I met an female volunteer just nearby the Auckland Central Library around 4:00pm on the 7th of March 2017.

She is Pakeha(NZ European). She told me hi and where I came from. I know she wants to draw an attention. I said to her "guess what?". I tried to break the ice with joke.
Then she said " (You) have a good day".
This is the worst experience that I have met with volunteers on the street.
I know how the Childfund is doing great atound the world.
But that lady gives me a terrible impression and undermines its reputation.
On the contrast she gives me an good example how I should act if I work for a company or some organisation.

I donate some money every month via Worldvision over decades.

About ChildFund New Zealand

ChildFund New Zealand: Empowering Children to Overcome Poverty and Injustice

ChildFund New Zealand is a non-profit organization that has been working tirelessly for over 80 years to help children living in poverty and facing injustice. The organization believes that every child deserves the right to live a life free from poverty, violence, and exploitation. ChildFund New Zealand works with local communities, governments, and other organizations to provide children with access to education, healthcare, clean water, nutritious food, and protection from harm.

The organization's mission is simple yet powerful: "to help deprived, excluded and vulnerable children have the capacity to improve their lives and the opportunity to become young adults who bring lasting change in their communities." ChildFund New Zealand believes that by empowering children with education and skills training they can break the cycle of poverty for themselves as well as future generations.

One of the key programs run by ChildFund New Zealand is child sponsorship. Through this program, individuals or groups can sponsor a child living in poverty. The sponsorship funds go towards providing essential needs such as education materials like books or uniforms; medical care including vaccinations; clean water sources like wells or boreholes; nutritious food options such as school feeding programs; safe shelter through building homes or renovating existing ones.

Another important program run by ChildFund New Zealand is emergency response. This program provides immediate assistance during natural disasters such as earthquakes or floods. The organization works closely with local partners on the ground to provide essential supplies like food parcels or hygiene kits.

In addition to these programs aimed at helping individual children directly impacted by poverty or disaster situations - Childfund also runs advocacy campaigns aimed at addressing systemic issues affecting vulnerable populations globally - including climate change mitigation efforts which disproportionately impact those already struggling against economic hardship due largely because they are often located in areas most affected by environmental degradation caused by industrialization.

Childfund's work extends beyond just providing aid - it also focuses on empowering communities so they can take control of their own futures through sustainable development initiatives designed specifically for each community's unique needs based on factors such as geography (e.g., rural vs urban), culture (e.g., indigenous vs non-indigenous), gender (e.g., female-headed households) etc..

The organization has been recognized internationally for its work towards ending child poverty worldwide. It has received numerous awards including being named one of Forbes' Top 10 Charities Changing The World In 2021.

In conclusion, ChildFund New Zealand is an incredible organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children around the world through various programs aimed at breaking cycles of poverty while promoting sustainable development practices within communities themselves so they may take control over their own futures rather than relying solely upon outside aid agencies which may not always be available when needed most urgently due largely because funding priorities shift frequently depending upon political climates both domestically & internationally alike!
