Nice intimate hotel. Great outside patio and breakfast buffet!
Convenient to the airport right across the street. Large property and valet or self park for a fee.
Fabulous hotel. Breakfast is really delicious and service is on point. Ruben the server is especially awesome.
Staff was very friendly here. Parking adds more than twenty dollars a night to the rate. Beware of the balcony doors, they may only open four inches, but mine wouldn't close correctly once it was opened. Offers digital room key, if using the Hilton Honors app. Pro-tip for that is to make sure you designate you will pay for parking in the app when you request your key. Great location, adjacent to airport and close to many places business travelers visit.
The service at the hilton hotel was excellent as everyone was very happy to serve me.
Nice design, great location and welcoming staffs
WiFi service is buggy ...
Didn't go into a room, just met some friends in the reception area. Nice place from the looks of it.
Great location- 5 minute walk to JWA. Nice rooms and property. Excellent customer service and shuttle service. Great place to stay.
The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I didn't like the prices for the breakfast. I didn't feel they were fair for what I got.
Make sure the room you are assigned is not occupied!!! Twice!!!
The clientell was also a little sketchy.
Stayed here for a night and while the receptionists and valet folks were friendly, the rest of my experience was not so great.
The elevator was old, the room had a noisy A/C, and worst of all - the bathroom was in desperate need of new faucets. It was impossible to make water warm - it was either extremely hot or just cold. And the pressure was non-existent. The iron s steamer was broken, too, when I tried to iron my clothes. But I could use digital check-in and key (that s sarcasm).
Having breakfast in the morning I couldn t see waiters to get seated and nobody explained me the menu - had to figure out everything on my own.
Oh yes, and the location is perfect for those flying out of SNA. I like most of the Hilton hotels but this one needs improvements.
Some staff was very rude .... others were nice but the rooms are SUPER basic and bare
Clean place however had breakfast delivered to the room it was expensive which I expected but it was a little more expensive than I expected it was good and it was on time though otherwise I had to give him a higher star
Hotel is nice, new, and clean. Staff are very friendly. Restaurant is slow as all hotels and a little weird setup. Other options close by. Decent place for a weekend.
Terrible service and unfriendly staff. I asked where I can find some drinking water, guy worked at the bar kept telling me "sorry bar is closed!". I just saw him made a drink for a girl at the party about 3 seconds ago. Manager came over and talked to him, suddenly the bar is open again! Dirty bedding too. Got hair (not mine!) all over. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great outdoor patio environment within the hotel grounds. Nice views from the rooms.
Very good no more removed per that there Two hiltons in this area
This is a very Swanky Hotel. The noise from the airplane starts at around 7 a.m., but the good news is that the airplanes tend to stop around 9:30 to 10 p.m. the proximity to the airport is amazing, and the shuttle leaves 30 minutes on the hour starting at 5 a.m.
Good location. Didn't charge you for dumb stuff. Good Breakfest!
Very pleasant room. Ok breakfast. $28/night to park a car which feels like a lot.
Very nice room and amenities. Food is just OK but you stay there to be near the airport.
So far everybody has been really nice. I may ask them if we can switch to a different room later.
Wish I would have stayed my whole trip at the Hampton Inn located behind this hotel. Glad I changed hotels half way through my trip. Would not recommend the Hilton. The Hampton Inn was way nicer and half the price with free breakfast and cheaper parking fees.
Very pretty lobby, nice and quick help at the front desk. Rooms were clean. Coffee, safe, but no fridge.
Valet crew are nice, bar and restaurant crew not so much!
Was there for an event, did not stay there as a guest. Could not connect to WiFi without being a guest. Staff was not helpful in resolving this.
Went there for a wedding! It was very clean and nice
Would not stay there again. Elevators were down two days in a row. The stairwells you had to take were disgusting. Housekeeping services did not do our room one of the days. If you valet at the ridiculous price (almost the same price as the self-park although no tipping involved for self park) they seem to not answer the valet phone which then gets routed from the front desk to maybe valet, maybe nowhere. Got there about 1/2 hour before check in. They said they could check us in early for $35! Really? Room ready and they will charge you $35 to check in early? Front desk is hit or miss, from very friendly to helpful to basically...what do you want!? Perhaps the general manager should stay at his/her hotel see how they like it. Will say the valets were great once they were told you wanted your car. No free wifi. Prices ridiculous for breakfast. Have reservations for other Hiltons and going to change them.
The event I attended was clean and well laid-out. I can't think of anything to complain about.
Great hotel close to John Wayne Airport. Rooms were clean with a decent decor. They had plenty of USB ports in the room for all the charging needs. Great option for an early morning flight.
Theres better hotels at a cheaper price, seems like you have to pay for everything, parking, wifi ect theres a limit to how much time you can park if else they'll charge you.
The reason for five stars is for the front desk, namely Heather. Down-to-earth, courteous people. Only negative would be the $20 breakfast. Just steer clear of that trap and you're golden.
Airport parking was great, but shuttle service to and from airport is every 30 minutes.
Good location and open to of parking. Was there for Jr. Olympic Water Polo Expo
This hotel is a perfect ten! The service is outstanding, room service is prompt, the view is breathtaking, and the staff is extremely courteous. This is a magnificent hotel. I recommend that you stay here!
Alaska airlines put us up here for a night after our flight was delayed. Facility shows some age but seemed clean. Breakfast buffet offered scrambled egg whites and gluten free options but was way overpriced at $20/plate.
More than I expected! Room was everything you would want for a room. Big TV, great bed, good pillows. Slept like a baby, thanks!
Good for business, less for family
Stayed at the hotel for one night and it was really good.
The room is modern, clean, with a TV and more than 40 channels to choose from. The bathroom is big and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is nothing to complain about.
But
This is not a romantic getaway hotel. Nor this is a place for a family stay. The location is comfortable if you need to stay close to the JWA Airport (5 min) but for anything else? Not so much. Breakfast is served in the main entrance hall, so you sit, and people are walking around you to get to the parking lot.
If you d like to enjoy the pool It s pretty small and few steps away from the parking lot, so it s not fun, the feeling is that you are swimming between cars, almost.
Overall, it s a great hotel if you need a place to sleep, but not more than that.
My only complaint here is the price of parking- I was there from 9am to 1pm and had to pay $26. Way too much. I attended a meeting at the Hilton, and from my minimal experience of the hotel, it was very nice, big, and the hotel staff catering our event were on top of everything and very helpful. The food that was provided was incredibly delicious and healthy options were available.
Went to the Hilton hotel in Irvine for a event. Staff were very accommodating. Had misplaced one of my belongings. Call the staff the next day and they called me back to let me know that they had found the item. Appreciate the timely manner that they did so
Good quality rooms. Nice staff. Might be unpleasant for some because of the noise from the airport near by.
Best hotel in the Irvine/Lake Forest/Santa Ana area.
Very convenient airport parking and shuttle service to John Wayne Airport.
Great service. Clean facility. Professional staff helped running my event till the end. Just expensive parking. $24 minimum for self parking
Room is great and VERY CLEAN which is a big priority for me, but majority of the staff is not friendly.
Terrible restaurant. Expensive parking. Everything else satisfactory.
Hotel was very nice, close to airport and freeways. Rooms were nice but bed was uncomfortable and self parking was expensive
Good location(right next to the airport). The lobby looked clean and the workers were very helpful.
Great service but they should tell there guest it's $20 for a standard continental breakfast
I think for attending an event we had to pay for, parking should be complimentary or validated....so expensive!
The hotel is literally across the street from the SNA airport and conveniently located near a great, small food/restaurant plaza. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and modern. We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very responsive and friendly. They very keen on making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Good location close to the airport. The parking is paid even for overnight guests. Breakfast is better than the regular hotel.
Great hotel freeway close newly renovated rooms highly recommend
Lunch provided did not taste good but the facility was beautiful and the staff was helpful and courteous.
Warning - avoid room 820 and 920! Upon returning to room 820 on March 17, 2018, there was water covering the bathroom floor and the water source was dripping from the overhead light fixture in our restroom. Maintenance responded and it was obvious by the response from maintenance that this is an ongoing issue with the overflow drain in the bathtub in room 920 and not a new problem. Don't know why we were allowed to stay in room 820 and no warnings were issued from the hotel staff. There is also a musty, moldy smell in room 820 as well. Maintenance reported that the overflow drain to divert water and send it down to the tub drain had been installed incorrectly in room 920 and this was why water was draining through the light fixture and onto the floor in room 820. No offer was made to turn off the circuit breaker that served the light fixture in the restroom in room 820, so I'm assuming the only hazard would be slipping on the watery floor. Maintenance offered to have housekeeping wipe the floor with a towel in room 820. In addition, maintenance also let the guests in room 920 know they needed to carefully calculate their water displacement in the tub, so the tub water would not reach the bottom of the overflow drain and cause a second episode of leakage through the light fixture in room 820. I'm hoping that Hilton will do the right thing and repair the tub in room 920 before this nuisance becomes a danger around the light fixture in room 820, other electrical equipment in the ceiling as well as the unsuspected surprise of stepping on a slippery floor.
Rooms were clean and up to date. There is a nice lounge/lobby with a small store to purchase snacks and amenities. There is a bar and restaurant on the premises, however I cannot comment on them as I did not eat there. The pool area is also very nice. The parking is an open lot (no covered parking) and signs say it costs $30 for overnight parking, but both mornings the gate was open and so parking was free. The staff was friendly. The location is also very convenient as it is literally across the street from the orange county john Wayne airport. This means you're about 15 minutes away from the beach and/or Disneyland. Also two large shopping malls are close - south coast plaza and fashion island.
no fridges in the room although there is a space for it, in general it not well kept.
Average Hilton hotel. The car park costs $28 per night!
I was only a visitor attending a conference, so I can't speak about the quality of the majority of the hotel. Only issue was the staff pretty much abandoned the Starbucks in the lobby for nearly 45 minutes during a peak period with dozens of guests waiting.
For an expensive place there's nothing and the room is super small
