The rooms have ants all over and lizards. We paid for a superior room, the shower is just a handle that shares the same floor as the toilet. Our room is across a busy streeet and this hotel is isolated. Do not stay here. We are here another night and constantly itching our legs because we got bit by bugs in our sleep!!! The free shuttle to the beach is only twice a day so it s hard to work that into your schedule. Not worth the money. Do not stay here!

This place is a scam. I booked a "superior sea view villa" and ended up on the road side with traffic and a tiny bit of sea blue between trees. A complete rip off. They wanted to upgrade me by charging me 225% the amount for another place closer to the shore and yet little view over the sea. When I declined they refused refunding me and the front desk person called "Joy" used the sarcastic face and did not want to contact her manager. These kind of thieves do not deserve making money. You can find cheaper and better places right on the sea shore for half the price.
We went there for our honeymoon which is a once in a lifetime experience but was majorly spoilt because of our stay there. We were not provided with the room we had booked but a much smaller room which was actually terrible... There was power failure as soon as we reached and it was not resolved even after our repeated complaints. We had to ultimately pay extra money to get our room upgraded but the amenities in the new room were also nowhere close to what we had paid for. Even the AC was not working. The staff was extremely rude especially the people at the reception desk. They charged us a huge amount for a little sunscreen stain on a bathroom towel which was really surprising and we were treated as convicts by being called into the reception area and asking us to explain the towel stain in front of some people who were there... It was actually humiliating... I mean.. Come on... Is this the way you treat foreign customers ? Who are paying such hefty amounts just for a great experience in a foreign country and you are ruining their experience with your rude behavior. They also tried to charge us twice for some petty stuff we had consumed from the mini bar...which was actually complementary in the previous hotel we had stayed in krabi... Really petty and pathetic attitude... Highly regrettable... I would not advise anyone to ruin their holidays by staying here... Strict NO...
Nice place to stay if you have own transport. Good Seaview from the restaurant and poolside. Stay at Resort and not the Villa as you have to cross the Main road for those staying at the Villa. Thb3000 for hotel deposit is ridiculous. Place needs regular housekeeping as there are lots of dry leaves in the compound. Nice ambience in resort ( forest)
This hotel has a lot of potential. If I was interested in investing in hotels, I would ask the owner her price. It's sited on the edge of a rock cliff face, with dramatic views of the ocean and the Karon beach. Close enough to Karon to reach it easily, it has enough space between it and the town to maintain its elegance.
The grounds, rooms and restaurant were well thought through and are in good taste, taking advantage of the area's natural beauty and picking up on the traditional thai aesthetic without being slavish. The staff are friendly and gave us a room upgrade.
Unfortunately the hotel seems to be poorly managed. Communication between different staff groups is poor, and results in a fragmented guest experience. For example, we made a dinner reservation at the front desk that never made it to the restaurant, and we had to wait 1.5 hours to get into our room after check-in because of bad communication with housekeeping. In addition to the poor integration of staff and inadequate investment in their training, small things like too few towels, too little complemetary water, an underwelming breakfast and a pool that needs maintenance all point to a management that is focused on a short term return at the expense of a long term investment that could give a much better yield.
This is a nice hotel with kind staff, and a good value - but plan on patience and go out to eat.
Very VERY far from the beaches. It is constantly necessary to walk up the steps. The hotel has no access to the sea. Through the next - about 15-20 minutes on the road / slippery steps. It is better to take something closer to the coastline. The only plus is the view from the room.
Walked out pretty disappointed, views were incredible but the staff and service was absolutely terrible. Unorganised, understaffed and rude . Pick your game up secret cliff you charge good dollars we expect the service to match!!!
If you love bungalows, then this is your choice. But for the price of 500m there are several very decent hotels with a good pool (here they are small) and ideal rooms (here they are tired). Breakfast at 4-
The room was dirty when we got there, there was no hot water, the wifi still did not work, and the air conditioner had problems too.
We were moved to a room next door and of course there was no hot water and internet. They did not treat us as I expected and the service to our problems was inadequate and unprofessional.
We spent the first evening (4 hours) together with different engineers in the room instead of showering after a flight. As of the moment, I still do not have Internet and it does not interest anybody there either. Then when we awoke in the morning we discovered that the hotel had decided to make renovations so that we were actually in a construction site.
Above all, the hotel did not look as it was presented on the Internet. The hotel is very far from anywhere and you have to book a golf car to take you to reception.
It was such an amazing place to stay. Views from the room, restaurant and the pool were amazing. It was the best place I have stayed at and I will definitely be coming back. only thing that you have to be aware is that the place is located on steep hill/coast and you will have to walk lots of stairs/hills, depending were your room is located.
+ Excellent breakfasts with fabulous views from the restaurant. Species pool. Beautiful grounds, the staff is friendly. - the staff does not know Russian, many Chinese, the view from the room on the sea is only in some rooms, because the trees are blocked (they are not allowed to move), the rooms are much smaller than the photos from the site, the beds are big but very hard.
Spent 3 nights at this resort earlier this month and it was a great stay! We paid for an upgrade to the oceanfront cabana, which was worth the price. The beach views, calm ocean and ability to watch the sunset on our patio were highlights of the trip! The hotel restaurant was exceptional, not only because every meal we enjoyed had a variety of options and was flavorful but also because the prices were so reasonable for an oceanfront resort! The entire island and resort were a lot more laid back and calm than other touristy coastal front towns in the southeast. we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!
The view is amazing from the restaurant and form the rooms as well. Food is nice and the service is also very nice. Enjoy your time here. The pool area is also very nice. We enjoyed every bit of our stay here. This is mid way patong and Karon! Karon is closer.
I had really nice experience staying at this resort. Private, quiet, clean and beautiful view. Good value for money. Staff are very friendly, they also have free shuttle service to downtown Karon and Patong beach.
Stayed in 2017 and would return. Beautiful hotel in lovely leafy garden setting. Loved the common areas with the huge swing, comfortable seating and children s play room. The restaurant has fantastic views. Breakfast buffet was good. Be aware that it isn t walking distance to shops so you will need a taxi or take the shuttle bus that only goes a few times a day. Also as it is on a hill there were lots of steps or a steep path to the reception/ restaurant area.
Please don't be falled by the pictures on the website this hotel is worse than terrible. The rooms are dirty and inadequately equipped. The first room they put us in was over a main road and at the top of a hill. The wait for the free hotel transport could be up to half an hour. The room had a corner bath with a pull out shower hose that reached no more than 2ft, you had to sit on the bottom of the bath and hold shower. We moved rooms to same side of road as the restaurant but had 90 steps to walk up from the room to the restaurant and reception every day. We had to live out of our suit cases for 2weeks as there was only 1 tiny wardrobe and no draws. The staff were rude and service was painfully slow. The pool bars were never open and the swimming pools dirty with several broken tiles. We were given a bill to settle 9 days into our holiday!! My 8 year old granddaughter was stopped and questioned for taking a croissant out of the restaurant at breakfast and then my husband was told he was a "very bad man" for taking a cup of coffee!! AVOID this hotel there are far better and cheaper.
One of the best Place to stay in Phuket. A Bit costlier but youll love your stay. Specially in the villas that are above on a hill with great view of the ocean and swimming pool. Very nice rooms and bathrooms.
They definitely don't live up to my expectations, and my expectations aren't high. Started with charging 80 baht for water when you can buy the same water for 7 baht in any store (its not the money, its principal). The room wasn't clean. Spider webs everywhere, ants on the counters. I had to tell them twice and they still didn't remove the spider webs. I had to do it by myself.
My son got virus infection and I called the receptionist and asked him to call for an ambulance, but he could not speak English so he hang up the phone. So i had to call for an ambulance myself.
You always have to ask 2-3 for something to get it. I wanted to talk to the manager about all my concerns, but he was never in place. The receptionist said, come back at 2 o'clock so you can talk to him and when I got there two he wasn't there and all the sudden he would come back at 4. I tried this for couple of days and even left message for him to call but nothing happened. Nothing is taken seriously. Choose another resort despite the beutiful view you don't get anything for you money.
Get both garden view and sea view, the more rain, the more it is, 55, when low season will be a little shabby Waiting for a little improvement. Food should improve Both price and taste But erase the view of the million digits, share it together ... Brothers ..
The location is quiet and scenic with great views from the restaurant and some rooms. It is however suffering from complacency and lack of maintenance in some areas. Food at the restaurant was terrible.
Very disappointed by the behavior of the receptionists. No consideration and very bad reception. The restaurant looks very nice but just for a coke because the food is disgusting compared to all the other hotels in the area. There is a lot more fun and cheaper next door
This resort is on the hillside by the sea. Will see Karon Beach, Kata, the place where the room is not modern because it has been built for over 10 years. Guava food may not be as good as Thai people should.
This place is amazing. They have great staff with an amazing restaurant. The rooms are really clean with an outstanding view. I would totally recommend this place for anyone and would totally come back to this great place
The food are disgusting and the manager is ridiculous and chef. Spend 1400~1500 to eat frozen seafood?!??? Am I lost my mind?!?! I can use the same money to eat better food at the night market . What s the point of this unprofessional restaurant still open?????
Good property with zero maintenance. You will get to see beautiful view from Ur room. But the rooms are untidy with no maintenance..There are huge number of lizards and cockroaches in the room due to which we had to change the room twice but still problem did not solve and somehow we had to manage in the room full of lizards. Even the bedsheets are not clean and the worst part of the room is washroom.

Nice accommodation on a hill overlooking the sea. Divided resort into categories according to villa size. The divider is a local quite frequented road, it is possible to arrange transport to the accommodation from the reception using electric vehicles. Excellent breakfast with sea views on the terrace, restaurant and pizzeria, taxi rank, sauna, gym and free shuttle bus to Karon and Patong beaches. Swimming pools in both parts of the resort overlooking the sea.
It took us over 24 hours to get hangers to hang our clothes and ask for them 4 times. It has been a long time since cleaning was done properly in the bathroom. Dust abounds on the decor and it lacks light. Too bad. The park is well maintained. At the pool, very small, sunbeds for sunbathing are broken. There is no mattress and we have to lie down on the wood. It's hard. At the reception level there is progress to be made. The prices of the bar and the restaurant are prohibitive for Thailand.
The property does not have slippers in the room. No shower, no cotton bud. The entrance to the hotel is quite dangerous. Because on the curve Room access is not convenient for the elderly.
Book during low season, inexpensive, beautiful room, next to the sea, is a resort along the hill. There is a golf cart to transfer from your room to the lobby. Nice view pool
The hotel is located in a hillside away from the hustle and bustle of Patong and Karon. The rooms have a nice view of the ocean, but as the hotel has no beach you are depending on transport to go a beach. The hotel has a free shuttle that goes to Karon and Patong. The pool is a bit small, and has no sun in the middle of the day.
Enjoys a good sea view. But it's a tough walk along the steep path fro/to the reception desk and the restaurant. It seems Chinese groups like staying here. With a motorbike, the location is not a problem.
Beautiful setting, and on arrival received an upgrade, which was a nice surprise. I did feel that the staff could have been more organised however: I wanted to do laundry, however had difficulty with the form. On calling reception for help, the staff member just kept referring to the safe in the room. Restaurant was ok, I was staying on a day where there was a power cut, so can forgive the slow service. Checking out was chaotic, allow plenty of time if you have anywhere to be afterwards.
Accommodation, beautiful view, very natural, comfortable sleeping room, very clean, good service, both restaurant and accommodation. There will definitely be a new opportunity.
I was lucky to stay for 3 nights. Hotel offered an free upgrade as well. Awesome views everywhere. I was lucky to see such an amazing sunset from my balcony. Morning you will be lucky to have your breakfast looking at long stretch karon beach, even you can see the big buddha. Sparkling clean rooms with great service. If you ride a bike it's an awesome location, if not you can test your bargaining skills.
Resort and location are great. The rooms are well maintained and the view from the rooms is amazing. Bare in mind that the main road separates the upper part of the resort and the bottom part.. it is very dangerous to cross this main road so if you are in the upper part and need to go to the restaurant or reception.. good luck. I would recommend being in the bottom part. Reception service can be improved. The pool location is amazing however since the is no access to the beach from the hotel, i think the pool could be bigger and also there are only a few pool beds. The hotel restaurants are very good
awesome location. view is mesmerizing from cliff. it's in between patong and karon beach. Better have a two wheeler and enjoy as the market is not at walkable distance but they have transport facility for Patong market daily Morning 10 to 4 pm. Enjoy
The secret of Secret Cliff?hmm look at the pictures and let them speak for itself except of the humming toilet I can't let you'll smell. Privacy! Take alot of newspapers and duct tape. Phones don't work. You need to download an app to order stuff. Bathroom smells. Shower drain blocks. Menu is expensive. People look into balcony from restaurant above. Wi-Fi very poor signal. Big gaps in the front door... No assistance when carrying bags leaving. Bugs and mosquitos in the room. External access to the TV was a bit fishy. A mouse curser was moving across the screen to select random computer files. So had to disconnect.
But, on the bright side the view was fantastic. (Yet, by the 2nd night they placed a big tube light opposite the balconies because none of the balcony lights worked which then obstructed all view.) Beach bag, towels, umbrellas and flip flops were provided for use.
Somewhat older and due to the steep slope some rooms can only be reached by a fair march up / down. Breakfast is plentiful and the view is fantastic. Rooms are a bit noisy, fortunately we had no noisy neighbors.
Benefits: 1. Nice location between Karon and Patong. Despite the hotel is quite isolated, it takes 5-10 min to reach Karon or Patong on taxi or tuk-tuk. We never had any problem to reach the hotel from any place of the island. 2. Remarkable view from rooms and restaurant. 3. Stuff is polite and responsive. 4. Free electric car to/from room to/from reception. 5. Nice breakfast with wide range of local dishes. Downsides: 1. Room pictures on Agoda did not meet the actual. We got absolutely different room (upgraded, but much more neat than booked Deluxe Ocean View according to room s picture on Agoda). When we asked to provide the booked one, they showed absolutely old room at the pool with loud music. It looked like the booked room, but before renovation. 2. Overpriced for NY The resort doesn t match for staying with children.
As the other people have said, the place needs maintenance and some TLC. As for the food it is poor at the best. I am a Ceoliac and cannot eat gluten as i makes me very ill, so when we booked this hotel i emailed them and asked if the do a gluten free option, they mailed saying that they do gluten free. What they didn't tell me is that i would have to pick through the menu to find something that i could eat, normally rice. Breakfast buffet was the same there was only two things i could eat, when i complained the person on the desk was not interested.
I arrived in the evening with the rain, everything seemed different from the photos found on the site .. instead of the morning with the sun I am heartened .. nice view of the sea .. only on the side of the balcony but satisfying with beautiful sunsets .. . cozy, clean room, great Wi-Fi .. so true that I could make video calls in Italy. Towels changed every day, all too much..the staff are kind and helpful..cooling good..the only peck is that it takes the scooter to get around 3 km from karon and 5 from Patong..com Anyway if I were to come back I would come here. congratulations to all .. I would say great ..
I m only giving this hotel 2 stars because the views from the pool are fantastic. But this hotel was not accommodating at all, was insanely over priced (700 baht for a cheese pizza!), and the location sucks. There is absolutely nothing within walking distance (not even anywhere to get water) so you have to take an over priced taxi from the hotel even half a mile down the road. You can walk but the hill is very very very steep and dangerous. While the pool was nice and the room was ok (our shower head didn t work properly) I would not stay here again
Pros: The views. Cons: Everything else. Old rooms, badly maintained. Moldy bathrooms. Dirty swimming pool. Lame breakfast. Xmas songs everywhere on a 90 seconds loop.
A hopeless hotel with lizards in the room. The food in the hotel is very expensive and the stuff is such that you can not eat. Prices like from space. Not only the service was not very nice, very few people spoke English. I do not recommend.
