ARC REALTY Review

I used an ARC agent to buy my first house. I am thankful that I did because there were multiple offers and we came out on top. I felt like they actually cared about my home purchase and helped me along the way. Highly recommendable.

ARC Realty Agent Tyler Whitten first "forgot" about our appointment. After rescheduling for another day, I received a phone call and text message at the appointment time telling me she is on the way. 15 minutes later I receive several text messages explaining that she did not get clearance to the enter the home. I call and express my dissatisfaction for her to tell me "I can't help you; call the number on the sign" and hangs up on me. She then texts me "You are absolutely not going to get anywhere with me with that kind of hostile attitude." I request her manager's contact information and she replies that she is not comfortable meeting with me.

This is an embarrassment of customer service and ridiculous lack of effort to even make the appearance this company cares about it's clients. Absolutely deplorable.

The team at ARC Realty is extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to the Birmingham real estate market. As a first-time home buyer, I understandably had a lot of questions and my agent was patient as she walked me through the process. ARC is the best and I will work with them again in the future!

We really enjoyed our experience with Arc Realty. Andrew Plasters was great and found us a perfect home in a wonderful, safe neighborhood. The house is perfect, spacious, on the river, lots of hiking around and close to town! I ve been looking for our perfect home for years and he found us our perfect home in just a few weeks! Rosalie Pribbenow Baxter was so professional and responsive! Before I could even think of the next step, she was already on top of it and making calls, giving us resources and contacts, etc. I felt like every single thing was taken care of throughout the whole process and it all went so smoothly. She definitely has her clients' best interests at heart and will do what it takes to make them happy. We are so grateful.

I could write an entire novel about how impressed I am with ARC Realty agents Haley May and Leda Mims, but I will condense it for your convenience.

My wife and I put our house up for sale in Cullman, AL in April of 2019. After a bad experience with the previous realty company, mostly due to poor communication, we parted ways and came upon Haley and Leda.

Throughout the entire process, we received advice, updates, and plans to make the house more appeasable to the market. After wasting 5 months during the prime selling season with our prior company, Haley and Leda put together a game plan and sold our house in 2 short months in a difficult season for sellers!

They made it easy, painless, and actually enjoyable! Go see these ladies and I promise you will not be disappointed, as a buyer or seller. They were a Godsend to us. I know they will not let you down!!!

I don t recommend ARC Realty. The realtor Donna G. Was very unprofessional. Didn t show the house just sat on the couch while we showed the house ourselves. We had several questions she could not answer. She seemed uninterested and annoyed. She then text me saying as a first time home buyer I shouldn t have made an offer like I did. And that the sellers want to only work with a professional realtor and agent . She then said she is an added value for the seller. I later found out the biggest question was the house in a flood zone...she said maybe I don t know. Goes to show the flood rating was an 8/10 zone. Very moderate. Don t work with ARC Realty. They don t add anything. Just hungry for commission. Definitely working with a for sale by owner now.

Called the agent on the sign the next day. He never returned my call. The lady who answered phone in the office was helpful, however, the day before.

ARC Realty is a wonderful company to work with. Family atmosphere, friendly people and excellent service! If you are in the market to buy or sell, this is the company you should call.

Probably my best experience with a real estate agent ever. Not only is Richard knowledgeable and personable, but he is a go getter. The home was listed one day after we first talked. Multiple showings and offer on the first weekend. Great to work with!

If you trying to sale your house this is not the place to go.the realtor act like they're working for the buyers. Very poor business

Scott was instrumental in helping us being able to pursue a new career in a new city. Excellent costumer service set aside from our differences, but one agent in particular told me that "I might want to not call their office again" Not sure if this was a threat or advice?

My service is been ok, I'm not completely satisfied with it, but I already signed a offer/contract with my current realtor. It feels that it's very hard to get an appointment with her to go see houses, she always has an excuse of why she can't, so I have to wait until she is available. It makes me feel like I'm not a prioritized client for her. If there is a way to change realtors please let me know. Thanks!

ARC is the best! The Partners and Agents truly care about their customers and clients. It is definitely A Relationship Company.

I would highly recommend using ARC Realty. I worked with Andrew Plasters and he would go out of his way to make himself available around my busy schedule. He had excellent response times and would have all viewings set up within a day of requesting one. Andrew even had a viewing set up for me while he was on his honeymoon. I got to work with Don Bonner during Andrew's absence and the excellent customer service continued. They always go above and beyond your expectations. I would highly recommend both Andrew and Don for any of your home buying or selling needs. I look forward to working with ARC Realty for all my future home buying and selling needs.

Arc realty as a whole was okay, but do NOT use Sandi Prater. Absolutely terrible experience.

Ann March was amazing. She still is. Even after our purchase. She knows the city (and the community) incredibly well, and if there is something she actually doesn't know, she finds out. With her help, we found the perfect location for our son's home.

We were referred to Ann by a realtor friend in Atlanta who grew up in Birmingham, and we are so grateful that introduced us to her!

Without Ann's guidance, we would have been stuck in a contract that we almost signed without an out in case the house we put under contract had issues. It had so many issues that we used the clause to get out of the contract. She really saved us. The house turned out to be toxic in many ways.

She really goes above and beyond. We are so grateful for all she has done for us. She saved us from ourselves.

We live in an ARC owned neighborhood (Chace Lake) and ARC continually keeps harassing us over a painted fence. My neighbors and I, thinks it looks fine but they keep threatening us with fines. The worst agent is named Amanda Carr. She continually keeps ignoring our request, and she keeps threatening us financially. These people are greedy and horrendous. In addition, I also think that they own a high proportion of Birmingham real-estate. This makes me believe that they violate an anti-trust law (they have a monopoly). Therefore, if you want to sell your house go do that on Zillow. Avoid this place at all cost.

TO KEEP WITH THE CONVERSATION ABOUT THE SEPTIC TANK:

I very well know ARC Realty is not a septic tank company BUT you are basically saying that you hire shady subcontractors that do bad jobs? I would expect you guys have reliable service providers that you can trust...

Very bad experience with a broker from ARC Realty.
After buying a house, previously agreeing in the signed contract that the septic tank pump was going to be replaced, we had overflowing issues, consequently bad smell and other issues. We found out with a licensed septic tank specialist that the pump installed by the so-called broker s licensed specialist was really a cheap pump, too small to pump properly which cost us the amount of $3250 to replace. This is a prime example of how a broker can be deceitful to sell a house at the loss of the buyer and the gain of the seller; so buyers be aware

CiCi at ARC Realty is spectacular!!

Everything we needed to learn and understand as first time home buyers she walked us through step by step. CiCi made herself available whenever we had a question or whenever it fit our schedule to view a new home. While working with her it was always clear that she had our best interest at heart and that she wanted to find the right home for us just as much as we did. Her knowledge of the home buying process was exceptional. She was a mini home inspector as we walked through each home, helped us understand the timeline the home buying process, provide us with tons of professional contacts, and gave us reassurance and comfort, and support whenever needed! She was there every step of the way!

Just as important as helping us find a home, CiCi took the time to get to know us as a family. She may us feel like we were going through the home buying process with someone we had known our whole lives!

If we ever decide to sell and/or buy another home one day, CiCi will be the one and only realtor we call!

I literally and giving this a negative 5 review due to one particular agent working in the cabana heights location. Very rude accusations and calling me the seller after closing 5 days ago. demanding to know what is going on with a house that is built very well and on a 30 year old home everyone knows things arise. I even payed out of the kindness of my heart to fix one issue after the house wasnt even mine!!! This agent could not cut it at realty south and I pray she learns some manners on future dealings with clients and also isn't so rude so that she can finally not look so bad to homeowners and home buyers and I know she will say that oh it didn't happen like that but it did!!!! very disappointed in arc realty allowing a person to be this rude

Marcus Kennedy of ARC misrepresented this listing and let me sink almost $3000 into the purchase only to tell me the day before closing that it was involved in a bankruptcy. They knew what they were doing. They wanted to get me "on the hook" with expenses to give them time to sort out their problems with the court. VERY SHADY PEOPLE.....STEER CLEAR..... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ARC!

We love Rosalie Pribbenow Baxter! As first-time home buyers, my husband and I knew nothing about looking for a home and I mean NOTHING. I think the first time I called her I frantically said, "I need a realtor, I don't know anything about buying a house, and I've already made a big mistake, can you please help me?!" (I had made an appointment to see a house with a seller's realtor on my own) and she was so patient with me and helpful amidst my rambling. She immediately fixed my snafu and we hit it off from there.

Rosalie made home-buying feel easy and understandable. She was flexible and available whenever we wanted to see homes and gave us many great options to tour based on our criteria. She was great at communicating with us regularly and making sure we understood the process. Once we found the perfect home, she handled the rest and walked us through every step smoothly.

I think the best thing about Rosalie is she is a professional who will make you feel secure and taken care of while also being genuine and real. She will be honest with you about a home and your options and she understands that home-buying is a process that is crazy and takes time, especially when juggling work and family. She is the best!
