I only stay in Aloft when I travel for business unless they do not have a location where I am. Miami is not the worst but not the best. Its location is not prime to any walking but thats not such a big deal.
The front desk there is not too friendly like I normally get from other location like Nashville or Franklin, Tn. They are a little too cool and you feel like they are talking about you when you walk away. Too hipster for me.
Rooms are good as always and their breakfast is better than the others.
The night staff is so sufficient and fast with checking guest in. She needs a raise
Beautiful, modern hotel right in the heart of downtown. Valet parking is reasonably priced for the area at $25/day. Rooms are large with nice views of downtown. Lots of things within 10-15 min walking distance including luxury/boutique shopping at Brickell City Centre, food trucks and entertainment at the Wharf and a classic institution - Garcia's Seafood and Grill.
Great location. Very nice modern hotel, good size rooms. Friendly staff.
I was staying at the dormitory of my school, and they can't stay here. So, I searched online, and I found out about this hotel. They have numerous positive feedbacks and reviews. They stayed overnight, and my parents loved the place! The staff and other employees were very polite and friendly to them. I was so happy they treated my parents well and well-loved! Thanks, guys!
a wonderful hotel and city , will always come back to this very same place
Great location. Like most Aloft hotels, this one has the same cookie cutter layout. In the heart of Brickell area in Miami. Walking distance from the mall and shops. Certainly a good place to stay if you are traveling on business in the area.
It s very cool and unique place. Not your typical hotel. I would stay here again!!!
Great service, good location, the lobby has a great ambiance! They support local artists!
Nice hotel, only a few minutes walk to lots of great restaurants
It was a magical stay and the perfect way to start the year. Thank you A Room With A View, I will definitely come back!
Good location, clean rooms of a good size, helpful staff. No complaints.
Nice rooms but nothing special, pretty barebone. Friendly and helpful staff, good location but expensive parking and a lot of construction in the area make navigation tricky. Lobby incense is way too strong.
I will go to the Aloft anytime why because the Marriott cancel our reservation then on top of that we called before we left Chicago they said our rooms were ready we get there no rooms available we called the Aloft they took us all three rooms and they gave us a discount what a great place to stay
Staff was pleasant and helpful. All facilities were clean. Great happy hour.
I love this hotel. I've stayed here for work many times and everyone is super friendly. I have never had any problems and I recommend it 1000%
I was most impressed with cleanliness of my hotel room! Like the air control options I had. Front desk help was very knowledgeable and helpful, always courteous! The snack area had great offerings available 24 hours per day.
Great hotel in the Brickell area with an amazing staff. Free glass.of wine on arrival and pets welcome
This Aloft Hotel doesn't meet the minimum standards set for the Aloft brand by Marriott. The towels are old, thin, and rough...they shouldn't even be used as pool or gym towels. There is no carpet on the floor and while it look clean, after walking around barefoot, the bottom of your feet are black. My room was on the top floor and while the AC was on, it couldn't keep the room cold. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. I had a suite, but the "living room" had only a sofa a lamp and coffee table. The was no TV or even art on the wall. That extra space was essentially unusable for anything but sitting and staring at a white wall. The balconies are tiny and there is a table with 2 chairs on it but the table blocks access to get to the other side of it to sit.
Would I stay here again? Yes.
Are there things to be improved? Yes.
Pro: clean rooms, nice gym
Cons: tons of construction surrounding the hotel (not their fault), ice can only be found in bags at the lobby, THE WIFI IS AWFUL. It's 2016 at a modern hotel in a major city...please get reliable wifi. I spent 10-20 min on three different devices trying to connect. Then the service would drop randomly.
Very unclean and the newly remodeled rooms were done poorly. I will post a few pictures. Staff was friendly though.
This is my first time staying at an Aloft Hotel and sadly I was very disappointed due to the staff. My stay was for two weeks on business. My room had a mildew smell throughout my stay but I could not change rooms as the hotel was packed. Also my sheets were not changed. As there were still markings from previous days on the sheets. My bathroom was not cleaned. The toilet was never cleaned and the shower stall was not cleaned. There was a build up of soap residue on the glass which is how I know it wasn t never cleaned. My towels and wash cloths were always replaced but the actual bathroom wasn t cleaned. Also after a few days I no longer received lotion on the vanity. The worst part of my stay was the racism towards me. Upon check-in as I waited for my room I watched as a couple Caucasian women were locked out of their rooms and had to get new keys. Never once did the front desk attendant ask for their ID s. I also witnessed this with several other guests. After staying at the hotel for about a week my keycard was deactivated so naturally I needed a new key. To my surprise I was asked for ID by staff that I see every morning and evening to and fro from the hotel. To make matters worse a friend of mine came to visit while I was away at work. The front desk staff gave him a key to my room without asking for ID!!! What if that was a stranger who could have stolen my belongings or even worse. So all in all this was an unpleasant stay.
Additionally my friend that visited has a handicap sign in his car due to an ankle injury and having just had ankle surgery. He was told he cannot park in the handicap spaces because the staff keeps cars there that are visiting the hotel for a couple hours. Unbelievable that the hotel does not honor parking spaces for the handicapped.
The check-in experience was very quick and for a less expensive hotel it offered a lot. There was a bar and lounge area in the lobby, which was nice. The room itself was nice, its what you expect from a modern hotel. The only weird part was the bathroom door didn't lock.
The staff were very friendly and always greeted us upon entry/exit. They provided a welcoming environment and answered all of our questions with a smile. Would stay there again.
Very convenient location and we'll maintained rooms. Has CVS and other small restaurants around. Challenge is that there is no warm breakfast included and practically no sitting down eating area in lounge. Finally there was one front desk staff who had very unempathic attitude.
Very cool place. Nice modern look. Walking distance to great restaurants.
It was a nice hotel! The sunsets were so beautiful to look at. Even the staff that was working in their hotel is very friendly and nice to the customers like me. Also, the buffet and foods at their restaurant were unique and delicious. Overall, this hotel was a very good place to stay in the days, weeks, and months. Thank you! I will come back, bringing my family!
Spent a great weekend in Miami here. The room clean and spacious. There s a bar inside the hotel with happy hour specials. The walls are a little thin and I heard a lot of housekeeping staff and some other guests during a much needed nap. Otherwise, front desk is very accommodating does their best to keep you happy. Only option for parking is $25/night valet.
It's great, all very friendly, very good area, close to all transport. Bilingual staff, very attentive. Recommendable.
Fantastic location and awesome people at the Front Desk
There were no ice machine. There's no restaurant there's only bar food. The rooms were large and big and spacious.
Really like the swimming pool here. Room is large and nice, but a little bit more lighting inside room will make guests feel more welcomed.
Very well located, excellent service and facilities
Friendly and well located hotel in the business district. The rooms are spacious and pleasant.
In ALOFT Miami Brickell your money, passport, personal documents are stolen from the safe. Be careful and do not stay there.
Clean, helpfull staff, decent breakfast gym and pool. Close to metro station and Brickell night life and City Centre.
Great accommodations and walking distance to downtown
Solid hotel in the middle of Brickell, walking distance to Blackbird, Sugar, and pretty much anything else around. The lobby has a bar and snacks and front desk / security is friendly. It's an aloft, so if you've been to one before, you know what to expect.
Rooms are well maintained and views vary, but you probably shouldn't spend much time in the hotel if you're visiting anyways. Brickell is close to South Beach, Wynwood, the Grove, etc so there's a lot to do!
Solid addition to Brickell.
Great stay! Valet parking is expensive ($30 per night) though. Close to everything.
Excellent service, although breakfast is very simple / poor
Great place. Anywhere in the area is gonna have traffic. Friendly staff
We specifically asked for early check in and they guaranteed it multiple times. We were never once informed of their policy regarding check in. The manager stated she would just cancel our reservation. The 1800# offered no assistance. The situation was handled poorly and they were rude. The hotel room was spacious but the floors were dirty. The bed felt lumpy and only had one sheet on it. Housekeeping was extremely slow and they were always out of towels. You get one small lotion and you have to request more before 2 pm or they won t give you any extra. We could smell marijuana throughout the hotel. We were not informed about any amenities or anything they offer but we noticed everyone checked in after us was given great attention. They would have two employees at the front but one would ignore the guest while the other one handles all the guest. The employees at this location need to be retrained.
Nice, well located but with poor internet connection
Good hotel Disorder at night does not let me sleep.
Good, but the nearby neighbourhood is pretty much a construction zone
It was a satisfactory experience in terms of quality comfort comfort attention kindness near the financial center mall metro monorail shops beaches five minutes restaurant
Excellent we also recommend it for our pets. Thank you
We will be back.
Great place tp stay close to everything and public transport.
Hotel is as expected for an Aloft. Many rooms had little balconies but if you didn't you had a tiny window. When I say tiny I mean it, they are small. There is only 1 shade on the window and it's a blackout one so the room can get dark when you need privacy.
Lighting sucks. Phone kept beeping, wanted to throw it out the window. No breakfast. Elevator is small and slow. Just not a 5 star hotel you know.
The hotel is so near for about twenty minutes from our place. We spent two nights here with my family and it was so perfect. The pool bar was a great place to sit. We also enjoyed our night swimming. It was a cool experience. Five-star service!
I would love to give a more in depth review but they can't seem to answer the phone. I have been waiting on hold over 10 minutes and am about to give up.
Aloft (Marriott) if you want to impress your customers then please have a human answer the phone. No one likes to hear a computer tell them "an associate will be you momentarily" over and over and over.
I had great experience here . Room were well cleaned and the place was cozy enough. The location was awesome and the atmosphere was also good. If i talk about the food was also delicious and properly cooked. The price was good as per comfort ability and quality services.
The bar close at 12 there was no complimentary breakfast all the wise location was great first job site February working out
This is my go to downtown hotel in Miami. The Aloft in Brickell is located near the rail and people mover, shopping, food and more. The staff is professional and helpful. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious.
Close to Port. Decent hotel for an overnight stay before a cruise
I had never been to Miami before and stayed here on a business trip. Good service on the front desk and in the bar. The room was a standard size. The air-conditioning was a very noisy, wall mounted type I have seen before in American hotels. I did not eat the breakfast, they do not advertise it and I would not really recommend it, there are plenty of other places to go nearby.
This location is built to be an Aloft franchise. Meets expectations. This place feels more W than the one at Brickell.
Thought the service overall could've been better. Nonetheless it was a decent place to stay.
Nice avitacion, a lobby with bar, billiards, music and passes pleasant. Only very small entrance with car.
Hotel was very poor quality especially for the price we paid. The rooms are super tiny and not at all what is portrayed in pictures. I was placed in a room where there was a cat in the room with a prior guest and the bed sheets were probably not cleaned. My eye was so swollen and when I told the front desk all they could do is switch out my bedsheets. After the sheets were changed my allergies went down which really makes me question if they wash the bedsheets. I will pay more next time to stay at a different hotel.
Located in the heart of downtown Miami construction. While the hotel is relatively inexpensive, the only available parking is valet at $25 per night. That said, the hotel itself is clean and the staff is fairly friendly. We had an issue the first night with a light being out and they fixed it right away. All in all, I would stay here again if given the opportunity.
Nice and clean with good amenities. Fair price. Centric.
Very modern. Super helpful staff. Excellent experience as always.
No hot water in the morning hotel didn't want to do anything about this
I love this hotel everything was perfect great staff Steven was so polite and kind.
The room was nice enough but we did not get any room service the first day until we asked for clean towels at bed time and there was not a guest laundry area to wash clothes. This made our already long trip even more challenging.
Teeny tiny room, sky high prices, raucously noisy lobby, noisy halls even late at night, overpriced valet parking with no handicapped option, lousy neighborhood, .... stay elsewhere.
Had a very nice experience. The room I got had a balcony but the only bad thing is that the people in rooms above me kept throwing trash and other miscellaneous things over their balcony and it would land on mine. Customer service was nice. Parking is very expensive. I would park in the cheaper parking garage one block over behind those tiny apartments!
