When a colleague and I tried to check into our room we were told that the hotel had overbooked rooms with 2 queen beds. We were a bit annoyed, but Cassie at the front desk took excellent care of us and got us situated. The rooms and dining were amazing.

Had dinner at the Palm. Nice atmosphere if you are looking for a quieter place where you can actually talk. Steaks are about $50, but are excellent. Huge selection of wine with some "BIG" cabs.

One of the best hotels I've been to. The front desk representative was so friendly! She even left a note under my door that said it was nice chatting with me while I was checking into the hotel and thanks for my loyalty. As a platinum elite member of Marriott/SPG, I'm eligible for an upgrade. She was able to upgrade me to where Michelle Obama had stayed while she was visiting Denver. The room itself and view from the room were fantastic! Now, the gym and pool. Gym features recently upgraded machines and free weights. They were not those crappy old looking ones that some 3-4 star hotels still have. Gym also includes half-sized basketball court! I don't know about you, but I've never seen that at a hotel before and i stay at 4 star hotels regularly. The pool is half outdoor and half indoor. I did not get a chance to go in because it was 30 degrees outside. Fantastic service, spacious room, and location is great too. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great service and location. Walking distance from lot of great restaurants. Service was excellent. I left my ring in the room and security kept it until I came back to the hotel after attending conference all day. Would highly recommend this place.

Close to everything downtown. Get a shuttle or uber from the airport and walk. There it's much parking anywhere and everything is close to walk. Not muck choice. The bus also runs the main street and you can rde it for free.

This is a historic property with lots of personality. My room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet. I was on the backside of the hotel. There wasn't much of a view but I had little outside noise. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.

Nice location and very nice rooms. Our room had a coffee maker and mini fridge. Complementary water bottles at check in and more for purchase in the room. There are two restaurants, a pool, and gym. We were only there one night so we didn't get to see much of the hotel, but what we did was very nice. We didn't have a car, so I'm not sure about the parking situation.

We were seated quickly. The waitstaff seemed a little taken aback when I asked for Vegetarian options other than the one salad I saw. That said, the salad was excellent as was the appetizer pickle.

We only stayed here for a night before a trip to Breckinridge. We loved the fact the ice skating rink was right outside. And after that we went to the bar and everyone was so friendly! Gotta love meeting new people! Also the room was very roomy and walking distance to alot of places in downtown.

Most Westins are 5 star. This was so close but I couldn't get comfortable with the pillows. Everything else was great. The beds comfortable, the showers awesome, the rooms clean, the customer service beyond expectations but couldn't find the right spot with these squishy, snake long pillows. Bring the old pillows back please!

The stay was ok i guess a few hairs in the bathroom but not a big deal. Where this hotel failed so bad was at parking lot. The hotel website shows 35 dollars a day and 45 a day with valet parking. I did not use valet parking i stayed 2 nights the first day when i drove the car out of the garage i had to pay 42 dollars no 35 dollars. The nightmare was when i was leaving i checked out so when i was at the pay station i introduced the ticket it showed 35 dollars i was like cheaper than yesterday i thought. I paid then The parking barrier went up i started driving then immediately the parking barrier went down so i couldn't exit. I pressed the assistant button at the parking station it didnt work and of course no body was there to help. So i had to go to next station to call for assistance. A lady picked up i told her and explained her the situation i introduced the ticket, paid the ticket, barrier went up and then down. She literally told me pay again. I asked her how the machine kept my ticket and they already charged $ 35 on my credit card. I was not going to pay another 35 dollars. a day of parking will ended at 70 that was ridiculous. So i asked her if someone could come to help me. She was telling me that i needed to call from the parking station i used. I repeated to her i couldn't because the assistance button didnt work. This was the worst experience ever the parking was so overpriced and they did not even bother to assist. The hotel must check on this issues. Prices not accurate for parking, broken parking station machines, no one competent with good customer service skills to help. It was super frustrating the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. Ok i read the hotel reply. First, you should tell your guests that at the moment of the check in! And i didn't read anything about why no one came came down and help when i requested assistance cuz they wanted me to charge twice for the same service. A lady with a monthly pass at that garage told me that happens frequently people need help and no one come down and help. So be aware if you have an issue at this garage you are alone and most likely no one is going to help you.

My wife and I were passing through and called reservations before arriving. Turns out they messed up our date we wanted to stay but the front desk associate, Rueben, helped us out and made it right. We loved our room, the coffee and all the people wet came in contact with. The only complaint aside from reservations is the breakfast. We've had better breakfasts at lesser hotels and for free compared to $21 a plate. The syrup had the consistency of water, the fruit was 50/50 on freshness and the eggs were down right cheap-o.

Stayed 4 nights and love it! Everything is close by barbershop, nails, food, coffee, bars, etc... I would recommend the mountain view! Great view of the tower and mountains! Our Bartender were informative of local areas and snowboarding places.

Venerable Westin is a little tired, but you can't beat its location for downtown access, and it still upholds the Westin brand standards nicely.

I've stayed here maybe 10 times over the last decade. When my business needs dictate a downtown location, I've tried several different Marriott/SPG properties but I keep coming back to the Westin.

The rooms are a little tired. They're clean enough, just showing their age. But that's not yet enough to stop me from staying here. This hotel serves my purposes nicely. Would it be the first hotel I'd recommend in the entire Denver metro? No. But it'll do in a pinch.

The Westin is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. I attended a professional conference and the food service was high quality and the rooms well cared for.
