The pizza here is incredible. I've been eating pizza from various locations all over the city and the world. This establishment, by far beats any other place in San Francisco. A must stop. The service was great and the staff very kind and professional. Cheers!!!
Great italian food with great wine choices and reasonably priced. The bruschetta was fabulous! The melanzana or eggplant was an appetizer and they were willing to make this an entree by combining two of them. The dessert was great.
Great Pizza! I just love the place. Oh, the soup is delicious. It's heaven for vegetarians.
Came here to grab a quick lunch. And it was quick. I enjoyed the pizza and salad very much. the staff was friendly as well.
Penne Bolognese doesnt get any better! I could eat this every day of my life
I think it's especially magical when you can walk into a cafe/pizzeria and instantly be greeted with a warm smile and the smell of pizza. This is hands down my favorite place to eat in the Financial District. The Decor and food remind me of a little cafe in Southern Italy.
Mike, the owner, actually takes the time to get to know all of his customers, sometimes by name and sometimes by order. Regardless, he or Joe will always ask me how my day is going and always make me like family.
My Go-To is Half Salmon Panini and a small Caesar - Let me break it down: Fresh Focaccia, Marscapone Cheese, with Smoked Salmon and lettuce. Don't get it toasted... It's better cold. They make their Caesar dressing fresh and in house. It's the perfect amount of food. Now, if I'm feeling a little fancier, I opt for the Ravioli al Pesto. There is just something about how creamy and perfectly salted that pasta is!
I've gone to Tricolore too many times to count, and every time I love it just as much as the first time.
Sandwich and salad combo was fantastic - from the home baked bread on the sando to the dressing on the mediterranean salad. Also, outside seating is set up and spots are small but in the sun, which helps on cool days. No pics to share because I ate it too fast. Fabo spot!
Lentils and lasagna are very rich. Very friendly. Correct prices in the financial area of San Francisco. 100% recommended
Excellent pizza for a fair price. The vegetarian pizza was great, the crust was thin and crispy and the veggies done right. The Mediterranean salad I got was not what i was expecting, but overall good. They had a nice selection of options. The only drawback was the seating was a little cramped. This pizza is worth trying again.
Good paninis. I had the chicken one and it was yummy. The tomato and mozarella pasta salad is blah though, I would not suggest it.
Great place, lovely people. Good wholesome food. I liked the pastas and soups a lot. Convenient place to stop by for a quick meal.
I love this place's Linguine Al Gamberi. It has tomato sauce and garlic. It's so tasty.
pizza its good and lasgana 2 i havent try the salad but im guessin its good my friend didnt complain and he likes good food average price to be in the big city of san francisco i just wish the streets would be more cleaner they don't have a patio
I like this place! The price is on par with other FIDI places in the area but I feel like they actually care about the quality of the food, and it seems authentic (run by two Italian guys in the front! Don't worry, they are not huge or intimidating, and are actually super nice)
I've gotten their soups, pastas and salads which are all great. I can't vouch for the pizza as I've never tried it and the paninis are a tad small (aren't they always?).
Amazing pizzas! Everyone in my group got something different and they were all amazing. Their Bombay sauce on many of them is delicious.
Fresh, organic food. Healthy, friendly, great community place. Michael, the owner, is always there. Super friendly guy who knows how to create a fantastic atmosphere and make you feel at home. LOVE it.
Succulent !!! We feasted for cheap. Friendly welcome.
Good place for a lunch. Friendly service and delicious food.
This is one of my favorite lunch and breakfast places tucked away in San Francisco's Financial District. Fresh, delicious pastas, pizzas, soups, paninis, etc. Their portions are generous and feel very healthy. The staff greet you with a smile and are very friendly. I recommend you try their great cappuccino and tiramisu for a special treat, yum! Two thumbs, way up!
I LOVE TRICOLORE! This is my go-to Italian lunch stop in San Francisco. They always have a fresh selection of alot of different Italian dishes - something for everyone! The inside decor is cozy and the staff are always super friendly and helpful. Don't miss this gem of San Francisco on the edge of the Financial District!
Easy and quick lunch spot when you have to hurry back to your desk
I definitely liked their beef lasagna and planning to try more of their food and beverages later. I am especially curious about their tiramisu!
Freshly made Italian favorites. The best minestrone.
Really nice lowkey restaurant. Had breakfast there this morning and it was delicious and quiet. I just discovered this place and I shall be back.
Excellent treatment. Very friendly Fast and quality food
Excellent service and food. The pizza crust was very flavorful and we cleaned our pasta bowls clean. Staff is fantastic and very welcoming.
Not very good food. My fiance and I had the pasta. Mine was the pesto, which was decent. She had the white sauce, and it was awful. She puked afterwards because it was so awful. The decor was nice. Wish the meal had matched it. Definitely was not worth the price.
Really authentic trattoria. Great staff and the soup changes daily. I recommend the potato-spinach soup on Fridays.
My local italian restaurant! They have a great italian food and good price!
Awesome owner/operator spot tucked across the street from the Trans America building, in the heart of the FiDi. Service was quick, the guys working were helpful and gave good service. Pizza was delish, salads were even better. I'll definitely be back.
Slow, slow, slow. Then only after I placed the order, did they say that the card reader wasn't working, cash only. I have had better soup out of the can.
