Light on Disney strong on good service facilities and relaxation
Price is very high at the restaurants in fact even in the shops the only thing I liked about it is the swimming pool the jacuzzi and the view of the ocean
I booked a two room villa for a whole family vacation. Resort and rooms are beautiful but the other stuff not so much. Amenities that are listed are not available all the time. We had a power outage first day here no tv and poor WiFi for the rest of our 7 day stay. Nothing for kids watch on their down time. You can get Disney dvd to watch but only if your DVD player works. Food is very over priced. The cabinet door above out stove fell off and hit me while I was cooking and when informed staff they just took it and laid it inside cabinet and said they will fix after we leave. Light in second bathroom doesn t work and when we and we asked to fix it. The guy showed us how to play with light bulb til it worked. If we wanted to deal with broken stuff we could have stayed home and saved the 1200 a night. Many character events we wanted to attend were cancelled because people call in sick. We were here 7 days and the kids never got to do pool party with characters which is advertised when you are looking at booking in the activities part. Not many characters around and hard to find. Have to call a number every morning to find out where they will be and you have to write it all down. They do not print it. There were to many small annoying things that should not happen that I don t think it is worth your money. Nothing is cheap or free here expect to spend a lot more when you get here. Double what you think you will spend. Went to luau and it was a poorly done show. The sound guy must be new. I enjoy shows but It was terrible disappointed in this one. The food there I didn t find to be authentic Hawaiian. Just like buffet from back home. Pool area is very slippery when the rocks get wet. Slipped when I was carrying my grand daughter. I saw many people fall and hit head. Very dangerous. Nobody cleans pool during the day. In hot tub found coach roaches floating in there. Also all outer doors stay open even they thru night. Not once did we need a key card to open it. Any one can come in.
amazing. buy a refillable mug for 18.99 for drinks throughout your stay.
Everything you would expect in a Disney resort. That said, it needs more to impress me.
If you can aford well then its a great place to stay but if you are like most of us its great for day trips, great staff great shops nice quiet beach
Aulani is a beautiful resort. Lots of pools and things to do.. relax and enjoy.
The staff were very good, polite, and made sure that my time there was stress-free
Great place for kids. Far far away from the hustle and bustle of waikiki.
Absolutely amazing experience. Rooms were nice and clean with amazing views of the mountains and the ocean. Ko Olina is an area I felt really safe in, I walked across the street at night to go to the little mall and felt extremely safe. After COVID-19 ends, I ll be heading here yearly.
Beautiful resort! Only visited for a couple of hours. I wish that it was where I was staying!
Although I didn't stay there, I went their for the buffet with my friends. It's amazing and I can't wait to take my kids to stay. The buffet could have a bigger selection for the price they charge, they should do like Vegas style. They do have characters coming around your table to take pictures with you. You can go to their beach and just hang out.
This is a wonderful place to bring kids and family. The entire staff is super friendly, and all the amenities are great. Auntie's beach houses especially nice to drop the kids off for a day while the adults go and have some time alone.
OVERRATED!!!!!!!! They charge you for everything!!! Wouldn t even let my kid get a pic with a character, because I didn t pay for the $50 breakfast. All that after charging $900-$1200 a night for the room. Stay at the Ko olina Villas next door, half the price and twice as nice!
Disney the best of the best for family everything swim dine fun for everyone very expensive but very worth it
One of the nicest resorts on the island. Expensive? Yes. Location? Kind of isolated. But the service and the experience is top notch. Definitely would revisit.
Amazing resort in all aspects. Very expensive, but everything is just about perfect. Great pools, food, private beach, and activities for the whole family.
Love it here! Everything is pristine and breathtaking. The rooms are decorated quite beautifully.
I stayed for 8 days last week.
It was the best luxury.
I can see the character, and the sunset was quite powerful.
The pool does not get tired even if it is all day long
It was delicious.
The children also had a good time touching the real English. The beer we had on the terrace of the room was the ultimate luxury. I will go again.
A beaultiful resort. Had a really great time here. The staff is super friendly. Make time for the lazy river.
First time here, great place with amazing food and views.
Went for character breakfast it was Amazing... I love the service and food.
Its beautiful and they have lots of things to do for kids. Service is good and on request they even serve Halal meat.
Service, rooms, food all served with Aloha! View from Ama Ama Restaurant
23rd Wedding Anniversary. Had an amazing time. Can't wait to go back.
Everything was nice and beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly. They were able to accommodate all of the dietary needs within our party. The character breakfast was awesome! All the kids loved it including the adults. Rooms not as spacious as we would've liked but they were still nice. Next time we'll opt for a villa just to give the kids a little more elbow room. The gift shop offered a wide range of gifts and there were eateries nearby that offered a variety of options. The pools, lazy river and lagoon were a hit with our kids. There was a beautiful wedding taking place on the beach which was wonderful. Although there was construction nearby at another hotel, it was not as loud as we expected. Also, they had pool games that the characters played with the kids. However, I think the adults were having just as much fun; I know ny party did. We were close to Waikiki and Pearl Harbor which was nice since we rented a car. Being there for a week alowed us to explore tge island. All in all, if you plan it right, adults and kids can enjoy what the resort and nearby activities have to offer. We will definitely stay again.
Aulani has few Japanese people. I ca n t even talk. Probably a personal experience and subjectivity.
Recommended resort for those who want to relax. But if you want to fully enjoy the city and other sightseeing events, other places are good. If you stay with your family, it is better to have a large room.
And basically the rice isn't good, so breakfast is better off the monkey pod right out of the hotel. We had lunch in the city for a week because there are some good restaurants in Honolulu. The tour was mostly in Honolulu, so there wasn't much of a problem, but the taxi costs were high. So it would be nice if someone could drive.
Great breakfast and dinner buffet and great service
This was my second visit and the level of service is slipping. Had an employee retaliate after complaining about service issues. Food quality was hit or miss. Rooms and location are amazing.
Very clean rooms, helpful staff, and a beautiful atmosphere.
Great place to stay, lots for the kids to do. Beach lagoon was super calm and looked amazing. I would have given this the full five stars if it wasn t for the wifi which was so bad, only accessible from hallway and one end of the room, once it got to the evening it was non existent most days :(
We took our daughter to have breakfast with the characters for her 7th birthday. She had a blast! The food was ok, not great, but we went there mainly for the experience.
It is absolutely beautiful and has an awesome pool area, but it closes at 8pm, so that is kind of lame.
Many of the amenities were limited, but the pools were clean and uncrowded, and the beaches quiet and serene
Thanks for letting me and my family stay it was awesome and I hope to come back!!
i wish i could go but this place too expensive lol r.i.p
With Covid-19, they lack instruction for checking in procedures. They don't post changes to dining rules or hours, your left guessing.
The food. Was great. Felt. Like you were on the mainland

Came here for the character Breakfast and wish we stayed here for our whole trip. The resort looks amazing. Plan on coming here in a couple of years when my daughter is a little older.
The resort is beautiful and our stay was wonderful. Making a reservation at 'Ama'Ama to enjoy the sunset is a must (the tuna poke and crab cake appetizers were the best part of the meal).
So expensive. But so amazing. Get your beach chairs early.
Make A Wish South Florida made it happen for us so clearly we didn t have a single issue. But it s Disney in Hawaii, of course it s great!!! You don t need to leave the resort, but you re in Hawaii so it s a must!! Place is epic!! Mahalo guys!! Shaka!
Very nice, great resort but overall a but pricey truthfully for what you get
Children's paradise, adults are comfortable and I hope the food is better. If you are diligent, you can enjoy the camping atmosphere on the grill.
I want to visit again
The only thing missing is some sort of Starbucks situation!!
It feels like a shame Disney, and it is in a distant place, but it has a very atmosphere.
The best of the best when it comes to service and quality of everything. Disney really goes all out.
Dinner with Disney characters are surely fun for the kids. But Mickey isn't there.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights at the tail end of our honeymoon in Hawai'i. It was an perfect way to end an amazing trip. I only docked one star because it's SO expensive, as expected with Hawai'i (expensive already) plus Disney (always an upcharge). How do I review such a magical experience? We had two buffet meals with characters and two meals at Ama Ama, the restaurant overlooking the beach. It was delicious! The buffets are great for kids, as there are activities for them to parade around the restaurant with the characters. Ama Ama is beautiful and the food was similar to the buffet. The lazy river is scenic, has enough variety, and also is sufficiently lazy. The beach is in a lagoon and is calm and safe. If you stand on the right spot on the rocks and your timing is just right, you can even see dolphins or turtles. There are free boogie boards to rent and you can pay to rent stand up boards to go out on the lagoon. There are also a couple free activities around the resort, as well as activities you can pay extra for. If you're a Disney Vacation Club member, you have even more perks. There are scavenger hunts around the resort and special craft times. They're happy to sell you DVC shares there too if you want to sit through the timeshare presentation. All in all a great resort experience! I would maybe go again in the future with kids but not any time soon.
Went to buffet. Was a mixed bag. Some was OK like the soup. I asked for rare prime rib, got well done. Sashimi didn't taste too fresh, kind of mushy. Kind of expensive for what I got. Service was good, very helpful.
Great place if you have kids and Hawaii is breathtaking
The best resort for families with elementary children
Great experience! Parking should be free if you're a guest though
Really fun set of pools. Nice selection of pool food and drinks. Very clean and quiet rooms. Beach in a mostly private lagoon next door to the Four Seasons.
Activities are kid friendly. Characters come out and you get to meet and greet with them. Character breakfast books up fast so you should call before you get there or as soon as you get there to reserve a spot. Other kid was not that great. You have to leave the resort to find good local food. Hotel room and service very good. All staff very friendly. Can rent pool and beach stuff.
Great for check in place for family bonding pleasures and leisure time short vacation with little children. A Wonderful experiences for various parties functions. Sure you will love it.
Always a wonderful Disney experience at aulani. We are Disney vacation club members and come here every year. Always the best service on the island
Aulani Resort is awesome. The staff, the rooms, the pools, and the gorgeous landscaping along with the beauty of Oahu blend to give you an amazing family vacation.
Attention to detail is amazing. Very well put together resort
This is our second stay here. Previous was 4 years ago and we were amazed by it. Not so much this time. The staff is friendly however we did not receive our lei greeting. Ama ama was good but over priced for what you received. Brittany was our server and she was awsome. Disappointing that there is no DVC discount on food. Have 3 teens and basically no activities for them except on the weekend. Rooms need a deep clean, I plugged in stuff at the desk to charge and the cord was unplugged so pulled desk out a little bit and everything is covered in dust. Water stains on all the corners of shower door and all faucets. They are just over looked. Went to have a drink at the bar oleo and the bar tenders were just rude. We were sitting down waiting for our drink and they asked us to move for another Parton that came in after us and seated us in front of their prep station. There was not even room to have my glass on the bar. Shaved ice was great. Marcus an uncle did a wonderful cultural tour and was a great story teller. He made our trip. My kids are teens (16 and 14)and could not even check out a DVD by them selfs I had to accompany them every time. I own here. Beautiful resort but a few things have been over looked.
Limited restaurants. HAWAII focus not Disney. Good for kids.
Went to the luau at the Aulani and it was great . Show was really good and the music was great. Will see it again next time I come to Hawaii. The property looks nice too maybe next time I will stay there too.
Excellent place. Coming the family is what. Better m
Amazingly great time. Great room with huge balcony and kitchen.
Wonderful escape! Lots of pool space even when it is busy.
