Eric M was amazing. I asked for easy and smooth and that is exactly what he he did for me. I had picked a car, picked a price and that was all that I was asked to do. The paperwork and the car were both delivered with minimal requirements and with the current climate no risk at all. I couldn t have imagined such a smooth process with a car purchase, Baxter had surpassed my expectations by going above and beyond and I couldn t be more satisfied!

Let me preface this review by saying that I had the pleasure of working for Performance Auto Group in the past, selling luxury vehicles at one of their local dealerships.

Unfortunately Baxter Ford is my closest Ford dealer, and being only 4 miles from my house, I figured it would be the logical place to buy a brand new Mustang GT, since servicing the vehicle would be easy and convenient. My logic was wrong.

My initial experience when I started looking at Mustangs a couple of months ago started out badly. Sam is supposedly the top sales rep at the dealership according to his fellow employees. When I showed interest in a mustang and wanted to drive one, he grabbed a lot-porter-turned-car-salesman to ride with me who knew next to nothing about the car, let alone how to sell it. It was clear that because I wasn't going to "buy today", Sam had no interest in wasting his time with me. He didn't ask for my name or any of my contact info. He didn't even offer his business card. What a fantastic experience! But wait there's more!

I came back 2 months later, the title to my car in hand, ready to buy. Here's how that went down:

They held 1,000 in manufacturer rebates on the first pencil, offered no discount off of their soon-to-be previous generation mustang (2015 next generation mustangs are coming in the spring) they were trying to sell in the dead of winter, and offered wholesale value for my car. After much haggling and frustration, they still insisted the extra 1,000 in rebates did not exist, would not factor in my $500 student rebate, and insisted that my car was simply not worth even 80% of the NADA "Fair Trade" value. To top it all off, they were holding 1,000 above invoice, and lied to me, saying there is "only $200 in dealer holdback" (Atchley Ford showed me their invoice sheet, which had the value of dealer holdback at $1300...but we will get to that later!!!) This is after the 4th pencil, mind you.

A 2014 mustang. The dead of winter with snow coming the following weekend. A completely redesigned 2015 mustang about to be released....and we were still $6,000 apart. At this point I showed them the pictures I had taken of a model they had on the lot 3 weeks ago. Exact same options and price as the one I was trying to buy. Total discount for that car? $8000 right off the sticker. No questions asked.

When I asked Derrick (sales rep) why they couldn't do the same thing on this car, he told me that he and his manager knew absolutely nothing about the car. Then, his manager came over. He hadn't even sat down and the manager says "Yea, that red one we were discounting, I put the sales tag in that one myself" and then proceeded to give me excuses why they couldn't do a similar discount on this one.

After listening to this manager rant for 5 minutes, he left me with a fantastic parting statement:
"I don't say this to many people, but I really think you should try to go to another dealership like Woodhouse or Atchley and see if you can get this, I think that will really help you out, then maybe you will come back and see us".

The Following Day......

I took the managers advice and went down to Atchley Ford and bought a 2014 Mustang GT Premium with 50 miles on it for $6,000 less than Baxter ford was asking. Same exact car, same starting MSRP. I received the entirety of the $4000 manufacturer rebate, my $500 student discount, their car at invoice, my trade at fair value, and all of the dealer holdback. Guess what Baxter Ford? Looks like that $6000 we were apart Atchley somehow managed to find!!! To top it off, they took me seriously from the get-go and were a complete pleasure to deal with.

Baxter, here are two lessons to learn:

- Don't lie to a customer, especially not repeatedly (and ESPECIALLY not when that customer used to sell cars)
- Don't tell a customer to go to another dealer.

Made this appointment to have the tail light lens...

Made this appointment to have the tail light lens replaced due to water leaking in. Appointment made 6weeks in advance. I took the car in and left it and never received a call as to what was going on. Was told they tried..ok i will give them the benefit of the doubt. But then when i came back to see what was going on this was after I called and made them come and get me. I had made multiple attempts to contact them now standing in the service area I was told the part was ordered and I would have to bring it back. Really you had 6 weeks to order the part and have it ready. Do you not look at your appointments and plan for them or are we just a number $$ that you run through...So now I have to once again go through the frustration of taking my car back and hopefully getting it fixed this time . Only upside your shuttle drivers are the nicest and most empathic employees that you have. Need to get your phone etiquette revamped. Called and got voice mail each time. Frustrating to say the least never going to baxter west service dept. Again worst customer service I have experienced since delta 6 years ago. And I won't fly delta what does that tell you about my feelings for baxter west. This was the first time going to Baxter West ..it will also be my last time. What a waste of time.

Customer service is not dead at Baxter Ford! Great, friendly staff. I bought a used car from these guys and they delivered it to my house over 200 miles away. There were some mechanical issues with the car after delivered and they sent me a check to cover the costs to repair. These folks believe in taking care of their customers. Thank you Baxter Ford!

My girlfriend and I decided to look for another vehicle for her after her 2013 ford focus became to cumbersome to put any more money into. We were fortunate to have Kyle Nicholson as our salesman and would highly recommend him to everyone. Kyle went above and beyond for us, and dealt with all of our inquiries throughout our 2 day search; handling the sale with respect, courtesy, and immense patience...even willfully driving 100 miles to get a vehicle for us to see. We both agreed that if it was not for him being our salesman, we most likely would have looked elsewhere. Great Experience Overall and we are confident we will be very happy with our purchase, a 2015 CR-V LX!

I want to first start off by saying it takes either a very poor experience, or extremely positive one, for me to write a review. Thankfully this is the latter, as I had the best experience working with Baxter Ford for my recent purchase. I had been passively looking at Ford Fusions for over a year, have visited multiple Ford dealerships, but just wasn t completely confident purchasing from any of them. That s until I researched and connected with Baxter Ford.

I planned a trip to visit with family in Omaha, and had some extra time to myself. I visited the Baxter Ford website, and found a few vehicles that s met my requirements. I was fortunate enough when I called and asked to speak to anyone in sales to be connected to the GM, Matt Jacox. Since the intent was for me to drive with my girlfriend to Omaha and drive back my newest acquisition, I had to completely rely on the expertise and more importantly, the honesty of the sales team in describing and answering my questions about this vehicle. The experience of dealing with Matt at Baxter Ford was truly impressive.

Upon my arrival, on a very busy Saturday morning, I was greeted immediately and personally introduced to Matt. He sat down with me, to discuss the process and review all of my requirements, to ensure everything was covered. I was then introduced to the Internet Manager Kevin Putman, who I would be working with on the actual sale of the vehicle. I was able to test drive the desired vehicles, and given detailed information about each one. Kevin s knowledge of all of the specs, features, and technologies included was top notch. Above all, I was impressed with Kevin s patience, and detailed explanation to all of my questions, but also his true passion for helping his customer in any way he could. He has a unique quality of being able to develop a strong relationship immediately, and gain trust and confidence in anyone he comes in contact with.

Thanks to Kevin s remarkable knowledge and expertise, I was able to make a comfortable decision to purchase a 2018 Ford Fusion. Since I had such a positive experience working with Kevin, my girlfriend expressed interest in looking at options for a new vehicle purchase. Without having the intention of purchasing, or knowing which vehicle would meet her requirements, Kevin was able to narrow down some options. After test driving 5 additional vehicles, explaining which functionalities best fit her needs, she was able to move forward with her purchase of a 2018 Ford Edge. Kevin was also able to have a remote start installed same day, even though the person who handles these installations was leaving for the day.

After working with Kevin on our vehicle options, we sat down with Kevin and Matt to do a final review of our choices. They both wanted to ensure everything was covered, and we didn t leave any questions unanswered. My girlfriend and I individually met with the Sales Manager - Chip Kinder, who discussed our finance and warranty options with us. Chip was thorough in explaining everything related to financing, and warranty. He made sure we felt comfortable with our purchase, and had a detailed understanding of everything outlined in our finance agreements.

The overall experience was great. Each team member we interacted with was a pleasure to work with. Baxter Ford has a seamless system in place, and makes the daunting process of purchasing a vehicle, a simple and pleasurable experience.

All my future purchases will be with Baxter Ford. I highly recommend you visiting Baxter Ford, and see for yourself what sets them apart from the competition.

We just leased an Edge through Baxter Ford and dealt with Justin Miller, the Internet and Leasing Manager. Our experience from start to finish was easy, pleasant, and without the typical headaches that come with purchasing a vehicle. He was very responsive and did not give up until he found the exact vehicle we wanted. After several less than desirable dealings with other dealerships, we were very appreciative of how easy Justin made this for us. We would definitely return to Baxter Ford because of him!

Everybody has an attitude the communication skills are horrible I feel like they should have worn masks just for a simple oil change and all the extra warranty crap that I bought during my purchase of my new truck I can't even use on a simple scratch I was literally sold down the river at Baxter I will never ever go back to that place that place sucks I wouldn't recommend it to anybody for buying a new car getting an oil change or doing any type of business.

So we have to edit this review. Though our first car buying experience here was awesome, so awesome in fact that we decided to buy another
New vehicle two month's after our initial purchase.

Unfortunately for us the second car buying experience was, and is a complete disaster. We inquired, and pretty much bought the vehicle from the add online. I had to work so my wife went in to do everything in it paperwork wise. It was new year's eve, and the staff was nice enough to meet us new year's day to sign papers. That was awesome, but then the headache started. We got there new year's day to find out they changed the deal without telling us from the original deal, they claim that they all of the sudden couldn't get me on the deal, only my wife, we were literally between a rock, and a gard place because we traded my wife's car already, had to have the vehicle, and had no time at all to make a sound, and just decision if they had just contacted us about things, but they didn't, so we got screwed last minute. I will never purchase another vehicle from any Baxter dealership again.

On top of everything else, after getting the vehicle home I noticed that the original add had chrome wheels on the vehicle, but for some reason it had powder silver wheels on it which does not even match the vehicle. It looks ridiculous. The truck has the chrome package, with powder coated wrong color wheels. I tried to talk to my salesman Marquis Woods about it on 03/16/19, but I got poo pooed off and got no answer at all back as to why or anything else. It really sucks because we really liked Marquis Woods, and used him for the purchase of both vehicles, but the really bit us in the butt.

Long story short. If you dont want to get screwed, or get the the old last minute switch aroo pulled on you, just go somewhere else. It will save you a lot of headaches. We cannot even enjoy our new pickup, because all it is, is hard feeling, and a left over feeling of getting taken advantage of. Run while you still can.

I had a very good experience at Baxter Ford. My salesmen Daniel Peters was very knowledgeable and helpful when picking out my car. He found a few cars for me that sounded like I would like, and stayed in my budget. He was not pushy so I felt comfortable with him. I also had a good experience with the service department, worked with Nick along with others. They where very helpful and polite. I will be going back to Baxter for my oil changes in the future.

First time purchasing a vehicle from this location and have to say it was a great and fun experience. The reason for such experience was Meg Reckling. She was very professional, personable and knowledgeable without the pressure we all are oh so used to when looking/shopping for a vehicle. She was also fun to interact with which put me at ease looking at the dealership s inventory. If I m in the Omaha area next time it s time to find a new truck I m going straight to Meg at Baxter Ford West Dodge!

Unethical practices and being dishonest.....Ahhhh, the good old days of dealing with slimy used car sales is back! Baxter Ford, what can I say good about them? They had good air conditioning on the sales floor on a very hot day, that's about it. I dealt with the salesman Abel (not sure if that's correct spelling).

First, don't every trust what they put on their website. Had a 2010 mustang listed for $17,999, good looking color, so what the heck.....lets go for a test drive! The car itself was fine and drove well, so I thought their asking price of $17,999 was a fair price to start negotiations, and I would use my car/trade as the down payment. Said over and over that I wasn't going to put anymore down, and would finance the rest. Knowing the price before hand, and having my tablet with me as well, I kept asking the price and heard "I'll check" over and over. Finally came back and said $22,999. I asked if he was sure, and after giving info about my trade, he came back.....and for me (well gee, how nice) the price was only $21,999! WOW! Oh, and the monthly payment they presented included a 20% down payment in addition to my trade.....which I found to be disgusting as I told them several times trade only, no cash down.

So when I looked at the listing on my tablet it was still $17,999, and I verified the stock number, miles, year etc....it was the same car, but when the web page reloaded, guess what? The price mysteriously changed to $22,999!

I asked about this and they of course said "we don't change that here." Never did deny changing it, but told me the manager was "looking into what happened." I attempted to leave, but of course they wanted me to wait for the manager. I waited about 5 minutes while the salesman tried to make small talk. Needless to say I was very disappointed and knew the old bait and switch was in full swing. I then got my personal information they wrote down, got the keys to my car, and left.

This is by far the worst experience I have had at a dealership, even worse than Lake Manawa, which is saying a lot. Avoid this place at all costs. I wouldn't take a car if they gave me one for free. Baxter Ford should add unethical and dishonest disclaimers to their "about us" section.

Chad Bloodworth helped me with the purchase of my new 2013 Focus ST. I couldn't ask for a more helpful and knowledgeable sales person. He was very patient and genuinely concerned that I get the car of my dreams. The finance team was very helpful and easy to work with. RECENT UPDATE: Sorry for such a long post, but this is the most recent one. My dream car has always been a Dodge Challenger (yes, I'm sorry) and I simply cannot thank Dustin Lair enough for taking the time, and patience, on finding the perfect one. We ended up finding a 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat SRT that was purple and most importantly, a manual. He went above and beyond on this one...and I'm more than happy with it! We are sad to learn that he is leaving and we will miss him. He's done such a wonderful job! I recommend anyone who goes in within the next couple of weeks, to stop by and talk to him.

NEW UPDATE: I purchased the 2018 Ford Expedition Platinum Max back in November. All things were going well until the beginning of January. I started having all sorts of issues with the computer/electrical system. We contacted Dustin Lair, who s been helping us since the beginning, to see if we can get that fixed. Turns out they had the same one but in black. It was an easy transition between the two vehicles. Everyone there worked with us to make the trade-off worth it and simple. I m never disappointed with the customer service. I will recommend this Baxter Ford location and Dustin to anyone who asks where I got my vehicle from!

(OLD REVIEW) Dustin Lair went above and beyond to help my husband and I out with purchasing our new 2018 Ford Expedition Platinum Max. We called asking about it and he made it possible/easy for us to get the sale and paperwork going over the phone. It was such an easy transition from that point to us meeting the next afternoon. All the hassles of paperwork were eliminated (for the most part, anyways!). We couldn t be more happier with the service that Dustin provided and we re loving our new vehicle. Thanks again!

I had a slow leak in a tire and needed to get it looked at before the busy weekend approaches. I thought stopping at a local tire shop would be my quickest route. They were busy and couldn't look at it until tomorrow. I have been getting my car serviced at Baxter Ford on West Dodge but didn't think they did tire repairs. Boy, was I wrong. I called them up and learned they take walk in's until 4:30pm on a week day. I drove up and not only did I get looked at right away, but the wonderful Service Advisor (Nick Kennedy) spotted I had a recall that needed to get done as well. Nick was awesome and really treated me like family there. I really appreciate the quick response and efficient job Nick and his technicians showed this afternoon. What a great asset he is to Baxter Ford. Best service in Omaha. I will never try another local shop in town again. Thank you Nick Kennedy for taking care of me and my family today!!

I had a great experience leasing a vehicle through Baxter Ford, specifically with sales rep Nick Kennedy. He was a pleasure to work with, answered most of my questions before I could even ask them, and was accomodating as I needed wheels before the end of the weekend. We were able to work out a deal where I was able to sign & drive that day without finalizing the deal. My co-signer wasn't able to make it in until two days later, but Nick was very accomodating to me. I really appreciate the excellent customer service and the flawless experience, and would recommend Nick Kennedy and Baxter to anyone looking for a new car to lease/buy.

Well we went to Baxter Ford and thought we had bought an '11 Ford F150 FX4. Come to find out that our loan had changed without our knowing. We left with the truck thinking it was a done deal, no idea that we were not actually approved. So I ended up giving the truck back to Baxter. I will say that Daniel Hernandez, who was our salesman, was very personable and definitely made us feel welcome. It is because of Daniel that we ended up going back and renegotiating the terms. We finally agreed on the terms and I now own this amazing truck. So in closing I will say that Daniel was what brought us back and turned a bad situation into a great one. Its nice being able to find a car salesman that is genuine and isn't just out to get commission. So all in all, Baxter made up for their indiscretions and I am a happy customer.

Baxter Ford treated me very well. Kyle sold me a used vehicle and went the extra mile by filling the gas tank, and offering to bring it in for detailing. Unfortunately I didn't have time to spare for the detailing offer. Although I was treated well, after telling me it went though their vehicle inspection with out any major issues, I took it into my auto repair shop to get the oil changed (Keep in mind I have been going to this place for a long time and they wouldn't do any more work than what needs to be done.) I found out it needed new brakes, struts, sway bars, and the transmission fluid needed to be exchanged. One thing that had been done was the timing belt had already been replaced the previous year. After contacting Steve Oliver, the GM, he apologized that safety issues were overlooked such as the breaks and sway bars. Steve proceeded by offering to pay for those expenses. I believe that Steve went above and beyond expectations to make it right. For as many vehicles that go through that lot it is reasonable to understand that things could be missed, but nevertheless I will return to Baxter again. Issues happen and Baxter Ford handled it very well.

We were going to purchase the vehicle locally in Hastings, NE where we live. But in discussing things with Salesman Dan Peters he was able to detect our wants and needs and fit us with a 2012 Ford Escape which was more easily towable. We were able to close

My salesman Eric Maynor did a great job listening to my needs and wasnt pushy and i loved that. If you are looking to buy a car hassle free go on in and ask for Eric Maynor or Andrew Fauss or if you preffer service in spanish you cant go wrong with Abel Thomas.

I have purchased cars from a number of dealerships, and I had a really good experience here. I am a seasoned car buyer and they referred me to Jeff Novak. He was kind, kept it simple, and went out of his way to make the experience positive. I would buy a car here again.

Kyle Seefus, was on target withal of his email and internet communication with me. he exceed my requirements of what I was looking for, listen to what my needs are, cared about all the detailed information I shared with him. We where customers of Baxter in the early 2000's but we stop buying cars due to bad sales person. I have to say that I am very pleased with the whole crew starting with Kyle, Chip, Jeff, Bret and most of all Jowell.

I would buy again from Baxter because of Kyle.

I worked with David Brock, to find the perfect '16 F150. I can personally vouch that he was very nice to work with. Unlike every other dealer in town David actually stayed within my budget and didn't try to up-sell me on things I told him I didn't care about. David was also very patient, we were working back and forth for several weeks trying to find the perfect vehicle, finally he called and said they had one that had everything I wanted and was within my budget.... I came in a few hours later and picked it up. I want to reiterate that David was very professional, a pleasure to work with, and made the overall car buying experience something that no longer needs to be dreaded. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new vehicle call David.

Whoever washed my car on 07/15/2019 at 11:30 am did a terrible job! They left water sitting on my vehicle. Which then leaves marks on my car! Terrible worker/service whoever it was needs fired-they get paid to wash cars and I had to come home and do it myself.

I loved my 2013 Fusion from Baxter Ford. Then I was hit head on by a driver who crossed the center line. Baxter helped me through the process of replacing my car at my pace. (A brand new 2015 Ford Fusion!!!!)
This is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased from Baxter with my husband. They were polite, helpful, caring and provided great service from the first hello to service after the sale.
I won't go anywhere else for a vehicle.
My father in law saw the pictures of my vehicle and said "that car saved your life". My Fusion did everything if should in an accident. Crumple zones, air bags, seat belts it was amazing. The drivers air bag deployed from the steering wheel, the knee airbag deployed, the seat belt tensioned. After impact the car began sounding the horn to alert other drivers, turned on the hazard lights, stopped the engine, displayed my gps location and called 911 for me. I will never leave Ford. Because of Ford's safety technology I went home the same night I had a head collision with another car.
I love Ford and I love the service at Baxter Ford. When you are ready for your Ford call Tim Mangiameli at Baxter Ford Omaha!!!!

Working with Anna Morrison @ Baxter Ford South was simply wonderful! I was upgrading my car, and was nervous because I hadn't bought a car in 11 years. I always go to Baxter Ford South for maintenance on my old car, so that's where I insisted on buying a lightly used car. Anna asked me a few questions about what I wanted, and what I felt comfortable spending. I felt reassured in the buying process immediately. Baxter Ford South does something like a 179 point safety check on all their lightly used cars. She took me on the lot to look at about 5 choices in my category to find the perfect car for me. Anna was great 100% I found the perfect car for me in my price range. In fact, Anna went the extra mile with research on the cars I looked at so that my new "used" car fits me like a glove. She showed me other cars too so that I could make a comparison choice. That was smart, because then I knew I was getting the best one for me, and therefore I wouldn't question my decision later on. Anna is simply the best! I didn't feel any pressure to spend more than my budget either. In fact, I've never been treated so honestly by a sales-person before in any capacity. Anna's effective, and cheerfully expert at what she does. I felt safe, well-taken care of, and very very happy with my experience! I love my new beautiful car! Thank you so much Anna!!!

5 Stars!! I would give more if it were possible! I HIGHLY recommend this dealership for any or all of your car buying needs. I just want to say my sales guy, Ambrose ESPECIALLY excels in customer service and was very, very accommodating and understanding to my car needs. He went above and beyond to help me get into my new 2015 Kia Optima. I searched high and low at other dealerships for the right color, mileage, etc and I found what I wanted right here. Not to mention at a fantastic price! Him and (I believe his name was Kirk or Kurt) worked very hard to get me what I wanted at a good deal. Even let me drive a very nice rental for a few days! Can't beat that. I am so glad I chose to work with Baxter Ford West Dodge. After buying my car from Baxter La Vista I ve had work done on it at their ford location in Omaha. Their service was fantastic despite the problems my car has had since I bought it. Jojo, my service advisor was nothing less than perfect; she provided me a rental when my transmission got fixed as well as being able to give me an early appointment for my ac compressor to be fixed on a different time. Had I not purchased the used car warranty maybe my experience would be a bit different, as well as no doubt expensive however with the warranty I bought when I got my first car it s helped me a ton. The only downfall I have in relation to Baxter is their la vista location (I d give them 3 stars tbh)... whom didn t mention to me I needed to get my transmission fixed at their ford location as well as the manager who sold me the car... for I asked specifically if there was any problems the car had that I may need to know. A transmission problem and the ac not working would have been nice to know before hand when I bought it in February). Baxter Ford West Dodge however has given me a splendid experience, and I ll currently continue to go to their location for future service needs.

SERVICE BEWARE, TOTALLY SERIOUS!
I rated this 1* a while ago and it was never added. Here's why:
I took my truck to have brakes services. It went from $250 to $525! And my brakes STILL squeak in the back.
But that's not the worst part.
I picked my truck back up, got off the free way to hear a rattling sound. So I asked Randy to take a look at it, he had a mechanic come and look at it. At the drop of a hat, he checked the oil and he pointed to a metal shaving on his glove(not even where the oil was, do i was suspicious as hell.) He said it was in BAD shape..
Not having a loaner car, I took my chances and checked my oil every trip over 5 miles. NO METAL SHAVINGS TO BE FOUND!
I took my car to be serviced even though I can find my way around any thing mechanical, I don't have the time...
So I dropped my own oil and used a high powered magnet. STILL no metal shavings to be found!
I thought taking it to a DEALERSHIP I would have reputable technicians work on my truck without the bogus scams auto sold are known for...
I had a second opinion, changed out my pulleys and belt and everything is back to working condition.
BEWARE OF DAVID. A scam artist if I ever seen one.
Not only did it cost me time, but it will cost them a never returning customer!
I wouldn't go back if my trucks life depended on it. Never!

Honesty, Integrity and Professionalism are the only words to use to describe Tim and how he treated myself and my family when we bought our 2012 Ford Focus Titanium from him and Baxter Ford. We went to a competitor at first and got lied to and insulted by the salesman. Tim gave us a fair value on our trade-in, worked real hard to get us a deal that was fair and equitable to us and Baxter Ford. If you are in the market to buy a Ford, go see Tim at Baxter Ford. He'll give you the treatment you deserve and make the car buying experience a pleasure.
