Excellent staff made me give this a good rating. Good downtown location. I don't like having to track down valet to get into my car but the valet staff is fast, efficient and like all staff encountered very friendly and helpful. The room is poorly designed with the AC unit tucked into a corner so it's either too hot or cold because of the thermostat location. The sofa bed has the worst mattress I have ever encounter in a hotel so it is basically unusable skip the 10 breakfast very limited options but there is a Duncan donuts 2 blocks behind the hotel and a Publix grocery in the next block over. 5 star staff

TERRIBLE! I was placed in the wrong room without explanation and my sheets were DIRTY. Upon bringing this to the attention of staff, I was told to come get my sheets and had to change them myself. With COVID going around you would think housekeeping would stop by at least ONCE. I had to take my own trash, get my own towels & wait on the shortage of blankets. Upon checking out early I spoke with a manager (Anna) who stated that my room was already discounted so there s nothing she could do and since no one notated the account I simply got a shoulder shrug . So basically if you have a discounted room, you get discounted service .

The staff was extremely helpful, and most especially the concierge services. Other than that, the room was comfortable and clean. There are a variety of restaurants nearby and boutique shops within walking distance. No complaints at all for the hotel! I would stay here again and recommend them to all of my friends.

I really enjoyed my stay at Aloft. It's on the edge of downtown Miami, but is priced to reflect that. There are a few shop close by like a CVS and is a very short walk to the mall and may good restaurants. Close to airport too. I like every room had a safe and iron too without needed to ask. The only downsides were the rooms are quite small, some rooms have balconies (mine didn't) and tuere is no smoking area. Staff were pleasant at both check in and check out. If I ever need to be on downtown Miami again I'd stay at again with out hesitation.

Oh I really recommend this hotel. Friendly staff, gorgeous room with a water view balcony, and good amintities. The room was really exceptional for me. It is modern, clean, and well designed.

Also the location is not that far from the downtown and from Brickells city center.

This is a really nice Chic hotel located in downtown Miami within a 10 minute cab ride of the cruise terminal. We used it for one night before we took our cruise and we loved it the staff were very friendly and helpful the place was very clean. They have a bar downstairs and a little convenience store area as well. I would definitely stay here again when in Miami I really enjoyed his hotel.

Had a very nice experience. The room I got had a balcony but the only bad thing is that the people in rooms above me kept throwing trash and other miscellaneous things over their balcony and it would land on mine. Customer service was nice. Parking is very expensive. I would park in the cheaper parking garage one block over behind those tiny apartments!

Very basic property and well over priced. The corridors are dark and dinghy. Some staff are friendly but others are not at all friendly. The rooms are very basic with a near useless ironing board. Bed was comfortable and clean. Apparently because I booked through Expedia and pre-paid I got a disabled persons room which did not suit me.

if you value customer service at all, don't stay here. I will definitely be taking my money elsewhere next time. This staff is rude and seems like they have an attitude if you ask them for basic services you would ask any hotel front desk. For example if you need glasses because you weren't provided any with in your room, you have to go down to the lobby to get it (and are told so very rudely) if you need cleaning service and ask for them after a certain time, instead of the front desk kindly telling you "I'm sorry ma'am, but we no longer have anyone that can come up and provide full-service at this time, but we can send it fresh towels"... they attempt to belittle you by explaining how a Do Not Disturb sign works, when you are more than capable of understanding yourself and simply wanted fresh towels delivered in a timely, kind manner. Maybe I was the only one to experience this however, because after I'd ask for something basic to be sent to our room and my request was in was declined, I was joined in the elevator by a hotel employee that was seemingly bringing similar items up to another room.

This is a trendy euro style hotel I believed is aimed to the younger traveler. With bright colors, LED signs, and social areas in the lobby, it is hard to tell if you're in a hotel or hipster bar. The rooms were nice, I had 2 balconies and a living room which were pretty cool. My only complaints is that the valet instructed me there is no on-site self parking despite the website saying there was, my mobile check in not being processed, and a few hairs I found in my room.

Horrible service. Booked 2 rooms for an associate and I and reservation made for incorrect day. Front desk staff was rude and unwilling to assist telling me the y are fully booked and nothing they can do. Called reservations to ensure they found me a room as we drove 4 hours from Tampa. Needless to say they got us rooms at four points nowhere close to Brickell where we were meeting clients that night for drinks and dinner. Not to lose business we had to go as we were (not business attire) and beg restaurant manager to allow us to dine as we were. The worse part was the attitude of the front desk associates as though it was my error. Will never stay here again and/or recommend aloft Miami. Too bad W (former viceroy) where we usually stay was not available.

This hotel was ok, the toilet didn't work soon as we got in the room. There is no ice machine, you have to go to the lobby to get a bag of ice. Breakfast was always bread. The rooms are nice, the pool was cool the set up of everything was nice. I think being downtown I expected more from Aloft. Everyone was friendly. But maintenance nor housekeeping spoke English.

Great location and great price. The staff was very accommodating for my late check out and whatever I asked. I didn t like that you had no option to park except for a $25 valet fee. Also, there was a stain on a chair and the wall in my room and the lighting was not very bright. Other than that, it was a pleasant day. And it s awesome how they don t advertise as serving complimentary breakfast, yet they offer free coffee, bagels, and croissants downstairs in the morning.

The experience I had at the Aloft Miami Brickell h...

The experience I had at the Aloft Miami Brickell has single handedly led me to the decision to never stay at a Marriot Bonvoy Property again. I will be cancelling my Marriot Bonvoy credit card and gifting my points to a relative who is willing to support your corporation. The entire experience from check in to check out was embarassing and not to the level of quality that i expect from what used to be SPG. I am a ex-plantinum member who has stayed at SPG properties around the world (US, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand). In the past year - even during a pandemic - i have stayed 40 nights in Bonvoy properties. Where do we begin - firstly, the concierge that checked me in was not wearing a mask (im not so big on masks either but this is a client service industry and its the law). Second, the room was not clean when we arrived (the floor was obviously dirty). Next we were surprised with the fact that now during the pandemic the rooms are being cleaned every third night? I found this shocking considering cleanliness has been the focus of the world we live in since March 2020. I certainly would have expected this to be communicated when I either A) booked the room B) Received a confirmation C) Received a welcome email about my upcoming stay D) Check in maybe? 4 chances to alert a customer of this new and unacceptable practice? I understand COVID times are tough, i work in finance, i understand profit margins... but you cannot tell me that cleaning a hotel every 3 days is acceptable practice by any means. Even less so in Miami where nobody gives a hoot about the pandemic. Im guessing youre willing to roll the dice on having the hotel be a focal point of spread to save a couple dollars? I expect better from Marriot Bonvoy and I used to believe that SPG/Marriot Bonvoy held itself to a higher standard. When i requested the room to be cleaned anyway i was told they could not because the new hotel policy only allowed every three days. I had to tell the front desk attendant that my girlfriend had her period for them to give me the time of day, which i later found that ONLY the bedsheets had been changed (thanks but i was told they would take care of it and expected more). I had to go through this humiliation and begging to have a room cleaning? The towels in the room are comparable to the terry towels i use to dry my dog with. They are really great for drying animals or floors or anything except for humans, because they leave white fuzz on you. They left white fuzz all over me. I went to the front desk to ask for a fork, and told they have none... at a hotel? really? A hotel with a restaurant (albeit closed due to pandemic)... but i have a funny feeling you didnt sell all your silverware to cover pandemic losses... No forks? Where in the world did i stay? Absolutely worst hoteling experience of my life. I am a firm believer in voting with my dollars, and I will never spend a dollar more at a bonvoy property again. As mentioned above, i have stayed at SPG/Bonvoy properties all over the world... a reputation is built over a lifetime, and ruined in an instance. Never again.

Cool atmosphere, good rooms, very central and ideal for young people due to its informal style. I have not been in others but the next time I return to Miami I will repeat because in Brickell it seems to me one of the best options

Staff were good but the original reservation was for one person, one bed and when they called back for two beds they said no problem. That was two weeks before the checking date. Upon check in we were told they were sold out. I ended up sleeping on a pull out sofa and having a shoulder issue for 2 weeks because of it.

Worst hotel experience in many years! TV didn't work so they moved me to another room after trying to fix it for 3 hours; they took my keys, gave me new ones that didn't work for the new room...and when I finally got into the new room with second set of keys, the TV didn't work in there either. Then no hot water for two days despite requesting it to be fixed. Management was unapologetic and refused to reduce the price of the room. Will never stay in Aloft hotel ever again and would recommended against this one in particular.

Great hotel located in brickell the rooms are very nice and the decoration is beautifull. During the weekend they do happy hours with good music and drinks. Is very close to restaurants and nightlife.

Only stayed one night and my room my great! #1212. Gentleman at front desk very professional and helpful. Hotel seemed close to eveything we needed for the night. Didn't pay that crazy valvet fee, just park on street for free. Room was clean and well maintained. The bartender that night wasn't friendly or really seemed to care about anything besides girl at end of bar. He had everything shut down and they didn't close for another 45 minutes (bad idea) Only beers and straight liquor which was fine for me but his whole demeanor about it wasn't good. Exactly why I ordered one drink and went back to room.

Overall I would stay again, but would more then likely get a drink elsewhere.
