The hotel, room and area were very nice. We only stayed here 1 night. I would suggest not going to the restaurant, it was over priced and every time we asked the the server to refill our bottomless juice, seemed to till his eyes and take forever to get it done

I have gone to a convention in the area for many years. I've stayed at the Hyatt twice before. Once single, and once married. But I have to say that the last 2 years we have stayed at the Westin. We seem to enjoy our stay there more, even if we don't have a front view of the beach. We are hoping to be able to book the Westin again this year.

Very nice hotel, in one of the best locations in LB. The hotel is dog friendly, rooms are big and comfy. The heavenly towels and sheets are the best. Go to the Breakfast Bar a few blocks away for an amazing breakfast burrito!

Gorgeous hotel lobby, and the king bed room that I had was lovely. I particularly liked the rainfall shower head, and the bathroom was very spacious. Bed was comfy, and the concierge was very pleasant to talk to. Overall, awesome hotel, worth the money.

I came here with my family and friends from my place to have lunch a couple of times now. It's a nice place to deal with some business or any matter. This excellent hotel's restaurant had nice and good food as well as the hotel rooms. They strive to provide us the best service that exceeds our expectations.

Pretty typical of a Westin. Overall very clean, rooms are fine, starting to get dated just a tad, tv a bit small, but shower and bed are good to go. Both night stands have readily available plugs for charging all your devices. Staff overall are quite friendly and accomodating. Something to note, elevators don't require key card to access floors. This could be a plus or a minus depending on what you prefer, just throwing it out there. There's also an on site concierge for "Budget" car rentals and a small snack/gift store. Expect to pay for parking if you have a vehicle. Otherwise plenty around within a walkable distance for food/drink, shopping, beach, etc.

Great hotel very friendly staff. Centrally located in downtown Long Beach. Accessible to great nearby restaurants, coffee shops and aquarium. The facilities went through a refresh so the lobby looks great and completely new. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to the corner room at an executive suite. There was plenty of space and the room was great! We also had the option for the breakfast which we really enjoyed. We got the avacado toast and the Benedict which were fantastic!

I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

***AWFULL CUSTOMER SERVICE*** Stayed there last week and got charged twice for ordering one room service! The receptionist had NO proof of second order whatsoever but after I left the hotel, she just debited my account anyway. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!

AWFULL AWFULL AWFULL! Shame on you!

Clean and extremely well maintained rooms. The staff is also extremely helpful. The express room service is available at all hours for any assistance. The in room breakfast option is pretty great.

I liked this hotel. It's one of those places you walk in and say am I adult enough to come in here. It was clean. The beds were comfortable. They open the doors for you, which I avoided by coming in the side entrances.

The room is not as impressive as the photos online. Everything cost extra, the room price seems low until you have to pay $30 a night for parking plus $15 for their advertised Wi-Fi. Just like a lot of things in Long Beach it seems like a fair deal until you have to pay for 10 extra little things. I will look for a different place to stay next time I am in Long Beach

Well furnished rooms with comfy beds, modern styling, and high pressure showers. Very friendly staff. However, I can't give them 5 stars for two reasons. One, they charge $25 for parking. Two, they charge $20 for Wi-Fi access. Come on, it's 2017. Who charges for internet anymore?!

The Room is very lovely as are the amenities in the hotel. I was disappointed to find no concierge lounge for platinum guests, to enjoy Appetizers in the evening. This is the 1st time I've encountered this at a Marriott. I was delighted to find that my dog is welcome.

Room was average, AC very poor. Big empty spaces here not very welcoming. Stood in line for 20 min to check in. Edit: figured out why AC is so terrible. See photo. This hotel is in desperate need of maintenance. I'm sure this is due to some new Millennial manager 'Raising the level of service while cutting costs'. The blankets were very worn and the filling inside the quilting was all balled up giving the feeling our blanket was filled with dead mice and chopped off fingers etc. AC cooling fins looked 50 years old. Note the date on the filter change, 6/23/19. Someone saw this damaged corroded unit and put a new filter in and closed it up and did nothing. Not okay!
