Al Serra Auto Plaza Review

I purchased a used Lincoln in October. My check engine light came on, and imagine my shock when they informed me that they don't service Lincoln's and I'd have to go to a Lincoln dealership on Lennon Rd in Flint. I purposely made my purchase there because I am handicapped and it is 5 miles from my home. When I went to speak with the sales manager I was already angry. I quickly became livid when I was told by the Lincoln dealership that they don't accept the company my $3,000, five year warranty that I bought from Al Serra. I want all my money back but was told no way. I could get a different car for my money, but was very disappointed after driving a half dozen cars, all costing more. They haven't heard the last from me. I intend to speak to the County Prosecutor's office on Monday. Let's see if my review is posted.

Cody has continuously provided outstanding customer service. He is sympathetic to our issues and does everything he can to make sure we are happy.

My husband and I went in to see what was available for leasing as his lease was up and mine was just about up. With the virus going on no one seemed to have anything with in our budget, We stopped in the showroom and as soon as we walked in and Brian Miller helped us immediately and wow was we impressed how he worked with us from start to finish. After taking my car to the Kia of Lansing because it was shaking when I drove it, and being quoted an $1,100 repair cost, I took my car to the Kia of Grand Blanc for a second opinion.

The Kia of Lansing greatly exaggerated the repairs that my car would need, including the cost. Kia of Grand Blanc gave me accurate information about the repairs, and I the cost was slightly under $300. My car is as good as new now.

I am so grateful that I brought my car to Kia of Grand Blanc and had their friendly staff make the repairs than spending an extra $800 on repairs I didn't need at the other dealership.

I was in the market for a new car and decided to shop Al Serra as they have treated me right in the past. I connected with a sales consultant Greg White at the Cevrolet dealership. Due to some bruised credit a new car would have been a higher rate than I would like so instead purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Greg was great and helped me with my choices from searching new to finding my car.

The day after I purchased the car all of the brake lights came on, all I could think was 'oh no' I had bought an as is car and now I am screwed. Instead Greg to the rescue again had me into service that day at no cost to me, but it doesnt quite end there. I purchased a new remote starter a couple weeks later and brought it in for installation and had them check over another brake noise. The car had some bad brake work done to it by the previous owner, missing parts wrong parts poor quality after market stuff you name it there is my nightmare. On a chance I message Greg again since I am now looking at several hundred dollars on an as is car. Instead he took care of me, car fixed, a free loaner for the week i had to have it in the shop, and a happy customer.
I thank Al Serra for taking care of me as a customer, and especially Greg White who went that extra mile after the sale. If your in the market for anything it is where I would go. They will get you in what is right for you, and care enough to make sure you are happy after its done.

My experience with Anquan Clemmons was great. He was helpful and worked very hard to get me a good deal. I just recommended Anquan to a co-worker yesterday. She was headed to another dealer but I suggested she see Anquan. She told me about her great experience and said she will most certainly recommend him in the future. I was actually referred to him as well so his service speaks for itself.

Huge selection of vehicles with a certified mechanic center for checks and repairs for your vehicle. Prices are reasonable and they do offer loaner vehicles. I was not impressed with the Trax vehicles they offered for a loaner. Offering more variety may result in interests of purchasing a new vehicle or leasing a current year model. Overall, the location out performs most, if not all competition within the county.

Bryan was extremely helpful during the buying process as he answered all of my questions and he made the transaction as smooth as possible during COVID-19. I have already recommended a few of my friends to see Bryan for their next car purchase. I ll definitely be back when I want to purchase another vehicle.

This is the second time I've traded in a car and bought from their used lot and have had pleasant experiences both times. The gentlemen I have worked with are always kind and welcoming! Even on the as is lot on the first car I bought from them they put on new brakes and rotors, when they weren't required. Also gave me more for my trade in to help me out and process of purchasing was basically hassle free! I haven't gone to any other dealerships and don't plan on it in the future.

I went and got a oil change today and was disappointed oil prices went up and they didn't do a good job on washing it and said in I wanted the sticker up to remind me to get my oil changed I have to ask for one Smh I won't be back to the Buick service I will go back to Chevy where James takes care of me

Months worth of being treated like they just don t care. 2015 suburban. all I want is to get it fixed!! Save yourself the issues and disrespect from management and go to a small mom and pa repair shop. I ve had Months of the same issue and I m leaving with a huge bill and the problem still not fixed. AGAIN. shame on me for going back every time. If they didn t fix it the first time I should have moved on. But no, I though they were the best in town. They have been the only people who ve touched this vehicle. I m in awe

Cadillac Service
I have had the worst experiences with Al Serra Auto Plaza. Every time I have my Cadillac serviced it always comes back to me with an additional problem.
My last experience with them was 2/21/2020.
I took my vehicle in for a service code which read a mass air flow sensor. Onstar and Auto
Zone both told me the SAME
d'iagnostic. But Al Serra said something different. I .Allowed them to do the expensive diagnostic test which cost 125.00 of course the diagnostic
test came back with Something different other than What I originally took my car to be serviced for. I explained that all I want serviced is what I brought my vehicle in for. They gave me a loaner vehicle on Friday evening. The service assistant said he will have an estimate for me by Monday the next week. The assistant call me Monday about the findings.
I told him I wanted to bring my own parts in for my vehical repair- The asst. asked me if I could have the parts in by tues, I said No. I get a discount with G M employee parts center because I am a Employee for General Motors and I explained that I can only Pick up parts on a certain day And time- the service assistant said ok. I told him
the parts would be in Thursday for me to pick up. I drove to Belleville Mi. to pick up my part. I was called every day and harassed about getting the loaner vehical back to the dealership because it was costing them more money
for me to drive the loaner and they are not making any money off my repair. The asst. also said this dealership will not :able to loan me another vehicle in the future.
I told him currently Im on my way to pick up my part and I will be there on Friday to drop them off to him.
I recieved two calls Friday morning on my voicemail harassing me saying, we need our vehical ASAP!!! We know You went to pick up your parts for your (budget) repairs but we need the vehical now!!! He said, we put a
trace out on
our vehical. He was implying that I stole the loaner car vehical!! NOW I'm really
Upset. I signed an agreement Stating, If the vehical isn't returned by the next day after vehical // repair is finished you w-ill \be charged daily until the vehical is returned. No where in the agreement did it say
we have the Right to harass you until the vehicle has been returned.
After picking up my car on Saturday I had an additional issue. my Blinker lights and my gas gage both has a delay or a Pause. Neither signal is responding correctly. my gas gage doesn't Show how much fuel gaged for a few minutes after my car is engaged.
I had other problems in the Past with this dealership. I'll never do business with them again!
P.S. I've also heard of issues with others and this dealership smh

My girlfriend's family referred me here. I live all the way in Belleville, about an hr away. So I hadn't made the trip, until the other day when it was time to return my girl's lease.

I got to meet her family's guy Hudy Handy. He's a cool dude, and not just because I'm currently at his desk filling out my paperwork for a 2017 Buick Regal. That's just a coincidence, but never the less I am.

I took a few pictures below. My girl got a 2017 equinox by the way. So we're both happy with our new cars. They're a friendly bunch, patient and not just because they're trying to sell you a car.

People come over and just talk, just because they see "my little cute baby". Their words, not mines lol. She likes daddy's new car to. That's it, I'm just a dude, not really a huge fan of some past experiences just like anyone else, but this was just chill and nice.

I have leased three cars from Al Serra. The first time I wasn't sure about
trusting a new dealership. However, I have found Al Serra to be a place
that will work with you. I see them as friends. Since we live in a capitalistic society
we know they have to make money, but they don't reap you off. I am pleased with the dignity, respect, honesty, friendiness and courstey they showed towards me.

I like the service I receive from all departments. Everyone in every department
is friendly and makes you feel like they want to help you. One of the greatest things about Al Serra is that once you buy the car or lease it, they do not ignore your needs and are just as helpful and friendly after the sale.

I almost always have issues with their service center. My car was damaged in their possesion the first time I took it for an oil change. They did cover the repair cost from the body shop, but it wasn't without great attitude and unprofessional ism front the service manager. That brings me to today issue. Eric Boitos the service advisor gave me attitude right out the gate. Went back forth with me about a issue my car is having and because he couldn't recreate the problem right then and there he wasn't going to report the problem. If my car wasn't still under warranty I wouldn't go there. That's not even the kicker, but I'm so angry and frustrated I collect my thoughts to include more. Their service sucks!!! I'm always anxious when my car is in their care, even for a simple oil change.

Rob Collins is the best salesman that Al Serra has! He's honestly the only reason why I got a car here cause I could've got the exact model somewhere else. If you're looking to get a car make sure to ask for Rob he'll take car of you and put you in a car you love! :)

It is said you can tell a lot about a business not when things go right, but when they go wrong. After flying from NY to Al Serra to pick up my used car, I drove off the lot after making an awesome deal on a used Audi A8 (Wholesale). Just a few miles down the road my thermostat went. I had AAA flatbed the car to two places and no one had the time nor interest in looking at this type of car and I needed to get home. I went back to Al Serrra and talked to the used car manager Glen. He immediately stopped what he was doing and drove me personally to get the car and brought it to Al Serra VW and asked his amazing technicians to get the part and get this guy home. He gave me a loaner for the night and the next day the part was in and I was back in NY! I was so impressed with Kevin, the out of state salesman for getting me into this car and now with Glen for getting me home! I'll always recommend Al Serra to everyone I speak too! Thank you guys! A true family business doing things right becasue you care about the customer being happy. That I AM.

I'll start from the beginning, I bought a used 2011 Ford Fusion from Al Serra, easy and quick and friendly process, Tom Muldoon was my salesman. Before I got the car back to my house, the transmission went out. Wasn't the dealer's fault, the car had been driven several times before I tested it and it was driving fine. Just bad luck. Al Serra towed the car from Flushing, back to Grand Blanc free of charge and gave me my trade-in back for the weekend. Tom got me into a 2009 Jetta, which was being worked on at the time and was my preffered choice before the Fusion. Gave me more for the trade in and offered a free detailing and gas in the tank. Al Serra really cares about their customers, and took great care of me. I was thoroithor pleased with my experience, and Tom Muldoon is one heck of a salesman, really cool and nice guy. I love my Jetta, and I'm happy I chose Al Serra to find a new car.
