Spectacular View From The Penthouse level. The service was excellent and the food was moderate.

Very nice reception area and close to del amo mall. In fact, it's across the street from it.

Only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom was facing the bedroom with a glass door, so if you're with someone, it'll wake you up when they go to the bathroom at night. Otherwise, I liked this property and the staff. The night after this hotel I stayed at the Torrance Marriott a block away... The double tree was much nicer. I stayed here in January 2018.

As always, the attentive and professional staff there at the DoubleTree Hilton were very much appreciated.

My non-profit hosted an "Each on teach one" event for middle and high school students. The banquet was wonderful, the service was excellent, the banquet room lovely.

We were attending an interview panel. The lobby was nice, lots of seating and room in the bar if you needed to be away from the crowd. Bummer that all the drink/food areas were closed, but did find drinks in the gift shop.

Really nice hotel. First time in LA. Stayed on the 9th floor facing Hawthorne and did NOT have an issue with the noice of a main road. Parking was free which was a criteria when I was searching for hotels for my trip. I found this location to be a nice central point to all the places I needed to commute to. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful Hotel close to shopping and many restaurants!

We had our wedding reception at the Double Tree and it was gorgeous! The banquet hall and staff were wonderful. The hotel rooms were very small, but overall it was an absolutely wonderful experience that we will never forget.

Stay here for work. Rooms are nice after the remodel. Executive lounge has not been open since I started staying here, a year to a year and a half ago....

Very good hotel. Close to a lot of things. Only small negative is that the wifi doesnr work in the foyer

I went to brunch here recently and it is good but the price has gone up so it is a little expensive

We had a great stay. Room was what we expected, WiFi and business center were reliable.

Just across the street from a large mall. Around the hotel small shops a supermarket. In the hotel and around it many parking lots. You can rent cars and bicycles. A fire pit for smoking and swimming pool. Each room with a balcony. Breakfast buffet until 11. 00.

Hotel smells lile smoke in lobby. Rooms have odor also. Stayed executive floor, lounge was closed "until further notice", no reason for extra charge with this situation. But they still charge you. Check in was less than stellar

Only saving grace was the waiter at breakfast. He was fantastic.

It was only one day stay but I had a great stay and really liked it.

The interior is well decorated and they have great catering services.

place is ok. rooms are outdated . power outlets not working. you would expect better from double tree. not this location. probably won't stay there again

I'm here at the Double Tree Hotel in Torrance, ca. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My room is nice,cozy and clean with a nice view of the courtyard/pool area.

Decided to stay at this hotel even though it is a good distance from Pasadena. The hotel was under construction and we received a very good Hilton Honors members points exchange. The Hotel is in a good area close to a mall. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and upgraded us to a larger room. Great stay and...

Good hotel, Great breakfast and rooms are clean. Location is also very close to many attractions in the South bay area of LA. Parking is free and there is plenty of it.

Awesome place with friendly staff. This location is perfect, being directly across from the mall and not too far from the beach. My kids and I are enjoying our stay. The 5th star is for the warm cookies

A holiday party for 120 seniors in the penthouse proved to be a great choice. Excellent service by the staff. Food was very good (choice of roast beef, baked chicken and sauteed sole ). The only downside was the salad which seemed a little tired.

The hotel is close to the shopping center. There are places such as Walmart, Rosse, Target, etc. The hotel staff are helpful and helpful. You have the right to 2 small water per day. not done. The rooms are clean and the rooms have air conditioning and bathroom. The room has a balcony, which is standard. In addition, there is a refrigerator and a tea-coffee maker. Internet access, telephone, television and wireless internet connection complement the existing equipment. Bathtubs are included in the interior equipment of the bathrooms. Hair dryer is among the pleasing details. The hotel also has non-smoking rooms.
Services such as coffee and tea are limited to 1.
It would be better if the coffee was up to 3 pieces of tea.
Some parts of the rooms hear the sound of the rug and ice machine. You should pay attention to these.

It's the same every time I visit. I am always met by nice staff members who offer chocolate chip with walnut cookies. Hotels rooms are the same so nothing to write home about there. It's in close vicinity to several shopping outlets and restaurants which presents a break from the hotel food. The eggs at the breakfast buffet are . Everything else is acceptable!

We stayed here prior to a flight at LAX. Having stayed previously we knew what to expect. Yes the corridors are a little dated and some of the rooms could do with a lick of paint. BUT it is always a lovely stay. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The bar staff are great and the breakfast is magnificent. Location. Close to the beach, shops and LAX is unbeatable. And yes they are renovating. Always my first choice in this area.

Nice room. Was told it overlooked the pool which was somewhat true... Couldn't see the pool because the roof for the first floor extended out. Room was pretty nice although small.

We stayed here during our trip to see the Rose Bowl. The facility was clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. A downside was it was quite a ways from the city. I've stayed at better Hilton facilities though and had I not had points to use up, I probably would've stayed elsewhere.

I would have given no stars if I had the option. I have been going to the Double Tree in Torrance California since 2015. Didnt go for about 6 months and when I went there last Sunday there was about 3 couples total. I got up to get my food and the rolls were stale and cold. The sausage and potatos were cold. Prime rib? It was like a sole of someones shoe. Ridiculous! Will never ever go back.

Had a 60th birthday party there, and the food and service was great.

The accommodations feel out of date but food and service is on par. As always the cookies are solid.

Best Ever Hotel in Torrance, Next to mall, lot of nearby places to eat, little close to redondo beach. Awesome breakfast!! Few people on the Front Desk would be tough to deal with and they will not provide a pleasant experience. I wish if they make a slight change in front desk!!!

Came here for a wedding. It's a really nice hotel and the staff are super friendly.

I stayed at this Double Tree on June 9th 2018. The hotel was great. Accommodations were excellent. The only problem I had with the hotel is someone broke into my SUV and stole my third row seats. When I called and spoke with manager Eva she didnt even offer an apology. I was told I had to get a police report which I didnt mind. When I asked if I could view the surveillance video or at least have the GM view the video I was told I needed a subpoena. REALLY HILTON??? The police are not going to subpoena Hilton for third row seats. But of course the manager knew that. I am a Hilton timeshare owner and Hilton Honors member. I thought this would have been handled differently. ANYONE WHO HAS A SUV PLEASE BE CAREFUL AT THIS DOUBLE TREE AS THEY ARE STEALING THIRD ROW SEATS AND NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY IS BEING OFFERED.
