Nice hotel. Good hospitality. Great location. Very surprised I could not get a harbor view room, especially as the hotel was well below capacity during Covid. Elevator maintenance had issues with 2 different elevators in just the one night stay. Still a top notch hotel.

Went here for a statewide conference. Everything was pretty good, up until the moment when a part of the stage in one of the ballrooms holding up the curtains collapsed and injured a guest of the conference. They seemed to handle her injuries well enough, but this was either a serious design flaw or serious negligence on the part of the hotel.
Wonderful stay. The only downside, housekeeping. After couple days of being "green" and not having room cleaned we called to have it cleaned on third day and it was not cleaned when we got back. Surprised and disappointed. Otherwise, everything else was top notch. Fitness room pleasantly big with lots of equipment. The Grill restaurant was our favorite. Food was EXCELLENT. The kind you'd see in a 4 star restaurant. Loved the bar area as well. Special shout out to Herme for making us feel welcome! Would definitely come back to this hotel again.
Great hotel with beautiful views. The service is five stars. Bed is comfortable, room is updated, and the room service was perfect. It s right by the events center and a ton of restaurants. There is a nice restaurant in the lobby with a bar. They also have a well stocked convenience store right behind the check in.
Good hotel ... chaotic wifi damage, chaotic hot water ... room staff who vacuumed at 22:30 or who came back to your room in the morning despite the 'not disturb'
Nothing much to say about this place, everything was clean and service was good. The restaurant and room service were a bit below my expectations and pricey.
Great hotel with easy access to downtown Long Beach and a wonderful resturant inside the hotel. A solid pool with great service in the hotel. Definitely will be back if we are in the long Beach area.
Room was decent, no fridge just a cooler. Had to wait to check in for an hour. Place is under construction. Seating area sucked. Had to go back to the car and wait. Parking for overnight guest is over priced if anything should be validated, parking lot is confusing and spaces are tiny. Pillows need replacing. Rooms do not have enough ambient lighting. Just two lamps in a room and the entrance light. Everything is outdated. No disclosure if coffee room is complimentary. No wall plugs for your stuff, just two lamp sockets, and a desk built in brick. Security latch was broken in our room. Bathroom door had a huge gash in it. Toilet paper holder was awkwardly placed behind you. Overall it's what I made my 2 night stay out to be, and I had a great time. Second stay at a Westin hotel and did not like my experience.
Ok for a 4 star service at the reception is not at the rendezvous. The breakfast is way overpriced for a room over $ 200. In the image of long beach .. everything is bland.
The food was great. The room was lovely. The staff was polite. I loved the bed. Beautiful views too. The price is competitive for the room type we got. We could have stayed somewhere a little cheaper but I think what the hotel offers in creature comforts and location make the small difference in price worth it. We stayed at the Westin near the Staples center in the summer. Its walking distance to a lot of key places but also fairly expensive like most hotels in that area. We liked our stay there so much we tried this Westin out for our next visit to Hollywood. It took about 45min to get to Hollywood from Long Beach. Even with parking fees Long Beach is a bargain if you have the time to drive back and forth. We have no complaints and would definitely book again for our next trip.
Beautiful hotel!! Large open concept lobby area that is clean and welcoming with floor to ceiling windows and amazing views. My first time here so I don't know the area but seems to be in the heart of downtown long beach. Lots happening around and good food to eat. Also a beach in walking distance although I didn't get the chance to check it out. The rooms are amazing! Clean, spacious, bright, warm...I have no complaints. I'm only here on a 16 hour layover and couldn't have asked for better accomodations! Highly recommend this hotel for business or leisure travel!
I wanted a quick get away for my birthday so I decided to book at the Long Beach Westin. I honestly can't say enough about the hotel, amenities and the staff. Gabby in particular made my birthday and quick get away most memorable. When I arrived I was on crutches, but the hotel staff took great care of me and even wheeled me to my suite....lol What Gabby and the staff did not know about me was that that day even though it was my birthday, I had faced some other challenges before getting to the hotel. Gabby took care of me as did the staff assigned to me. My room and view was amazing. I slept so comfortably in the bed and appreciated the lavender oil to rub on your temples for a more relaxed sleep. After check out and my return home I didn't realize that I left a very precious piece of jewelry behind. In fact weeks later is when I noticed it missing. I called today and spoke with house keeping and they found my jewelry and kept it for my return! Now talk about integrity. From the time you pull up to the hotel until the time you are checking out, this hotel ambiance and the friendly/genuine staff just make your stay so much more memorable. I didn't want to leave! Thank you guys!
Unbelievable I'm paying $230 at night with. Gold status and I have to pay for the Wi-Fi connection, the bath tub was dirty and air condition is noisie as hell. As a regular traveler all around the world with more than 100k flying miles a year, I can not give good reviews to this hotel. Sorry guys.
Location is probably the best aspect of this place. 24/7 gym and a pool but the night life around here is nice. Feels relatively safe too. The only issue, the restaurant closes early or doesn't seem to follow it's open hours listed. The happy hour is a little limited. Here for a conference so I can't complain but I enjoy being able to go out every night.
Large clean room, bed, and bathroom with an overhead stream nozzle in the shower. Excellent service. Nice valet guy. And, Bill Burr is across the street in October.
Pathetic. I am here for a conference. The internet is so poor, I can't connect to google, let alone work from my room. They have done absolutely nothing to fix the situation.
My stay was pleasant. It was good to get away to and finally get some nice sleep. There was no hassle checking in and checking out I was not bothered during my stay. The decor was swanky bed was comfortable in the room was clean I would recommend staying at the Westin
Very comfortable rooms and great location, right next to convention center. The bathrooms looked nicely refurbished however only the shower tiles looked very worn.
Upscale hotel but show sign of ages. Self parking is 25 and convenient from room. Good sized gym, pool on the small size. Poor sound insulation at room
MY 2ND VISIT HERE!!! THE COMPLETE STAFF are most kind and extremely efficient during these difficult times I'm so grateful the pool was open for me to continue physical therapy for my leg. Beautiful outside and very happy guests, kids too, having fun together SAFELY!!! I live here in Long Beach , but love to come here to relax and Thank you all, God bless you, and please be safe!
The hotel lobby staff were always incredibly pleasant, the lobby itself was really cute and at 5pm every darn day they have FREE wine tastings. You better believe I took them up on that offer all 5 days!
I paid over $900 for two nights to stay in a hotel under construction with no advanced notice that everything was a wreck. I even showed them that nothing came up on the BonVoy app that I use to book the room with. I woke up to the sounds of hammers and saws. I asked for some sort of compensation and got nothing, not even a call back that was promised. When anyone pays $900 for two nights, there is some sort of expectations that it won't be completely under construction or you give them advanced warning.
It doesn't look like the construction will be done anytime soon so beware.
It's a pretty nice hotel. It's in a great place if you want to be able to walk to lots of food and to the Beach. Also a good amount of bars around too. The staff was nice and the rooms are spacious. You will have to pay for parking. There's a parking garage under the building. Valet is a few dollars more.
I love the Westin Hotels...the beds are great.Rooms clean.Starbucks coffee offered in room. The service was great, everyone was receptive and attentive. Smooth check in and great room.service...no free breakfast as advertised. The breakfast is a buffet and pretty nice variety. Lunch and cocktails were great. Salad (Caesar)and salmon were top notch.
As a Bonvoy Titanium, I travel a lot! The Westin at Long Beach is definitely among the nicer Westins out there. Would've loved if they had a shuttle to the beach or something of the sort.
The stay starts with premium underground parking. Then into the beautiful hotel surroundings. Our bed was deliciously comfortable and the heavenly showers were totally refreshing. Loved my stay. Dr. N
The room was ok, nothing super fancy. The t.v was awkwardly placed. No coffee makers in the hotel room, you have to go down stairs for coffee in the morning, although it s free, it s a little frustrating because people who are not staying in the hotel are also capitalizing on this free coffee from the bar. So we had to stand in line in our pajamas. Not ideal. The valet is not currently being offered, there is self park for $30 a day, there is no free WiFi which is $12, the people next door played music loudly till 6 am amongst other very loud noises from that room, I was in 1533 and lastly I called for soap & towels which took 2 1/2 hours to get to us after I called and asked why I had not yet received them. The pros are, it s a beautiful hotel on the outside, lobby has a lot of seating so you can use free WiFi down in the lobby, the hotel located close to everything so you can walk to the marina and all restaurants near by. My stay was 9/25-9/27 and I honestly expected more but it s fine, we made the most out of it.
