I had our apartment's carpets cleaned before we moved in, upon moving in, I found the edges in the rooms had been unattended to. I called the company right away to have it fixed, but they couldn't come that day and we had to move in. I decided not to have them come because we couldn't have wet carpets while we were moving in, but I asked them to compensate me for their errors. They agreed to refund me only $25 of the $170 they charged me. I let it go. About 30 days later I watched another company clean some carpets and that got me frustrated again about AJs job on my home. Upon looking at AJ's website I saw an "unqualified 100% money back guarantee" so I decided to call them about it. I also called to see what equipment they used to clean my carpets. I found out they didn't use the equipment I preferred and they wouldn't refund my money. (At this point it had been about 30 days since they had done my home, so I understand the problem with the time lapse, but even from the beginning I didn't like the job they'd done and they only offered to refund $25...not 100%). The technician agreed to come and redo the places I wanted redone, but when he got here (4 hours later than he'd originally told me...very unprofessional) he tried to sell me on the method he liked, and agreed to go over the edges with the method I wanted. I let him do it. Was glad he came out to redo it, but frustrated that he wouldn't just do it the way I wanted him to. He also didn't have any protective gear for my walls or furniture, and said my furniture would be safe on the wet carpets. Don't waste your money. I won't be using AJs in the future. I wish they would have just refunded me my money in the beginning so I could have used it to pay a different company to clean my carpets.

These guys were available to clean on short notice. They pushed my appointment back by four hours, but they came into the evening and got our three bedroom town-home done in an hour and a half. The carpets looked good, but not great. I could still see some remains of sticky, hard to get out stuff in the eating areas of the home. But the carpets smelled and felt like new.

They cleaned carpets I had cleaned previously by another service that said they could not get the stains out. AJS got them out! They were also much more reasonably priced than the cleaning service I used before.

Originally I wasn't impressed. The technician that came out didn't want to put in the effort to get our carpets really clean.

However, Victor heard my concerns and came out himself to make it right. He worked on the problem areas and got them super clean at no additional charge. He was kind and professional!

I have no complaints about the cleaning - it was nothing remarkable. However, the price came to $95 for three REALLY, GENUINELY tiny rooms and no hallway (quoted at $65). My sister paid the bill unknowingly, and when I politely called and asked about the inflated price I was just told that the rooms were bigger than normal. Not possible, and $30 is a lot of money to me right now.

Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. I called Sunday expecting they would be closed and I'd have to call back the next day. Just as expected I didn't get an answer. But then they called me back!! I was so happy. I asked if they could do a cleaning the next day at 10 am expecting that they wouldn't have that time available. He said they would be there at 10 and get it done. Sure enough, the next, right on time, in comes Mark. He does a fantastic job. Very professional, quick, clean, everything was perfect. I would use these guys a thousand times over.

AJ's was awesome. They cleaned the carpets for our new house, as well as 2 units in a duplex. They were there either same day or next-day and did a great job for a very fair price. I would definitely recommend AJ's and will certainly be using them in the future.

Victor and his wife were amazing. They arrived right on time, pre washed all the spots and the carpets look great. I had just had my walls painted and they took every precaution not to put any dings in my new paint. It took a couple of days for the carpets to dry, probably because of the amount of scrubbing they did. I put fans on them, left the windows open to help the drying process. I will employ them again!

I had a great experience with Victor at AJ s carpet cleaning! He is very honest and kind and did a great job on my carpets and upholstered chair. They are very reasonably priced and stick to the price they quote you. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

They were fast and had a good price but I think they left soap in my carpet. Since they left there are dark streaks every where. Looks like they missed spots when they were sucking back up the soap. I don't think I would use them again.

We just bought our house and I wanted to get the carpets cleaned before we moved anything in. It was very easy to schedule.
Isaac was particularly wonderful to work with when we didn t get the keys until much later than we anticipated all this happening on a Friday evening. He did a great job and it was very affordable. We will use them the next time we need to get our carpets cleaned for sure.

I have been using AJS carpet cleaners for years and they have always done a good job for me. I manage several residential properties and always used them for my carpet cleaning.

I needed our carpets cleaned same day. I called about 5 of the other companies I knew of and no one could make it happen for me.

I had AJS come to clean my carpets they did a great job! They were able to clean all of the spots out of my carpets. My carpets looked like new. I will be using AJS Carpet Cleaning in the future.

I really liked the owners who came and did the job- very professional. They said it would dry in 4-5 hours but it took more than 24 hours and when it was dry lots of areas felt crunchy. I think they're thorough and would be good for heavily stained carpet bc of their great guarantee, but they're a little more expensive than others I've hired and I don't like the crunchy feeling.

Loved these guys. This was my second time using them and will continue to do so.

I feel mixed with this company. They cleaned my carpets well, but they used some special cleaning stuff for our family room since we had some puppy pee in there...and it stunk like dirty feet/vinegar. I called and complained and they came back and cleaned them again and said he must have had too much vinegar in the solution to prevent the urine from crystalizing. Well...it helped, but it still smelled :( I contacted them and they told me to try to neutralize it with baking soda or that my carpet pad may be ruined from the urine...the urine wasnt even that bad though and that particular smell came after they cleaned. So anyways, they were nice, great customer service, but it was a very frustrating experience-they did try to make it right though and the carpets were cleaned well.

They cleaned carpet in 2 rooms and the stairs quickly and did a good job. They were friendly and worked hard for a fair price. They noticed some slight stains and told me what to watch out for. They found some stains with a black light done by the cat. We couldn't see it without the black light. Good work.

Do not recommend at all. I didn't think this was possible, but the carpet was actually worse when they left then when they started. Unfortunately I was unable to inspect the carpet before paying or I never would have paid.

I was rushing out the door and spilled shoe polish all over our new carpet. I tried rubbing it with cleaning wipes, which just made the stain worse. I had to get to work, but I wanted to get the polish out of the carpet as soon as possible. I called AJS and spoke with Victor Nugent. The first thing Victor did was offer advice on how I could remove the stain myself, which I thought was kind of him. I said I was at work all day and would be happy to pay the $100 minimum. Before I got home that night, not only had Victor *completely* cleaned out all the shoe polish, making the carpet in our master bedroom look new again, he went one step further -- in the guest bedroom there was a stain from when our friends stayed with us and their two-year old had been ill. The poor girl made a mess from her diaper on the floor, which got cleaned up right away, but which left a light yellowish stain. Victor got that stain out as well, no problem, plus another stain in the room I hadn't even noticed yet. So, quality service, great communication, fair price, immediate response, going above and beyond -- yes AJS Carpet Cleaning totally earned this 5 star review.

I love the service and prices from AJS Carpet Cleaning. I called Saturday morning and within 3 hours they were at my house. Our carpets were super dirty due to our dog and foot traffic, but after the cleaning from AJS, the carpets looked fantastic.

The cleaning agents that they use are non toxic that way you do not have to worry about headaches or sensitivities to chemicals.

I chose AJ's because they were able to help right when I needed them. The carpets looked much better afterward, and they are 20 year old carpets, so that was an accomplishment! The 24-hour stain treatment that was applied to the stains that didn't come out in the cleaning didn't touch the stains, but no guarantee was given that it could. The service tech was very friendly, but took quite a long time because of being so! Lol. I'd use this service again. Did a way better job than the guys that did the no-water cleaning job to the carpet!

Victor is very professional. Our carpets were as bad as they come complete with milk stains, ink stains and oil stains. Victor and Guillermo came in and did a thorough cleaning of our carpets, cleaned our stairs and a large area rug. I highly recommend them if you are looking to get your carpets cleaned.

We hired them to clean our basement carpet after having a cat that peed on it. After they left, the house smelled worse and the carpet never dried. After four days of feeling like we were living in a big diaper pail, we called them back. We were told that the suction wasn't working on the truck when they cleaned our carpet, so the water, solution, and cat urine were all left in the carpet. The owner came back and cleaned it again, but the smell didn't get better, and we ended up pulling out the carpet to replace it.

The gentleman that came to clean was very gracious and helpful to us. We wanted to have a steam cleaning so that it would not need fans and wait for all of the drying time but we couldn't find that on a few days notice. We should have mad an appointment sooner to find an opening to have the steam cleaning done. This job was taken care of quickly, caringly patiently and thoroughly. I would use them again.. Used tons of water! took for ever to dry with how much water they used left water stains on some of my base boards, night stands. I put fans on areas i could the first night after they where done and it was still wet the next day, Almost 24 hrs later still wet! Did not get all the stains and pet smells that said they would. in fact with how much water was used they smelled worse the next day. the carpets felt really hard and crispy after all was dry and now you can here the pad underneath. did OK on the high traffic areas got most of the dark from that out.

The technicians who came to my house did a great job. We had some cat urine to clean up from a new kitten, and after about a week since the cleaning the carpet still smells good. They treated the area and cleaned the entire room thoroughly, but efficiently (about 45 minutes). Also appreciated that there were no hidden fees. Just paid the minimum, with the pet treatment included. They also had great customer service each time I called with questions before the appointment. We'd be happy to use AJS again!

After trying four other carpet cleaning companies we found that AJS Carpet Cleaning is certified with a national carpet cleaning association and uses some of the best cleaning equipment available. Our carpet had pet stains; also dark areas where the heaviest traffic occurs. Mark at AJS did a great job. The pet spots are gone and even the high-traffic areas look better, which has never happened before after a carpet cleaning. We waited about a month to write this review, to see whether the stains and dark spots would return to their former condition. So far they haven't. AJS's pricing isn't cut-rate, but it's a good value for the job they do. We'll see how things go, but at this point we recommend AJS highly to anyone who has had ongoing problems with carpet cleaners or who simply wants a really good carpet cleaning. We'll definitely use them again.
