On the surface, A2 hosting appears to offer it all. I was impressed by the documentation and promises about Python hosting and some of the testimonials that they really know their stuff and support it. Unfortunately my experience has been different. They just offer vanilla cPanel, which is possibly misconfigured so that Python logging doesn't work. I have been in a never ending loop with their support to try to get logging to work, and in spite of one escalation so far, a week has passed and they keep telling me how "sorry they are for my problem", but that they "can't help debug an application". For vanilla WordPress hosting, I bet they're great, which is why I gave them 2 stars. If you have any technical background or expect to use one of their other offerings, you will likely be on your own and frustrated with their support, which doesn't seem to understand how their own platform works.
Migration completed successfully. There was a problem with the largest site not loading, but Josh fixed that quickly. He was very responsive through the process. If this first experience with A2 is any indication of future performance and service I will be a happy camper.

I'm extremely impressed, from the ease of signup to filing my first support ticket (my error not theirs). Because I hadn't closed the ticket when the issue resolved itself, there was a mechanism in place for the support gurus to follow up and MAKE SURE I was not having any further issues. Initialy my ticket was confirmed with an autoresponder and then live support within 90mins even though I was not a premium support subscriber and I'm on shared hosting. Honestly, you guys offer premium support to basic customers compared to other name hosting companies I've tried. Cheers!
No doubt they are very good at speed but security is a really big concern. Anyone with a slight knowledge of hacking can hack your website at their shared hosting servers.
they are claiming that they have multiple windows server crash but they have no idea when it will be fixed.!!!?? can you believe this . they dont even have disaster plan to give us back our files ????????!!!!!!!!!

Stay away -- servers down for 4 weeks and counting with no backups. Even though they charged us for daily backup. The absolute worst web host currently out there.

Of the several hosting sites I've been involved with A2Hosting is, by far, the best. Their Website is easy to navigate and provides access to all their services I need to run my Wordpress Websites. Their Servers are very responsive and provides a great place to host my sites. Any issues that do arise are quickly addressed and usually resolved in a short period of time.
A2 was very quick in responding with several options to my request. I am reviewing those options and will be most likely be remaining a client. They have been very friendly and easy to work with.

This company has the best uptime and customer service in the hosting space. I've been building and hosting websites professionally since 2010, and this is by far the best service on the market. I've tried all of the major hosting services and none of them offer or compare to A2 Hosting.
Rob Z. provided excellent service and was able to solve the issues I was having with my websites all while on the phone in a matter of minutes. I've been with a2Hosting for several years and would recommend using them to anyone looking for fast, reliable and excellent customer service.
Not sure where to begin there are so many issues. It was rare that the initial support person was able to help, but had to "upgrade to a tech ticket" which frequently took days to get a response.
We had several sites transferred in by their migration team from another host. Except in one case they forgot to transfer the wp-admin file, effectively shutting down the site. Of course, "it wasn't there to transfer" was the excuse. Odd, since the site was perfect on the previous host.
Load speed is one of the services they brag about. Wrong! When I transferred sites off of A2 to another host load speed across the board increased by at least 45% on every site.
There were frequent issues with email services being interrupted. The vague rationale was "a plug in wasn't updated and that's not our fault."
One of our clients decided to purchase his own hosting through A2. You would think it was a simple matter for them to pull one site off of our agency host and move it to his. Nope. They managed to drag our entire group of some 30 sites over.
Stay away from this host. I found them to be consistently inept.

A2Hosting is definitely my hosting company of choice because of their reliable and honest service - and yes, their support is awesome!
I was glad to find that taking advantage of the Black Friday Cyber Monday pricing offer was not an issue as a current customer. Support quickly opened a ticket with billing and they created an invoice that I immediately paid, extending my service for three years. I always tell people to use A2 to have a good host that still offers real support, unlike all of the Endurance International Group (EIG) owned companies.
Everything is good except inode in vps is limited to only 2millions
How to describe my experience. It says unlimited in their advertising, so i bought a 2 year plan. My marketers had complained that it was a bit slow, but on the whole didn't think anything of it as the site was accessible. In any case, I plopped down a large amount of money to do an online promotion. I had 1,000 site visitors to my site in a period of a few hours...in internet terms that's nothing. But A2 apparently can't handle that on thier shared hosting plan. They throttled my account and other than some guy named daniel(I spoke to a bunch of people there), there was nobody helpful. The night it happened, i pleaded with them to help me out as it was killing my business, i spent all this money to run a promo and the guy on the phone kept saying sorry can't help you. I ask what exactly are these "thresholds" i passed, what are the metrics? "sorry can't say", Can I speak to a supervisor or someone who can assist me, "Sorry, no one is available",...it's like amateur hour. So long as you have a few people visiting your site a week, your probably good, but it still runs slow...this SSD super speed stuff is BS. I switched to Godaddy worpress premium, you get 400k visitors a month with unlimited throttle, and it purrs like a kitten....and its cheaper. I'm a bit upset as I literally swtiched services an hour ago and this incident happened 3 days ago. Learn from my mistake.
I sent them an email 2 days ago, telling them my plight....I got ZERO response....A2, if you're reading this, don't bother calling me or reaching out, I WILL NEVER recommend you or do business with you ever again, and would recommend to anyone i speak to to avoid you at all costs.

Not been a good experience! A2 Sales guys sell you the world, Support, "HAHAHA, we fooled you!" doesn't exist! Has been my host about a month. Since then I get nothing but "hours long" holds on support, no return calls. One support person, had such a dialect was not understandable, went on for an hour highly technical stuff that any user of A2's would not need to know, all screaming through a terrible support end cell phone connection. Emails go unanswered, support tickets don't get answered. Now all my email accounts on A2's servers are kicking back sent messages stating persons accounts I do business with no longer exist, can only wonder what incoming isn't getting through, or costing me in lost revenue. Tried contacting Bryan Muthig, CEO, he's too busy to talk to a customer... Gonna be looking for a new host, don't need to spend my time fixing what A2 can't!
A2 Hosting's customer support is always great and they help until the issues are resolved.
