Promotional pricing is great. They advertise that they will migrate your website for you. I just found out that this is not the case. My website is apparently not compatible with their servers so I was told that there is nothing they can do. I didn't know that was a thing for a hosting company... Make sure you are compatible before you switch.

If you have a business website and you're your own webmaster, then you know how vital it is for your site to be up 24-7/365 days of the year. This company offers state of the art web hosting and worth every penny of investment in their "Turbo Package".
I can't say enough about the tech support. Not only are they "here" in the U.S., but they there for you 24-7/365 and are a decent bunch of people doing their job like everyone else providing the service that is offered. They took the time to answer my questions and even migrated my site twice! This happened just because my last web host's tech support left me so much in a state of uncertainty that I knew it was time to move on but couldn't make up my mind as to what package I wanted at A2Hosting.
I'm also very happy and satisfied with the speed in which my site now loads! My Google Adwords campaign's CTR is up steadily because of quicker loads and obvious reduced bounce rates! Well Done A2Hosting! You get my thumbs up!

A2 hosting has not let us down in the 18 months we have been with them. They answer any support questions we have no matter how mall.

The suport is the most important part of any hosting. Also the speed they reply is very important.

EDIT: Anyone else notice how their Google rating INCREASED? Guaranteed they are asking Apache customers to write positive reviews for free hosting, bet you $100.

Terrible!!! Our highly trafficked Window hosted website has been down for almost 2 days now. No redundancy for paying $1,800 a year? Amateur Hour. CSR's on live chat closing the chat window before answering questions, not a clue. 4 customers/account I will be moving off A2 "Hosting" ASAP. I won't even talk about the customer service while my sites are up.

Though disappointed with the abrupt suspension of the website without any warning because of 'overuse ' of resources, ( the WPvivid backup quickly filled up the backup versions of our live, and staging installations sites to more than 6GB!!! , the support was prompt as soon we informed them to remove the suspension allowing us access to file manager to reduce size ourselves. We called on telephone and opened a ticket and the support was swift. Thanks to tech support. As for the resources policy of unlimited wp installations, please clarify why is it capped at 10GB ?

I've used five or six of the big hosting companies...

I've used five or six of the big hosting companies, and a few of the smaller ones, and, so far, A2 is the best I've seen in terms of price, speed and customer support. My site is so small and my speed is so good, I'm using my development server almost entirely for backup, editing live on production (it's a small site as I said). One of the reasons I chose this outfit is that is not owned by the usual evil conglomerate that owns all the others. But I'm staying because it seems to care about the quality of its service. I'd heard a lot of great things about its service, and I found this to be accurate.

Oh yeah, and did I tell you which evil conglomerate-owned hosting company I dumped like a hot potato to come to A2? I thought you'd never ask. Hostgator. Do they suck? Not to be rude, but now that we're on the subject--Yes, they most emphatically do.

I am a very chaotic person with many projects going, but with no time for all of them. I begun to develop an idea and found at A2 Hosting the perfect environment for it: top quality platform for your software, a rare jewel in the universe of hosts. After a year I need more time to rethink my original idea. I asked the A2 people for a less expensive but valid solution for a hosting plan. If possible, i would give a higher rating. Support was provided in a efficient, friendly yet professional manner. My frustration level and stress was at a very high level and the way in which my problem was handled eased that anxiety level right away. I wish I had contacted A2 s support right away but after a not great experience with support at my previous domain hosting company I actually dreaded contacting support. A2 s support is first class!

I have been an A2 customer for 7 years (since 2013) and one thing I must say - they are just awesome.. Like any other tech company, they too have glitches in their system at times. But what really pleases me is that they are always responsive and eager to help. Moreover, I was short on money yesterday and I asked for a discount in my renewal of package and to my surprise they did offer me a good discount and I was happy to make the payment which was overdue for close to 10 days and all my sites were down. Recently I joined A2 to host my company website. I called for consulting before I make payment. I had genuine explanation about the various hosting options from one of the representatives and was really helpful. Everything goes as they say.

This company does not care about their clients or their reputation! My website designer had to spend many hours educating the A2 technical people how to do their job. I also had to spend many hours dealing with their people. I spoke to a manager about "making all this right for their client" (which would have been very easy as I am a very reasonable person) and they simply refused and said something like "sorry you and your web designer had to spend so much of your time dealing with issues that our company should have handled on our own". They could have easily said something like "what can we do to make you happy?" Rule number 1 in customer service is: Do what you can to make each client happy. Instead they did nothing and therefore I am writing this negative review because they chose not to make their client happy. PS: Someone from this company called me after this review asking me to spend more of my valuable time to help them make their service better BUT still never offering to make things better for me! Amazing!

The issue was a vexing one, and the outcome was not what I hoped for. However, the handling of the matter on the telephone was outstanding in terms of patience, willingness to work it out, and technical and industry knowledge. All in a very pleasant conversation. Almost made me forget that I would have preferred a different outcome, but I now understand the policy better. I do think that the website is misleading in terms of the amount of storage available for my plan.

Signed on with them for a new Wordpress website, and have had a lot of questions that are probably naive and simple to them, but it's like rocket science to me. All answered promptly, and professionally. The service is excellent. Very happy I signed on.

Pathetic support..Phone calls takes hour to connect only to know they will create a ticket and escalate it to next level however no action/responses on tickets for more than 24hours now. Their live chat will also keep you in queue for long time and when you connect they also tell the same details. Very incompetent and I have decided not to continue with such provider whose support is of no help.I will take my money back and switch over to a better provider whose support will not frustrate us and impact the business too.

So far amazing! Migrated my sites for free with lightning speed. Constant updates. AND US BASED SUPPORT TEAM. I was with bluehost and experience hell that you can not imaging so was desperate to switch. So far very happy!

Almost a week into using A2 hosting and I'm extrem...

Almost a week into using A2 hosting and I'm extremely impressed. After migrating a couple of our client's sites to A2 there is an incredible decrease in loading times (we did purchase the additional Turbo Server option, I can say it's well worth the money).

Our clients are happy which is by far the most important factor for us, but as a developer, I'm loving the platform as well. I've found in the past that platforms that have a great number of built-in tools and services also tend to take control away from you - this is not the case with A2. On the other end, in the past, I've found that systems that allow a great amount of control usually gives you enough rope to hang yourself with - again not the case with A2. For example, rather than using their built-in scripts to install a WordPress site, I manually moved over one of our client's sites so that we could keep the same naming conventions used for our databases. Configuring FTP and a remote SSH connection was as easy as it should be. After changing our client's domain zone file I was pleasantly surprised to find that an SSL certificate had been automatically issued for the site. Great! Freedom where I want it, automation where I would rather pass - loving it.

Their support is unlike anything I've experienced before. I've been around the block, having used Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform in the past. These services definitely have different goals and features compared to A2, but their support looks like a joke in comparison. I'm used to having to pay for a support plan just to get an answer on the same day (AWS people know what I'm talking about). A2's support was free with my plan, and 7 out of the 9 responses came to me within an hour. On top of this, when I first joined the platform I had a variety of questions. Along with their quick responses, they juggled me between a number of specialists to quickly tackle questions on topics ranging from billing concerns to in the weeds technical.

On top of all of this, the price is fantastic. We've purchased the reseller hosting. We price our hosting for our clients to undercut the competition, but even so, we're still making a hefty margin. We started out by purchasing the wrong package as well, and there were zero gripes about giving us our money back after cancellation.

Their servers are fast and fully featured with everything needed to run professional websites, and security is their number one priority for all their customers. A truly life changing experience in terms of problem free excellent service for me.
