We had visited this clinic and met dr Samantha for an opinion to proceed with the surgery on our cat. We were very comfortable with dr Samantha with her advise and opinion that we decide to keep our pet instead of putting him down which was advised by the first vet we visited which is advanced vet at jalan pari burong. We like to thank you dr Samantha for her positive advice and motivation.

Big thank you & much appreciation to Dr Winnie Teo & the team for their care & kindness in caring for our beloved dog Mochi while hospitalized. They were responsive, flexible, compassionate, professional and willing to go out of the way in ensuring that our dog was well taken care of. While Mochi had passed on due to her serious incurable ailment, we were very touched by the sincerity displayed through your hand written card of condolences, especially in empathizing in our loss. Big thank yous once again. ~Mark & Caris

I think the reviews are a little unfair. My take is that if it's simple things, I send my dogs there. They received adequate treatment for the following:-
1. Skin issues
2. Left over baby tooth, they even asked if I want to take a test to Ensure my dog's kidneys were functioning properly before putting him under
3. My other dog hurt her foot and I wanted to make sure it wasn't broken, we received good service and treatment.

I do admit they aren't very advance so for more serious issues like when my dog scratched his eye I go to other vet that is a lot more costly and we managed to save his eye with contact lens while it healed. When we went to Allpet they didn't know such things could be done. they are affordable and not everyone has the means all the time for very expensive vet care.

visited the clinic on Thursday, 1st October 2020 at 7 PM for our 12 years old dog whom we suspected to have incontinence and met with the new doctor, Daniel who after checking doggy's physical body and urine sample, confirmed our suspicion and prescribed Propalin at 0.7ml twice a day.

Potential side effects and precautions were not advised by the doctor or any staff members so imagine our bewilderment and heartache when doggy had diarrhoea almost every 2 hours for the next days after ingesting Propalin as prescribed. We had to do our own process of elimination and search online about possibilities for the cause of the diarrhoea while trying to soothe the poor girl who became very weak from all the exertion even after we had given her probiotics such as Canigest.

This is not acceptable at all. The grief caused on the voiceless and humans were due to the lack of advice which a medical staff should have given. Even till today, there's not a single apology from anyone in the clinic despite a long email thread.

Strongly recommend Dr Bernice Cheng for guinea pig care and treatment in the NE part of Singapore! Her treatments so far have worked well - 1 case of GP bitten by dog, fast & full recovery; 1 case of sore feet (almost but not yet bumblefoot), full recovery. She listened to my concerns very well, and did a thorough checkup of my piggies each time (check teeth, palpate tummy etc), recommending complete solutions that went beyond simply medicating the symptoms away. If you stay in West part of SG there might be a better vet, but if you stay in the NE part of SG i would say that Dr Bernice is one of the best choices for guinea pig treatments. Please call to request for appt with her if you want to bring ur piggies in for checkup, I can't recommend her strongly enough!

Do take note that this clinic uses a slightly more conservative approach based on my past experiences (lower doses but more frequent follow ups, which is ideal for the safety of the animal), so if you prefer aggressive medication for your pets then this would not be the clinic for you. The staff/pharmacists have also always been helpful and gentle towards all my pets, and (this is really just my opinion only) i feel that the clinic works well as a team.

Thank you Allpets & Aqualife & I hope you keep up the good work! Fighting! ( * * )

The staff are all very friendly. The place is very clean. Charges are listed clearly on the wall. After consultation, explained how to administer the medication well. Made sure we all understood. Even took the time to explain to my 8 year old.

Dr Frederick chua is the most patient and professional vet that i have seen so far. The rest of the younger vets will keep pushing for tests and more tests but Dr Chua did not and he patiently explained to us why was needed and what not necessary. The way he handles animals shows professionalism and he is also very careful not to hurt my dog.

Doctor can not diagnose my cat s issue of hematuria and prescribed some supplements without curative intent (the price is high btw). I was told that it can be my cat s mood issue which caused the bleeding in urine, and asked me to adopt the watchful waiting approach....I went to another clinic immediately for second opinion and very quickly found out it was the kidney stone. I did not see professional knowledge in this clinic and will not visit it again.

The fishkeeping hobby has always tended to be left...

The fishkeeping hobby has always tended to be left to its own devices regarding medical care of our pet fish and it can feel like a stigma sometimes to go so far as to consult a vet over a fish. However after over 15yrs in the hobby an encounter with a particularly nasty and resistant strain of ich in my oldest and largest aquarium left me so far out of my depth that I decided to give Allpets and Aqualife a call and the experience was pleasantly surprising.

The person on the phone was polite and helpful, forwarding my concerns to Dr Chua immediately, Dr Chua then provided some initial basic advice readily. When I highlighted the fact that it wasn't just a typical ich infestation and sent them some pictures I was immediately invited to come in for a consult. Upon arriving I was greeted by a group of very friendly staff who attended to me promptly. It was a very busy day at the clinic and when I eventually met Dr Chua he was friendly, professional and more importantly seemed genuinely interested in my predicament. He gave me ample time to explain my concerns, listened to all of it, gave me much needed information and in depth explanations on how to best remedy my situation. He even asked me to keep in touch regarding the progress of the treatment which was an unexpected nice touch.

I left feeling much more confident about treating my fish, with proper vet grade medication and a comprehensive list of vet certified information that could help me not just now but in the future. I strongly recommend any aquarist caught in a bind to reach out and give this clinic a try, it didnt cost me much more than what I would have spent on off-the-shelf meds from any given fish store and it sure beats poking around in the dark or on forums seeking sometimes unfounded advice from self-proclaimed fish experts.

Brought my 14 yr-old dog to vet and was attended by Dr Nally. She spent more time trying to convince us to do tests on my dog than diagnosing his condition. We did a blood test and my dog was found to be healthy despite his age. He was prescribed with antibiotics for his urinary infection, on second day he started to vomit and by third day he could neither eat nor move. We called the vet and they just told us to rush him down for emergency operation. They insisted it wasn't an allergic reaction to the meds they prescribed. How can they just decide to operate on my old dog without further diagnosis? We stopped feeding the meds and he got better but his condition was worse than before the visit. Totally regretted bringing him there.
I do not know if they regularly disinfect the clinic because we found ticks on my dog after his visit. That's completely unacceptable.

Vets always changes ppl, so it's really hard to maintain 1 that can follow up with my pet condition. Prices is quite X too. Not open on Sunday & public holidays too so if pets is hospitalized, no vet is around at night & public holidays & Sunday. Hence it is really a clinic & not hospital.

My Dog died after Dr Nally Tan gave 2 injections and some medicine. Same thing, she is only interested in doing lab tests on my dog and keep insisting my dog is old. Prior to seeing her my westie is very healthy...just skin problem.
My westie vomitted and refused to eat after the injection. He passed on within 48h. Before that he was mobile and active...

Beware of this unethical vet!!!

Beware of this unethical vet!!!
Almost trusted the vet on her analysis 1.5 years ago. She did not even did a proper check on the root cause. Mentioned that if I did not let my dog under oxygen he will die anytime.
She provided 2solution, 1 is under oxygen and go for MRI or put him to sleep. If my dog will to die anytime then what the point of putting it to sleep?! Thanks God I make my own judgment and brought him back home. My dog was under oxygen for that few minutes and cos me hundreds. She gave 2 pathetic medication when I decide to bring my dog back. Like can only last for 2days..
Thanks God!! He was safe n sound till now. If I would have trusted her, my dog would have already gone by her mistake 1.5 years ago!! They just want you to spend more money in the clinic. Very unethical!!

This is going to be a long post but I am posting m...

This is going to be a long post but I am posting my true real-life experience with this clinic and I will be providing my honest feeling about this vet. My dog has been with them for 6 years and going. There was once that she have to had a major operation and was being operated by Dr Wong which left afew months ago.For choosing of vet wise, I would suggest to the public if its your first time there, go for the more experienced one as I realised that the vet left after working for a few years which I finds it annoying as I have to keep looking for a "regular" vet which can tend to my dog all the time instead of changing vet and have to explain all of my dog situations, although they might have history of the dog but I heavily doubt that the "new" vets will run thru the history before tending to my dog. Personally, my dog have seen quite afew vets although I have tried to keep it to the lowest as possible.
Currently, I will just mentioned some which is still working over there. These advises are based on my free will and speech, which one can don't heed as afterall, to be honest, it's your choice if you would like to listen to it or not.
Dr Marese Ong - She is a very friendly but take her work seriously. She have shown alot of concerns towards pets and she is the type that "when its time to play,we play. when its time to study.we study." My dog doesn't usually get to visit her often due to time issues, but she never fails to show her professionalism towards caring for the pet.

Dr Bernice Cheng, she is the vet that I won't recommend to anyone. She is like that type of customer service staff that serve rich but ignore the poor. I remembered when my dog was hospitalized, perhaps she isn't the appointed vet for my dog, hence, she would care LESS about my dog. (PS:I am aware that vet earns commissions but this is totally unprofessional.) During the period that my dog was hospitalized, she have shown little interest in caring for my dog,as she was the appointed vet for weekends, and the words she uses isn't tactful enough. I remembered clearly that sentence she told me which was "Your dog is dying soon, you just be prepared for her funeral." I am shocked by how straight and direct she was, and sorry to disappoint her, my dog is still WELL AND KICKING AND IS ALIVE due to another vet which helps me to save my dog life by trying all sorts of methods and not giving up. As a vet, you should learn to talk tactfully and even though , you're giving a bad news, say out with empathy. As what if something was to happen to your child, you wouldn't like a doctor to say that right?

Dr Winnie teo & Dr Frederic chua- I hasn't let my dog get consult by them yet so I can't comment much.My dog used to have a regular vet which tends to her, but left SG to Australia for further studies.
Reasons for visiting:They have vet which are eagle to help heal your pets if you get the right vet for it. As i notice that actually some vet is specialized in their own way. It's better to do more research about it than just poppin in the store wanting to get a vet when eventually, as the result might turn out to be bad or worst than you expected. The counter staff are friendly and no matter how busy they are, they will try to find time to communicate with the customer. An advise, once you've chosen the vet, and if you felt that its the right vet for your pet, stay with the vet. This is 1 feedback I hope the clinic can take into consideration, which is to put some vet on standby for emergency case. There are times when I would like to book for a appt to check my dog but the staff informed that all the vet are full for the day, meaning they don't have free slots. I wish to comment that we are able to predict when we can bring our dog there for dental check etc but we can't predict when our dog need emergency treatment. This is the only part the clinic need to be aware of.Above are all my personal and true experience, and no falsify information being given. Its up to you if you would like to heed the advise or not. Thank you for reading.

Very good and experienced vets there... unfortunately, the time management of the clinic is extremely bad... made appointment but have to wait for 2 hours and the reason they gave was today got a lot of walk-ins ... so it seems like priority is given to the walk-in instead of those who made appointment... in the end, the vet only attended to our pet for 10mins after the 2hr wait...

Terrible experience. They given me a senior lady vet Dr Cheng. My dog was having spine issue and was sick. They were doing a blood test for my dog and trying to withdraw his blood from his front leg. Unfortunately it was not easy firstly because my dog is timid and jumpy when he sees people and 2ndly they tried to withdraw but not much blood coming out from the vein. So I suggested to do it from his hind leg instead. However they did not take my advice and said to withdraw from the neck instead and want me to stay outside of the room not to see them on the procedure. Thank God I insisted to stay in the room and witness the process otherwise my dog would have been dead during that visit. Because my dog was struggling, the nurse grab him very hard to a point that he is out of breath, I asked them to stop and I turn my dog around because he was facing the front towards the vet and what is shocking is his tongue literally turned purple! If I didn't stop them immediately, my dog would have died there right away if I was to stay outside the room! Think twice before leaving your pets alone in their hands without staying around or when they asked to stay outside the room. I never trust or leave my pets alone during checks and I'm glad that I done that.

Yesterday was the first time I went to this clinic for my cat's sterilisation. The staff were friendly and thoughtful. One of them specially came to apologise to me for the long wait for the collection of my cat as they were having some problems with her.

The doctor we got was Dr Marese Ong. She is very nice and friendly as well and does not advise those 'extra' checkups for your pet unlike some vets who like to do that to earn extra from customers. She explains thoroughly about the surgery and answers our queries.

My overall experience at this clinic was good, I hope their service standard will stay the same.

Senior vet Jessie Wong apparently did not show emphathy towards my very sick dog. She was so rough till he let out a yelp just from taking temperature. First vet I ever met that do not use petroleum jelly. Consultation less than 10mins and just want to get it over and done with? Did not even try and understand more from us about his sickness. This type of behaviour should not come from a caring vet. Its not always about $$$.

If you turn up 30 mins before they close, their surcharge is $85! This is exploitation. My case was an emergency! I had no choice but to bring my injured dog there as the clinic has his records. The staff did not even inform me of the surcharge. I discovered just before they put me in the queue. I find the fee exorbitant. Other clinics don't charge so high, if at all. Anyway I found another clinic with more compassionate staff. Thank God. I won't go back there again after being their regular for the past 10 years. A great disappointment. Dr Frederick Chua is their best but can hardly get to see him these days. The other vets are not as experienced.

Dr Chua is an incredibly experienced & patient vet. He does not push for test unnecessarily but instead takes time off to explain to us slowly why it is not necessary. I trust them with my poodles. Have never ever been to any other vets for 10 years except allpets ... It means a lot to me when a vet bothers to take time to explain slowly part by part and not based on assumptions. It shows that he bothers & not just some fast game consult..

My toy poodle went for castration , but they only do the surgery in the afternoon when the clinic is closed. Fasting the night before (30/8), surgery only next day (31/8)afternoon and evening go home cannot eat and vomiting. We brought him back to the clinic and they give him injection to stop the vomit and medicine for the gastric .The next day (1/9) still the same ,whenever he try to eat , he will throw out later. We continue the medicine for a few days but still the same. 06/09 we decide to bring him to another vet, they did a x-ray and base on the vomiting and the dark poo, he is suffering severe gastrointestinal problem. Till Today 11/09 , he is still taking medicine and monitoring the vomit. I keep asking myself have i made the wrong decision ? What if the surgery was arranged in the morning (like most of the clinic) this may not happened. Small dogs might not able to endure such a long fasting time. :( feeling sad

The vets here used to be more experienced and skilled. Visited recently for a consultation and follow-up (different doctors on each occasion), and some of the instructions given were opposite of what the other has given. The lack of experience (and knowledge) is apparent compared to the time I visited a few years ago. Overall, not a very pleasant visit and made me lose confidence in this place.

It was my first time at this vet. I was first attended by a really well mannered staff at the counter. My dog was then seen by Dr Daniel Chia and a nurse whose name i think is Karthik, if i am not wrong. I am really satisfied with their care towards my dog, especially nurse Karthik! Also, Dr Chia took his time to explain every doubts that i had, and went the extra mile to explain everything and anything to me. Definitely reccomend anyone to bring their furbabies here!

The definition of passion for work is clearly evident at this establishment. Ever since I got my puppy, I have been patronising this clinic for their service standards and their genuine care and love for animals. When I cancelled my appointment, the vet had personally called to check on recovery process of my puppy and gave suggestions on aftercare.

Before I say anything, i just wanted to point out that this was my first time ever gg to a vet so I had no expectations (aside from reading reviews online). I called in to book an appointment because my terrapin had an aural abscess but it ruptured and I wanted to have it checked. I was attended by Emily and she was very nice and kept apologising for the wait even though it was unnecessary because my pet was attended to promptly:) . She helped me register at the front :). The diagnosis was done by Dr Danial(daniel?) Chia and he asked me about my terrapin's living conditions and eating habits and complimented me on doing a good job. He told me that my pet was doing fine and did not need a surgery because the opening was healing by itself. He gave me follow up instructions. Emily said that if i had a question after the visit or if my there's something wrong w my terrapin, i can just whatsapp them a picture and enquire. Overall everything went swimmingly and I had a good visit at this place :)

My pet terrapin had aural abscess. We came in as walk-in patients. The counter staff was very polite and concerned about my terrapin. He also advised that as walk-ins, we may have to wait a little longer.

I left the terrapin at the vet under the care of my children as I had an urgent matter to attend to.

I was surprised to receive a call from Dr Chua detailing my terrapin's condition and the course of action he will be taking. I consented to the procedure and he went ahead with it.

The cost came up to a little more than $100 which is inclusive of the consultation, the surgery, 2 plastic syringes with soft tips and a 500ml bottle of disinfectant.

It has been 7 days and my terrapin is healing well. Kudos to the team.

I wouldn't recommend this veterinary either.

I wouldn't recommend this veterinary either.

AS ABOVE SO BELOW:
I've encountered numerous unpleasant hostile encounter w Dr. Frederick Chua whenever I visited my pet, (albeit he wasn't my vet), His passive aggression hasn't gone unnoticed.

FAILURE TO ADMIT THEIR MISTAKES:
There were multiple complains about their mistake, surgical mistakes, mistreatment to the patient & clients.

HOSPITAL:
It is fair to say that the clinic is not suitable to run as a hospital due to the unusual space constrain of approx 30 sq.ft of a tiny ward. There are no drainage in the cage, shd patient get into any accident (pee or poop) they'd be left drenched for more than 24hours or in the event an IV drip, blood transfusion gets disconnected on weekend/public holiday & after operating hours, there won't be any nurse attending to the patience's needs. This is becoz there are no surveillance camera, nor nurses on duty after hours.

CHANGE VET:
I've decided to change to another veterinary clinic, because both my dog & myself were suffering under their treatment.

My dear Goldfish had swallowed a pea and was behaving very abnormal. He was bottom sitting most of the time. I decided to take him to all pets and aqua life clinic for checkup. In support of Dr. Chua a Dr. assisted in the checkup. She helped insert a syringe sedating my goldfish in order to move the stuck pea which was out of visibility. We all were playing blind. Then she suggested to keep him in Epsom salt. A day later my goldfish spills out the stuck pea in his quarantine tank and is now back to normal. I am so happy that the Dr was so patient listening to me. Thank you very much for saving my dear Goldfish. Best fish Dr.

Inaccurate diagnosis was given to 2 of my family dogs!
We brought my first dog to the vet one day together with her urine when we noticed something doesn t seems right with her. Thereafter we realised that she has lost her sight. We describe her symptoms to the Vet and they took the urine for a test. Thereafter his diagnosis was cataract and they are unable to provide any treatment. Thus we went to another clinic (Clinic M), and during the routine checkup (which includes urine test and we conveyed the same symptoms), my new vet quickly inform us we have to call off the operation because the blindness wasn t because of cataract, but diabetes and it is severe.

My 2nd dog is a 17 yrs old dog who also lost one of her sight. As usual the diagnosis was again cataract.. So last week I brought this old dog to clinic M for vaccination (definitely because of above incident), when my new vet saw her eyes, she asked whether we are giving any medication to this old dog? We were confused, isn t it cataract? She said no, it is due to glaucoma which is pressure in dog s eye...
