Inaccurate diagnosis was given to 2 of my family dogs!
We brought my first dog to the vet one day together with her urine when we noticed something doesn t seems right with her. Thereafter we realised that she has lost her sight. We describe her symptoms to the Vet and they took the urine for a test. Thereafter his diagnosis was cataract and they are unable to provide any treatment. Thus we went to another clinic (Clinic M), and during the routine checkup (which includes urine test and we conveyed the same symptoms), my new vet quickly inform us we have to call off the operation because the blindness wasn t because of cataract, but diabetes and it is severe.

My 2nd dog is a 17 yrs old dog who also lost one of her sight. As usual the diagnosis was again cataract.. So last week I brought this old dog to clinic M for vaccination (definitely because of above incident), when my new vet saw her eyes, she asked whether we are giving any medication to this old dog? We were confused, isn t it cataract? She said no, it is due to glaucoma which is pressure in dog s eye...
