I have had the worst experiences with Al Serra Auto Plaza. Every time I have my Cadillac serviced it always comes back to me with an additional problem.
My last experience with them was 2/21/2020.
I took my vehicle in for a service code which read a mass air flow sensor. Onstar and Auto
Zone both told me the SAME
d'iagnostic. But Al Serra said something different. I .Allowed them to do the expensive diagnostic test which cost 125.00 of course the diagnostic
test came back with Something different other than What I originally took my car to be serviced for. I explained that all I want serviced is what I brought my vehicle in for. They gave me a loaner vehicle on Friday evening. The service assistant said he will have an estimate for me by Monday the next week. The assistant call me Monday about the findings.
I told him I wanted to bring my own parts in for my vehical repair- The asst. asked me if I could have the parts in by tues, I said No. I get a discount with G M employee parts center because I am a Employee for General Motors and I explained that I can only Pick up parts on a certain day And time- the service assistant said ok. I told him
the parts would be in Thursday for me to pick up. I drove to Belleville Mi. to pick up my part. I was called every day and harassed about getting the loaner vehical back to the dealership because it was costing them more money
for me to drive the loaner and they are not making any money off my repair. The asst. also said this dealership will not :able to loan me another vehicle in the future.
I told him currently Im on my way to pick up my part and I will be there on Friday to drop them off to him.
I recieved two calls Friday morning on my voicemail harassing me saying, we need our vehical ASAP!!! We know You went to pick up your parts for your (budget) repairs but we need the vehical now!!! He said, we put a
trace out on
our vehical. He was implying that I stole the loaner car vehical!! NOW I'm really
Upset. I signed an agreement Stating, If the vehical isn't returned by the next day after vehical // repair is finished you w-ill \be charged daily until the vehical is returned. No where in the agreement did it say
we have the Right to harass you until the vehicle has been returned.
After picking up my car on Saturday I had an additional issue. my Blinker lights and my gas gage both has a delay or a Pause. Neither signal is responding correctly. my gas gage doesn't Show how much fuel gaged for a few minutes after my car is engaged.
I had other problems in the Past with this dealership. I'll never do business with them again!
P.S. I've also heard of issues with others and this dealership smh
