Nuisance telemarketing calls on behalf of a charity, which are unfortunately exempt from the ACMA Do Not Call service. However, if you would like your number removed from their contact list, email them via: callingenquries@paretophone.com

5 stars mainly because the people at Pareto phones are very supportive. It IS a decent pay for what it is. They try to make it a fun environment. But it is a horrible job. Definitely not the worst. But still... Horrible.
Comparable to just begging for money on the streets. Except with targets on "Yes's" based on taking advantage of peoples societal guilt and non abilitiy to just can't say no.
If you are good at it. They mainly leave you alone and will offer many freedoms like days off when requested etc.... Whatever needed to keep you onboard.
If you're bad at it. They will be on your back constantly with advice and tactics to improve. With subtle threats of being let go if you consistantly underperform.

Horrible organisation. They make unsolicited phone calls to you and then hang-up after only 1 or 2 rings. Total abuse of phones. When I call back a missed call I get a recording with a garbled message how to unsubscribe so I have to investigate who it is and how to unsubscribe. I am reporting these abusers to the authorities.

One of the best and most precessional organisations doing awesome work for wonderful charities.
Hard working staff, super quality calls and the best compliance you could imagine for a call centre.

Working in any form of sales or call centre environment is, in my experience, always going to be fast paced & will require a lot of on the spot thinking / problem solving & of course, at times, hair pulling - IVE Fundraising is no different. What IS different though? The people, the culture & the support you receive, not just from management, but your peers. Never in my wildest of dreams would I have imagined walking around a call centre of 85+ staff & knowing each individuals name. I have been here five years now & IVE's (Pareto Phone from way back when) culture has continued to flourish, so much so, I view this place as my second home, & the (the better part of) my family.

Absolutely unprofessional and a nuisance. They call my mobile from multiple different numbers, when you call back it s always an automated message bank which gives you an email address to stop receiving calls, but they say the address so fast you can t even understand it. I had to research online to find who the phone number was linked to.

I've worked at IVE for just over a year and a half now. Starting on the phones as a tele-fundraiser was the door to finding true fulfillment in a role for me. Having worked in a few different call centres prior to IVE I soon came to realise there's nothing quite as rewarding as raising money and making a true difference to peoples lives and the world we live in. As there are in any job I had my down days but these were always supported with constructive feedback, compassion and helpful advice from my team leader. My advice to anyone applying for this role is to grab the opportunity with both hands and not let go. In my experience it's paid off, I have been promoted since and continuously rewarded for my efforts whether that's from a professional standpoint or personal. I've never hated a Monday at IVE and that says it all.
