I booked a two room villa for a whole family vacation. Resort and rooms are beautiful but the other stuff not so much. Amenities that are listed are not available all the time. We had a power outage first day here no tv and poor WiFi for the rest of our 7 day stay. Nothing for kids watch on their down time. You can get Disney dvd to watch but only if your DVD player works. Food is very over priced. The cabinet door above out stove fell off and hit me while I was cooking and when informed staff they just took it and laid it inside cabinet and said they will fix after we leave. Light in second bathroom doesn t work and when we and we asked to fix it. The guy showed us how to play with light bulb til it worked. If we wanted to deal with broken stuff we could have stayed home and saved the 1200 a night. Many character events we wanted to attend were cancelled because people call in sick. We were here 7 days and the kids never got to do pool party with characters which is advertised when you are looking at booking in the activities part. Not many characters around and hard to find. Have to call a number every morning to find out where they will be and you have to write it all down. They do not print it. There were to many small annoying things that should not happen that I don t think it is worth your money. Nothing is cheap or free here expect to spend a lot more when you get here. Double what you think you will spend. Went to luau and it was a poorly done show. The sound guy must be new. I enjoy shows but It was terrible disappointed in this one. The food there I didn t find to be authentic Hawaiian. Just like buffet from back home. Pool area is very slippery when the rocks get wet. Slipped when I was carrying my grand daughter. I saw many people fall and hit head. Very dangerous. Nobody cleans pool during the day. In hot tub found coach roaches floating in there. Also all outer doors stay open even they thru night. Not once did we need a key card to open it. Any one can come in.
