Brickell is an area undergoing a transformation into something nice.
Rooms are large and beds Comfortable.
Breakfast is only continental and amenities are minimal.
Information isn't forthcoming but available if you ask questions. Some good restaurants in the area but some sketchy characters out there as well.
Is it worth the cost ?? I say no.
I would stay elsewhere given the chance.

The Aloft hotel chain its self is wonderful. This particular location has me thinking twice about revisiting. The welcome was a little unorganized I didn't receive everything I was supposed too pertaining to my pets. Also parking is valet only at $22 dollars per night. An there are tons of construction projects active in the immediate area which makes traveling to the hotel very difficult if your not familiar with the Miami area. My previous stay at the Jacksonville, FL location was awesome and went seamless.

If you're expecting a first class experience I wouldn't be going to Aloft properties to begin with. That being said the Aloft at it's price point is a good hotel. I've stayed here multiple times and never been let down. Staff is friendly as you'd expect, and the rooms are nice enough. Try to avoid staying in room --10 or --11 they are at the end of the hall next to the laundry chute and it is noisy in that room.

Excellent place.

Excellent place.
Fantastic for business around Brickell.
Great deal.
Near the financial district.
Very conveniently located and near the best barber shop around.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and it was great. The room was clean and modern, big enough for the two of us. The bathroom and shower were also clean which was great and the patio view of downtown Miami was phenomenal. The lobby was nice and check-in was quick. The only problem we had was that there was an additional $25 parking fee (not counting tips for valet) which was ridiculous. This was the first time we were charged for parking at a hotel, and we weren't happy about it. The least they could have done was make it $10 for an overnight stay. I would recommend.

Perfect location if you're in town for business for a few days or looking to be in the Brickell area without paying insanely high Brickell prices. It's just a 3 or 4 block walk to Mary Village Brickell and City Centre. Both places have tons of great shops, bars and restaurants. The staff at Aloft is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. And the amenities, bar, gym and pool, are also nice.

I gave this hotel a 3 out of 5.....and thats kind of pushing it, but kind of still fair. First, I liked the location its close to Wynwood and some other really good restaurants and if you want the living in the city feel, this place definitely gives you that. While the hotel staff was great and the vibe in the lobby is cool and chill, the hotel kinda gave me the creeps. I stayed on the 13th floor and the hallway had such minimal lighting I was afraid to get out of the elevator. Im not sure if they are undergoing reconstruction or what, but the walls was marked and inside my bathroom I could see parts of the tile coming apart. The bathroom door had no handle, so I had to close the door with the hole where the handle should be. The room was clean and I enjoyed my balcony view, but the hotel felt rather unfinished. When you walk out on the balcony, your literally walking on pavement and the walls are dirty and have splashes of concrete on them. What nearly killed me was the room setup. It was totally awkward. When you walk in, the bathroom sink greets your along with the unfinished bathroom and a huge wall, which on the other side harbors you bed, lamp and television. They definitely need to either finish the hotel or turn it into an apartment building, because it was weird and they want you to pay $10.00 for breakfast and they didn't even have a waffle maker...Issa no for me dawg. Other than that...3/5. I might.....not return.

Situated in a fabulous location and surrounded by gorgeous landscapes around. Well-furnished rooms, great pool for relaxing and beautiful rooftop crowded with people at night. Had experienced timely staff services during my stay. Just an incredible place to plan a holiday.

Great location in brickell, close to lots of stores and restaurants. Hotel is very clean and trendy, with great service. Room had balcony with view of street (not much scenery from my room). Downstairs is also a fun hang out with friends if they want to come visit.

Front desk staff extremely rude.. I called to confirm my reservations and was connected with two different male staff members after requesting to speak to their manager one of them proceeded to "transfer me" but I heard him pick up the phone and hang it up. I will never spend my money here ever again!

This is by far the worst Aloft hotel, and frankly one of the worst renovations of a hotel I have ever seen. I travel 10 days a month and I am very use to W properties and I would not consider this a 3 star.... Loud, dirty and not at all what I expected from a Starwood or Marriott property in Miami. The hallway smells like a middle school, there was hair in the bathroom and the bedding didn t feel clean. They are doing some construction which is loud. If I hadn t checked in late at 1am, I likely would have gone somewhere else. I ve stayed at nicer motel 6s. I had no issues with the staff, the guy at front desk was very nice when I checked in.

We loved the view from the 11th floor! Room was pleasant. However had some technical issues.

The curtain by the balcony door was loose and ready to fall off (Needs to be anchored). Towel rods were loose. Toilet seat was loose. Bed mattress covering was torn exposing the foam to potential bedbug infestation. Thankfully there weren't! Worst part was with the shower, it had no hot water.

Apart from that. It was a pleasant stay. The hotel is centrally located by some really nice restaurants.

Great location, property seems to be relatively new. Two blocks away from shops, restaurants, and train station. Unfortunately, not up to Marriott brand standards. Poor maintenance which denotes poor management. Dusty rooms, dirty balconies, stained windows, faulty toilets. Also, one of the worst breakfast I ever had in a hotel (considering I've been living in Residence inn and Fairfield inn for extended periods of time, these are big words)...and no, is not complementary breakfast...3 stars because it is a real valuable location.

Good hotel, good facilities, comfortable room. Meets the expectation for a 3 start hotel. The staff are so nice people. I think is great for a short stay (a bit small for a long stay in my opinion). Coffee and some few kind of breads included as breakfast, other options selled additional.

Please choose another location no towels or wash clothes. BEWARE SOME ROOMS DO NOT COME WITH MICROWAVE AND REFRIGERATOR &The gentleman at the front is very rude. Lack customer service skills. This could have been a fantastic trip, but this hotel for the price lack everything. Will not be staying here again nor do I recommend anyone to stay here. It was a group of us and we all will be writing reviews of how horrible this place is. The black lady at night is such a sweetheart. They should switch her to be there around check in time. Speaks English well and easy to understand. Valet service was fast and prompt. I blame management for lack of managing.

Nice area and convenient to Miami cruise port. Hotel was awful. We booked a room with 2 queen beds thru a 3rd party. Checked in and they gave us 1 bed with a pullout. There were no sheets on the pull out so we asked for sheets and pillows. 3 hours later after the 2nd call we had sheets delivered and no pillows. They were out of pillows. Management would do nothing because we booked thru a 3rd party, even though we had printed confirmation of a 2 bed room. over a month and no refund or consideration. Worst Aloft we have stayed in.

This location stole my deposit.

This location stole my deposit.
Nothing was damaged and we did not smoke in our room. I booked my room almost a month in advance and when I arrived the forced me to pay a deposit (ok) I was told would be returned 5-10 business days. It's November 11 an I haven't received my money back! Thieves. You will be hearing from my lawyers

Not a full Aloft yet. Room details are not correct. Room details are reflecting information for their sister location which is 15 min away. So do you need that 3rd bed listed? Too bad, you can't get that here. Want ice at night? Don't look on your floor or a different floor, it is only available in the lobby. Request extra towels with the advanced mobile check in? No one reads them! Want a real Aloft? Go elsewhere.

Oh, and a window at the bathroom the lights up the bedroom in the middle of the night? Yes, everyone else you are sharing the room with appreciates being woken up by that. Smart move!

They only allow you to park on their property if you use valet parking. Valet parking for overnight guests is 25$. You have to tip the valet guy every single time you get your car. It adds up and it makes no sense when you advertise "multi floor parking space". Rooms are nice and the balconies give it a nice touch. Front desk staff is very helpful and nice. Female security guard is very rude and is constantly on her phone watching videos. Hotel is pet friendly. There is not designated space for them to release themselves; however, couple of blocks down there is a park where you can walk them a bit away from city traffic. I love the location of this hotel. Starbucks, publix, public transportation, shopping and restaurants just a couple of blocks down.

Terrible attention to the public

Terrible attention to the public
The staff sends you to wait a long time without giving any explanation and in a rude and ill-mannered way. He also had a paid reservation and the receptionist never had a kind treatment with our discomfort.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel is lovely experience together with my family and friends. Room was super clean and excellent service at the front desk.
Bathroom was spotless! Loved the pool area.
Great bar and awesome drinks . they have a new way for breakfast which are the breakfast bowls I tried the one with oatmeal and fresh cut fruit and they were amazing super convenient specially when you are on the run order it at the front desk they will have it ready for you in less than 10 minutes.
Amenities from Bliss love the blue soap and the handcream.
This hotel is close to everywhere especially restaurants and bars from downtown where you can go walking distance and have a great time.
When back in Miami will definitely stay at the Aloft Brickell thank you guys!

Very well located. Easy to get form Miami International Airport by Metrorail, also a block away from the Metro mover that can take you for free around Downtown and Brickell area. Common areas well maintained. Personnel is kind and professional. Snacks available 24/7 and the lobby area and the Wxyz bar has a decent selection of drinks. Rooms well maintained and clean, but can get improved with better lighting. Parking is $25 per night and you also have valet parking available.
