Food for breakfast was pretty weak compared to just about any other Marriott property, rooms were basic but sufficient, no microwave in rooms, smart TVs weren't smart though and offered no streaming even though they could if connected properly, and entire property was under construction with no advance notice when booking.

My stay was great didn t have any problems until I got home when I got home I notice that I had $100 missing from my car so I will say my stay was great but I WILL NOT be staying there again...kinda kills the hotel when it s nice and everything but you have your valet people stealing money from the guests car
I stayed at this hotel during Memorial Day weekend for the Haitian festival and it was a great stay. I arrive Friday morning and The night guy was able to provide me a early check in and even told me about some the Haitian activities that was happening and help me get a ticket to the black and white party. The staff was really nice. My only problem was the music in the lobby. I was told that they are a hip hotel but they was no rap music or R&B music, I think they should add it so it's more diverse.
The aloft is a great, affordable option. The bed is super comfortable, and it's very convenient to uber / lyft from the hotel to most other parts of Miami for very cheap.
The pool area is very nice - just watch out for the iguana. Wxyz is also nice for an after work type bar.
Great hotel I always love staying here but my last stay's checkin was a nightmare. Two of the receptionists were slow, rude and it took them 35 minutes to check me into what was already a pre-paid reservation. One of them started raising her voice at me screaming that they couldnt see the details of the reservation even though I'm a Gold member and had already checked in online. Thankfully one of the other older receptionists jumped in and saved the day a- kudos to him. He saved my stay so thanks to him. Otherwise a great hotel with a fantastic location!
The location is very close to Brickell City Center. Upon arrival, I discovered the going rate was less than the rate that I had paid. Reception was gracious enough to reduce my rate to the then current going rate.
The rooms were nice and clean, though smaller than other Aloft rooms - that's to be expected however because of the location. Overall, great stay at a hotel with great prices considering I was there from 12/30 through 1/1.
As a Marriott Bonvoy member and very frequent traveler, I expect a lot when I m on the road. I hadn t stayed at an Aloft property before, but I was truly blown away: huge rooms with balconies, free hot breakfasts until 11am, a gorgeous pool area, and the friendliest staff, all conveniently located in Brickell, walking distance to great food and convenience stores.
It resembles a high-end hostel and the managers are passive aggressive. We stayed for a double bachelorette party and were only really in the hotel to sleep. We arrived back at the hotel at 5AM and by the time we were ready for bed it was 6, by 9AM there was incessant hammering that wouldn't let us go back to sleep. I was later informed that it was due to work in the "big boss' office," so I requested a discount since the main purpose of a hotel is to rest... long story short I was made to believe I would be getting $100 back, only to find out that the "total" the manager was referring to was on the room and not, as I clearly had understood total to mean, off of the final price. When I called back he was rude and condescending. For this price, stay somewhere that doesn't resemble a hostel and that cares about it's customers.
Nice hotel in the city center. Stylish interior, the rooms are quite spacious, there is a safe and a usual set of shower accessories. The breakfast buffet is not bad, but the choice is rather limited. There is WiFi, bar, small gym, room for luggage. The staff is friendly.
Not bad hotel I really enjoyed my stay with my husband. The valet parking was a nightmare but the staff gets an A++++ for me. Didn t like that the ice was in the lobby & no microwave but the balcony had a nice view & the room was very very clean & spacious
The hotel was nice! Great location and close to everything. I didn't like that my room key was given to another couple after I had checked! Very scary situation when you out of town.
Amazing place to enjoy Miami night spirit..My husband and I had a great weekend getaway with our friends and their lovely pets.Rooms were very clean and comfortable.Staff was friendly and helpful recommending us a nice place to have dinner only five minutes walking away..The location is perfect because there are a lot of restaurants, bars you can go walking..The pool is very convenient to enjoy with friends We will be back soon
Parking was nightmarish. Valets may be present or may not be, so the limited entrance for your car is limited at best. Retrieving your car is also an event that you will need to plan extra time for.
The room was nice and modern, but some things seemed odd. The sitting area had a couch and chairs, yet no TV. The TV was just in the bedroom. Also, there are NO drawers to unpack your clothes in. There is shelves behind a curtain, but not a single drawer to be had.
The good stuff though. The rooms were modern and kinda funky. The retro analog clock was neat! Also, they give you a credit in the forms of coupons to is in their hotel if you choose not to have your towels replaced daily. Pretty cool way to give incentives for going green. Small bar area without a real restaurant, but plenty of food in walking distance. Would stay again
The check-in was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly, the room was amazing and the general hangout areas of the hotel were great as well. The valet parking was a surprise to me (you have to pay for that) but nonetheless, it was an overall great experience
I enjoyed my stay overall. Especially complimentary pastries and coffee during breakfast hours. Very accommodating personnel. Couple of concerns: 1. Pillows can be put in a dryer to get rid of smell. 2. Shower leaks water on the floor so the floor towel is constantly wet. 3. Walls can be sound proofed. I must have had newly weds behind the wall and could hear every sound they made. Was glad I didn't have family with me.
Great hotel, with fast, free WiFi. The rooms are a bit small and it was weird how the refrigerator was in my bathroom when there's room to store it elsewhere. The balconies were nice, the staff was helpful and if I return to Miami, I'll definitely make this hotel a consideration.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Carlos and his crew at the valet stand did an awesome job even though it was really busy in the morning and evening. Rooms were large and clean, although oddly layed out. I would definitely stay again.
Check in and check out is complete chaos. They are always totally booked - no upgrades for platinum members unless you are committed to chasing a manager for hours. Great rates - great location - but one of the poorest managed properties in the Miami portfolio.
Everything you can think off, has already been thought about and put in place., the rooms are amazing, the staff are amazing and there is not one thing I can fault this place on.
I stayed at Aloft Miami about a month ago, and it was quite the experience. The design is modern and minimal. The elevator has this cool interactive floor. There is a bar in the lobby. My room had a great view. The people working the front desk were awesome. Was walking distance to a Publix, the rail system, and bars. Only downfall was the valet parking. The dude was whipping cars in and out of the parking garage. And I went up at one point to get something out of my vehicle to notice my door was unlocked for anyone to get into. Hotel was awesome though. I would recommend any Aloft Hotel.
Great hotel. Very modern. Rooms were spacious and modern and very welcoming. Location was perfect, close to everywhere I needed to go and also located in a great neighborhood. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel stay
Went for holidays to Miami and found this hotel more oriented for business trip, the room had a dark design (grey and red) with harsh white lighting not cosy at all. Otherwise everything was good, its only a matter of personnal taste. It would have been perfect for business trip....
The staff overall was very friendly! The room however was dirty at arrival. It smelled of smoke, and the cleaning ladies even came in asking if it was us that smoked in the room(mind you this was about 10 mins. after getting to our room). The toilets did not flush properly, toilet paper holder was missing, dirty counter tops, and hair all over the bathroom, and in the drawers. The location, and staff were great, but I was not impressed with the room over all.
Clean and big room. Correct breakfast. Really close to Brickell, with lots of restaurants in a 5 minutes walk. The staff can be more friendly some times.
One of the worst places I have ever stayed in my entire life. I flew into Miami International airport on December 31st 2014 arriving very earlier. The airport didn't have anyone inside or outside that could speak any English nor did the hotel Aloft Miami. We booked 1 room for two nights through American Airways Vacations. Once we finally made it to this dump we were given a 1 king bedroom when we originally requested 2 beds on our reservation then they wanted to make us pay upgrade charges. We finally got the 2 beds about 4am that morning then had to change rooms back to a 1 bedroom for the next night. Just to much bull to go though to stay here. Parking clerks were very rude also. Taxi drivers were the nicest people you'll be here if you happen to meet one that speaks your language. nothing against Spanish, but when your in the US you need a front desk clerk that can speak our native language and maybe know Spanish as a second language.
Staying here can be dangerous and the staff is unresponsive. I checked into my hotel. Got my room key and went up to my room. As I got off the elevator I see this man walking out of what I thought was his room. I get to door and and see it s actually my room. The deadbolt was in the door so it wouldn t close and I saw other rooms adjar like that all down the hall at 11:30pm at night. I went downstairs and asked why my room was open and I was told there is a architect doing work on the rooms. Never known an architect to work late night but whatever I just went to another property it all seemed sketchy. I told the manager Doris who agreed it s dangerous to give people rooms that are wide open to the public in the middle of the night. She promised me 35k points to cover my cost to stay elsewhere. Weeks later no points and she won t respond to calls or emails. Stay here at your own risk. I wouldn t let my wife or daughters stay here knowing what I know now.
My stay at the Aloft Miami was wonderful. I had a nice view room on my floor and it was nothing short of amazing. The customer service was great. The view overlooking the city was breathtaking. The hotel was within walking distance of several restaurants, shopping, and other activities. I would highly recommend staying at the Aloft Miami when you visit Miami!
The worse experience dealing with this hotel they charged me $200 for a room that I never agreed to pay for I asked them to cancel transactions but still charged me!! Don t ever book a room here the workers give horrible service and the hotel isn t even that nice especially not for the price!!!
I was treated super by the lady at the front desk. We had a conversation about traveling during my checking and she made me feel special. Thanks to the lady with blue hair, you are amazing.
