so I told them I would come in and see those cars. I showed up again and one car was sold and they started showing me every other car that I was not interested in. Bait and Switch! Finally, they showed me what I had come in to look at - after they had to drive to another dealership to pick it up. Price was 11,995. Sales guy wanted to sell me a car before I went home, so he came down to 10,500. I told him I was very interested but that I needed my mechanic to see the car. Took the car to my mechanic the next day. Mechanic said it was in good shape and well taken car of but that it needed 1000$ of work in the near future. I called the dealer to talk to them about the 10,500 price and the 1000$ of work it needed and they told me the price had changed to 11,737. The price increased 1200$ in less than 12 hours and after I spent 100$ to have my mechanic look at it. When i told the manager they were dishonest and not trustworthy, the price went back down to 10,500.. Also, the 2 cars that got me into their dealership in the first place, that were sold, are still being advertised. They get you to come in to see a car that they don't have and try to show you other vehicles. Very shifty on pricing (decreased, then increased) and they punish you for having a private mechanic inspect before you buy.

Last time I was in I bought a 2016 F-350 Platinum. It was a pleasure working with Kevin Putman. He was very helpful, and definitely knew what he was talking about. I will never do business with this company again. If it weren't for the salesman somewhere else and the good deal I got on my Edge I would've stayed elsewhere. I had financing set up and the finance person (Andy) talked me into applying with SAC Fed Credit Union. I agreed because it is local and I do try to do business with local companies. 5-6 wks later I called SAC to inquire about not receiving my payment booklet. They couldn't find an account anywhere and advised me to call the dealer to inquire about it. I did an was inititially spoke to Matt and he informend me that the loan was with Capitol One. He referred me back to the finance person Andy for an explantion. He said that it wouldn't go through with SAC so they went to Capitol One. I was very mad and told him I don't even open mail from them as it is always junk mail. Asked him if the legal and he said it was but I told him it wasn't moral and why did he not feel the need to notify me. Back to Matt again and I expressed my complete dissapointment with Baxter's and I would not do business with them ever again. He did not call me back with the loan info, I had to call him. The next day one of the runners brought me the paper work to my home (it's a long drive to 180th) I added a note to the papers that I needed 1 verification that Capitol One was paid off, 2 do I need to be in touch with the DMV for changes, 3 to make sure I got my copies of the papers mailed to me. Guess what 9 days later and nothing no phone call no mail no NOTHING. To me all of these practices are very shady. To others make sure you get the loan they tell you about and don't be afraid to voice your concerns

My husband and I recently purchased a vehicle from Baxter Ford. Roberto helped us have a smooth car buying experience.

Unfortunately, we had some issues with the first general manager and his unwillingness to cooperate with us when we had some mechanical issues with our truck. We were very disappointed in the dealership.

Then they changed management and the new general manager, Steve Oliver, was so willing work with us. He seemed to sincerely care about our problem and his job making sure that he had satisfied customers. They have totally redeemed themselves.

I would definitely recommend Baxter Ford as great car dealership during and after sale. :)

I have never had worst customer service and terrible experiences at any other dealership except this Ford dealer. I am not sure where to even begin. The bad experiences started when dropping my car off for an oil change and taking the shuttle to work. I called in to let them know I was ready to be picked up. They said someone would call me to come pick me up. I never heard from anyone in an hour so I got a ride out to Ford to pick my vehicle up. I got a call 2 hours later about when could I be picked up after I had picked my vehicle up and left Ford already. When picking my vehicle up they let me know it was time for new tires. I agreed and scheduled an appt for new tires and picked out the new tires while I was there to be ordered. The next week I dropped my vehicle off and took the shuttle again to work in hopes they would pick me up this time. They called me my vehicle was done and I said great if someone could pick me up at lunch. No one came again so I got a ride out there. I picked up my car and stopped to get gas and noticed those were not the tires I ordered but the same factory tires that wear fast. I called and they said well did you tell them the tires you wanted on it? I said I didn't know I needed to I ordered them and assume you have down what I ordered? I brought my vehicle back and they put the right tires on. I had to take the afternoon off work just deal with all of this mess with the wrong tires on my vehicle. They did give me a free gas fill up and oil change for the hassle. I brought my car in just this week for an oil change. I really don't know why I brought it back to them after all the problems I have had, but really figured how can you mess up an an oil change. I waited this time for the vehicle to be finished instead of getting the shuttle. Once my car was finished they gave me the keys and I hopped in and went about my way. I stopped at subway and when I got out I noticed on my newly washed car there was a large chunk of paint missing off my hood! How does that seriously happen!?! My car is a 2017 and I just washed it on Tuesday and had all my paint! I took it back and they tried to tell me it was due to corrosion and putting the blame on me. They finally agreed to fix the vehicle and told me to bring it on Monday. I dropped my car off on Monday and they gave me a loaner because I was not going to rely on a shuttle again. I have had to call in repeatedly for updates when my car would be finished to be given the run around of we don't know and will call you.. to we are waiting to hear from Ford who will pay for this. I am beyond frustrated and still don't have vehicle back when this was not my fault. I have had nothing but problems and poor service at this location.

AJ Helped us for over 3 hours on Friday and around 4 hours on Saturday. He helped us find the right vehicle to fit into our needs and price range. As we found out, Baxter Auto Group has a lot of dealers and getting a used car from a different location can be time consuming and at times difficult, but AJ got it done!! Went to Baxter to purchase a used pickup, they recommended a 2002 Ford Diesel, saying it was very dependable and suitable for long distance reliable travel. Truck did have good tires, but was slow turning over. Baxter installed new batteries and mentioned that they had already installed a new injector in #7 cylinder. Truck went just past Sioux Falls, had to be taken to Sioux Falls for overheating problems. Dealer there fixed a fan and replaced the starter - noting that the new battery cables were loose. Truck made it as far as Missoula, MT where it again overheated. Dealer there found numerous problems, worst being that the head was cracked around the #7 cylinder. Water was found in crankcase.
Truck was traded in at a 55% loss after 3 days. Missoula mechanic told us that it appeared that Baxter was (1) Incompetent for failing to check why the injector had to be replaced, and the starter (not the batteries) was bad, or (2) Baxter knew that the head was cracked and decided to dump it on the first unsuspecting buyer who was foolish enough to trust them.
Several calls to Baxter managers went unanswered. I am going to be buying a new heavy-duty pickup in the near future and was considering Ford but I will never deal with a crooked or incompetent dealer again which is what I consider this case to be. Ford was also informed of the problem but never tried to address it. I have already told several associates about the problems with Baxter and so far at least one, a previous Ford owner, has purchased a new GMC due to the treatment we received, not only from Baxter but fdue to the lack of concern by Ford.

Eric M was amazing. I asked for easy and smooth and that is exactly what he he did for me. I had picked a car, picked a price and that was all that I was asked to do. The paperwork and the car were both delivered with minimal requirements and with the current climate no risk at all. I couldn t have imagined such a smooth process with a car purchase, Baxter had surpassed my expectations by going above and beyond and I couldn t be more satisfied!

Ronald Archer here at Baxter Ford gave my wife and I a great no nonsense ordering experience! I scheduled ahead and I feel we got a very seasoned salesman that knows his stuff. Being that I had all my research done and was solid on what I wanted we wasted little to no time getting me a couple test drives, and then order placed. The only thing my wife and I would have changed would have been the delivery wait time, but that's more Ford + weather than Baxter's fault. I'll return to Baxter for sure in the future!

I warn all of you be very careful with purchasing a used vehicle from Baxter. I bought a car for my daughter and spent the next seven Saturdays in the repair shop for various issues that should've been taken care of before they put the car on the lot. Thankfully I bought the extended warranty but that's already taken $700 out of my pocket and lord only knows what's in store for me down the road.

I advise you all that are thinking of purchasing a used vehicle from Baxter is to take it to your mechanic and have them check it over. If I would've done this I wouldn't be in the situation I'm in today.

I love the service department!!! Brian Murray was outstanding the last time I brought my car in for a repair. Today I needed my tires checked, but didn t have an appointment. I stopped by to see if anyone could help me. I was greeted with a smile from Ben and when I asked if he could check my tires and maybe run my car through the car wash. He said no problem. I then went into the waiting room and to my surprise they had a wonderful coffee machine, comfy chairs and a tv on. It was so relaxing I could of stayed all day! Kevin Putnam was my salesperson. Kevin was eager to find a vehicle that fit my needs and within my budget. I was purchasing a used vehicle with a very modest budget, but I felt as if I were getting the same treatment as someone purchasing a new $50,000 vehicle. The finance department was great to work with. The time involved in the transaction was much longer than anticipated (over two hours) but Kevin gave me lunch while I waited and checked on me frequently. At no point did he abandon me (and my sale) to attend to another customer. At least it didn't feel that way. Great experience overall.

She is on a very fixed budget so price and payment flexibility was very important. We worked with Ted Monte and not only was he very friendly he was also able to get down to our price point. This is by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. My wife and I have purchased our last 3 vehicles here with Ryan Flynn and we will never go anywhere else. He is so great to work with. He gave us his personal cell number and was communicating with us well after hours trying to find the exact vehicle we were looking for. Brett Kukoly in the aftermarket department has done some major upgrades to our truck that look even better than I could have imagined. He also gave us his personal number so he could keep us in the loop and send me pictures of the truck throughout the process. Todd Pettigrew in the service department has great communication and customer service. As they worked on the truck he explained things in great detail of what they were working on and why they were doing it. Thank you all so much for your help and hard work. I would highly recommend anyone to buy from Baxter Ford!

I only used this place because it's near my house. I guess I need to find a REAL shop to service this van

Mike Swanson was so accommodating and honest from the start to finish. I found the car online and also purchased it sight unseen because Mike was so good about sending pictures and giving me an honest review of the car. I HIGHLY recommend working with him. He s definitely not your typical car salesman in the fact he s not pushy and helpful!
I bought it over the phone and 2 days later they drove 650 miles round trip and delivered it to my house. Mike even made a follow up call with me a few days post sale to make sure it s what I wanted and I was satisfied with it. I m so impressed with the service.

I told him exactly what I was looking for, he said I ll call you back in twenty minutes. He tracked a vehicle down in Texas - the exact one that I wanted. I dealt with several people throughout the buying process, all of them were exceptional. They also gave us a great price for our trade in and helped us to get a rebate as well. I would go through them again. We did all of the paperwork on the tailgate. I accidentally left a few things in my old truck. Eric packaged it up and sent it back to me. Great Salesman, great customer service, great price, great truck, great experience! It matters who you buy your vehicle from. Go see Eric. I am 58 years old and this has been the best car buying experience of my life.

My wife and I came in looking at one specific vehicle we had seen online - the sales person we spoke with on the phone wasn t available and we were matched with Jake Schwarck. Our last dealership experience (at a different dealership) was horrendous and neither my wife nor I wanted to really go through another dealership. I felt completely comfortable with Jake and after a few minutes I could tell my wife felt at ease with him to. We never felt pressured to buy the car and when we told Jake that we wanted to go home and think about it, he was more than understanding, still maintained his professionalism and never made us feel pressured to make a deal. We ended up buying the car and had a few things needing to be taken care of with the service department the following week and Jake stayed on top of everything for us. We couldn t have asked for a better experience and would recommend him to anyone!

I bought an Infinity in October 2020. It was my first fancy car. Matt Bax was my salesman. He was great. I felt like we were partners instead of him selling me something. He did a great job. I wanted to wait to post my review after my 90 days. I did take the car in for service - when I got there they told me I should have gone to Infinity instead of Baxter Ford - they mainly deal with Ford vehicles, but the service department sets up your appointment. The service manager did call and fixed the issues. They do go over and above. I live in Bellevue and they came to pick up the car which was great. I am really busy with my job so that saved me a ton of time. Thanks Dustin!
