It was a good experience. the kind and efficient service at the reception. Large, modern, comfortable and clean room. Bathroom is good. The hotel is close to the metro. Breakfast is the weak point, but within the expected for the US.

An ok hotel that serves its purpose, a place to sleep and be mildly comfortable, service isn't bad but it definitely isn't amazing or even great, it just is, breakfast is scarce to say the least and the bar lady is rude af, why do I come here? Is just three blocks away from my office and that's convenient

My one week experience in your hotel was never regretted and remarkable. I greatly enjoyed it, and I promise to come back if there could be a chance. In return, I will give a five-star rating for the service rendered. Must try and you won't be disappointed!

I don't know why people are saying things about getting their stuff stolen. I've stayed at the hotel many times and never had any issues. I love this hotel and will keep coming back for my business travels.

I came to Miami for spring break upon arrival the front desk clerk was very rude but once I spoke to him regarding that his attitude changed before booking I called and asked was my room a suite the woman told me yes so I booked the guest room high floor view when I got to the room the room was so small I instantly started panicking so I asked to be upgraded after begging I finally got it new room was fine they don t have microwaves in the room I don t know how they sanitize and clean rooms but I still felt it wasn t cleaned correctly Be sure to check your sheets I also didn t like how I asked for a 1 pm check out and was told no I just wanted to sleep in for my flight

Pros: Nice location and service. Front desk got me in a room earlier than expected. That was appreciated. Room is ok. The bed is good and it s quiet and there s a cool bar in the lobby.

Cons: Smells kind of damp and stuffy. The bathroom is tiny. The bedroom light over the bed is a horrible cold blue hue like a taxi office, with an alarm clock that s older than me! And that s saying something!!

The positives outweigh the negs. I would stay here again, despite the smell

I have stayed at a lot of Marriott properties, including Alofts, and the rooms at this property do not meet expectations.
Overall you get the sense that this is a shoddy remodel of a much older property - very dark rooms and hallways with poor lighting, wall mounted and noisy AC units, the sound of plumbing in the walls, etc. I have stayed here for business 3 times now and will not be back due to the unpredictable quality of the rooms.
The service and location are good, but that can also be said for other hotels in the area at this price point and with much nicer rooms.

Horrible staff, unprofessional, rude and not well informed. I booked 2 nights and the day of check in get gave me lots of problems and could not check in and had to cancel due to the staff not being well informed. EXTREMELY unprofessional, my advice is if you don t want any problems with your stay book somewhere else where the staff knows how to handle situations in a professional way.

Average customer service, phenomenal car hops, pretty standard Aloft room. The location is pretty good. Thursday night is the only happy hour night. If you stay here, go see Jill at the Blackbird and then hit River for HH oysters and the stone crab ceviche.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff were outstanding. The breakfasts at re:fuel were all tasty too. The lobby was extremely heavily fragranced though, which was irritating and I can imagine would be an issue for those with fragrance allergies. Also, a small nit pick, they have a program where they promise a $5 voucher for every night where you reuse your linens instead of having them replaced, but they weren't consistent in leaving us the voucher even when we opted in before the deadline (only 1 out of 3 nights).

Was lied to from the get go. Reservation was for a larger room higher floor with breakfast. Was told that none of the higher floors were available because of remodeling but I had friends in 3 different rooms on the higher floors and they said that it didnt look like there was any remodeling. Was there for a wedding with a group of people, 2 hours before the event the hot water heater went out and they told me 2 different times that it would be fixed within 30 minutes and if there were a problem they call to notify me,neither were done. Ran into the guy fixing the problem and he was wearing flip flops and shorts and showed no interest in getting anything done. I showered in the cold water,my girlfriend didnt, the following morning I had to fight with them to get breakfast, they tried saying that only included the already complimentary stuff. Had to show them the reservation and how the price without breakfast and the one that I had said breakfast included in final price, I almost said screw it. Way to much hassle for the price. It seemed that they say things to you with no intention of doing anything and just want to get you to leave.

Stayed here for a weekend, and had a fantastic time. Awesome staff, and an excellent room. Was able to enjoy the area of Brickell and Downtown without having to drive. Can't wait to stay there for another relaxing weekend.

Stayed at aloft during a festival that I was not attending called Rolling Loud. Lots of 18-21 year olds running around the hotel. Staff was very pleasant during what I can assume was a trying time. The amenities of the hotel were nice, valet service pretty good. The actual rooms themselves were kinda odd. Very large, but felt like they were missing furniture - just open spots with nothing. Also the tiles in the shower are pretty slick, be careful!

This is the finest hotel in the neighborhood! The atmosphere was sleek and spotless. It's perfect for dates and business meetings. It was a great way to unwind. We've had a wonderful time here. You've got to have a decent name in the area. You've done a great job!

Stayed here for 3 nights and I m not a fan. The room is nice but they are really cheap. AC is large and the sink doesn t drain well. Everything single item cost money. Dispenser soap and tiny lotion. when asked for toothpaste, they don t offer any. They will sell you a kit for $6 though. I didn t know i was staying at a hostel.

Very nice and clean hotel. Good location and pretty much whole Miami is in walking distance. Outdoor pool at the back of the property, small bar with some bites. Continental breakfast is 10 dollars per person.
Unfortunately only valet parking available for $25 a night. Not all of the staff speak English, mostly just the most important phrases, but other staff is quick to help out and translate.

Very close to anything. Walking distance literary to everything, shopping malls, restaurants, bars, clubs, etc.
Clean and spacious room.
The front desk is very welcome and accommodating. The assisted me to have a specific room. They have a nice food market and a bar as well inside the hotel offering even entertainment with live music to some nights. So even if you are not in the mood to walk too far or out of the hotel, they will keep your excitement going.
Something that took my attention was the Valet Employee: LUIS CAMACHO (Not sure for his name spelling since I asked him verbally).
What a hardworking man. Running back and forth in minutes. Even that mostly of the time he was only valet , he would never stop running or delayed any car. Even when he was refilling water, once he noticed a car pulling over, he run to offer his assistance. I have been in a couple Valet Hotels Services but never see so much professionalism and dedication. He is a great asset to your company and deserve a recognition!
I would like to come back and stay here again!

Recommendations: Maybe you can add chairs on Balcony.

The hotel has everything you need for a good time. Pool, valet, bar in the lobby, snacks! really nothing bad to say, not an overcrowded boutique hotel but has all the makings. Conveniently located close to Brickell train station.

The property is overpriced for their rooms, amenities and service. The first thing I noticed when I got to the hotel was that the parking wasn t included in the stay. This isn t the hotel s fault as I missed that small detail when booking however, it should definitely be included in the price considering that the hotel really doesn t offer any amenities that would make give a guest any incentive to return.

When I got to my room I noticed the room set up didn t really make sense; both the bed and shower are positioned right in front of the balcony (which is the only source of sunlight in the room) so if I wanted to sleep or shower, I had to choose between that or sunlight.

The towels were rough, hard and sparse. I also had a few towels that didn t look clean (photo attached). I had to request extra towels on the 2-3rd day because there weren t any extra in the hotel room nor did housekeeping come to replace the towels or clean the rooms daily. I wouldn t blame the housekeepers for this problem though. Anytime I needed something & asked them for it directly, they were more than happy to accommodate me.

NO MICROWAVE in either the room or the hotel. This was the biggest annoyance for me as I don t expect to have to drive 5 mins to the local 7/11 to heat up food when I m paying over $100 per night for a room. The excuse that the front desk gave for why they no longer have a microwave in the hotel was COVID-19. He said that it was a popular point of contact so it was required that they got rid of it. I didn t see it being anymore of a popular point of contact than the elevator (which was working, in service and had a dirty keypad may I add).

Coffee/Tea supplies were also sparse. The hotel is extremely stingy with their supplies so I d recommend staying elsewhere if you re looking for a comfortable hotel stay for more than 3 days.

**this part of my review was removed from booking.com for whatever reason**

I got a notice slid under my door the same morning from the hotel stating that the water would be turned off from 9AM-later in the afternoon for the yearly inspection . It would ve been nice to be notified that I wouldn t have running water when I checked in so that I could ve planned better.

Great hotel service and convenient valet service. The location is in the middle of Brickell and the downtown area which is booming. The rooms were spacious and offered a balcony on both sides to views of the city. The rates were also reasonable for during the week.
