It's a beautiful building which provides fantastic content. I believe that tours of this building are available and as such would highly recommend attending.

There's always something going on there.

Free tickets to the quay sessions online , what can I say best varied free live gig in Glasgow . Staff made it a great night with a professional and efficient service .
And nice to see behind the curtain of BBC programming and production .Highly recommend attempting to get tickets ... just try to avoid the 'Pillar of Doom' ( you will see or perhaps not lol) .

Had a fantastic day watching Mrs Browns Boys. Bad for parking, but not far away from the train stop nr by. Would recommend using the train. The staff were brilliant. Anyone with a disability were extremely well looked after. The area around the docks was clean and tidy and lots of hotels nr by.

Attended for the audience for an admittedly free show with tickets obtained through the BBC random draw on their website.

After being texted that morning to change the start time to half an hour later we arrived to find that had been in error and we were at the back of the queue. We were then told that despite there being in excess of 50 people in front of us, the studio was already at capacity and everyone was now being put in a screening room to watch it on a large screen. After waiting for another 40 minutes and eventually getting to the front of the queue we were then told that they had overbooked to the point of filling the viewing room also and that we could not even get in there! We were given the option of sitting in the foyer for the next few hours in the hope that someone else decides to leave their seat - strangely enough we declined this generous offer.

This whole episode was frustrating enough for us having got the subway to the studio etc. and out off other plans for this event. However the poor people in front of us had paid for a train from Dundee and booked a hotel for the evening in Glasgow - purely to see this show. They were advised they would not be getting any compensation for this.

I understand the premise of overbooking to ensure the studio is full, but to overbook to the extent that you cannot even accommodate everyone in their viewing room (with what was essentially a large TV) is an utter joke.

Wonderful use of our license fees I don't think...

Show recording excellent. Most of toilets closed when show finished which was not good as very long queues, sitting for a couple of hours during recording and over an hour drive ahead of us - we had to queue for a long time. Open the other toilets and you can get rid of us quicker.

Although the BBC Scotland website states they are open 24hrs, Monday to Sunday, this is apparently not so! I called to query a problem I had booking the BBC tour online, only to be told by a security guard to call back tomorrow!

Shows are good but you do wait a while to get seated. It's quite regimented, if you happen to need the toilet during a show you have to put up your hand up and be guided out. Also told when to laugh.! Small area for coffees & snacks( hot & cold)..Good to see how recordings are done
