Justin Miller Rocks!!! I have recently started looking for a new car and Justin Miller has been the greatest help. Justin has been nothing but patient with me as I try to decide what I truly want for a car. He always keeps me in the loop with new cars coming in. This will be the first car I purchase on my own so its a big deal for me. I would definitely buy a car from Justin Miller he is the greatest!!!
There was fresh coffee when I stopped in for an oil change. The chairs in the waiting room were comfortable. I also thought it was very cool that the showroom held a wide variety of different Ford cars. It was nice to be able to look at some of the cars while I waited.
Towed my truck to service center on a Sunday. Service department took 7 hours on Monday to call me back after 3 attempts to connect with my service technician. I was told they could not schedule an appointment until early November. Wasted an entire day. Worst customer service experience from a dealership.

My first experience with Baxter I thought would be my last, until James Sechser from Baxter contacted me. I called to make a service appointment on a recall for my Ford Escape. The service advisor and I had a miscommunication which resulted in a phone call from James and an opportunity for Baxter to adjust how they service their customers. I am going to schedule time to have my car serviced and will post again once they've had an opportunity to assist me. Thanks go out to James for listening to my concerns and making adjustments in how they do business with their customers as a result.
Baxter West has always had excellent follow up and attentive to the service appointments I have encountered. I had a Lexus for years but have to say I love my Edge.

I LOVE MY EXPLORER! More than that, I had a great experience working with Kyle Nicholson - he worked very hard to find a vehicle that would meet all my demands, while fitting in my price range! While I would love loved a fully loaded Expedition, I also didnt have that kind of budget! Kyle managed to find me an amazing Explorer Sport with low mileage - that has ALL the bells and whistles!!! He even drove to Lincoln to pick it up from another dealership for me! My brother bought a vehicle from Kyle as well....we continue to recommend him to all our family and friends!

Had a great experience with Kyle Hutchins, however, follow-up with the dealership itself has been horrible. As part of the deal, they offered free oil changes, but you can NEVER get an appointment. Now, my nearly new F-150 is having serious electronic issues and they are telling me they can't be bothered to get me in for an appointment to resolve this for MORE THAN A MONTH from now. Editing review to one star. I will never go back to Baxter again. Hire some service people.

Baxter Ford was an amazing experience for me, I personally dealt with Josh Bennett. At first I was told I couldn't get a car at all so I went home, I received a text from Josh the next day saying come back. A couple days later I was into my brand new (to me ) Ford Escape Hybrid. I went to the parts department at this location today at 2:42 to see if I could get my key-fob fixed. The women who helped me was completely rude and was acting like she didn't want to help me. I don't recommend going to this location or spending your money here.

They fixed my vehicle, but only after multiple weeks and trying multiple different parts that I had to pay for, only to find out that it was missing a minor gasket. At least they gave me a discount on all of the extra parts that I didn't need.

My experience at Baxter Ford was wonderful! I own a 2000 Ford Escort that I love since it gets incredible gas mileage and it's one of the few vehicles left on the road with a cassette deck in it. (It's okay to laugh here!) I have owned the car for 9 years, but it needed approximately $3,000.00 worth of repairs. Uncertain that my car was worth the money needed to fix it, I consulted with Mark, one of Baxter's service technicians, to consider my options. Mark was very helpful. He explained in depth what repairs would be needed, listened carefully to all of my concerns, and then helped me do some number-crunching in order to come to a decision. I hated the thought of having car payments again and Mark assured me that I had babied my car enough that I should get a few more years out of it with the needed repairs. (I appreciated him not laughing and promptly directing me to the "sales" department.) The repairs took 5 days, during which time Mark stayed in constant contact with me when new concerns came up. I can honestly say that I was impressed with the amount of care the service technicians gave my "not so fancy" car!
When I went to pick my car up I had a nice surprise... my final bill was only $2,445.00... about $600.00 less than I was expecting. The cashier that checked me out was a delight to chat with (she used to have the same car), and my "green machine" runs better than it ever has, and certainly sounds better than it has in 6 years. (It had a hole in the tailpipe.)
It is very difficult to find good customer service these days, especially in the vehicle industry, so I wasn't expecting much. Imagine my surprise when I found a company full of caring, competent people who are willing to listen, AND to take the time to fix up my "green machine" as if it were a new car.
Baxter Ford and all it's employees get five stars from me! They made a very stressful situation into a wonderful experience.
So on may 29-2018 I trade in my 2009 Dodge Charger for a 2007 Cadillac Escalade Sat in their office for the whole day until they got it approved Everything was good to go when I left there car lot at baxter ford .i was very happy with the choice I have made . But A week after having the vehicle they called and said my credit was not approved .I told him I was out of town due to my girlfriends mother being ill and on hospiceAt that time Brian told me not to worry about it and I do not have to bring my vehicle back he will do whatever he can to get it approved I have never heard anything back from him for about two weeks .. and still didn t hear from him so I talked to sales manager he said I would have to bring the car back .. I asked him if they sold my Dodge Charger bc my friend had seen it driving on the interstate he said no he was looking right at it . So I told him my brother would come trade the vehicle out and to have my car ready for my brother to pick up I then called 30 min later to see if my car was to be picked up . So my brother could go there luke one of the main guys at Baxter ford said we had a problem and said they have the keys to my car but no car my car was stolen offf there car lot I gave them the title to car the key to the car and they said it was my problem not there s I sign over the car to them they want there car back and only wanna give me 2000 dollars for my car that couldn t even pay to get the same car I had . And couldn t even get me in another car .. they also keep threatened me that they re going to report the vehicle i got from them stolen poor very poor customer services
Mike Swanson did a great job accommodating our questions and created a great buying experience for us. Really down to earth guy that shot straight with us on our purchase (a 2018 Subaru Forester). Highly recommend him and the team at Baxter.

Rodney Bates was helpful and in touch along the way. We had an F150 come from a different city and we had his help along the way. He also went through the loaner for personal belongings and made sure we got important items we accidentally left behind back. The sales experience was fast and to the point which I appreciate because I am busy. I felt like I got a great deal and we are happy with our truck. The only thing I wish had been explained better was the maintenance packages. Overall we were well taken care of and feel comfortable that we can go back with questions or concerns. Thank you!

I recently had significant car repairs made on my vehicle at BAXTER Ford. Unfortunately I was going to be without a vehicle for several days (which ended up being over a week); however THANKS to Tim Mangiameli, I was not vehicle less! He went out of his way to provide me with a vehicle to drive while my repairs were made! Someday when I am in the market for a new vehicle, I will DEFINATELY go to TIM!

Bought a used vehicle here several weeks ago. 2007 ford explorer. Price was acceptable based upon what I was getting. However after 50 miles of driving my MIL light illuminated. I got home and hooked it up to my code reader, which indicated a fault in the catalytic converter (code P0420). My scanner also picked up that the code had previously been cleared. Luckily upon further investigation i found an oxygen sensor to be the root of the problem. I'm a believer in coincidence, but I'm fairly certain this was the dealer's doing. Kind of a shame; dishonesty may make it easier to get your inventory off the lot, but being more forthcoming will get a return customer.
I wouldn't bother with any of the service contracts either; their offerings weren't ford-specific, I was offered a generic power train warranty that I am now skeptical of.
I don't usually buy my vehicles from dealerships, but overall I believe I received a fair deal on my vehicle. I just wish they had been more honest during the deal.
Edit 7/14/16- The vehicle they sold me also had a plugged tire that I needed to replace when the tread began to separate. Unsafe. This should have been covered in their 172 point "safety inspection." It was noticeable from the exterior of the tire. Additionally I had a worn ball joint from the time I purchased the vehicle- another potential safety risk. I can't trust their word here at Baxter Ford.
I bought my first Subaru Legacy from Baxter a few months back. My salesperson was Andrew Fauss and he was terrific! I had gone to a few places before Baxter and was barely approached by anyone. I had just pulled in the lot and was looking around when Andrew immediately came to see how I was doing. He was very knowledgeable and didn't pressure me into buying. After I found the Legacy and had test drove it, he spent the next few hours getting all the details figured out. This was my first big car buying experience and I was very nervous. He was very patient and upbeat during the whole process. He followed up with me after I bought my car and didn't hesitate to get everything fixed when the break light went out a week after buying. I was very surprised to be contacted by him a few days ago just to see how I was doing and how I was liking the car. Since it has been a few months since I bought it, I thought it was amazing of him to still be following up with me. You are very lucky to have a salesperson like Andrew. I have already recommended him to family and friends! Thanks so much Andrew for making my first car buying experience a positive one!

I took my Toyota Corolla into Baxter to get the oil changed. Had also been told at an earlier time that my brakes would probably need replaced. Adam took care of my oil but also told me I still had life left on my brakes and wouldn't need them replaced. It's nice to see the honesty in the service department and not just replace something because I thought it needed it. Thanks so much Adam!!!

I will never visit Baxter again for any reason, and I will tell anyone who is interested in buying a Ford to avoid Baxter. I have had good experiences with both Woodhouse (years ago) and Performance (after trying to get a car from this place). Those are much better alternatives in my opinion.
I visited Baxter Ford on a Tuesday (mid June 2014) with plans to purchase a specific car that was not on their lot. They told me they had one located at another Ford dealership a nearby city, and I should be able to have it by the following Friday or Saturday. I know buying a car takes time, but I didn't think I would be there for over 5 hours. Much of my time was spent waiting for my salesperson to get a response from others as he was trying to secure the vehicle at the other dealership. When we agreed on a price they started with the upsell. The undercoating didn't take too long, but then I got into the warranty sales pitch. At this point it was getting late. I needed to pick my wife up in 30 minutes and the guy kept going on, even though I told him I had to leave as soon as possible. I know now that they were taking full advantage of the situation. I left much later than I had intended and was over 30 minutes late picking up my wife. As if that experience wasn't bad enough, what followed next should be criminal.
I called on Friday to see when I could pick up my car the following day. They informed me that the car I had "purchased" was already sold and that I wouldn't be able to pick it up. Wow! So what was the point of keeping me at your dealership all night? I called the sales manager, Bill Jackson, to ask if it was too late to back out of the deal. I was concerned since I had already signed all the paperwork for the loan, title, etc. He told me it was null and void since all the paperwork was for that car. That is when I decided to go elsewhere.
But wait, there's more! A few months later (August), I received a call from Ford credit telling me they haven't received a single payment on my loan. I thought that was bizarre since I signed up on the web and set up payments on time. What I later found out was that I had two car loans through Ford. So not only did Baxter fail to deliver the car, they also essentially charged me for it. When I made the payments, I was paying on the wrong loan. That's because the first loan statement I received was for the car I didn't get. Since I was doing web payments, I never realized I was getting two separate statements. I contacted their general manager, Steve Oliver and explained everything on Thursday (8/28/14). He apologized and said he would get to the bottom of it. Today is September 3rd, nearly a week later and I still haven't heard back from him. I also still have both loans in my name.
We met Jake Schwarck at the Auto Show Friday evening and signed up for the $50 test drive Auto Show Promotion. We stopped in the dealership on Saturday as we were looking for a 3rd row vehicle for our growing family. Jake was very professional and very friendly to work with. We ended up trading in our leased vehicle for a 2017 dodge journey and I couldn't be more excited. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone looking to buy a new vehicle.

It took 5 min for someone to acknowledge me in the dealership. The car buying process went smoothly though they pushed us into a vehicle we couldn't really afford, then bent over backwards to get us a loan that would make it so we could afford it. While this is great, they had a hard time convincing a bank to take the loan so it took 3 weeks for the loan to go through and the car to become ours. Also the car was at a different dealership location and though they told us they would have it for us the next day no one called us to tell us they didn't have a driver and the car would arrive on Monday. Then there were scratches on the car and it was like pulling teeth to get something figured out so they would fix those. They did get that done, and then we were waiting on the loan, this took 3 weeks to go through and getting updates was like pulling teeth. It was like after we signed the paperwork we weren't important anymore even though the process was not complete. Our sales person was Dustin.
