Went to grab drinks and watch fireworks on New Year's Eve. Great place to get together with friends and enjoy a night.
Went to grab drinks and watch fireworks on New Year's Eve. Great place to get together with friends and enjoy a night.
A solid hotel for business and pleasure. Only a block from 16th St. Unfortunately not participating in the SPG Fall 2017 promotion so not staying here as much as I would like.
Was there for lunch. The food was good but the service was slow
Everything is as you'd expect from a Westin. Although the beds were a little too soft, that's not their problem
Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown with tons to do! Very clean and well styled
The sheets were amass there were stains all over them the Room was not organized at all
Extremely friendly staff, and great rooms with a view of Denver.
Great location. Room was nice and spacious and had a really nice view. I also really enjoyed the gym and the pool
Rooms are nice and spacious. Menu is good, food is tasty, but extremely expensive.
I want to start by saying that the rooms are nice. But the only reason why I booked the hotel was because it said is was kid friendly and had tepees for my kids. I called three separate times to make sure it was going to be set up in our room. We showed up and low and behold no tepee. When I asked one person told me they couldn t find them and another told me they already put it in someone else s room and it was first come first serve. I only booked this hotel for my 30 birthday to keep my kids entertained too. Would have booked something else for the price. Was also told i could refund you and you can check out, at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Friday night. I m just very disappointed.
I must say this is one of the best in loveliest Hotels that I have been to in a very long time the front desk was very courteous and very helpful whenever I had any issue or problem not that I had any and I would stay there again and again and again. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone wanting to relax and have a good time.
Beautiful hotel in the center of Denver, convenient for shopping, for eating in the area there are plenty of restaurants and beer gardens. Inside it also has a restaurant, secure car parking for $ 40 a day, free WiFi, spacious and clean room, with large window, I recommend it
Clean rooms close to downtown bars and restaurants.
The team at the Westin downtown are some of the best in the business. I recommend a good night's stay for pleasure or work or a perfect business meeting at the Westin. Their people are amazing!
Wonderful wedding. Made it very easy to figure out. Beautiful event
Location was easy to get to. Room was clean and a nice view. And the staff was very polite.
Great room, with comfy bed, and amazing shower fixture. Upon arriving, tv services weren't working. Repair took way too long. Both maintenance man and roomserver had illnesses. Very off putting.
Spacious room, in a very central location. Great staff and amenities.
5 stars because Cassie us a master of customer service and a truly kind person. Will stay here again because of her.
2019-03-02 - Found hair from previous guest on bathtub wall. Wonder what else had not been cleaned...
I stayed at the Westin Denver Downtown for four nights. I was charged twice for breakfast on the first day. The second charge was later reversed. I was charged $40 for breakfast (4 pancakes, $14 on the menu) the third day. I opted in for the Green Choice which was supposed to give me a $5 credit each day. The voucher was not applied for any of the days on the final bill I received the morning of the fourth day. I went to the front desk and had the bill adjusted. I was told that it would be emailed to me shortly. The following morning, I still had not received the adjusted bill. I called the front desk and was told it would be emailed immediately. An hour later, I still had not received the bill. I had to call a second time to get it sent. It seems some of the hotel staff need training on billing and customer service.
2019-03-03 - To his credit, the front desk manager reached out to me after I filled out the review that Westin sent me. He made sure that the final bill was correct and to my satisfaction. He gave me some extra loyalty points for my experience. Good to see that the management does indeed read the reviews.
The central location of the Westin is great....the Union Station complex was visible from our room and just a short walk. The hotel gym was very nice with modern equipment to ensure I was able to keep up with fitness schedule!
Very rude staff 5 star price 3 star at best over charged place is a dump!
Great location, very comfortable and spacious room and very reasonable price. Conveniently w to the avalanche stadium from here and then enjoyed room service the night after the game. We were able to get a late check out to maximize our relaxation. Awesome city/mountain view too.
You people are rude You're in the customer service industry you need to start learning how to treat people.
The overall service was great staff was nice everybody knows how to treat you, I will vome back with some more conferences lunch meeting
This hotel needs to be updated. It is in a good location but that is about all that is good about it. The lobby is drab, rooms are so-so, our towels had holes and unfortunately for us, we visited during COVID and all the food & room service was shut down. Left us feeling like we had made a very poor choice. We have been staying in Westins for years and would not return to this hotel.
Great beds!!! Clean, cozy, amazing service!!! I love the location!
Hard to judge because so much was shut down to covid. Front desk were very nice
Comfortable rooms, has all the necessary travel amenities (hi speed, fitness center), close to several dining options (and business district). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only barrier to a 5th star is the lack of a club lounge on the property.
Romance package was so great that we booked a second night. The price was the best of any we tried to book. 2 drinks at the bar with an appetizer, free valet parking and use of limousine!
I went to the hotel for a town hall with our CEO. The staff was very professional and accommodating, there was a nice bar and restaurant on site. The conference rooms were clean and relatively up to date.
Hotel have nice car service from and to airport ABM Limousine inc
This was probably the worst Westin property I have ever stayed at in my life. Very disappointing.
The pool operates by reservations only, but it is not managed, its a free for all. I had a reservation for 6-8 pm, when I went, it was crowded with people with reservations from 12, 2, and 4 pm, couldn't even enjoy the pool and had to leave. The hotel staff was notified, and they did nothing... Definitely did not feel safe. It was a health hazard.
The rooms are old and need to be updated. Our bathroom sink did not drain and the bedsheets were wrongly fitted.
When I told management about my bad experience, they said "sorry to hear" but did nothing about it... overall, would definitely not recommend this hotel.
They did a fantastic job of accommodating my company's event and all the people eating, drinking, and wandering around. Great rooms, great plug/USB placement. Great views from the upper floors.
Right in downtown. Easy walk to all places on 16th Street
We sat in the lounge on the second floor for drinks and dessert. It was a great place to view the lights of Christmas parade. Service was slow but they were obviously busy. Prices are higher than average but to be expected at a hotel. We were delighted to pay extra to watch the parade from inside. It was cozy, and they had a tree. A little noisy because the space adjacent to the lounge had a private party with music.
Excellent food, nice and clean conference room, great service from all hotel staff.
Excellent experience...from check in to check out. Nicole Henderson's customer service was phenomenal. The beds do indeed sleep heavenly & the food...fantastic. great location...easy access to everything. Thanks Nicole for your exceptional, outstanding, smile-inducing, welcoming service! Your note made my day & I will carry with as a reminder.
They refused me due to lack of deposit and lost my luggage
Nice facility and rooms, but the service was awful. Would have to ask multiple times for anything to get done or sent to the room, the service was a mess.
Not worthy of the Westin name!
Torn carpet, dirty bathrooms, smoking smell in our room, generally run down and in need of update/repair.
Staff was friendly/helpful/great!
Westin is usually our first choice but this place was a disappointment.
Their iOS and iPad Pro developers are excellent and was great about communicating any misunderstandings. They worked with us very well and even when we gave modifications to previous specifications they did them with diligence.
The room was nice. The pool was great. The parking situation was confusing and inconvenient.
I was at this hotel for a conference (stayed at another hotel). The Westin is not great for a conference. It's a little dark and the rooms are too spread out and hard to find.
Location was convenient, but the staff member that checked us in was very creepy and made us feel very uncomfortable. There was a "water shortage?" that had occurred, but no one told us that when we checked in. The room itself was very nice though.
Great hotel and staff in the downtown Denver location walking distance to many local breweries.
Not as nice as the Four Seasons but strong runner-up
Excellent customer service, very clean and updated rooms. The Palms restaurant has very good food. Conveniently located near 16th Avenue mall, and an outdoor I've skating rink is right outside the door. Excellent exercise room, and an indoor/outdoor heated pool. Highly recommend the hotel, though it is more expensive than other hotels in the area.
Hotel and Palm restaurant made a great valentines day.
Nice coffee, served hot, with cool stirring stocks.
The rooms are a nice size. The service from the hotel staff is excellent. Our only complaint is that the television channels do not include any kid's channels. Instead, you can pay for kid's programming a la carte. This is pretty painful for anyone traveling with young children.
Great hotel, near the mall and tons of restaurants. Clean friendly service
Water takes about five minutes to climb to the shower, and then it is a little more than a drip and barely warm. Really? I thought for $400 a night I d be enjoying a shower. Staff is nice. Suppose one should be thankful for that.
Like all Westins, it was clean and the rooms were rather large. It was also a great location downtown. I'd stay again!
Top notch hotel. Views are spectacular. Fitness area awesome, basketball court, kettlebells, peloton cycles.
Reservations booked months in advance and arrived well after the 4:00 pm advised check-in time and we re still waiting for a room an hour later. No apologies, no cocktails while we wait. This is not a 4 star establishment. It pains me to leave a review like this. I have never received such poor service at a Westin.
Wonderful service I didn't stay the night but it was really great
My husband and I celebrated our 33 year anniversary over the weekend. Every employee we interacted with was awesome. They were very helpful, polite and quick with responses. This was from valet to bell service, to room service to bartenders, and especially upon check-in. Sheila N. was very helpful and friendly upon check-in. She even gave us a free upgrade for our anniversary and sent a nice basket of bubbly and goodies with a wonderful note. The room was great! The bed was comfy and best of all, the room was well insulated and quiet. With it being halloween weekend and so much going on around the area, I was wondering how the noise level would be. I got to sleep in without noise waking me up and the room was so dark, it made it much easier in the morning. I would definitely recommend the Westin downtown Denver!!
High quality hotel, period. Rooms are large and spacious. Beds are fluffy with ample room to sprawl. They have two cups of Starbucks coffee ready to brew yourself in the room and an iron (and ironing board) in the closet to press your suit. Waterfall shower made this rating bump up one star to a five star review. Oh and not to mention great views of the city and mountains!!
The Westin Denver Downtown was a great place to stay. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and anything you need is pretty much within walking distance. There is a cool little putt putt course/public space behind the hotel near the clock tower. It was an enjoyable stay.
