Very rude and dishonest. Towed my car illegally and they are cronies of Pasco County. This business should be shut down by the DOT. Beware if your car is towed by these crooks you will pay huge while your vehicle is held hostage. They only accept cash because they are so dirty.
Always dependable, honest and courteous employees. When most types come from sudden major issue with our auto, not having drama for a tow is most appreciated.
Rude! I called this company and a woman answered, after asking about a tow she proceeded to forward me to a recording. Should have just said something, very unprofessional.
It s unfortunate that there isn t a NO star for this company. The girl that answers the phone is one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to. I waited 2.5 hours with a 2 year old for their service and they never did show. Their services were contracted through my insurance company and I am making efforts to have this contract pulled as I m sure State Farm does not want this company representing them in anyway. Best advice to anyone thinking about using this company is try else where with someone that has better ratings as this seems to be a constant problem.

I was referred to this company. When I called the dispatch receptionist is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and just plain HORRIBLE! She is rude and looking at the reviews, this has been an issue for a while now.

The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. No type of customer service at all. Waited 4 hours and they never showed up and this happen 2 days in a row since my roadside assistance kept calling them for the job... They are rude and have no respect for customers.
My tow truck operator was Ben who helped me tonight and I couldn t be anymore pleased he made it to me early and got right to work which lead to me getting home at a decent hour! He was very polite and professional and had some funny stories to tell as well. I would 100% recommend him to anyone of my friends or family. Thanks again Ben.

Worst customer service ever! ETA was an hour and 15 minutes ago and still not here. I called two times. The first time the receptionist said the driver was just down the street from me so I waited 30 minutes before I called the second time. When I did call the second time the receptionist said the order wasn't in her system and that it just came through so I had to wait 10-15 minutes more for the driver to get here. Why didnt she tell me that the first time I called??? And why did I get a message saying the ETA??? Anyways I told her if he wasn't here by that time frame then I would call another towing company. Still waiting to see if he get here..... by the way the receptionist was rude! And she hung up on me. Atlas you need a better customer service rep.
Towed my brothers vehicle I bought him, and wouldnt release it without me personally bringing physical title which I didnt have at the time and I live 6 hours away. I had electronic and they wouldnt accept it to release to my insurance company. I had to take off work and drag my kids in a 12 hour round trip drive to deal with this and still cant get paper title with DMV being closed..
They broke my transmission delivering my truck and treated me like a dog in the process over it. Do NOT do business with these crooks.
Pd 150 for towing no problem. She then said charged wrong. Pd 71.45. in the office.. Toltal ,221.45. She said it will be around 3:00pm tow to my house, which is 4.7 miles. Cool When I got home I received a call from Atlas telling me they billed me wrong. I am like AGAIN!!. I went around an around to being upset. I asked is the 71.45 included in the 128, she did not an could not explain, for I kept asking, finally she said very rudely, I could not have could not get my car till I pay another 128. She just hung up on me. I proceed to keep calling for answers, put on hold, never came back. Finally I paid 128 with my card. I also asked to pls explain these billing receipts. She as well got frustrated. She totally me somethings. I told her some of these charges are redundant. Grand total was
$349.45. I guess will have to another tow co

Ive had to be towed many times because of the condition of my car. My driver was jim. The best experience ive had. Very polite n professional. I am a young woman and i was by myself and he made me feel comfortable and safe. Goid job atlas. Thank u jim!
I was waiting for diesel fuel at the Speedway at 54 and Bruce B Downs this afternoon when I noticed an Atlas Towing truck unattended at the pump. 10 mins later the driver returned FROM THE BURGER KING ACROSS THE STREET. A total lack of courtesy and respect for the public.

My sister was in a accident with bad head injuries and had to be rushed to the hospital to the trauma center so they had to come tow her car less than 20 miles and charged her $240. Even AAA was shocked at how much they charged. On top of that they had went through her car and wallet and stole all the cash she had in there. THEY REALLY SUCK AND I REALLY REALLY DONT RECOMMEND THEM. If i could give them 0 stars I would!!!

My car broke down right outside of their gate. I called Geico who referred me to this company. I was advised to contact dispatch for an ETA. I immediately called dispatch and spoke with a rude dispatcher. When I asked about an ETA, I was informed that the drivers "were not sitting around waiting for me to call." Well duh lady as I was not expecting my car to stall on my way to work. Very unprofessional at a time that a person is in need. Definitely will not use in the future. I would give zero stars if I could.
Had a blowout on my tahoe on rte 52 about 10mi east of rte 41, Just before sunset. Russ arrived eventually and after trying unsuccessfully to access my spare tire, he loaded my tahoe on his dolly. I'm so thankful for his assistance in getting my vehicle and myself home safely.
I ve had my car battery jumped 3 times today and after this last time, my power steering felt like it was going out and my car was behaving as if it weren t running. As a result, I requested a tow through my dealership roadside assistance. They sent Atlas and he was there within 10 minutes of the request. He got the car up very fast and had me at the dealership in no time. I wish I d remembered his name because he was great & very professional. I d definitely use this company again in the future.

Had a Tow from these guys on Saturday, had a small discrepancy with charge, called up location, Joan the owner got on phone and took care of everything--- GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE - no issues on the tow - get so used to fighting with people to do the right thing it was great just having the issue resolved immediately-- can't say enough good things about this
Driver was nice and they came sooner than expected. This was an 11 mile tow covered by my insurance. They called me 2 days later saying it was 21 miles and I owed them $40. I told the lady I asked the insurance company before I had the vehicle towed if it was completely covered and that it was only 11 miles. She then accused me of acting like I didn't know what she was talking about and said she was putting a lein on my vehicle and license. All in a 3 minute conversation. She never even have me the chance to call the insurance company and sort out the problem. Very rude right off the bat from the moment I answered the phone.
It only took 30 minutes to get to our car! Very nice driver who made things easy! Overall a great experience!
They only have one truck for towing locally. If the driver gets a more important job they take it and ignore you. Don't use them. Don't let your roadside assistance company use them.
For a towing yard the front desk lady was actually super friendly and helpful when helping us with our vehicle that was taken there after an accident.

We called Atlas Towing over Stepps and boy what a horrible decision that was! Wait time "45 minutes" my butt!
Our first call we were told there was a 45 minute wait time so we went ahead and told them to cone on out.
We called an hour later to see how much longer it was, were told they were on their way, then promptly hung up on.
Called 30 minutes after that, "they will be there 10 to 15 minutes at the most!" Then she hung up (that was after an hour and 30 minutes of waiting for a "45 minute tow").
Called 20 minutes after the "15 minutes max" and we're put on hold, then told "he's on his way" in a very rude tone and hung up on.
Over 2 hours from when we called and we're still waiting! We'll never be using Atlas towing again to be sure!
Waited an hour more than the time they said they would arrive. Will not recommend them to anyone.

Waited for an hour for tow truck. Called when it was 10 minutes late just to get an update. Either Taylor/Kayla answered the phone. She told me the truck was en route and 10 minutes away.
15 minutes passed and I called back to check. First, she let the phone ring and then hung up. Then she sent me straight to voicemail. When she finally picked up, the same girl told me they were busy and I was rude for calling.
I asked to speak to her manager and she told me she was the owner.
I cancelled the tow.
10 minutes later I got a call from the tow truck driver telling me he was in Dade City. (I was stranded in Land O Lakes). Clearly not 10 minutes away ... Clearly Ms. "Owner" had no idea where her trucks were ...

The driver arrived quickly and did a great job loading my car, confirming the destination address, and dropping off with great care and consideration. Tow was scheduled through Nissan the driver showed up backed up to my car sit in the truck a few minutes got out told me he had a call for a wreck he would be back in 30 minutes..2 hours later I called the number on the text message told the lady my name and what happened she started I know, I know was a wreck took longer than he thought what ever.. I said miss I don't care I paid my money I want my car towed she goes to scrteaming about out of her control the police come first, I said what ever lady I will take it up with Nissan in the am bye hung up.. She called me back from another number said I was ungrateful, someone died I should be ashamed she hoped I got someone to tow my car tonight cause they were not coming she was calling Nissan and telling them..I called the number 3 times trying to get my money back before I called Nissan no answer. Called Nissan told them what happened they said to give them an hour to get another truck and low and behold who pulled up in less than 10 minutes. Never again.

The woman on the phone was terrible. I have a Tavel trailer with a flat tire. I called the roadside assistance company who put a call to Atlas tow. I received the text saying it would be 1 hour. I called the number, and got the reply right from the start that it would be one hour. Not knowing where Atlas tire is located I figured I would ask if there is a better estimate of the time considering 1 hr is pretty generic. She harshly replied , 1 hr . I asked if I left and came back in 58 mins would I be good? She made a comment about the vehicle where I told her it was a travel trailer, she stated that she would have to cancel the service. I asked why and she responded with an angry tone and repeated herself. I asked why she had the attitude and she hung up. I called back twice she answer, I asked for a manager and she said she was the manager. I asked why she hung up and she said claimed that I was being argumentative (which was not the case). She made up some fault statement about what I said , which I did not. I told her I didn t say that and she hung up again. Is I am sitting here with no idea what is happening, if anyone is coming. Nice service
I'm an apartment manager in Dade CIty, Fl who needed a car towed from our property asap. I called at 9pm at night to 3 other towing companies who gave me the runaround (I needed to set up an account, I needed to have our company credit checked...etc. All at 9pm!) I called Joan at Atlas who was VERY cooperative. The next morning (at 7:30am) the car was being towed by Glenn. He was incredible! Atlas is the company we will be using from this day forward. Want someone to answer the phone at 9pm? Atlas is the place to call. Great GREAT job all the way around. Thank you all so much.

Altas towing service has no customer service what's so ever. After not making it Clear to me that they don't release vehicles to the car insurance with over phone consent. I called their desk clerk, Calmly Telling her I was not informed about their policy she immediately gets defensive and starts to yells at you over the phone. While trying to ask what time I had to be there to sign the release forms for my car, she yells 5 and hangs up. The establishment is extremely unclean and the owner shows no care in the behavior of her employee. I work in Customer survive and I know how Customers can be so their behavior really stuck a cord with me when I was trying my hardest to be respectful to them. When I showed up to get my car released the supervisor tried to tell me (words where said on both side and they will release my car.) Mind you my car has no hold so it's not up to her if my car is release or not. While getting the process done they both talked and laughed as if I was not in the room. no professionalism, no good Customer service and the establishment is not very sanitary. Use at your own risk
Whoever answers the phones for this business shouldn t work in customer service. Absolutely unprofessional and rude and after talking down to me she hung up the phone. She clearly doesn t want a job so you should do her the honors.
Absolutely horrible company. Im surprised they are still in business with the level of incompetence. If you go to there overflow lot its unlocked you have access to any car on there lot. Would not recommend these uneducated clowns to my worst enemy.

I ve had to use atlas towing a few times before and it s always been pleasant. The drivers are awesome and always really nice. It wasn t until recently I had to deal with actually having my car towed to atlas and my experience was the worst I ve ever had. The girl who answered the phone was rude, interrupted me, and had an I have your car and there s really nothing you can do so treating you like an actual human being isn t on my list for the day attitude. I asked to speak to someone above her and she said there is no one above her so I m assuming she s either the owner or she didn t want to deal with someone complaining. Use this company for the drivers alone, I hope no one has to deal with the girl at the office because you ll be treated like trash.
I got my car towed a few miles to a shop. I had to be somewhere else, so I called later to settle up for the bill after getting a voicemail from the owner with the total. I gave them my card number, and the next week I was charged for a different amount. I called the owner to report the discrepancy, and she cursed at me, threatened to place a lien on my vehicle, and told me to take her to court before hanging up on me. Absolutely the worst customer service, and to top it off, they ripped me off! Would not recommend, these people do not conduct themselves professionally at all.
One of the rudest companies I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Extremely rude, discourteous, short. Thank God they are not the only towing company out there. I have never experienced this with Stepps Towing nor any other towing company. GM should seriously consider discontinuing using this company in their rotation.
Had my truck towed by atlas drivers are professional they arrived in less the 30 minutes which was great cause I was strand3d on the side of the road the truck that picked me up was very nice and clean also had the ac cranked up ( thank goodness for that it was hot) definitely would recommend this company!!

Unprofessional, disorganized, disrespectful staff. Gave wrong address to location, and then blamed customer for being late after customer was injured in an accident. Would not recommend to anyone. Told insurance to remove them from any recommendations.

Most disgusting customer service ever. Quoted an hour and fourty minutes. 3 hours into the wait Atlas towing cancelled the dispatch because I called to check on the tow truck. I didnt use any foul language and was told they didn't feel comfortable sending the driver because they made me wait so long. So another company had to dispatch a truck after I waited well over 3 hours for atlas.

Had to have my car towed due to a dead battery- the driver was quick to arrive and so helpful. Even helped me try and jump start it before getting my Jeep on the truck. I was having a bad day and his kindness made all the difference! I would recommend them to anyone needing a tow!
Person on the phone hung up on me when I was not being rude. Charged me more money for towing a motorcycle for no reason. I have had a motorcycle towed before and I never had an extra charge. Driver asked for my help to load when when I was just hospitalized and released. A service such as this needs to be prepared to handle this situation when the call is dispatched. I will never use this service again. The only reason it gets two star is because the driver asked how I was doing and was delightful to receive service from. Do not offer a military discount either.

Had a 3 hour wait.At which point my insurance co. Called to see if anyone has shown yet. No one had. They called ATLAS to see why. ATLAS said they called 45 minutes previously to see if I still needed the sevice, if I didn't call back in 5 minutes they would cancel. I never got a voicemail. So they canceled. Finally found someone to help me. Will never do business with this company if I can help it.

They charged my company over $2,000 to tow our vehicle from I75 to their yard a short distance away. they said because 2 trucks spent 2 hours, which was untrue. On top of that they were going to charge all kinds of extras if we didnt remove everything that day, they would tack on 2 days worth of storage. So we had to scramble to get everything removed. Our company is based in Orlando so the y knew they had us over the barrel. They are nothing more than Opportunistic Price Gouging Predators.
wouldn't trust them with my car ,for they can't drive themselves. Driver today speeding in left and right shoulders almost side-swiped my car and a few others on I 275 .

Very unresponsible. Today Progressive Insurance sent me that towing company because my car didnt work. I had to wait 2 and a half hours and the tow never come. When I called Progressive again to ask for the road assistance, they called Atlas Towing and I had to wait for an additional hour. They tow owner never called me or answer the phone. Never use that company service.
I dont know about there towing other than I occasionally see them driving poorly in Wesley chapel and nearby areas ,but tonight I got a example of there drivers courtesy at least this one who was picking up a car at a neighbors house across the street from me, as he repeatily drove over my lawn possibly breaking my sprinkler head which I recently repaired for 200 hundred dollar he insisted that that was county land call them if you have a problem Atlas Im sure expects better service from there workers or do they, beware of this guy.
Haven't actually been picked up yet, but giving 5 stars to Misty who answered their phone because she was AWESOME and I read a bunch of bad reviews on whoever they had previously. Keep Misty!! She was very helpful:))
Our Septic Truck broke down yesterday. We were half full and we needed to be towed back to our shop. We have used Atlas in the past because pricing for heavy tows was way better than others. To our surprise the tow truck driver made it.to us quickly and was actually nice. He worked quickly also. When we got to our shop he had to back in in to a very tight area and he did it in almost one shot. Very impressed.
They never came, but made me wait for three hours thinking they were coming. Ended up doing a no call no show.
Communication was excellent, driver was knowledgeable and courteous and helpful, price was within reason. Atlas towing will be getting return business from me in the future......
