My stay at the Aloft Miami in Brickell was amazing. My room was very clean, the staff was awesome. I stayed on the 14th floor and my view overlooked the entire downtown. The location was great, next to amazing shopping centers downtown and Black Bird bar was a walk away! Two staff members really made my time memorable and I would go back to the Aloft just because of them. Jalinne suggested an amazing restaurant, Komodo, some fine dining and I really enjoyed my time. Isidro was the man helping me with all my late-night needs. Whether it was a cab to the Fountain Bleu or suggestions where to go late night. He actually got me a cab ride home when my phone died and I was stuck in South Beach, now that is what I call service! I recommend this location and hotel to anyone looking for a good time in Miami.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel as part of a tour and we're really happy with it. The room was huge with a massive comfy bed. There is also plenty of wardrobe space, TV, good air condition, and free WiFi. The bathroom is a decent size with a shower. The breakfast is great! Impressive service! Highly recommended to all!

I stood in brickell for only two days, ended up booking this hotel last minute. The staff was very accommodating and professional. I also landed a bit earlier than I had expected and they also managed to let me check in early. Very pleasant stay.

This was a terrible hotel experience. The staff was not accommodating, they do not clean rooms daily, the rooms look beaten up, and they definitely do not even try to keep up with cleaning in accordance with Covid standards. I would not recommend staying here at all.

Amazing staycation! Great service and modern hotel located in the heart of downtown. Cozy rooms, love the bed!!!!!
Hotel is super clean and modern, also pet friendly (A+) they even give you a welcome pet amenity with a Aloft pet water bowl, frisbee and wipes!
Loved the breakfast bowl (French toast with strawberries) and the pool are is perfect for a relaxing day with your friends, couple or pets.
Perfect pre or post cruise hotel located very close to the Port of Miami.
Cool bar in the lobby! Super friendly front desk staff (Jessie and Francine are the best)
Will definitely recommend and come back for another Aloft experience!!!!!

I wish I could've chosen 0 star.
Lame hotel. Very unpleasant experience.
I asked for some stupid blankets three times and I still didn't get it:
1st time, housekeeping sent some thin blankets. I told her that can I have some thicker one. She doesn't understand English. I felt she understood my gesture, and waited for a while, but she didn't show up again.
2nd time, I went downstairs (yes the telephone didn't work) asked the front desk for blankets. Another lady said they don't have thick ones, so I said I'll take the sheets instead. However the former woman left already, so I have to wait for the next shift who never showed up.
3rd time, I went downstairs again( yes, telephone never worked here) asking for my stupid blankets, and the front desk guy told me that he will bring me whenever he's free which he doesn't know how long it takes. YES SIR, BUT IT IS 12AM NOW, I JUST WANT MY BLANKETS AND SLEEP!

Then I gave up. End of story. Never choosing aloft hotel again. Wasted me some time on writing this comment.

We got this place for 2 nights and we expected it to be a good place. They had a pool table and a nice bar and it looked cool. The room we got was in the new Nuovo area and it looked nice too with everything it had. But when we got the room, we were told it had two futons and a king bed. We got in the room and there was the king bed and only one futon. We called when we got into the room and they said they couldn t do anything that night so one person had to end up sleeping on the floor. It s disrespectful that we were told there were enough beds and there wasn t and it is wrong that they are lying about all that. The only reason I am not giving 1 star is because while they did have their mistake, their place looks good and also they did make it up and got a inflatable mattress the next day. The hotel needs to fix their booking because it s not right that we had to have someone sleep on the floor because of their messed up booking.

In relation to the hotel is very good infrastructure, except that the attention of the receptionist is very bad on the phone and if you lose something no one is responsible, either for the forgotten things or for the things that are lost from the rooms, much passenger attention when they do the service

This is such a small hotel room. It feels like a jail cell or a dorm room. The fact that it has a super small window doesn't help. It also has a balcony directly outside the room but there isn't actually a door to get to the balcony. Not sure how that makes sense. And the only other way to get on the balcony would be to literally climb out the window - and the window is very clearly not intended to be used to access the balcony because it's right above the wall-mounted AC unit. Should have picked a different hotel.

Despite reading quite varied reviews on Aloft, I have to say I enjoyed my stay. I could barely identify the check in counter, as Aloft Def falls into that new age kinda hotel experience. Modern, yet minimalist. The staff was young and hip and friendly. It kinda feels like you are checking in to a club, then you get to your room, which has all the basic hotel amenities. The stay was comfortable and the the Brickell location a huge plus. If you are driving a rental, this area of Brickell almost always has Street side metered parking, which you can pay for using the app on your phone. For the purposes of my trip and my frequency of movement, I opted to not use valet and thug it out on the sidewalks. Overall that worked out cheaper for me, and I didn't mind having to check my car or meter periodically. Getting cabs or Uber or Lyft rides were also easy and fast. A frugal traveller, I ate at a Dunkin Donuts nearby or any other cool place, as this is an area with lots of things in walking distance. Over Aloft was a pleasant experience and I would return.

Location is very good but they were on renovations so a lot of notice during the day and the restaurant food was not good. The rooms were clean and is a modern hotel with all the services you need. The 4 stars is more because of location than anything else.

First impressions for a 6 night stay--staff is very nice. Facilities are very clean and attractive. Valet parking is $25 a night. Room is a nice size with fridge, safe, nice view and modern setup with a lot of cabinets.

I checked into this hotel today. I must say the images online do not match the actual facility.

Imagine getting two rooms and both room have an issue.

Room 1 - dirty bedding; discolored pillow cases, and AC not working.

Room 2- better condition but had a weird odor.

In an effort for the host to accommodate me, I was reassigned to two different rooms; both rooms appear to be fine but after being transferred, the room key program is not working so I am confined to one room due to no access. If I leave the room, there is no re-entey. Only access to rooms if needed is by the host, since he has the master fob to all units.

To add insult to injury, I realize all guest on the floor I am reassigned to, are black. It brings great concern and would hope guest of color are not being isolated to a certain floor.

I am being told tomorrow when a manager comes they will discuss with me all that has taken place but I don t see how this will help my bad experience.

I am really in a state of shock at this time. Never do I like post on website giving any negative reviews but this needed to be noted.

Me and my girlfriend had a one night reservation we arrived just prior to midnight. On each we got to the room we discovered that it had not been cleaned. Bed was not made, used towels on the floor etc. We immediately called the front desk and was told to wait for a call back. After a few minutes they called and asked we come back to the front desk. Upon getting there they only other room available had 2 queen beds (originally booked a single king). The receptionist only offered a free complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was very simple.

The room itself was decent and spacious but the bathroom was very small.

Good hotel, very well decorated (lots of waves), lobby with pool and games, very comfortable armchairs and space to socialize. I went as a family, the room is a bit small. Valet parking U $ S 25 (I found it a bit expensive compared to other parking lots)

Loft style was different but in a good way. Near to everything. Brickell City Center shopping center is five minutes on foot. Free coffee and snacks all day. Parking, as expected is challenging but $25 hotel in/oUR assess reasonable. Train and bus center near. Happy hour till 9 not bad. Recommend if you get a good rate..

AVOID this place! My wallet was stolen from my room when I stayed here. I can only assume it was taken by Housekeeping.

When I informed the hotel reception, they told me that Housekeeping noticed our room door was open, and had closed it. I assume they were trying to insinuate that we had left the door open, and someone else had popped in and taken my wallet. This is highly suspicious as 1) We definitely didn't leave our room door open, 2) the room doors are heavy and swing closed automatically - they DON'T stay open, and 3) they didn't mention this until I asked about the wallet. No further efforts were made by the hotel to help me.

Very dissatisfied, especially as I had a large sum of cash and my cards in the wallet!

It was a first-class hotel! Great interior, very good music selection and big portions of delicious food not to mention the excellent front desk guy house customer service. Highly recommended for both meetings with friends as well. What a great place for some amazing business deals. I am a 100% contented customer here! Kudos!

Horrible experience. My phone rang twice, waking me up around 9:30, 9:45 am. There was no answer when I picked up. Not ten minutes later, housekeeping barged into my room. I frantically tried to pull a shirt on. I said, "Excuse me!" and the maid looked at me with a blank expression. No knock or announcement, she just barged in. My checkout was 12pm by the way, at this happened just before 10am. My do not disturb sign was on and had been on since I checked in. I pointed to the sign and she hardly apologized. I had to stand in the doorway because her body language didn't indicate she was backing away. It was truly bizarre. Things actually got WORSE when I rand the front desk. No greeting. I dial 0 and get "Hello?". I ask if I have reached the front desk and the person answering says I have. I tell her what has happened and instead of saying anything close to, "I'm sorry", she simply informs me "well, we start cleaning here at 9:30". I said I don't care what time you start cleaning, my do not disturb sign is on and I am not due to check out until noon. She asks if I want to speak to the manager, I say I do because she obviously isn't equipped to help me. The manager "isn't available". I say don't worry. I'll come down to the lobby and I'm sure they will be available then. I go downstairs and they keep this game up, but when I say I will wait at the front desk until the manager "returns", she magically emerges. The front desk person Yvonna was incredibly rude, actually combative. I told the manager she has some major training opportunities with Yvonna and I tell her everything that has transpired. NO knock on my door, barging in, waking me up, and then being met with major attitude instead of any shred of hospitality or professionalism... wow. HORRIBLE. The manager had no confidence and seemed to lack training herself. Typically, you'd speak to me away from Yvonna, but the manager and I stood only two feet from her, and Yvonna interjected into the conversation more than once. Completely surreal. What woman in a state of undress does not deserve a sincere apology when their room is entered without consent? To make me go away, the manager took $100 of my stay and my $25 parking off. That is not even close to enough for what I dealt with this morning. I will be contacting Corporate tomorrow morning.

Reading other recent reviews here, I don't think this was an innocent mistake at all. The staff seems to enter rooms on a regular basis to STEAL. I guess I should be grateful I was in the room and only my privacy was violated and not my wallet.

I am currently sitting in the lobby exhausted at 10:47pm after I asked them to remove their nauseating signature smell (which resembles an overpowering cheap car air freshener) from my room at around 7:30pm. I went out to dinner and figured it would be done by then, but when I got back it still smelled.

I called the front desk and they said they didn t have my room number on their list of rooms to de-odorize, even though they I had asked them myself. They then said two other rooms were in front of me so I waited for them to show up. When they guy with the de-odorizing machine showed up he told me it would take 50-60 minutes to remove the smell.

So here I am trying to stay awake in the lobby and figured I would do so by writing a review and searching for a different hotel for tomorrow night.

If you want to be scammed, lied to, and disrespected - this is your hotel! The entire staff from front desk to leadership was beyond words disrespectful, condescending, and just simply rude. I was overcharged for my stay and it took MONTHS to get resolved, but only because I contacted the executive corporate office about it. Aside from the extremely rude staff, you will get ZERO reception in the hotel as it is located in between buildings. Good luck trying to make plans or contact anyone under this circumstances. Lastly, the pictures DO NOT match the actual hotel in person which feels like an episode of catfish. I m never, ever staying at this hotel

Im surprised this was a 3 star hotel to be honest with you. I think its in a great location. It took me only 9 minites to drive to Fox rental car. I could literrly walk 5 minutes and i was at 2 different malls. The trip to the ports was 9 or 11 minutes and from the major road again 9 or 10 minutes. For an U er ride it was $10 or $11 pool would of been $6 to 8 for 2 people. They have a fitness center, pool, two computers for the business people, small pool table, valet was only $25 in and out anytime. They also had a full bar a lot of seating areas and the staff was super helpful and friendly. I would definetly come back again for $75 a night.

If you don't mind your room smelling like a mixture of vomit and carpet cleaner, and you don't mind being given valet parking as your only choice of garage parking then you MIGHT be okay staying here. I travel on business all over the place and I won't be coming back to this Aloft unless I can't help myself and I feel the need to be exposed to the underage over inebriated Winter Music Conference \ UMF vibe all over again. No thanks Aloft Brickell.

I won t lie, the initial appeal of A-Loft Brickell...

I won t lie, the initial appeal of A-Loft Brickell was the price per night. As a traveling businessman who works for a cash conscience company, I find it difficult to find the balance between comfort and economy. The service, ambience, and hospitality at the A-Loft Brickell deliver a consistently pleasant stay. All due to their wonderful staff. I have only interacted with genuinely kind and engaged employees. In particular, a gentleman named Raul.

When I first met Raul, he was training a new employee. It was mentioned I was the new employee s first check-in. During this interaction, Raul seemed to be a great trainer. I can only imagine this stems from innate leadership skills and experience. Since then, there have been multiple occasions when Raul has stood out in different ways during different stays.

Tonight, after an extremely long day at work, I entered the A-Loft Brickell lobby. Immediately, a familiar face welcomed me and asked how my day was. After our conversation, I was asked what my plans for the night were. At this point, all I wanted was a burger and some reading. 20 minutes later, there was a knock on the door. It was Raul with a bacon and cheddar burger with a side of bacon and cheddar fries. The food was delightful.

Whenever it comes travel in Miami, my go-to is the A-Loft Brickell.

Great hotel at a great rate! We came here yo celebrate my husband s birthday. It was our first time in Miami, and our first at an Aloft. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean and spacious. Valet is $25 a night (much cheaper than everywhere else I checked) and the location of the hotel is great. It s right on the boundary of everything in Brickell, within short walking distance of several places (supermarkets, pharmacies, great restaurants, banks). Would definitely visit again!

I was excited to be back in the Brickell area of Miami and was looking forward to our stay on the weekend of Oct. 3. The Brickell Aloft is located nice in the heart of Brickell, close to good restaurants, shopping and metro services. The hotel room was nice with a small balcony. However as soon you exited the elevator there was a strong smoke smell. Not sure if there are smoking rooms on the floor but it smelled like it.
The hotel was experiencing a hot water issue after the previous weeks storm and an email was sent a few hours before check in alerting us. We had the option to cancel or receive complimentary points, breakfast and parking. I didn't know this as we were flying in and had some issues getting a car at the airport. At the front desk everyone was nice and helpful. We were told the issue was "luke warm water" and we thought that wasn't a big deal. The real problem was the water pressure which we were not informed about. There was very little water pressure and the luke warm water was trickling out of the shower head.
I hope the next time a Marriot hotel has an issue with the water, they are truthful. I would not recommend staying at a hotel that has barely any water coming out of the shower.

Aloft is great! Booked a room via Hotel Tonight this morning after disembarking a cruise, got to the hotel and atteptepted to check in at around 10:00am. The hotel did not have the room type I booked ready, but after joining the SPC rewards program (free) my stay was upgraded to a preferred guest room with a balcony that was ready immediately. 10/10 Will stay again.
